Delicious thin sliced brisket with homemade gravy, mashed potatoes and green beans. - A dinner plate featuring sliced beef with gravy, green beans, and a scoop of mashed potatoes topped with a round of bread or potato.

Outstanding diner that never disappoints. In fact, this is one of the top diners in the area for quality and price. The main chef has been here many years and has trained his crew to cook just like him. They always use quality ingredients and make everything from scratch. Diner impressive. Ordered tasty, thin cut brisket as main meal which included mashed potatoes and green beans or choice of other items. Decent garden salad and complimentary Cole slaw. Great, friendly and fast service. I love coming here.

This is my first time coming here. My husband has eaten here before with some friends. The service was so great. Our waiter was so attentive and quick. We asked for their house made Cole slaw and it was so good. I ordered the chicken parm sandwich with fries and my husband got the chefs salad. The servings were huge. The best part was the food. I will definitely be coming back again.

Delicious biscuits and gravy with home-made hot sauce for my eggs - A plate of biscuits and gravy topped with black pepper, served with a side of homemade hot sauce in a small container.

I just moved near this restaurant and am glad to have this gem of a diner in my neighborhood! I got the biscuits and gravy, my first job was at Ihop...so I take my biscuits seriously! Let me tell you, the Golden Corner biscuits are absolutely delicious! My server Heather was attentive, friendly, and spot on with service. Management up front was friendly and welcoming. The space itself is cozy with a small town local vibe. Truly an authentic Jersey diner. Thank you for the delicious food and awesome service, I look forward to visiting often in the future as your new neighbor!

They took a while to seat us and I wish I could say the food was worth the wait but it was okay! Service was very okay.. our server kept running from us. We were a party of 5.

Excellent Saturday breakfast! Service was outstanding very friendly and personable and my coffee cup was never empty. I haven't been here in quite a while and I'm happy I returned. I had 2 eggs over easy with home fries, scrapple, and rye toast. I love scrapple and I'm always happy when I find it on a menu. My friend had the fresh blueberry pancakes and she said they were outstanding and she enjoyed them very much. I'm very happy to update my review for the great food and service!

I've lived in the vicinity of Golden Corner for many years and for some reason have never been here. Today was my first time here and what a gem! This place is a diner but not your typical diner. I'm a stickler for cleanliness when I go out to eat and this place nailed it. I noticed it right away. It's family owned and operated which I love. The food was regular diner food and don't get me wrong it was excellent but it's not about the food it's about the service at this spot. That means everything. The waitress was super nice and friendly and even introduced me to the owner as this was my first time here. Can't remember the waitresses name or owners name but they were very nice. The staff was friendly with keeping your coffee filled and readily available for anything you needed. I like this place and will be back to possibly try lunch or dinner. I'm sure they won't disappoint!

We sat at the bar and were greeted promptly by the bartender even though he was getting slammed. Our cocktails (Makers Mark on the rocks and Tito's up olives) were served promptly. Nicely chilled martini glass. :) Menu is decent size and as you would expect, heavy emphasis on seafood. Wine list is brief (by the glass and bottles) but many food friendly choices of good value. When we went to order some oysters, we were told we needed to put the entire dinner order in at one time. I thought that peculiar, so we took some more time to peruse the menu while we were shooting the breeze. We decided on a dozen oysters. I had the Seaford Special and my friend had the Mussels Bianco. We ordered a bottle of Albarino to have with dinner. The Cape May oysters came out first. Ice cold. Nice and briney. Served with ample horseradish and cocktail sauce. Wish they served a mignonette. Nevertheless, oysters on the mark. Their sesame semolina bread is delicious. No butter needed. The mussels were cooked perfectly. Reminded me of Jacque Pepin's recipe. Lots of flavor but not too much garlic. The Seaford Special was spectacular and awesome value. Lobster tail and very generous portions of clams, calamari, shrimp and scallops served over penne in a light white sauce. The Albarino paired well with both dishes. I finished with a capuccino which was hot and on the mark. Wonderful evening of banter at the bar. Perfect pace, tasty dishes and great service. Cant wait to bring my bride here. Oh. One last thought. This was a Tuesday night and the bar was full as were most tables. They do NOT take reservations so be prepared to have a drink or two at the bar while waiting for a table. Worth the wait! Cheers!

