Revere has been sitting on the river forever and there's a good reason for that. When you walk in you get a real vibe from when dining was a little more quaint show we say than we often see today. It's dark and cozy and has a lovely large bar set off to the side of the eating area. I like the bars to be part of the dining experience, but I really love it when the bar is in its own little place, and the diners are in their own little place together. We have enjoyed Thanksgiving here for several years as well as many many many meals they are consistently yummy and always warm and welcoming. This is one restaurant where I've never had a bad meal. This is clearly a local favorite, and atmosphere is very loud, friendly, and warm. The bang bang shrimp was tasty, I found the apple-walnut salad to be too oniony, but my husband and son liked it. But our pastas were meh - while the pasta itself was cooked to a perfect al dente, the sauces were all bland and lacked depth and flavor - my linguine vongole was totally bland (not a hint of red pepper) and the sauce was extremely watery and the clams were tough. It was all adequate, but nothing to write home about. But judging from the lively crowd, they don't need our business, and I'm glad. read more

This place felt like a warm hug. We started with the bread--seasoned just right and served warm. Simple, but so comforting. Definitely a 9/10. I ordered the Penne Alla Vodka with breaded chicken--creamy, flavorful, and super satisfying. An 8/10 for me. My sister had the gnocchi with breaded chicken and was raving--she gave it a 9/10 without hesitation. We also had a couple drinks, and let me tell you--they were made with love. Revere was recommended to me by a friend last year and it is now one of my favorite local spots. My dad and I enjoy coming here and it's become the place I take friends. There is a seating area on the left and the bar with seating to the right. It's just very cozy and inviting. Service is consistently fabulous, friendly and welcoming. They start you with bread and it comes out warm, fresh from the oven. My dad's favorite thing to order is the branzino which comes with shrimp and saffron rice. I'm typically a creature of habit and order the Caesar salad and vodka rigatoni #girldinner. Theirs is stellar and it's actually one of the dishes my friend touted to me when recommending Revere) and the dressing is the perfect ratio for the salad. Now not all Vodka sauce is created equal and they knock it out of the park. I have also tried the Pork Chop Saltimbocca which was amazing! It was stuffed with spinach and prosciutto and topped with a Demi glaze reduction which everything combined was the perfect match and so flavorful. Their drinks are also superb. My go to is a Moscow mule and they execute it perfectly! During the week it's easy to walk in, but make sure to snag a reservation on the weekend. read more

We were here for a holiday party with work, and it was a very nice place to have it - we were upstairs and had that space to ourselves. Food was good, nice shared plates and such, and we got to bring some home as well, which was a bonus. i really enjoyed the pork. Was here for a work lunch with my coworkers. We ordered a bunch of sides including bang bang shrimp, calamari Fritto, mozzarella e la vodka, and caprese salad. The bang bang shrimp was very good. Shrimp tasted fresh, had a nice crunch, and the sauce of sweet and savory/spicy worked well. Calamari fritto was perfectly breaded and fried. The breading was light and airy, with a very meaty calamari. The sauce which consisted of a cooked down sweet and spicy cherry peppers was a great complimentary to the fried calamari. I ordered the Frutti di Mari for the entree. The seafood was plenty. Mussels, clams, shrimp and calamari in the entree was very fresh. They did not skimp out on the amount of seafood. The red sauce had the right balance. It came with linguini, which I always prefer with my seafood red sauce pasta dishes. For the dessert, I got the peanut butter explosion. It was a very rich mousse like texture, which I enjoyed with a small cup of hot coffee. The peanut butter and chocolate flavor of the dessert was a good combination, and did not overpower each other. The meal started with a salad, followed by vodka rigatoni, and a choice of salmon or chicken, all served with a side of garlic bread. The service was friendly and accommodating to our group's needs, which I really appreciated. We sat at a high top table at bar! Great move. Mike the bartender was our server and provided great suggestions. We had the PEI muscles with pomodoro, OMGOODNESS!!! DELICIOUS!!! The bread was sooooo good dipped into the sauce. We had to ask for more bread just to finish off the sauce. The Mr. had the special - - rib-eye steak (Not cheap but well worth it!) says it was the best steak he's had at a restaurant in years! It came with asparagus & baked potato. The asparagus was delicious, the potato was just ok. I had Rigatoni Vodka without prosciutto and added shrimp! Also delicious. Both entrees came with salad, although there was an up charge for the Caesar salad. The salads were a decent portion and the entree portions were substantial. Dined here on a Sunday evening and was able to get a good reservation! Friendly staff, got seated very quickly with water and an option for additional drinks. They have table seating and high top bar seating as well. Menu is decent, portions are solid for the price I think. We ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio, Moscow mule, Linguini Carbonara, and Vodka Rigatoni. The bread they serve to start is warm and a good ratio of crunchy and fluffy. The pastas were good and had a lot of sauce in each dish. This means they'll make for good leftovers! I've known about this place and passed it by many times while going into Lambertville or New Hope, usually to eat. I think their liquor license was my main sticking point as I prefer BYOBs. But my uncle heard about it, wrote it down and mentioned that he wanted to try it. So myself and a few other family members brought him here for a Sat lunch recently. We were seated in a room just off of the bar that seemed updated. Nice accommodations. I sipped a Peroni on tap and enjoyed the light almost beer like taste. I selected the lunch version of chicken parm($18), my uncle chose ravioli, and my cousins both had the veggie wrap. We were served a nice toasted and cheesed up bread and our meals came out pretty quickly even though they were busy. My uncle liked his ravioli, it appeared to be 4 or 5 hefty ones in a traditional red sauce. I ordered a side of meatballs and gave him most, they were ok we both agreed. My parm was a good portion with Al dente penne. Even with a lot of the bright red sauce, the breading was not soggy and I liked the dish. My cousins liked their wraps and I must confess that as an item I probably wouldn't order, they looked really good. They came with a fresh as it gets spring mix salad too. I was stumped as to why our "meals" came without anything but sandwiches did. Service was professional and friendly and I can see why this place has survived the times and still can pack the customers in. At the bar: ordered some oysters, against common wisdom, and was very fortunate to get a half-dozen very tasty ones. This is a nice happy-hour special, they're only two bucks apiece at that time (and at the bar only.) Downside: I ordered a glass of wine I can get for $10 a bottle all day long, and they charged $11.50 a glass. Ouch. Painfully profitable. Dining room is quite comfortable and stylish, definitely enjoyed the atmosphere. Service was top-notch, we were neither ignored nor hounded by our very nice server. The food was very good, though it lacked any subtlety. "Loud" flavors, if that makes any sense. Portions were generous. When I go back I'll look for opportunities for the kitchen to tone down the wow a little :) All in all I can see why this restaurant has survived all these years. read more

