Beautiful ambiance complemented by bold and tasty flavors. I give it a 9/10. The service was amazing, too. I accidentally ordered the wrong dish, and the manager noticed the disappointment on my face. He immediately came over to ask what happened. After explaining it was my mistake, he still took the initiative to make it right and had the kitchen prepare the correct dish for me to take home. Definitely will be returning! It's the little act of kindess that results in loyalty forever with your guests ! (No matter how stuffed you get, you HAVE TO HAVE THE ROSE ICE CREAM!!!)

Jinsoy was fine overall, but not really somewhere I feel the need to go back to for the food. It was missing a bit of flavor for me and didn't feel very authentic, especially compared to other Asian spots in the area. I really like spicy food and asked for it spicy, but it honestly wasn't spicy at all, which was a letdown. That said, the menu has a lot of options, so I can see this being a decent place for a birthday or group outing, where people want variety more than authenticity. The ambiance is nice, the service was good, and I did enjoy the cheesecake. Overall, it's more of a vibe and social spot than a place I'd go to specifically for the food.

Originally hearing about this restaurant I was intrigued. It's a fusion restaurant with different types of Asian cuisine. There was Chinese, Mongolian, Thai, and more. I wasn't that into anything I was served. There was plenty leftover and I don't know why but I think it tasted better the next day reheated. At the start, they put cups at the seating but they didn't give us any water which was expected for a sit down restaurant like it. When asked about it, they only had large bottles of water which costed extra. I wasn't a fan of that because in general a business should be able to give free tap water as an option but they didn't. Something to note that's in the menu is that a party of more than 2 automatically has a gratuity of 18% and more than 5 automatically gets 21%. So do keep that in mind for your visit. My group had ordered family style so I don't have many photos of my time there. I did get a snap of their Hong Kong iced tea as I was very curious what made it Hong Kong style. It was a black tea, loads of ball shaped ice that gave it the appearance of lychee so it was a little misleading even to the people next to me, and a lemon slice. I really couldn't tell what was so special about it to call it a Hong Kong iced tea. It wasn't bad but I feel like a homemade or house iced tea would be more fitting title as it's not coming from a pre packaged bottle and it tasted like they made it themselves. I didn't really enjoy my time here so I don't think I can recommend it

First timer, we were looking for fast service since we had a play to attend. They were very accommodating. We were seated immediately without any reservation. The decor is soothing and it was almost full. But the noise was at a min. We ordered our food. I got spicy garlic chicken. He asked if I like spicy food and I said yes. This wasn't too spicy so I practically ate the whole thing. They are very generous with their portion. I took my leftovers home. It was so good as I was packing it up, I was still eating it. You won't be disappointed. Fresh and very tasty food. New Brunswick needed Jinsoy delicious food. You must go and sample it for yourself!

We went on a Sunday night we had made reservations as we had a large group. The decore is nice, service was really good. We ordered bunch of drinks and the best was night in something ((sorry don't remember the name)), we felt food was bit salty or had too much of soy sauce. Is it the best indo Chinese I have doubts on that have had better in Jersey.

This place was so beautiful inside and we loved that it had halal meat served there. Its a Chinese/ Asian cuisine, we ordered a variety of dishes including chicken basil, Mongolian beef, seasome chicken, fried rice, hot and sour soup with chicken and veggie noodles. The soup was amazing spicy and perfect! The best thing was the seasome chicken it was so spicy and flavorful the sauce was perfect. The noodles and Mongolian beef were also some of my favorites from that day perfectly fresh and great flavor. The only complaint would be that the food took a very long time to come and the waiters were not very attentive, we kept runnning out of water and needed to call them over alot. Also the food is pricey and servings aren't to huge maybe two people can eat per chicken dish we tried. The lychee mojito was okay as well.

The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and great attentive service. The food was wonderful and the portions were enough to share. The spice level was palatable and still flavorful. The only complaint is they don't offer free water, which seems like a money grab when serving food that uses lots of salt and spice.

Great place! The halal food is amazing and everything we had for a large party (15 ppl) was tasty. It took a while for them to take our orders (about 40 min after we were seated). And staff put too many chairs on the tables so it was very squished (about 4 chair on one side of a single table). I would highly recommend for the food, but maybe not for a larger party!

We've been coming for 9 or so years and it's extremely consistent in its excellence. Their red curry is so flavorful, their pad see ew is so satisfying and their macadamia nut chicken is wonderful. I don't know that I've ever eaten better Thai food. Edit: well, apparently it's been about 10 years and I forgot I already reviewed this place. Well, it's still just as good!

