So many dishes and colors and spices and sauces what more can you ask for!

Best Indian food I ever had in my Life, check this hidden Gem out you'll be amazed at the Flavors bursting into your mouth service was great quick and fast. The ambiance is very nice more than enough space and tables for a large group to enjoy. I've been to a few spots down here but hands down this is the best.

I was really surprised with how good all of the food selections were. Super tasty, clean restaurant, fast service, and plenty of parking- what more is there to ask for? Every dish was delicious and I did enjoy the masala soda! I'd come back here if I'm craving Indian food.

Went shopping in Edison, and my boyfriend was raving about this place and wanted me to try it. We went for an early dinner, and the place wasn't that packed for a Saturday yet. Of course, I had to try the Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan combo, which was ok. Drinks were really good; I got the Guava Marry, and he got the Masala Chaas, which I'd never had before and was really good. The Tandoor Chicken was ok; I recommend getting the Masala Onion, which was another first for me to go with the chicken since it gives it a bit more kick, or requesting it to be more spicy. The food overall wasn't spicy at all for those with sensitive palates. They do have a lot of options with the food. The service was great, fast, and prompt.

The entire experience was 5 stars! We were immediately greeted, given a beautiful table and water was on our table in under 5 minutes. The level of customer service here was impeccable to say the least. Our server was also the main host and he was funny and really nice. He was very attentive as well. The room was modern with very detailed mosaic chandeliers, plus an entire mural on the wall that was painted by an artist and the other side of the dining room was the gallery of even more interesting paintings of icons. As an artist, this made me happy and was unexpected! The food was freshly prepared, we took our time to enjoy and eat and the experience was amazing.

Indian lunch at bombay blue in Edison, NJ. We were the only non Indians dining and it was packed. Phenomenal table service, modern artsy ambiance and great food. They'll accommodate your spice level. We did Indian level. Free parking lot.

Great ambiance, top notch service, and amazing menu. Lots of veg as well as non veg options. North Indian speciality. Good was flavorful and spicy and amazing. This place is BYOB. Their non alcoholic drinks were also fantastic. Great spot for a friends gathering, a birthday lunch, but keep in mind it gets busy and a little loud.

Recommend making a reservation if you come here on the weekends- it was open when we came in (around 7PM on a Friday) but it quickly got busy as the night went on. Service was friendly and the staff took time to explain dishes and various spice levels. The highlight of the dishes we got were the Indo-Chinese options- the Hakka noodles and gobi manchurian were excellent. The paneer makhani was nothing to write home about- you can easily find a lot better in the area. I was told the goat dish was also very flavorful. Nice decor and spacious indoor area- I probably wouldn't come back right away given the abundance of Indian options but solid if you are in the area

This restaurant is such a welcoming place! I went the first time in November 2023. I brought a large group of about 14 people and they were easily able to accommodate us with no issues. I returned a few weeks ago with a smaller group and it was the same, great service. Everyone in my party loved the food. I had them modify the Gobhi Manchurian to be vegan and gluten- free and it was amazing! I also got the Aloo Gonhi Masala. I was so full after my appetizer, that I brought it home and had leftovers for two days! I am very pleased to see many vegan and gluten -free options on their menu. If you are either or both, you won't go hungry.

Everything is amazing from good to decor aik dum Jabardast. Appetizers: Tadka Fish Chicken 69 Multani chicken. Main meal: Butter Chicken was the amazing chicken was so fresh and flavorful. Goat Rogan Josh was outstanding it's made of Goat chops. Breads we had chilli garlic naans and Lacha paratha best goes with these curries . Great choice of food from staters to dessert com stop by and try you will love to come again and again.

Solid Indian option. We were in the area and found this place on yelp. It was quite busy on a Saturday night. It's a busy spot but is fairly big so we were seated with no wait. Food came out quickly. Everything was tasty although a little on the salty side. My favorites were: -gobi Manchurian. First time having this so I don't have a benchmark. It's really flavorful and quite spicy -chicken sizzler plate. Also tasty with a generous amount of chicken Everything was good though. Next time I wont order the chilli garlic noodles because that wasn't as good as the Indian dishes. Service is friendly Only complaint is that the gratuity is auto added to the bill but this is not obvious when you go to sign for the check. That shows the space for tip but does not mention that tip has already been paid. It is intentionally deceitful imo

Came here with my family for Diwali dinner, because I heard this was a nice restaurant near Edison. Right away, I really liked the look of the place - it's got really cool, colorful murals all over the walls. I also appreciated the nice large tables as of course my family eats Indian food family style. The food was absolutely fantastic, these guys do all the classic curries right. We had korma chicken, paneer makhani, and palak paneer. The appetizers were also delicious, especially the gobi manchurian, which strikes the right balance of heat and sweet/sour. This place is superb for group dinners and definitely should be visited if you're in the area.

