We saw The Landing's cute outdoor seating area from the road during a drive last week, so we decided to try it out this Wednesday evening. The ambience and layout of the place is cool, but everything else was 'decent'. The cheese ball in the Burrata Caprese was the smallest Burrata that we've ever been served. The cheese/salad/bread all tasted fine, but the size of the ball was laughable. For both of the burgers, the presentation really needs some work, and the style/format of the toppings was very odd. Both burger patties had a uniform flatness around the edge, they seemed like pre-formed patties that are bought in bulk (possibly frozen). The Bleu Bacon & Apple burger comes with Gorgonzola cheese (despite Bleu in the name) - so I was expecting the typical layer of Gorgonzola crumbles that are melted into the top of the patty... but this burger came out with a layer of large cheese chunks (like the cheese cubes you would be served on a charcuterie board). The apple topping was also laid out in unexpectedly large chunks over the cheese cubes (it seemed like a chunky version of applesauce). The Landing Burger didn't come out with the listed chipotle aioli, and both of our french fries were overdone - I usually don't mind toasty brown fries, but these were a bit too hard for me to look past the crispiness. The Blue Coastal gimlet and the Creamsickle margarita drinks were decent as far as taste, but the presentation could use some work (mainly for the gimlet - it looked a bit amateur with a dusty-looking lime wedge on the rim, and with the bright blue colored liquid not being filled closer to the brim). Nothing was necessarily "bad" - but several different areas could really use some work for the food/drink quality to match the nice atmosphere of this spot. read more

Ate outside and just finished up as heavy rain fell, staff was really quick moving people inside. Chose 2 craft beers and both were out, server seemed very unsure about simple questions about menu. The food is very mid, both in presentation and taste. Food runners will have their thumb on your plate, fyi. I like the downstairs bar, a bit loud. This is decidedly one of those places where parents go to eat and let their kids run amok, so that's the vibe. read more

Stopped here for a late lunch on a Sunday at the pub. Our server April was lovely. We usually start our orders with some tap water,but that was no bueno (strong chlorine after taste) so would recommend skipping it and order drinks instead-which we did,my spouse got himself an APA and I decided to try a non-alcoholic "Smoky Paloma" - delicious! Our food order consisted of Mexican Street Steak tacos (with fries incl.on a side) and The Landing Burger-both were delicious,though we wish the food had less salt overall-everything,including the fries,were very salty! Ambiance is typical for a pub located in a basement-a tad cold inside,but come to a pub for drinks so wouldn't feel it,I guess :) overall,happy with our visit and would be curious to come back and try other items from their impressively wide selection on the menu. read more