This restaurant is located in a pretty good spot on Ryders lane where it's easy to get to going north or south, being that left turns are allowed when coming from the south and from the north there's 2 entrances to turn in. Exiting is also not terrible since there's a traffic light to help you make the turns you need to get on the road. The decor is also pretty good. It's a upscale feeling interior. Plenty of parking spots outside. With this said I wondered why it was so dead inside. We had the roti canai which was tasty but too burnt on the outside. My carcinogenic pet peeve. The chicken curry it came with was tasty but too sweet. The pad thai with shrimp tasted pretty good but again it was too sweet. Do people actually want it this way? C'mon let's do better. I understand Thai food is a blend of flavors with one of them being sweet but this was too much. The drunken noodles were delicious but also (to a lesser degree than the pad thai) too sweet. On the bright side they were stir fried well, fresh tasting and the texture of the noodles was good. The service was friendly but forgot our soda order. They told me that next time I can request the sweetness level a little lower. I ordered the drunken noodles with a spicyness level of 2 on a scale of 3 and that was perfect. The stir fry was also fresh and the noodles delicious. The prices are ok. Around 17 a dish which I guess is normal post pandemic. 3.5% cc fee so cash is king to save a few bucks. I would only become a repeat customer if they don't burn or make my food too sweet next time as requested. This is really like a 3.5 star review rounded up because this area is enhanced with much needed diverse dining options.

They automatically add gratuity for that. Are you kidding? Ordered chicken pad thai. There was hardly any chicken, but there was a heck of an amount of tofu. If I wanted a tofu pad thai, that's what i would have ordered. Not too mention, my pad thai noodles were congealed as tho it was cooked prior and refrigerated and then reheated. We finally made it here after exhausting all the nearby restaurants. The restaurant is medium in size, with pale yellow walls and cushy burgundy seats covering the dark brown floors. Framed black and white photos adorn the leftmost wall while the name of the restaurant is on the rightmost wall along with a framed painting. Finally, in the back, you can see the counter, which has a lucky cat and some plants on it, as well as a large painting of pink flowers in a pond behind it all. We ordered the following: Baby oyster omelet, which has pan fried baby oyster omelet with chives- this was delicious. We haven't had this for a while and enjoyed it a lot. Golden fried eggplant, which is lightly fried eggplant with cubes of bell peppers and onions. We all liked this dish a lot, as well. It was nicely fried. Claypot egg noodle, which has pearl noodle with minced pork, shrimp, squid, bean sprout in egg gravy. We've been looking for this entree for a while. Last time Hubs had this was 15 years ago and it was 30 years ago for me. Hubs loved this dish. Basil fish filet, which is stir fried fish filet with bell peppers, onions, basil leave and mushrooms. I thought this looked sweet and sour and was surprised it wasn't. Daughter liked it a lot and was addicted. Hubs was shocked at how flavorful it was. There were plenty of onion and peppers. There is parking in the back of the building but we managed to find a parking space in the front. It's a little tricky parking there but we managed. Service was quick and minimal. Will definitely return to try other items on the menu.

The ambiance is very pleasing and it is also an ideal spot for a date night. Chicken Satay: The grilled chicken skewers came with a cup of peanut dipping sauce. I had a gut instinct that I was going to g to enjoy peanut butter flavored sauce with the chicken because I previously explored a similar chicken entrée at another restaurant. The chicken was tender and juicy. Although I really enjoyed this plate, I would have preferred to have it without the skewers because I don't feel they are necessary. Pineapple Fried Rice: This rice plate was so fulfilling it practically ate like a meal. It included nuts, mixed vegetables, and mini tofu squares. It was well seasoned with the perfect amount of heat. Although I chose "medium" heat, it was still very spicy. For this reason, I am reluctant to make it any spicier. I just had a very negative experience here with my friends that aligns with the other negative…read morereviews. Their management is, at best, misleading and, at worst, scamming. I don't blame the waitstaff at all, as they are very kind, welcoming, and quick, in my experience. First, the food. The quality is fine, but I always find it a red flag when Asian restaurants are run by non-Asian people and there are no Asians in the crowd. "Authentic Korean" is just entirely not true, but I digress. The wings were quite good but expensive, and some of the menu items are absurd. Over $30 for a simple salmon was high to the point where I couldn't even try it to see if it was worth it. The drinks they have available are only high-end costs at mid end quality. I find a $26 New Jersey Riesling elsewhere more interesting than their $30-$56 selections. The soju and sake are insanely marked up and ridiculously priced. The food also takes quite a while to come out, even when they aren't busy at all. Plus, there's an automatic 20% gratuity charge. This didn't bother me, except for the fact that it is not only applied to food but to karaoke rooms. I found this very misleading. People do not expect to pay a 20% service charge on a room booking. This raised the $160/2 hrs to $192, and they refused to budge on this misleading application of the tip. Today, a group of my friends went to the karaoke room. Yesterday, Friday, May 8th, my friend called and they told him it was $55/hr. Today, it was $80/hr. The strange part is, when we said we weren't expecting the high cost, a man (I'm presuming the manager, but I'm not sure) claimed that no one would ever say that, even though a waitress said just minutes before that it was probably the new guy and she was sorry. Then, the man doubled down and said that yesterday, the charge would have been $55 but today (Saturday) it's $80. This makes even less sense to me because, upon checking afterward, the menu clearly says $55 Monday-Thursday, meaning that Friday would be the same cost as Saturday. So he clearly was lying to our faces that yesterday would have been the lower cost. I tried to verify this on the website, but it's so poorly built and disorganized that I can't even find the karaoke cost. I find this business model very confusing. I have no reason not to believe that lying on the phone + not including information on the website is so that people only choose to book the rooms when already inebriated. I would highly recommend avoiding this place. Support authentic (half the price!!) Korean restaurants instead.
