Weeknight dinner at this restaurant, first time. The atmosphere is nice, typical steak house style. We started with wine to match our dinners, the selection is good, nothing great and market priced. The salads were okay, and dressing was too much and drowned the lettuce. The entrees were presented well. The filet ordered medium rare was a fully cooked piece. Oh well, mass produced food on an assembly line kitchen in full view. The planked salmon was well cooked too as picture represents. Server did not ask salmon preparation selection. We each ordered one of the dessert items which are cake or similar in a shot glass with frosting or mousse or some other topping. They were good, again nothing great. No specially prepared sauces for the entrees to make things pop or standout, just basic dinner fare. Our usual Seasons 52 location is in Edison, but we tried the Bridegwater location while we were in the area. We ordered all of our usual dishes that we generally get in Edison - the salmon and trout fish dishes were great, as usual. The pork chop was a little bit overdone and not as juicy. The service was also a bit slow, even though it was a quiet Friday afternoon before the dinner rush even started. Oh, they won't call them "mocktails" for fear of cheapening the experience knowing that the refined palate needs some finesse to fork over cocktail coin for infused soda water. How about Zero APV refreshers so every teetotaler can toast just like the big kids. My grandparents used to call this subtrafuge a "Shirley Temple." For dinner, I opted for the Mac and cheese with bacon added on top, and the All Natural Pepperoni Flatbread. I've been coming to Seasons 52 for years, and it never disappoints! A diverse menu, delicious food and beverages, and consistently wonderful service. I'm gluten free, and Seasons 52 has a great selection of gluten free options. I always choose the tuna tartare as my go-to appetizer, which can be made gluten free upon request. Seasons 52 offers gluten free flatbreads--all of which are incredibly tasty. If I don't opt for a flatbread, I choose the rainbow trout entree, which is served with a dill mustard sauce, potatoes, and broccolini. For this particular special occasion, our group was celebrating a birthday. We had a lovely server named Shannon, who truly went above and beyond! Shannon brought a complimentary dessert and birthday cards to our table to celebrate. Seasons 52 recently added gluten free options to their dessert cup menu: key lime pie, raspberry cannoli cream, and turtle cheesecake. I got the turtle cheesecake, which was to-die for! I also ordered a cappuccino. Lastly, as for ambiance, the seating near the bar is my preference. The atmosphere is nice throughout the restaurant, but it's rather dark and offers less privacy in the general dining area in comparison to the booths in the bar section. I love seasons! Such delicious food! I usually get the salmon, white wine braised chicken or trout. Tonight I got the trout and it was absolutely fantastic. They easily swapped asparagus for green beans as well. The mini desserts are so cute and I loved the carrot cake!! My other table mates got the stuffed mushrooms, Brussels sprouts, hummus, steak salad, and scallops. Everyone was in love with their food. Went to this restaurant with my family. We were greeted politely and quickly seated. The ambiance and inside of this place was very nice, quiet and clean. Our server was especially helpful with us, especially since we weren't sure what some of the menu items were and he explained them to us. Overall, the food was great! Many of the options were also lower in calories than I thought they would have. We ordered the Ahi Tuna Tartare starter and Pesto Chicken Flatbread to start with and share between everyone. Tuna tasted fresh, and the flatbread was cooked perfectly, not overdone. I ordered the Brick Oven Gnocchi. The gnocchi was good, but the dish that it arrived in had a ton of oil inside, like a thick layer of it. The tomatoes and melted cheese in the dish were great when you ate them with the gnocchi, but were pretty salty when you ate them separately. My parents ordered the White Wine Braised Chicken, and the Wood Grilled Crusted Lamb Loin. For the lamb, they said that it was cooked great, and was tender with strong taste and juice. The meal also came with this white-yellow sauce to pair with the food, and worked wonderfully. However, the asparagus in the plate was a bit hard. My parent said that it was slightly hard to bite and chew properly on it. As for the chicken, it was cooked just right and taste was superb, but the size of the meat was a bit small in their opinion. There were a lot of vegetables in the dish that came alongside the chicken. When we asked for the dessert options, our server brought out a "tower" of the sweet treats the restaurant had and explained what each one was. We decided to get one Cookies and Cream dessert, and another one being the Chocolate S'mores flavor. Both were great, but also tasted quite sugary as expected. Still, I've gone to other seasons at lunch and they were never this busy, nor did I feel inclined to write those other times and locations a review. Enrique was wonderful. For it to be so busy, including the bar, he was available to take our orders, drinks and