After the last experience, I was determined not to return, but I'm glad I did. The place was quiet, just as it had been before, but this time, the host was kind enough to let us sit at the 4 top since we planned to order several dishes. We did the guac and chips, veggie omelette, bacon jam avocado toast and original pancakes. Plus, the Iced Gingerbread Latte (so glad this is a year round staple!) and the Guava Blueberry Lavender Lemon Spritz. Everything was great and having the space to enjoy it definitely helped! Also, the portion sizes can't be beat. Even for the hungriest clients, taking something home is inevitable!

I've had Brunch by De Martino on my list for a while, and I'm so glad I finally went because it completely surpassed my expectations. The interior is so cute, with a flower bed on the ceiling. The decor and service truly makes it feel like you're at a family member's house--super cozy and welcoming! The food was amazing. For drinks we had the pretty in pink matcha and maple latte, both were delicious! Then we had the Hot Honey Chicken and Waffles; the chicken was juicy yet crispy with so much flavor. This is a must-have dish! We also tried the Dubai Chocolate Pancakes. The rich chocolate perfectly balanced the creaminess of their homemade pistachio butter and cream. I don't know how they do it, but the sweetness was just right and not at all overpowering. Because we couldn't decide, we also ordered the Blueberry Buttermilk Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, which were a refreshing and delicious combination. Finally, we had the Florentino Benedict. It's a great twist on the classic, featuring a unique epazote, walnut, and cotija cheese pesto that paired perfectly with the home fries. I honestly couldn't pick a favorite dish. I'm already planning my next trip back to try the rest of the menu. Run, don't walk, to try Brunch by De Martino!

Phenomenal breakfast spot we discovered traveling from New Jersey up to Connecticut. We were there on a weekday morning and it was bustling. This was some of the best breakfast food I've had in recent memory - everything is good but the Mexican items are super super delicious!!! Service was attentive and friendly - Space is warm and nice vibe. This is actually on my list to revisit the next time I'm in town. Highly recommend!

What a find! Cuban flavor baked into every dish. Everything was made fresh to order. Good sized portions and the menu allows for a variety of diets (vegan, vegetarian, etc). The restaurant is decorated nicely and very clean. The servers are so friendly and welcoming. They helped answer several questions and checked in throughout the meal. We got the short rib empanadas, potato hash with poached eggs, sweet potato hash with poached eggs, Florentino, Cuban sandwiches, the golden glow juice and cafe con leche. Everything was great.

Great brunch spot with BYOB option! Arrived on Sunday around 10:45am. We were told it was about a 60 minute wait and luckily we only had to wait 30ish minutes! Loved every single food option with steak: steak sandwich, steak and eggs, and carne asada omelet. The maple chicken croquettes were also really interesting and good. Savory and sweet! Ambiance is super cute, staff was very helpful. You need to place your food order all at once.

Great food! We enjoyed everything we ate. I had a reservation for a group of 12 and was seated promptly with quick food service. Stayed for about 2 hrs before they asked us to leave for their next reservation because of their Sunday brunch rush. Would come back. Seating deeper inside closer to the kitchen gets hotter than by the window. Street parking. Matcha drinks come unsweetened but they have vanilla syrup sweeteners available. Coffee is fine but unremarkable. Particularly enjoyed the pancakes, especially after all of the savory apps! Sweet and savory options to satisfy most cravings.

Everything was standout. Portions are huge and everything that we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented. We tried a few things and my favorite was the avocado toast topped with bacon onion jam and scrambled eggs. This was the perfect combo of sweet and savory and it really hit the spot. The fried chicken and waffles came with the most decadent and crispy fried chicken. The taquitos were also a hit and were smothered in a delicious slaw and crema. Service was speedy and friendly, and you can tell that this is a well-loved spot in downtown Somerville. I'd totally come back again if in the area.

Such a great brunch spot tucked away in downtown Somerville! They have so many amazing dishes to choose from it was so hard to decide what we wanted. We shared the chicken taquitos and chicken & waffles and SO GOOD! It's such a cute little spot tucked away in downtown Somerville & the service was super quick and helpful!

