Went here for brunch to celebrate the 85th birthday of a dear friend of the family and everything was fantastic! We were a group of 12 (mostly older women) and the wait staff and bartenders were extremely patient, courteous and professional. A friend told me about this place and it did not disappoint. The server was great right off the bat. She was friendly and knowledgeable about everything on the menu from the drinks to the desserts. She suggested the Fig drink. Goid choice, it was tequila, ginger beer with fresh figs in it. Yum. She said I will bring you out some bread. We'll, it turns out they fresh, hot popover right from the oven. They were flaky, crispy and buttery. From there it only got better. The arincini were cheesy, crispy and packed full of flavor in a cacio e pepe sauce. They have a ravioli special, today it was shortrib and ricotta stuffed raviolis with crispy fried green onions on top. I had the crab spaghetti in a creamy, lemon sauce with cherry tomatoes. Both entrees were just wow. To end, we had the homemade rice pudding and carrotcake with chocolate chips, not raisins. All desserts are made in house. Both desserts were fantastic. First dining experience of 2023 took place at Nikos last night and I have to say it wasn't too shabby. Our reservation was set for 5:30, but we arrived about 15 mins prior. A lovely woman at the hostess podium, which I would later come to find out was the manager, said it wouldn't be a problem and they'd be able to get us seated. The dining room was very clean, modern, with ambient (but welcoming) lighting. Our waiter, Victor, stopped by our table and asked if we wanted to start off with cocktails. The blood orange cosmo was speaking to me, so I went with that. A wonderful choice indeed! It was perfectly tangy and sweet. The complimentary popovers with butter were to die for. If I had to describe them, they were a mix between a croissant and cornbread. They came out crispy and warm. For our appetizer, we ordered the tuna tartare. It took me by surprise; it was fresh and delicious, but should've came with more chips. By the time we finished the chips we still had more than half of the tuna left. We picked at the leftover tuna with our forks. The eggplant parmesan was interesting - sauce and cheese were on point, but the eggplant slices still had the skin on them and therefore were a little tough to chew through. This dish would have been a hell of a lot tastier had the skin been peeled off. It was a decently sized portion. Victor didn't have to convince us to get dessert but my mouth was watering as he recited the options. We ultimately went with the Oreo cheesecake. Move over, Cheesecake Factory! The consistency was creamy but had the texture of yellow cake. I have no clue how they performed this witchcraft, but we devoured the entire thing. Cravings satisfied! The manager that I mentioned at the beginning of my review was walking around each table asking if we enjoyed ourselves. Valet is offered here but the lot in the back has plenty of parking spaces. What a wonderful date night experience! Our server, Kaylie was amazing and attentive. She helped me pick out the perfect cocktail - Rosemary Sour. For dinner, I indulged in the Chilean sea bass, perfectly nestled in a savory tomato base that was rich and flavorful. The dish was complemented by delicate, pillowy gnocchi that added the perfect texture, making each bite a delightful experience. Meanwhile, my husband savored a filet mignon cooked to absolute perfection. It was so tender that it practically melted in his mouth with every bite. His meal was accompanied by fresh asparagus, crisp and tender, and creamy mashed potatoes that rounded out the dish with a comforting finish. For dessert, I chose the banana crème brûlée, and it was absolutely a winner. The creamy, caramelized top gave way to a smooth, rich banana flavor that was simply divine. My husband enjoyed a slice of moist carrot cake, which was deliciously spiced and topped with a perfect cream cheese frosting that brought everything together beautifully. For starters, the place is very nice inside. But that's the best I can say about it. A party of 6 , we waited 24 minutes from the time we ordered drinks to the time they arrived at the table. Rediculous. The portions are small and the prices are high. Don't order any dish with red sauce, it tastes like Ragu. We ordered a second drink which came at the same time as our bill. I went here for a rehearsal dinner and omg. Amazing!!!! This picture is just my leftovers that I packed and cut up, so please disregard the disarray they're in lol. I consider myself an Italian connoisseur and this place is 11/10. We got Caesar salads, gnocchi vodka, fresh pop overs, and a choice of entrees. I had lasagna while my BF had the chicken parm. The lasagna is thin layers, fresh pasta and uses béchamel which is obviously superior over a ricotta mix. Chicken parm is two small breasts over spaghetti. The gnocchi was fluffy and sauce divine. I went to bed that night overly