    Roasted Papad/ 2 Pcs

This place is such a staple of good Indian cuisine in the Indianest town ever. Unfortunately, we didn't realize the buffet is for lunch only (definately will check that out next time I go). The dinner was a la carte (still amazing food). The service was super quick (the waiter is definitely watching like a hawk). Papad was brought for the table which was nice. We ordered the Paneer Pakoras as our appetizer. The Paneer Pakoras were delicious. There was chutney in the middle of the paneer pieces and it was fried very well. For our main course we got the Rasoi Platters. Our non Indian selves also got a naan assortment. Basically it made no sense to have a naan assortment when the rasoi platter was basically dry pieces of meat. The naan I ended up saving to use with curry I made at home. The naan assortment was pretty cool and awesome to get if you have a chance. I didn't realize there were so many things naan could be stuffed with. The naan types included paneer naan, chilli naan, keema (lamb) naan, and Kashmiri naan. I really found the Kashmiri naan interesting. I have never had sweet naan before (it does have fennel seeds and tastes like the mints you eat when you leave an Indian restaurant). The Rasoi Platter was a lot of food. It's basically a selection of dry meats/seafood on a platter (Tandoori Khazana). We had 2 types of meat and 2 fish that were marinated and processed in a clay pot. I was very disappointed in the amount of seafood vs chicken. There was only one tandoori shrimp so I was unable to even try it out.

Was highly recommended to eat the buffet at this location. The restaurant had few customers when we walked in around 11:20 am but that changed rapidly. So many started crowding into the restaurant within an hour. There were several tables that could sufficiently handle a large crowd. We were able to easily fill our plates 3-4 times before the crowd started effecting our pace. Their chicken and paneer stood out above the rest. The rest of their selection was delicious but not stellar. The waiters were quick to clear our empty plates and deliver us water and mango lassi. Overall cost was soo cheap for the meal we ate.

The place has good ambiance. The service is good. However when it comes to food and believes me it tastes delicious, great presentations, however, I suspect there is some contamination in the kitchen. Every time I try their daal tadka I get allergic reaction the one I used to get from shrimp. So probably oil or something coz it has now happened twice.

I went there for lunch today and was highly satisfied. The food was fresh and extremely flavorful. The staff was very friendly and professional. I even appreciated their fully stocked bar which had a very nice variety to choose from. I'd definitely return and suggest this to others.

The buffet is good over the weekends. They have a big spread of veg and non veg dishes. The staff is friendly and co-operative . It gets but filled up around 1 pm . If more people sit good to reserve and go.

May family and I love eating here because the food is really good. We get the usual Chicken lollipops for appetizers (they were spicy, but so good). The tandoori chicke for appetizers was juicy and cooked to perfection. Not dry. Very flavorful. For main course we ordered the tandoori butter chicken, goat Bhhuna and goat Briyani. Last time we had the chicken Briyani and in comparison to the goat, I would recommend the chicken. They are both good but the goat pieces were too big to eat in a rice dish. The naan and tandoori roti were perfect as well.

This restaurant don't need much attention as it's a one time go or an optional in your list The food quality and quantity both are overrated. Tried cut mirchi, katori chaat, paneer malai mutter and Garlic naan. None were having any good taste. Cut mirchi wasn't having filling Kaatori chaat didn't had key ingredients such as potato so only damn thing you taste is onion and tomatoes Paneer malai mutter again key ingredient paneer was missing Garlic naan was soggy so not worth it Management please improve your food quality

The tomato onion based curry lacked salt and spice and the actual soya pieces were too soft and mushy in texture. Wish these were a bit more dense as experienced in other restaurants. Roomali Roti- drown in ghee and it must have sat over a gas flame because it tasted of bad chemicals. Basically like eating the ghee-soaked cotton swabs from the candles at the local temple. The person who services us was very kind and helpful with the selections. I went here for lunch with some of our friends and family and after having had a heavy home breakfast and hence didn't have an appetite for the Thali meals. That's the same reason I didn't click a lot of pics like I would usually do. The vegetable biryani, SPDP chaat and puris with aloo subzi came in no time from the time we ordered. As much as the food was tasty I found them bit salty and the subzi little oily - this coming from a salt lover who tends to add salt to anything he eats, you can trust me. Overall a good restaurant serving quality food and with ample parking space (weekend parking story could be little different).