I've been here many times now. It's a casual atmosphere and kid friendly. It is wheelchair and handicapped accessible. ( not sure about the pub.) It can be a bit confusing because you have a Pub located on the lower level in one building, and you have to walk down a flight of stairs to get to the pub. Next door is an entry for their private dining room with a fireplace, and then across the way they have an outdoor patio for dining. You can have parties here, My suggestion is they need to put signs outside directing customers where to go. There is a large free parking lot with some handicapped parking spaces close to the outdoor seating. With that being said, The Landing has a wonderful summer special every "THURSDAY ONLY" for Prime Rib Dinner which is 3 courses. You get a choice of soup or salad, your prime rib dinner, and dessert. I managed to come here two Thursday's in a row because I really enjoyed my Prime Rib Dinner. You can get this dinner sitting outside on their patio or in the pub restaurant. They have a standard cut, a queen's cut, and a king's cut. I chose their Queen Cut the first time and their King Cut the second time. The Queen cut was a perfect size for me. My boyfriend cleaned his plate he loved his prime rib dinner. I started off with their Caesar Salad. I was so amazed at how big it was, enough for two people. The Caesar Salad had lots of flavor and fresh croutons. I only ate half because I didn't want to fill up on It. My boyfriend chose their House Salad and it too was very large and looked good. My prime rib was cooked perfectly med-rare and it was served with creamy mashed potatoes, and grilled asparagus. On the side came a creamy horseradish sauce. Instead of a basic au jus they served a wonderful red wine reduction sauce which contributed to the overall flavor. For Dessert I had a choice of Mango Sorbet with Mixed Berries, Vanilla, or Chocolate Ice Cream. The first time I chose their Vanilla ice cream and asked if they could put Chocolate Syrup on it which they did. The second time I tried their Mango Sorbet with Mixed Berries, and that was the perfect ending. This past weekend, I went back again. For starters I tried their Duck Thai Chili Wings. They were outstanding with their hot and sweet sauce. I like to sit at the bar. My bartender John is a wonderful bartender and he recommended their Smokehouse BBQ Burger. It was large and had Cheddar, Frizzled Onions, Bacon, and Honey BBQ Sauce on it. It also came with Fries. He was so right this bbq bacon, onion cheese burger was very tasty. I only ate half, it was very filling. The Landing serves up wonderful Signature Cocktails, and they have Seasonal Cocktails too. I tried their Blueberry Bee's Knees Cocktail and their Passionfruit Martini. Both were great. They also have a good selection of aged Bourbon's and Tequila's. My boyfriend had me try their Blanton Bourbon. It was so smooth and delicious I can see why it's so special. The Landing can accommodate up to 120 people for an event with beautiful grounds that has that outdoor country feel. ( great for parties, corporate events or weddings.) They can also do intimate parties from 10-30 people. The Landing has a new Bocce Court. They have Trivia every Wednesday Night starting at 7pm. On Thursday's they have Bingo starting at 7pm. (It can get a bit loud in the pub.) Wednesday- Saturday 3-6pm is Happy Hour. All Day Happy Hour on Sundays, Brunch is served 12-3pm. $12 Lunch Specials Wednesday- Saturday 12-3pm. Didn't bother to order, as after reading the menu, nearly everything is cooked in beef tallow. Vegetarians... BEWARE.

This is one of my brother & wife's favorite places to grab a bite to eat. Easy relaxed bar setting with a few tvs around. Not sure about the rest of the layout of the restaurant but I do recommend the bar area. The server was super friendly and quick. We started with the charcuterie board and the whipped ricotta was the table favorite. I went with the short rib quesadilla and it was INCREDIBLE. The grilled pineapple salsa and cilantro crema was stuffed to the brim with the most tender, tasty short rib ever. It blew me away. It was a hefty dish, but I was able to have some of It for the next day, and was still just as good. I'll certainly be back when I'm in town. read more

Went with wife last Saturday around 6 pm. Sign said Oktoberfest. They had bratwurst, with kraut, German potato salad, very traditional and good. A full menu of Oktoberfest items. My husband and I had lunch yesterday at this place. Food was okay. Service was bad. Spencer,our waiter had an attitude beyond believe. It seemed like he hated his job. We had to wait 30 minutes before he came to our table to take our order and another 45 minutes to get our food. Really unacceptable. The place was not busy, so no excuse for ignoring customers. I visited the landing to have a late lunch with my wife and I walked out with a full belly and not so empty wallet. We came around 1pm and went down to the pub since the patio wasn't open yet. It was a bit dark down there but clean and there were sports in all the TVs around the pub which made for a great environment. We were greeted promptly and given our pick of a table to sit at by the hostess, there were plenty of places to choose from since it wasn't super packed. We sat down and took a look at the menu and I was very surprised at how large it was. That being said, I was slightly concerned that the food may not be that good, but boy was I wrong! We chose to get two appetizers, the brats in a blanket and the brezel with the apricot moonshine bbq ribs and a BLT that was on special for the day. Without a doubt, the food was some of the best I've had out in a while. The pub cheese that came with the brezel was delicious and not overloaded with peppers/veggies, the brats in a blanket were crispy and flavorful and the ribs were cooked so well the meat fell off the bone with ease. I can't wait to come back and try some other things from the menu next time, this was a very exciting first experience here! read more