The restaurant was bigger than i expected from the outside, and they even have a banquet room. It's very clean, decorated tastefully. Our waitress was very nice, but didn't completely understand my questions. She did however get someone else who spoke better english. They were so friendly and always smiled from entering to leaving the establishment. No wait for lunch, walked right in, a few people were also dining. It's nice when you see people of all backgrounds enjoying different cultures cuisines. I will definitely be back. Can't wait to try other items from the menu. *id love to have a GF bread/naan selection then that would be a perfect score for me!

We had reservations and were immediately seated even though our full party wasn't there--which was appreciated. Richard was our server, and he was extremely pleasant and helpful. It is BYOB, and there is a liquor store right at the next corner, so very convenient. And there was a decent amount of free on street parking. We ordered some apps --entrees (some ordered seafood boil) others plated meals.. dessert as well. Everyone loved the flavored lemonade. Standouts for me where the crab fries--omg, every bit of a fry in this place was so delicious... from the plain, crab, and sweet potato. They were all prepared perfectly with the right amount of seasoning. My husband was very disappointed in his wings... it seems as though the recipe or chef changed since the last time we were here for the wings and the garlic noodles--they were both very underwhelming. My Canadian King salmon was perfectly medium which I appreciated.. not very seasoned, but I really liked the texture. Some of the party didn't really like how spicy their boil was and with not enough sauce--and their boils are pretty pricey, so that was a bit of a bummer. I heard good things about the dessert, specifically the key lime pie. They were very thoughtful in playing Stevie Wonder's Happy Birthday for our birthday girl.. it was definitely the extended version lol.. but it was really cute. Love the music videos playing on the screen in the center of the room. Also a cute touch. Overall, there were some misses, but I believe the hits were spot on, hence my rating.. I would return to try the rest of the menu.

It definitely delivered, service was awesome, food was amazing, and also the restaurant is absolutely breathtaking. The interior is truly magnificent. We ordered the porterhouse for 2 and the cowboy ribeye. Highly recommend the cowboy ribeye along with the bernaise sauce and horseradish cream. We also ordered the thick cut bacon, Caesar salad, shrimp cocktail, cream spinach, truffle Fries and Mac n cheese. Thought the thick cut bacon was too fatty, but everything else was very good. Def not the best fries but solid nonetheless. Would definitely recommend and will be going back

I'd say we were successful in that regard, and this is probably one of the top two places I've been now in town, along with Garlic Rose. Even if you didn't have access to the menu, this just LOOKS like an upper-class steakhouse - lots of darker interior colors with deliberate use of lighting almost like the aisles in a movie theater. We did the responsible thing and made 6:30pm reservations, though the restaurant was relatively empty when we first got there (it filled up for sure during our dinner). We were immediately seated and attended to, which was a pleasant recurring theme for our experience. On the booze front, we each got an Old Fashioned, which was specifically cited on the cocktail menu, and a bottle of Daou Cab Sauvignon to share (I let my chum take the lead on that selection, which I think was influenced by the strong reviews on the Vivino app - a recommend if you're into that sort of thing). The Old-Fashioned was decent; I'm always pleased when the de facto bourbon is Angel's Envy. I'm not crazy about vermouth, which I always think gives off shoe leather vibes, but I did like the smoky profile on this one. Not bad at all, but I liked the bottle of wine better. We decided to split the Grilled Octopus app, which came with seasoned potatoes, olives and tomatoes. This was arguably the weakest part of the meal. The octopus was a little tough/rubbery and the accompanying potatoes to me were very much needed and better, frankly, than the designated star of the show here. I'm not an olive person but my chum's comment there was they were too overwhelming, taste-wise. Noted. We also got a side of parmesan truffle garlic steak fries, which I didn't have too many of because I was distracted by all of the other options on the table, but would totally get again. For entrees, it felt morally proper to hit up the cattle (when in Rome). I went with the Braised Short Ribs, which is one of my go-tos if it's on the menu. Pretty good - VERY tender and literally falling off the bone. I'd say about 20% of it was too fatty for me, and I pawned that section off on my chum, but the other 80% was primo. She got the Filet Mignon Oscar style (which my computer wanted to autocorrect to Oscars, thinking it was the umpteenth time I was typing something about the Academy Awards), and was very pleased by it. Not mindblowingly amazing but solidly above average across the board. I'm not sure why we ordered dessert at this point other than to ensure I had something else to munch on the following day, but we did that too. I got the Cheesecake w/ Marionberry Compote. This was just okay for me. Taste-wise, the cheesecake seemed a little off for my palate; maybe a little too tart? It didn't seem as milky as other cheesecakes, which doesn't necessarily mean it was bad, but wasn't my kind of cheesecake. The compote was also just okay, both in the moment and as a leftover the following day. Maybe I'm just used to getting this dessert with strawberries and compotes that are similar to that type of fruit, but I just didn't think the compote and cake meshed as well. Debatable though. There's room for improvement but this is a strong entry in the Cranford gastro scene, such as it is.

