    Paneer tikka masala

We ordered the shaam savera & paneer tikka masala both of whose gravy (base curry) was similar in taste although the shaam savera tasted better. Also ordered the schezwan paneer pizza whose sauce didn't taste fresh & was sour. I would have given this place 4 stars if they hadn't charged a mandatory gratuity for a group of 4 & to top it off had an option to add gratuity (which we did since we weren't aware)

Visiting family and decided to head out to dinner. My family raves about this place and I am happy to report it met all my expectations. This place is what true Indian food should be like. I have yet to find anything even .1% close to this back in Des Moines! Des Moines do better!!! We went in on a Friday night and the place was packed! Basically you order and they bring the food to the table. We got the butter chicken, dal makhani, garlic naan, butter naan, papdi chat omg so good! Paneer tikka, malai chicken, fish pakora. And for the kiddos we got plain noodles which were very deceiving but flavorful. Overall this place deserves more than 10 stars. I didn't get much pictures so here is all I can offer. There is a huge Indian community around this Jersey area so that I think places a huge role in the food expectations. Overall wonderful experience I absolutely loved it. Can not wait to come back. Order up front food is brought to the table Parking available They accept credit cards and cash Prepare to wait for a table

Chili Garlic Fried Rice...great combination of flavors!

Honestly, if I could give this establishment infinity stars I would! The food was just so incredibly good!! Came here prior to the pandemic with some of my co-workers as it was highly recommended and my only regret is that 1. We had not gone prior! and 2. I am over an hour away and am tempted to take the drive just to get some take out! The entire table got the Chicken Tikka Masala with Naan and an order of the Chili Garlic Fried Rice for the table. As we were waiting, the aromas that filled the restaurant had you salivating even before the food got to the table! We got the Chili Garlic Fried Rice first and it was packed with flavor! It was not overly garlicky or overly spicy. It was the perfect combination of flavor. But nothing could beat the Chicken Tikka Masala. Holy amazingness!! It was so like I died and went to Indian Flavor Heaven!! The creaminess of the Masala sauce left you wanting more Naan to dip it in! The chicken was juicy and tender and went you mixed it altogether with the rice, oh my! Soooo good! I ate until I could not eat anymore and even when they were clearing the table, I had to take just a little more Naan to scrape off the little Masala sauce that was left! Yes, it was that good!! And it was pretty cool that they had an area where you could pack your own leftovers since it could get a little messy! I cannot wait to physically go back to work because this is the first place I am going to for takeout!

    Garlic Naan

Incredible food and GREAT value! Everythjg was fresh and they made it vegan for us! Coming back all the time!

It can raise expectations to a height no samosa should ever have to endure. The place sits in a modest strip mall on Route 27, looking almost shy about itself. At 5:30 on a Friday every table was already occupied, and the parking lot already resembled a bumper car ride. Families were eating. Couples were waiting. The air smelled of spice and butter and sizzling metal platters. Nobody appeared interested in ambience. They were there to eat. We ordered chole bhature, bun samosa, chicken tikka sizzler, and golgappa. The golgappa arrived like a science experiment designed by joyful people. The bun samosa was glorious nonsense in the best possible way. Soft bread hugging a hot samosa like two old friends reunited after years apart, a sweet chutney spread on the inside of the bread. The chicken tikka sizzler came out hissing and smoking like it had opinions about something that everyone needed to hear. Dessert was gulab falooda for me and ras malai for my wife. When the waiter learned it was our first visit, he quietly removed both desserts from the bill. A small act of kindness that felt larger than it should have. Human beings do that sometimes. The setting is unpretentious. The service is fast and friendly. The food is remarkable. America, and New Jersey in particular, seems to hide many of its treasures in strip malls. This is one of them. We will absolutely be back.

Executive chef Ashish Tiwari demonstrates his culinary creativity with sumptuous ghee-roasted lamb chops which are a must-order from the appetizers. Another standout was the eclectic vegetarian platter featuring delicious pesto paneer tikka and crispy Thai lotus root chips that taste like savory jalebis. The main course that we ordered was not as appealing as the appetizers. The Jaipuri malai kofta tomato curry was poured tableside by the attentive staff and went well with the freshly baked garlic naan but the kofta itself was not memorable. The serrano and lemongrass mocktail tasted like a spicy margarita and was well crafted. The textures of gulab had a stunning presentation but only the small scoop of gulab jamun ice cream was a standout as the rest of the components were mostly for show. It is quite expensive but worth going to once for a special occasion.

When I travel to NY/NJ, I hope for a better tasting Indian food because of larger Indian population and popular destinations. We tried several dishes - peanut masala (was average); tempura cauliflower type veg appetizer (was not good at all - no taste), paneer app (was okay, nothing wow about it), chicken 65 was average too, noorjahan chicken app was good. But a side of chutney would have helped. My colleagues loved the smoked corn soup, but found eating corn cob quite weird. We had some variety of biryani too - veg biryani was good. Chicken biryani was just okay. While mutton biryani was good too. Service was good overall. I could see cocktails had pretty good presentation. Kulfi was liked by most of the colleagues. Moong dal halwa was good and presented differently. Was happy to see Caymus on the wine list, and enjoyed that. Overall good for one time visit.
