We went here for lunch and wanted to try their buffet style items. The place wasn't busy on a week day lunch. Food they served was fresh. Their serving staff were helpful and friendly. The place was well decorated and lighting was subtle. Not bright for your eyes. The food is reasonably priced. We hope to be back soon.

This place is just average. Nothing bad about it but I wouldn't go out of my way to pick this place again. I'm glad for the experience to try a sushi buffet but would rather go to an all you can eat sushi place. The place had a ton of tables and everything looked very clean. The food sits out which means it just isn't hot enough. They have a good selection of side dishes but felt the sushi selection was small. It also did not help that some labels by the sushi were missing. The staff came by often to take the empty plates. At the beginning though they did not explain the process so we just assumed there was no menu and everyone got the buffet.

Fruits with eel sushi and crawfish. Super yummy

Was passing through heading to Princeton NJ and spotted this restaurant on the way. Food was great and everyone was friendly with smiles. Of course another place where I could not stop myself from eating and I lived every minute. Please come by and enjoy their foods. Super yummy

Sakura Sushi & Grill Seafood Buffet in North Brunswick, NJ is a nice sushi buffet location. They have all types of sushi and sashimi, as well as a nice selection of soups, lo mein, chicken, French Fries, desserts, almost everything you could think of. The sushi chefs keep the sushi flowing, and the atmosphere is very pretty. It's a great option for families with choosy kids. There is a surcharge for wasted food, so it's best not to overfill your plate, just take what you'd like, then get some more. I definitely enjoyed our meal and look forward to going back.

I'd consider this a pretty good Asian lunch buffet in the area. I've been a few times now and service is consistent every time, food always taste fresh, they have a great selection of AYCE sushi and ambiance is quite nice for a buffet. I think just based off their sushi selection alone, the price is worth it. They have a variety of options for pescatarians and even a decent selection for any vegetarians as well. I'd recommend!

Sakura has become the go-to buffet when visiting family in that area and everyone has a different food craving. Sakura offers a variety of food from shellfish, baked fish, fried fish, sushi, sashimi, cold salads, chinese food, american food, fried foods, steamed foods, soups, lobster claws, pig feet, chicken feet, wontons, dumplings shumai and salads etc... so if you have a group that can't agree on a specific cuisine, Sakura may be a solid option to satisfy the whole group. We have been here a few times and I have not really experienced any dishes that have been sitting for long. Of course, we do NOT go at the end of the day to finish the scraps. They are constantly refreshing the supply during busy times. The meats are usually tender. The mayonaise shrimp is delicious. The sushi is the best buffet sushi i have experienced. If you are expecting gourmet chef cooked meals this may not be for you, its a buffet. The basic packaged ice cream selections are the best of the dessert section. The pastries are boxed and usually mediocre at best. The staff works hard and is always on top of cleaning your table and filling your drinks. The make an effort to make a dessert plate with a candle for birthday celebrations. They have a nice selection for kids such as nuggets, fries, pizza and mac & cheese but it's pricey for a children's appetite. Definitely return with a group.

So yummy! We've gone here about three times and have always had a great experience. Delicious food & yummy sushi

Very much enjoyed the lunch buffet on a Friday ! Very clean and sanitized inside. Also friendly and helpful staff. To eat form the buffet you just wear a mask and gloves (gloves provided). It literally smelled like they just cleaned which is a plus. Food was tasty for the most part. Most things that I find as my favorite in other places like the cream cheese fried wontons and chicken and broccoli were lacking a bit here. But I can understand since not much people coming, food just sits out. Their sushi on the other hand, great fresh flavor and it melted like butter. I've been wanting to try this place for a while and I'm happy they didn't disappoint.

    Lobster was great

Good selection of hot food too. The service was quite slow even though the restaurant was empty. It took a while for the sushi to arrive, and by that time, we started feeling full from the appetizers. We knew we were not going to get our money's worth tonight. Towards the end of our meal, we started smelling a poopy stench in the air - yes you heard me, POOPY! It made me completely lose my appetite. I'm so done with sushi buffets...never again :(

The menu was a mix of Japanese and Chinese dishes. Unfortunately they missed the mark on both. At some point, halfway through the meal I thought to myself, wow these flavors are way off, do they even know how to cook or know the flavors that the customers are looking for. (Why would you put wasabi in the bbq squid that comes with teriyaki sauce), to order hibachi you need to order everything separately. The service was kind and attentive but very disorganized even though it was only 2 tables being served. Do NOT order the all-you- can-eat, waste of money, too expensive for the quality and flavor combinations. Only get it if you just want to shovel food down your gastronomical hole. Hate doing poor reviews!!! This is only meant for the owners/managers to take note and fix it all, and create value for the customer.

We've been coming for 9 or so years and it's extremely consistent in its excellence. Their red curry is so flavorful, their pad see ew is so satisfying and their macadamia nut chicken is wonderful. This restaurant is located in a pretty good spot on Ryders lane where it's easy to get to going north or south, being that left turns are allowed when coming from the south and from the north there's 2 entrances to turn in. Exiting is also not terrible since there's a traffic light to help you make the turns you need to get on the road. The decor is also pretty good. It's a upscale feeling interior. Plenty of parking spots outside. With this said I wondered why it was so dead inside. We had the roti canai which was tasty but too burnt on the outside. My carcinogenic pet peeve. The chicken curry it came with was tasty but too sweet. The pad thai with shrimp tasted pretty good but again it was too sweet. Do people actually want it this way? C'mon let's do better. I understand Thai food is a blend of flavors with one of them being sweet but this was too much. The drunken noodles were delicious but also (to a lesser degree than the pad thai) too sweet. On the bright side they were stir fried well, fresh tasting and the texture of the noodles was good. The service was friendly but forgot our soda order. They told me that next time I can request the sweetness level a little lower. I ordered the drunken noodles with a spicyness level of 2 on a scale of 3 and that was perfect. The stir fry was also fresh and the noodles delicious. The prices are ok. Around 17 a dish which I guess is normal post pandemic. 3.5% cc fee so cash is king to save a few bucks. I would only become a repeat customer if they don't burn or make my food too sweet next time as requested. This is really like a 3.5 star review rounded up because this area is enhanced with much needed diverse dining options.