food, and the turnaround was rather quick. The good: we had a reservation and the wait wasn't long at all (glad we had a reservation too - it was packed in there). Great server! Wish I caught his name (he had a unique beard, that's all I recall). He was intuitive, brought a to-go box without me even asking, and just a great server. I really enjoyed my grilled shrimp and grits (the shrimp had some crunchy burned spots but it was still very good - I love when places really get grits right and they were terrific. The not-so-good: My drink, the Peach Riesling Mule, was not so great (excessively limey). I will sometimes give a new drink a try and really hate when I have regrets about doing that - this was one of those times. While it was drinkable, I didn't finish my drink. Oddly enough, my friend who got a mocktail said her drink was also excessively limey too - she says she usually really loves that particular drink she chose. (Didn't mention anything to our server, we were just trying to enjoy the time out and didn't want to make a fuss). After dinner and drinks, we both opted for a peanut butter chocolate treat. There was definitely an unexpected, not very pleasant taste to the cake in the layers (we couldn't place the flavoring, but it wasn't peanut butter or chocolate.) I left the dessert unfinished though I did have most of the tiny dessert (kept hoping it would get better as I got towards the bottom). Stopped in for dinner while I was on a work trip. I decided to sit at the bar because I was by myself. I was greeted by the bartender within minutes and she was very kind and personable. I decided to start with the stuffed mushrooms. They were extremely tasty, though I do wish they had a little bit more of the crab meat in them. For my entrée, I got the fillet medium rare which came with a side of asparagus and mashed potatoes. They did a great job timing the food out, and it came after I finished my appetizer which was appreciated. The steak was cooked beautifully, and the sides were all delicious. This place has earned quite the reputation, and for good reason! Absolutely loved my dining experience here and would highly recommend this location to anyone in the area or to visit any of their other locations if you get the chance. The ambiance inside is very welcoming and intimate, while still feeling lively. The service was absolutely excellent and the manager even came over for a table touch to check on us as well, which was greatly appreciated. The food was just incredible with obvious attention to detail taken in its presentation. We ordered one of their flatbreads and some wine to start while we waited for our entrees: the filet mignon with lobster tail, potatoes, and asparagus as well as the Chilean sea bass. Everything was cooked PERFECTLY, so props to the chefs for their skills. Steak had a great sear and was a nice medium rare (best way to order it), the lobster tail was prepared nicely and was flavorful, and the sea bass was both flaky and melt in your mouth tender. Really stunned by how tasty all of the food was and the price was pretty reasonable for everything we ordered. I came here on a late Friday night , spur of the moment, wanted to grab some dinner with a friend. It was fairly empty so we were seated right away. Hostess at front was not the most friendly upon greeting us and our server was just as unpleasant. The food was worth getting and the drinks were pretty good as well. We ordered a few items to share - stuffed mushrooms, a Cesear salad with shrimp, the sweet potato side dish, lobster bisque soup and a crab cake. My favorite was the sweet potato with pecans!!! Do not skip over this side dish- AMAZING! Drinks- cucumber smash & pineapple Cosmo both were very good. Big negative- the bathroom was disgusting. Seasons 52 is an upper end chain. While I'm sure they try to appeal to many groups, it's great for lunch, business dinners and parties. I've been to four Seasons 52 and the food is consistently good and service highly professional. I've been to Seasons 52 for lunch with friends, business lunches, catching a drink after work, work dinners and two holiday parties. They are a well tuned engine, knowing how to turn out good food with exceptional service. Various dishes are available all day such as a mushroom flatbread, one of my favorites, as well as other flatbreads including pepperoni, Philly cheese steak and Chipotle BBQ shrimp. Appetizers are varies and included Grilled Artichoke and Preserved Lemon Hummus, meatballs and a Tuna Tatar. There's lunch specials that are quite a good value usually having a soup or salad, entree and dessert. The entrees include chicken, fish - trout is exceptional - beef, pork and pasta. Good thing is you can find just about anyone's food dietary preferences include gluten and dairy free. Each item has a calorie counts too. Some items like Mac and cheese are designed for the table. The portions are good sized while the desserts are small and rich. And I've never felt rushed to leave. So why 4 stars rather than 5? The food, while very good, isn't excellent or unique or unusual. However, this evening My husband, myself and my three daughters went there all together to have one last college graduation celebration dinner. Upon being seated, our server, Letty, asked if we were