stuffed and excited to eat my leftovers for lunch prior to the wedding. Not to mention service was wonderful and private room beautiful. Made same day reservations to dine at Nikos ( this used to be a restaurant called Christine's) Pulled out car up to the front and they had valet parking set and you text the valet when you're ready from your table. As soon as I entered I noticed the very lively bar area. Service was professional and the hostess, keeping the flow, smoothly guided us to the left side which was very open, dimly lit area. The artwork seemed to feature open spaces but a beach one of which had a small light house in an open scene. Seemed apropos. The room didn't have too many diners. I could hear the art house music very very well. The scene was set. Erica our server was knowledgeable and friendly and we were in her care for the evening. We usually order an appetizer and drinks and then study the menu but Erica said popovers we're on their way and we can put in the app order with the entrée. She let us know that the cauliflower appetizer was a hot item & short rib fetuchini was also quite popular. We ordered that as well as the sea bass. I will say that the food came out at a nice pace. It was delicious and freshly prepared. My sea bass was delicious. It was fresh & flaky as Goldie Hawn. Nice texture. Spent New Years Eve dining at Nikos and can't praise them enough! The whole vibe was great, festive. Sat us within 10 minutes of our reservation which is always difficult on New Years. Drinks were on point, and all 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals! The mezze platter app was plentiful and yummy, and the menu included the entire delicious regular menu along with some wonderful specials! Chicken parm, roast chicken were perfectly prepared, and the ravioli lobster special was delicious. There was no forced price fixe or set holiday menu with obscene holiday pricing which was wonderful! The popovers were amazing, and deserts were also fab and HUGE! The chocolate cake is to die for, as is the peanut butter ice cream. The dining room was decorated for the holidays and there was great attention to detail, including the nice lights outside. The service was terrific, and our server Kayley M was absolutely fabulous and also very fun! She was probably the best server we had the entire year of 2025 of all our meals out ( plenty!), so we will look for her in 2026 when we come back as her smile and pleasant demeanor made our New Year's Eve experience even better! Fantastic is an understatement! I just had a luncheon for my sons baptism there on Sunday with 50 family members and everything was superb. I contacted Patti about two months ago to book the event. She was quick to respond and very accommodating. She provided me with a variety of options for a large party; the process was seamless. The day of the event was stress free for me. The room was set up apart from the rest of the diners. Patti had coordinated colors and floral arrangements which turned out beautifully (pictured). My husband and I chose the buffet option and the dishes did not disappoint. The package included a ceasar salad, homemade pasta with vodka sauce, chicken parm, eggplant parm, salmon in a lemon butter sauce, mashed potatoes, and popovers. It also included tea/coffee/sodas and we opted to have an open bar for our guests. For the 4-5 children we had there was also an option of chicken fingers and fries or spaghetti with chicken meatballs. Patti ran the small bar set up for just my guests herself which made it very intimate! For dessert we selected the homemade chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream...our guests raved about this! Throughout the event Patti and the manager checked in with me as well as my husband to ensure our needs were met. It's easy to wax rhapsodic about this establishment. Handsome dining room, scratch made dishes, and an interesting beverage program...there's a lot to like. On our second visit there tonight, a nearly perfect late spring evening, we shared the tuna tartare appetizer. Enjoyable and served with house made potato chips that serve as scoops, it's a fun start to a meal. On our first visit, a wet, blustery day, I began with a well-executed French onion soup with generous amounts of gruyere cheese. Very satisfying. Tonight's entrée was seared scallops served over an extraordinarily creamy crabmeat risotto, dusted with shaved Parmigiano and finished with a citrus sauce. I know, in Italian cuisine, mixing seafood with cheese is a no no, but this dish has made me a believer. My wife's entrée was a beautifully executed roasted branzino, with perfectly crispy skin. The spinach accompanying it was exceptional. And the cheesecake...OK, I've had some really good cheesecakes over the years, but this was the lightest, airiest example I've seen. While I typically love the traditional graham cracker crust with cheesecake, at Nikos they use a sliver of cake. Given how light the filling is, I really can't disagree with that