I enjoyed my visit. Our server was friendly & helpful. I tried the tres leches French toast. Everything tasted fresh and wonderful. I also got to taste my husband's order of carne asada omelette and it was so amazing! Begging for them to sell some mofongo, Puerto Rican pasteles, and flan de queso ;-) I can dream, right? I really would like to come back sometime.

The food taste and plating is just so amazing, mesmerizing and deliciously curated! Their coffee is also superb(just a hint: enjoy the coffee solo so it won't affect the taste if you pair it with a meal) Their service is excellent! Proactive staff on what you need. Ample of seat spacing. Street parking or govt parking lots nearby. Clean and smells good restroom. Highchair seen. Recommended place for your breakfast or brunch! Their menu is a QR scan. 3% surcharge for creditcard use. See images for reference.

We came to Brunch by DeMartino on a Sunday morning around 10am and waited about 40 minutes for a table, which was totally worth it. The vibe was upbeat, and the team kept the line moving smoothly. We started with lattes: matcha, salted caramel, and coconut. All were delicious and thoughtfully made. If you like your drinks on the sweeter side, be sure to ask for sweetener. Food-wise, we shared the guava pancakes and each ordered something different: the carne asada omelette, hash-a-lot with carnitas, and the loxe with salad. Everything was phenomenal, but the carne asada omelette stole the show. It was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. Service was warm and attentive throughout. We really appreciated the manager coming by to check on us. It's those personal touches that elevate the experience. A fantastic brunch spot with standout food, great service, and a welcoming vibe. We'll definitely be back.

Carne Asada Omelet with a side sourdough bread

I visited Brunch by De Martino on a Monday morning, and surprisingly, it was pretty busy for a weekday. As soon as we walked in, we were seated right away. For starters, I ordered the chicken taquitos. They were nice and crispy, but the chicken was dry and lacked flavor. For my entree, I got the carne asada omelette with sourdough toast and a side of bacon. I loved the amount of bacon they give you, crispy, not too salty, and there's barely any fat on it. The omelette itself was okay, I didn't love it. The skirt steak was in some kind of sauce that was a little oily, and it left an acidic feeling in my stomach with each bite. Which has never happened to me. I personally wouldn't order it again, but I would come back to try a different entree and starter. I also tried the grilled chicken sandwich. It was decent, but nothing special. There were pockets of chicken missing. There could've been more chicken, I was mostly biting into bread, sauce, and cheese. Service was great and the space itself is bright and open. My only real complaint was how close the tables are to each other. At one point, the couple next to us had to shift their table to get out of their booth, and I had to do the same on my side. It made things feel a cramped. Overall, I'd revisit, but I would order a different brunch entree next time.

    Do you have outdoor seating?

We will be setting up our outdoor dining very soon.

    Good for kids?

I'm sure well-behaved kiddos would be welcomed here, especially earlier in the night. I can't recall they accommodate for infants or toddlers that need booster chairs, though.

I am planning on taking my gf on a date this Friday. Is this the type of spot for a dinner that says, "thank you so much for being a good woman."?

YES! It's very classy yet comfortable. It's a way to have amazing and 'fancy' food while maintaining a comfortable vibe throughput dinner.

We were the first two in the room, but there ended up being a few very loud parties that also ended up sat in the room with us - totally not the fault of a restaurant for that, but just know that sound carries in the room on the opposite side of the hall from the bar. The vibes of the old house were great though! Once sat, our waitress was alright. She was kind of quiet (especially once the louder groups were in) and not overly friendly, but food and drink delivery was prompt so that was nice. I got a cider and my coworker had a couple of beers. We split the caramel shrimp (very tasty) and I also had the cheddar IPA soup. The soup was good but could have used maybe just a bit more salt for my taste. He wound up getting the pub burger and said it was delicious. I had the BLT and added fried chicken. The chicken wasn't the fried chicken I imagined (not as breaded/crispy) but the sandwich was really good! Overall, it was a neat spot that I'd go back to if I was in town.