I came back for another visit and had the pleasure to sit outside due to the current circumstances. The outside was nicely decorated. The brats in a blanket ($9.50) and pub pickles ($9) were ordered as appetizers. The pastry was extremely crispy and the brat was cooked appropriately. The Dijon mustard that was provided was pleasant as well. The pickles were beer battered with chipotle aioli. The breading appeared to have some of that chipotle aioli present, which gave off a slight kick. Besides that, the breading was a little plain, but the aioli made up for that. I had the short rib cheesesteak for dinner ($16). It consisted of shredded short rib, caramelized onions, pepper jack cheese and garlic aioli on Texas toast. It also came with fries, but they were decent at best. They were not cooked enough. The cheesesteak was stuffed with all the fillings. The toast was very buttery and had plenty of garlic aioli while the short rib was tender and flavorful. For dessert, the pumpkin tartufo ($8) was ordered. I have never seen this before so I was very intrigued to try it. There was an almond biscotti center with whipped cream and salted caramel sauce. This was outstanding. The pumpkin ice cream combined with the chocolate shell and the almond biscotti center was a very appealing touch. The salted caramel sauce just added to the already refreshing plate. read more

First time here and was a great time! Food came out super quick! Not to mention the staff is super friendly and easy going. Nice selection of craft beers if you're into that. so many things to try- a must come back. The pub is a great vibe with tvs for the boys but great cocktails for the ladies. Met a friend there on a Wednesday at about 5:30. We were impressed with the selections of draft beers. Mostly from NJ and NY breweries. We did a flight of beers so we could decide which ones we liked the best. Highly recommend going this route. We had some fries and calamari to start with - both were good but not unlike many other restaurants. We later had a margarita pizza and it was one of the best I've had. Thin crust, crispy with just the right amount of sauce, basil and cheese. The decor was nice and cozy and by the time we left the entire place was full since it was trivia night. Went here for an event. The service was average, the bar was good, the location and outside seating was good. The food was not good. I had the ribs, they were old and dry and were bathed in bbq sauce to try and hide this. Found this place on Yelp while in the area and was not disappointed. The staff was so helpful and polite. We sat outside because of covid guidelines. We ordered the fried calamaries which were good. My nephew had the hot Nashville chicken sandwich and he loved it, my other nephew had buffalo wings and Thai chili wings and they were awesome. I tried one and loved it. very meaty. My sister had a burger and she said her burger was great. We didn't have any dessert but we did have appetizers. Some more wings and calamari, they were both good. During the pandemic, we ordered take out (via phone). I admit I wasn't 100% sure how pickup would go so I called as I arrived to ask. I redownloaded Yelp just to post this. 29 year old man who has had many bad meals in his life, but this one was ridiculous. DO NOT ORDER TAKE OUT. We spent $75 and got a salad which was quite literally a hand of lettuce and a peach for $18 (dressing was sitting in the holder so long it separated), burnt Brussels sprouts for $10, and a dry chicken sandwich. The epitome of the type of restaurant that just throws anything into a bag for people ordering out because they won't need to hear their complaints. Horrible horrible horrible. This is a retro review. I have not been here since before the pandemic but realized my error in not reviewing. My husband and I had Thanksgiving Day reservations here in 2019. We had decided with our family to let our children attend the day with their significant other's families and we plan a Saturday After a feast at our home. So on the actual day, it is just the two of us. I had driven past this place many times and thought we'd like to try it. I figured for Thanksgiving they probably "put on their best face" so it would be great. It was not. We each ordered the traditional thanksgiving dinner - turkey (very dry and bland), gravy (watery), and all the fixings. To be perfectly honest - I know the dry turkey was such a turn-off that I don't recall the rest of the food. We each finished with a piece of pie - again - absolutely no flavor - tasted like a frozen pie they popped in the oven. Blech. We have never gone back. Don't plan to try again. read more

YES! After a really bad brunch we were leaving and the 4 of us were hungry and thirsty. Where to go????? So I Yelp'd and this gem showed up! Headed right over.. We were seated by the bar and all of us had full view of the many TV's that had the Sunday games on. We ordered a few moscow mules, and appetizers and it was finally hunger over and thirst quenched. I have been here several times as this is one of the only good places in town. Of the several times I have been there the party size was always accommodated. The servers/bartenders are very attentive and have never messed up my order nor have I even had to wave one down. The drinks are okay, but not the worst.