choice. Nikos brings the table complimentary popovers that are just lovely, and served with thoughtfully room temperature whipped and piped butter. All in all: eat here. This was a first time experience and it was perfection! We took our dear friend out for her birthday and she thinks this might be the best meal she's ever had! From the amazing drinks and beautiful settings to the friendly and knowledgeable wait staff, we could not have been happier! Everything is made fresh so I could not pass on the crab pasta! The sauce was decadent and the spaghetti was cooked to a perfect al dente. All of our drinks and meals were most impressive and dessert was big enough for all four of us to get a sizable tasting! We opened with a round a round of drinks and of appetizers including cheesesteak eggrolls, poached pear salads-- both were fabulous and beautifully plated. For our mains. I had the lamb lollipops, cooked medium raw, was perfect. Beautifully plated, the flavor was amazing. Had a side of Brussels sprouts. My wife had the Crab cakes, was fabulous. Full of real flavorful crab meat. Our friends had the Branzino and Casarecce dishes. All dishes we fresh, beautifully prepared, and fully enjoyed. We finished out with a large slice of chocolate cake for the table and a cappuccino for me . Again, everything was perfect. The only comment I'd make is that the room we sat in (with the bar) was overly loud, I couldn't really hear our friends across the table. Next time we ask for another room to be seated. read more

FYI, this was Christine's. They serve popovers as their table bread. These were unexpectedly amazing! We started with muscles in white wine sauce, shared among the three of us. It was so good I used the rest of the popovers to soak up the sauce! We had three different salads for a light dinner. We each got it topped with a protein: shrimp on the Caesar, salmon on the arugula, and chicken on the third (name escapes me). They were all delicious with surprisingly large portions. Have driven by here for a couple of years and never ate there. Gave it a try after hearing from friends about their experience. Really impressed with the meal from start to finish. Our server, Sue, was fantastic. Spaced every aspect of the dinner out with impeccable timing. We had specialty cocktails and they didn't disappoint. Popovers were the bread course and they were just right! Apps were all wonderful. We've had arancini at other places and the ones here were a cut above. The oysters were super fresh and delicious! This place was updated very tastefully from when it was Christine's. I have to say our experience wasn't exactly 5 stars, but I'm fairly certain it was the fault of our toddler. He's usually pretty good out at restaurants, but the amount of time we spent here was a stretch beyond his limits. Trying to judge the place as if he weren't with us and I'll have to go back for another visit without him. Generally speaking, I'd say it's kid friendly-ish. Everyone was very nice to us and him. They don't have a kids menu, but they do have items that work great for kids - we got him the chicken meatball appetizer and a side order of Mac and cheese. Neither are pictured. Complimentary popover bread was so good! I got the blood orange cosmo which was delicious. We shared a charcuterie board - it was humongous. I mean holy moly I honestly wondered if they were losing money on it. Everything we tried on the board was good - more pita would be useful I guess but we didn't want to fill up too much anyway. I ordered the braised short rib pasta and it was soooo yummy. Lots of flavor without feeling too heavy, but I did bring home quite a large portion. I was getting full and my son was ready to go. My husband and I went to Nikos this evening to celebrate our anniversary. Our server, Alex, was helpful and attentive and the food- lasagna and crab with homemade spaghettini was exquisite. This restaurant truly exceeded my expectations in many ways. There is so much to say so here goes. Upon walking into the restaurant, you are hit with a modern upscale vibe. Waiting for our table in the bar area we were surrounded with a vibrant energy. There are several tables in this space so there are people talking, drinking and eating. Great energy overall. When we were walking to the table I expected the main dining room to have a much more sedate energy, but, this was far from the case. The energy level here was not as vibrant, but far from boring. The space is very comfortable and most folks here were enjoying themselves and their food. The decor in this space is modern and upscale. I especially loved the amazing photographs displayed here as well as the lighting by the beautiful light fixtures. The interior design here is on a completely different level than any other restaurant in the area. Now onto the food and drinks. My wife started out with a blood orange cosmo and I had a Four Roses old fashioned. My old fashioned drink was served over a large cube and was done just right and hit the