The seafood is extremely fresh, the broths are rich and flavorful, and the selection of small dishes is huge. There are tons of options for sides, appetizers, and even BBQ items before the meal. The dessert selection is also impressive. One thing I hope they can improve is the ice jelly (冰粉). The current red version tastes a bit like Jell-O, which feels a little off compared to authentic Chongqing ice jelly -- would love to see a more traditional texture and flavor in the future. My personal must-haves here are the lobster, crayfish, beef tripe, and pork aorta (黄喉) -- always fresh, always delicious. Overall, amazing quality, super fresh seafood, and great variety. There is such a large selection of seafood to choose from, for the price of $63.99 per person, it is not bad especially considering how much seafood and meat costs. Ordering is easy as each table has their own tablet to place orders but my only gripe was that staff need to enter a code before you can submit to the kitchen. Drinks are self service and you can get as many as you like, from sodas, water, soy milk, green tea. There is also a sauce bar that is kept very clean. Decor is amazing as staff informed me that the paintings on the walls were hand painted by an artist from China. For every 2 people, you get an option of a lobster or another type of seafood. Seafood options range from mussels to class and even razor clams. Plenty of meat and veggie options as well. Although this is supposed to be a hotpot and bbq restaurant, hotpot is the only thing available as the restaurant does not have the proper ventilation installed for the bbq grills, although the grills are right next to the hotpot. That's unfortunate as I was looking forward to grilling some of the seafood. For dessert, they had durian which I tried for the first time. It was super creamy and sweet! I've been missing out this whole time! Overall, our entire experience was great and I would definitely return.

What Thai food dreams are made of…read more I first got hooked on Thai food about 20 years ago--grabbing takeout from random food carts and a tiny Midtown spot called Rain. One bite in, I was done for. Since then, it's basically a rule: if I see a Thai restaurant, I'm stopping. Over time I've graduated beyond pad Thai (growth), and I'm always on the hunt for the next standout dish. This past weekend, I found a hidden gem. And I mean hidden. Don't let the exterior fool you--it looks like the new owners took over a long-retired diner that last saw its glory days sometime around the Reagan administration. Inside doesn't do much to change your expectations either... very "vintage 80s diner chic," and not in the trendy way. Then you're greeted by a kid who looks like he's juggling high school algebra homework while simultaneously bussing tables, taking orders, running food, pouring drinks, and working the register. Absolute Swiss Army knife. Honestly, I've been to fully staffed restaurants that don't run half as efficiently. Now the food--this is where things get serious. I usually start with papaya salad, but I saw they offered soft shell crab for an extra $3 and thought, "say less." The crabs came out perfectly fried--crispy, not greasy--two generous pieces sitting on top of a bright mango salad with a light vinaigrette. Ridiculously good. For mains, I went with my usual benchmarks: beef pad see ew and duck in red curry. Both delivered. The pad see ew had a solid portion of Chinese broccoli, noodles cooked just right, and that perfect balance of savory flavor. The red duck curry? Rich, fragrant, and the kind of dish that reminds you why you fell in love with Thai food in the first place. No exaggeration--these might be the best versions of both dishes I've had in 20 years of eating Thai. And I don't say that lightly. I was just in Vegas and went off-strip to try a highly recommended Thai spot... this place beats it, easily. My wife agreed, and she doesn't hand out food compliments like participation trophies. At that point, we figured dessert was mandatory because clearly this place refuses to miss. Mango sticky rice came out and--shocking--also excellent. Sweet, balanced, and a perfect finish. Total bill was around $100, including a large Thai iced tea (also on point). Bottom line: this family knows exactly what they're doing. If they keep this up, they won't be "hidden" for long--they'll be packed with repeat customers who, like me, came for curiosity and left planning their next visit.

The tom yum soup, personally a miss, something about the smell of it was off which affected my taste. The roti in the roti thai style was really good and flaky, but the massaman curry was too thick. Drunken noodles were well made, and I had asked for spicy which the waitress gave us a warning that I might be "too much." However, it was quite the opposite and a bit below the spice level I was expecting. Also, felt like if you were ordering outside of their lunch special, the food is a bit expensive for what you get.

While both were great, the meatballs were the clear winner, served hot in a small cast iron skillet. Moving to the main course, the pasta ragu was another hit. It had a bit of a peppery undertone, but wasn't spicy, just a wonderful blend of spices that gave it a unique flavor. For dessert, I had an apple-based dish that was a special that night.