We went there after a funeral with a large group for a lunch and everything was fantastic. Communication was great, staff was present when needed and absent when not. Their food was amazing, it was cooked to perfection. Came by with another couple on a Saturday with a 645p reservation. The place was a bit crowded and the parking was valet only. After about a five minute wait our car was parked. Our wives had gone in ahead and secured our table. There appeared to be a nice outdoor scene with live music and high tops. It was around 7pm and 60 degrees F. Upon entering we saw our companions and joined them in a wide open dining room to the right. The bar was directly ahead and was crowded. Clearly no one had heard of the governor's rules. The room we were in was sparse and uninviting. All tables were spaced and all servers wore masks. Our table seemed small and tight. Our server arrived after about five minutes. It was too long to wait before being acknowledged. She was pleasant enough and we ordered cocktails. A few glasses of wine and a Gibson for me. It took too long for our cocktails to come - over ten minutes. Meanwhile a plate of heavily salted garlic bread was brought to the table. It was tasty but a bit too salty. My Gibson was perfect with three small onions and a side car. Others enjoyed their wine. We ordered a pork chop, two pasta dishes and I got spare rib ravioli. These were brought to the table by a bus boy who did not know who ordered what. My wife's dish was brought out later. My ravioli was undercooked and did not have enough spare rib to make the case. Also, we ordered a bottle of red Sonoma blend for the mains. It was delicious but a bit overpriced. Others enjoyed their dishes but could not finish their pasta. The entire meal was adequate but not great. And we thought a tad expensive. Total was ~$400 including tip, for four with a bottle of wine. I called a few days in advance to see if they could accommodate our competition dance team for a group dinner. I gave an estimate of how many we expected and a window of time for when we thought awards would finish up. They reserved the upstairs for our group, which was a beautiful space. The food and service was wonderful, and our dancers were a bit noisy (sorry!) but everyone was so lovely and understanding of their excitement. It was also my birthday, and they surprised me with a slice of birthday cheesecake. All around, it was a great experience. Came to The Revere for my sisters birthday on a Friday night. Definitely had intimate vibes with great classic Italian foods. The server was very considerate and attentive during our service and made sure to check in frequently. I appreciate great service at restaurants that charge a premium for their food. It was also a pleasure to see a local Accordion player singing and entertaining guests apparently happens only on Friday nights here. I have found this gem during the pandemic and have now ordered from here many times, it's become a staple in our house, we even catered for a party during the summer, they are consistently good. The portions are very good, everyone at the party RAVED how yummy the food was!! We usually get the family meals and they are generous and such a great deal. My review is only for the food as we have not eaten there yet but plan on soon. Our interactions with the staff and the restaurant itself when picking up, all awesome. TITLE: DISAPPOINTING EASTER SUNDAY BRUNCH BUFFET My family of ten decided to go to The Revere Restaurant in Ewing, New Jersey for their Easter Sunday brunch buffet. Although we had previously dined at this restaurant for dinner and enjoyed it, we were extremely disappointed with our recent experience. The food was below average and the service was not up to par. The restaurant charged $42 per person, which we found to be overpriced for the limited selection of mediocre breakfast foods. We were surprised to learn that juice was not included with the buffet and had to be ordered separately for an additional $3 per glass, which is highly uncommon as other restaurants that serve breakfast/brunch buffets include juice. However, coffee and hot tea were included. Overall, we were not satisfied with our dining experience. We believe that The Revere should focus on their dinner food service and avoid being in the breakfast buffet business altogether, as they do not seem to have the expertise. It is also worth noting that we never saw an owner or senior manager on the floor to direct and delegate the staff, which made it difficult to address our concerns as customers. To the owners, we would like to express that this neglectful act toward your guests has caused us to decide that we will "never return" to The Revere again! read more