spot. My wife's drink on the other hand, blew me away (I had a few sips)! Freshly squeezed blood orange was used in the mix. The flavor was amazing and not too sweet, very refreshing and just the right amount of pow. I would highly, highly recommend getting this cocktail. The wine list is nice and not overly extensive. I wish there was more selections for wines by the glass, but the wines that I had Albarino and a Malbec were wonderful and served in large format wine stems. I would have gladly opted for a bottle of wine instead of by glass, but I did not want to commit to a bottle as we were enjoying drinks as well. We ordered the tuna tar tar and the angolloti for our appetizers. I loved them both. The tar tar was mixed with jalapenos and had a bit of creme fresh on top. It was a terrific bite with just the right of heat, unctuousness, and the taste of the tuna. It paired very well with a sip of Albarino. The angolloti, was home made (all their pastas are) and was perfectly al dente. It was served with a pesto sauce which was great for dipping the freshly served Yorkshire puddings. The main dish for me was the 14oz NY Strip and for my wife it was the sea bass. Both dishes were upscale in their presentation and made the experience that much better. My steak was perfectly medium rare and was so flavorful. This was one of those situations where every bite hits the spot, which for me is not very frequent when it comes to steak. The Malbec by the glass was a perfect pairing for this steak. The sides of porcini mushrooms and brussel sprouts were delicious also. However, the mushrooms really stood out for me. Normally, the mushrooms absorb a lot of oil in the cooking process and could come out on the greasy side. Not here, they were nicely seasoned and went well with the steak. My wife was raving about her sea bass. It was presented over greens with a sauce at the bottom so that the fish is not drowned in the sauce, keeping it nice and firm as intended. My wife does not like subdued flavors, and she loved loved her dish. Given all the above we just had to have desert. We ordered the carrot cake and the cookie skillet. For me the cookie skillet was very sweet, fresh and good, but way too sweet. If you want an intense chocolate chip cookie experience, this is the dish for you. I would suggest getting an additional scoop of ice cream on the side, as I don't think one is enough for this dish. Now, to the carrot cake. Homemade by the proprietors and one of the best carrot cakes I have had. It is on the rich side due to the amount of frosting, but in a good and not overwhelming type of way. The slice does have some chocolate chips on the frosting and a there is a bit of chocolate sauce as well as a fruit sauce on the plate to bring the cake to a whole different level. We could have easily shared one desert as the portions are not tiny. My cake went well with a nice Fernet on the rocks while my wife had another blood orange cosmo. I hate to sound like I am gushing about this place, but Nikos really did exceed my expectations in many ways. I cannot think of another restaurant in the area that has both ambiance, really good food and amazing drinks. The pricing could have easily been 10-15% higher and still be well worth it. We had reservations for a table of 7 & we arrived early. We were greeted in a super friendly manner & our table was ready so they seated us right away. The hostesses were very efficient and professional. We had a great waitress who was friendly and attentive. Throughout the evening we were greeted and served by various staff for water and drink refills, removal of plates as well as bread refill. Their house bread service (some type of cheese popover) was very good! Notable delicious dishes were the arancini, sliders,French onion soup, Greek salad,gnocchi in vodka sauce, crab spaghetti, lamb, and NY strip steak. The Casarecce is incredible! They wouldn't let us order apps first and then wait to order dinner. Pretty convenient for them to get big bill out of us in 45min. We also made a reservation for 7pm and didn't sit down until 7:15pm. They also forgot our sauce we asked for on the side. My wife and I went to Niko's the new restaurant in Yardley we both had a really great meal. For appetizers we got the crispy cauliflower with Nico sauce it was excellent along with a flatbread with caramelized onions and different types of cheese and mushrooms. I also ordered six oysters with jalapeño mignonette which had just the right amount of heat. I got the Seabass and my wife got their grilled burger made of bison and short ribs absolutely delicious the only shortcoming was her fries were soggy. For dessert I got their homemade rice pudding and original recipe from years ago absolutely delicious. For drinks I got their house Cabernet which was just OK and then I ordered a martini which was excellent I highly recommend you try this new restaurant!!! On a sidenote the interior is upscale New York contemporary... it's a little loud inside but not too bad. read more