My Favorite Go-To Spot -- Always a 10/10 Experience!…read more I've been to Lukas Seafood & Grille probably four times now, and it's hands down one of my absolute favorite restaurants. Every single visit is consistently amazing -- from the moment you sit down to the last bite of dessert, everything is flawless. Service & Atmosphere: As soon as you're seated, they bring out fresh, cold water and warm bread with olive paste and butter -- it's so good and such a perfect start to the meal. The service here is impeccably fast -- nothing stays on the table for more than five minutes, and every course comes out perfectly timed. The staff is professional, attentive, and genuinely friendly without ever feeling rushed. The atmosphere is beautiful -- cozy lighting, comfortable seating, and their covered outdoor area is a total win. It's warm, inviting, and perfect for evenings when you want that open-air feeling without worrying about the weather. Food: Every dish I've tried here has been fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. We started with the crab cake appetizer -- crispy on the outside, soft and savory inside, served with a creamy sauce and lemon slices. The seafood pasta was packed with mussels, clams, shrimp, and calamari in a rich tomato broth that tasted incredibly fresh and balanced. The chicken entrée with mashed potatoes and asparagus was tender and juicy, topped with a light buttery sauce that tied everything together. Each plate is thoughtfully presented with a decorative flower and herbs -- not edible, but a nice elegant touch that makes the dishes look restaurant-quality in every way. Drinks & Dessert: The drinks and wine here are fantastic! My berry cocktail was refreshing, fruity, and gorgeous -- garnished with mint and fresh strawberries. For dessert, we had the tres leches cake and the crème brûlée. Both were incredible -- the tres leches was creamy, rich, and soaked just right, while the crème brûlée had that perfect caramelized crust and soft, custardy center. Everything at Lukas Seafood & Grille tastes fresh and made with care. The service is fast, the food is phenomenal, and the atmosphere is warm and elegant. Whether you're on a date night, celebrating something special, or just want an amazing dinner -- this place never disappoints.

Wish I caught his name (he had a unique beard, that's all I recall). He was intuitive, brought a to-go box without me even asking, and just a great server. I really enjoyed my grilled shrimp and grits (the shrimp had some crunchy burned spots but it was still very good - I love when places really get grits right and they were terrific. The not-so-good: My drink, the Peach Riesling Mule, was not so great (excessively limey). I will sometimes give a new drink a try and really hate when I have regrets about doing that - this was one of those times. While it was drinkable, I didn't finish my drink. Oddly enough, my friend who got a mocktail said her drink was also excessively limey too - she says she usually really loves that particular drink she chose. (Didn't mention anything to our server, we were just trying to enjoy the time out and didn't want to make a fuss). After dinner and drinks, we both opted for a peanut butter chocolate treat. There was definitely an unexpected, not very pleasant taste to the cake in the layers (we couldn't place the flavoring, but it wasn't peanut butter or chocolate.) I left the dessert unfinished though I did have most of the tiny dessert (kept hoping it would get better as I got towards the bottom). Overall, I loved the service and would recommend the shrimp and grits but I don't know if I would order a dessert or drink again based on my experience.

The sandwich was filled to capacity, and the sauces were a nice combination along with the crispy cheese. The pickles were good and I wish there were even more added. The fried mushroom just tasted like batter without much from the mushroom, which was really the only negative about this. The mac and cheese was made with a homemade cashew cheese. Texturally, it felt like a traditional mac and cheese, but the sauce threw me off a little. It was more plain than anything. Regarding my bowl, I opted for blackened chicken, quinoa, spring mix, bacon, chickpeas, corn, edamame, and a house Greek dressing. This was nicely put together. The chicken was seasoned and cooked ideally while the Greek dressing really brought everything together. I really enjoyed the bacon pieces as well.