The saag was flavorful, though the roti seemed to be a mix of besan and makki (cannot confirm this though). The Dahi Puri was okayish, but little bit too dry. Hence, won't recommend this dish. Many guests were turned away because of the inaccurate closing time listed online. I recommend calling ahead to confirm before visiting.

When entering from Grove Ave, it's easy to be a little bit confused because the restaurant is stuck in the corner behind what used to be Stop n Shop and such. The shopping center is certainly very empty without the anchor grocery store, so it's often quite easy to miss this. Knowing that the restaurant opens dinner service around 6, we got here just before then and realized that the staff was already accepting people beforehand. That was great. As my girl is from Goa, this was a place that was on her mind for some time to try. Likewise, I wanted to try some authentic Maharastrian food too. To start, we ordered a mango lassi & a Kaira Panha. I stuck with the former, which was great. My girl enjoyed her drink too, though def not my first preference. For an appetizer, we ordered the Kothimbir Wadi. This was quite tasty and well enjoyed with the chutney. Certainly authentic. For the main meal, my girl enjoyed her fish fry. I got the Veg. Kohlapuri along with Garlic Naan. The Kohlapuri was good and was easily able to finish it. The only small gripe we had was that the tomato-based curry kinda reminded me of a North Indian korma that you'd get from other establishments. My girl noted this and do wonder whether this is truly the proper way of making and enjoying a Vegetarian Kohlapuri. She noted it was meant to not have a tomato base and was supposed to be a bit more flavorful. As this was my first time, I'm not sure if I can fully validate this, but it's worth a question. Nonetheless, I can't complain about the food. Just simply a curiosity on my end.

Nagpuri Saoji - Saoji Chicken curry

Saoji is a fiery, deeply spiced, mostly non-vegetarian cuisine said to have originated with the…read moreHalba Koshti weaver community of Madhya Pradesh. When the community migrated to Nagpur in 1877, their food followed -- spreading through the tradesfolk and mill workers who embraced its bold flavors. Today, Saoji is considered the signature cuisine of Nagpur: intensely spiced, unapologetically hot, and built around powerful, roasted masalas. Tonight we ate at Nagpuri Saoji in Voorhees (they also have a location in Iselin), and these two spots are reportedly the only places in the U.S. where you can experience this cuisine in its full, blazing glory. To Start We began with sabudana vada -- the classic Maharashtrian fritter made from tapioca pearls, mashed potatoes, peanuts, and spices. Served piping hot and impossibly crisp outside with a tender interior, they came with two chutneys and were absolutely sublime. Alongside that was goat sukka, a dry-style mutton preparation associated with the Mangalore and Udupi regions, with spice influences tracing back to Goa and even Arab and Turkish traders. Coriander, fennel, cumin, black peppercorns, and fenugreek give it depth and warmth. It was bold, savory, and incredibly flavorful. The Curries I ordered chicken kala masala curry, and it was deeply earthy, nutty, and robustly savory. "Kala" means "black" in Marathi -- referring both to the color and to the roasted spice blend itself. Cumin, coriander, cloves, cinnamon, stone flower, coconut, sesame seeds, and chillies are roasted and ground into a dark, complex masala that lingers beautifully on the palate. We also ordered Goat Handi, with tender meat in a velvety, aromatic gravy, and a Malwani goat curry, made with Malvani masala from the Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra -- a spice blend that balances heat with coastal warmth and depth. Rice, plain naan, and indulgent Amul cheese naan rounded out the meal. Dessert We finished with Sitafal Rasmalai (custard apple-infused rasmalai) and Jamun Rabdi -- both creamy, fragrant, and perfect against the lingering spice. A Few Notes Like much traditional Asian cooking, the meat dishes are cooked on the bone -- so eat mindfully. And if you request "hot," they mean hot. This is not toned-down spice; this is the real deal. I was thrilled to try dishes from India that I've never made before. Saoji cuisine is bold, unapologetic, and absolutely delicious -- and I'll definitely be adding some of these flavors to my home repertoire. If you have the opportunity to try this cuisine -- do it.

The tarri tasted weird so it ruined the entire dish. Same tarri was present in the misaal too, so this dish was ruined too. Sol kadhi was average. The service was fast and the ambience is okay-ish. Honestly, would not recommend this place for their vegetarian options!