there for a special reason. When we responded yes, my girl (and our whole family) were treated like royalty. Then the manager Rick came over and greeted us and spent a nice amount of time talking to us. Extremely friendly, but not overly intrusive in any way. It wasn't like the restaurant was busy because there were empty tables and I could see the other weight staff or being very attentive to their customers but I guess we just got that one waitress who just did not care or was going through something. Ambiance: Was ok, nothing too interesting/exciting to stand out. I don't know why, but it was giving a mix of Tone down cheesecake factory, and Ruby Tuesday's mixed together. To be honest, I am pretty disappointed in this visit because I had to come a different time where our party was a lot larger and we had our own private section and the service was amazing. I've now had two separate visits to Seasons 52 where the bar service was consistently lacking, which is disappointing given the brand and price point. The first visit, about two months ago, was off-putting enough that it took me a while to return. The bartender was primarily focused on cleaning the bar and doing side work and never checked in or provided basic service. The only reason I received any attention at all was because an on-shift manager happened to be nearby and stepped in after noticing the lack of service. Unfortunately, once he walked away, the situation reverted back. When I asked for water, the bartender appeared visibly annoyed at being interrupted. I also observed her put her hair up without washing her hands afterward, which was concerning. My most recent visit confirmed that the previous experience was not a one-off. Again, the bartenders were preoccupied with side work and chatting among themselves instead of attending to guests. I ordered the gnocchi, which arrived without any silverware or a napkin. When I asked for utensils, the bartender commented, "Sometimes the spoon isn't enough," yet still didn't provide proper cutlery until prompted again. I was also asked if I knew what I wanted to order before ever being given a menu. Given the consistency of these experiences, this appears to be a service standard issue rather than an off night. Seasons 52 positions itself well above casual chains, and this level of inattentive service simply isn't acceptable for a restaurant of this caliber. I hope management takes a closer look at bar service expectations, as this has now happened more than once. read more

Lighting was perfectly dim and not too bright. Little loud but I didn't mind at all my voice was a little strained since I too had to speak louder to make up the difference. Service was okay. Drinks came out right away but then they didn't come around for apps until til we were asking for a refill on drinks. All the food was good- not knock your socks off great but good! The food wasn't brought to us hot hot but little hotter than warm. The margaritas and LI iced tea were way too sweet and we were told they were made in batches so wouldn't be able to change that so I ended up ordering a Prosecco and cut the sweetness with that. Overall pretty solid place. I liked it! Reasonable price point so I could overlook some of the issues with food, drink, and service now if it were a 5 star review with some of these issues and I paid twice as much I probably wouldn't go back but I'd frequent this place. read more

For my Entree I ordered their Caramelized Grilled Sea Scallops- comes with Risotto and Broccolini. The scallops were cooked perfectly and very tender. The risotto had tons of flavor, and the broccolini was delicious. My friend ordered Wood Grilled Kona Crusted Lamb Loin- It came with roasted asparagus, Yukon mash, and herb butter. My friend thoroughly enjoyed her meal. My other friend ordered Cedar Plank-Roasted Salmon-Norwegian salmon, French green beans, Marble potatoes, Dill-mustard sauce. My wife and I came here because we received a gift card for Christmas. It was very busy on a Saturday night. Had we not had a reservation, it would have been over two hour wait for a table. Thank goodness for OpenTable. My wife enjoyed the Banfi Chianti while I had the Acquisition Cabernet Sauvignon. We started with the lump crab and shrimp-stuffed mushrooms. They were excellent though be careful if you order them, they come out very hot temperature wise. For an entree, my wife had the brick-oven gnocchi. She added the lemon skewered shrimp. I had the filet mignon (6oz, medium rare) and lobster tail. I chose to add the caramelized sea scallops to my meal. The fillet melted in my mouth. The lobster tail was a good size as an accompaniment for the fillet. For dessert, we ordered an oatmeal cookie dessert and a cookies and cream dessert. I have been to this restaurant in the Bridgewater Mall complex many times and have been happy every time. The decor is sleek and sophisticated, and we were easily able to take my wheelchair bound father-in-law there on Saturdays for his escape lunch from his assisted living facility. They have interesting seasonal cocktails and beers on tap. The menu also has interesting seasonal items, and there are always several interesting choices. Service is professional and efficient. We have had the crab cakes, the flatbreads, the lobster bisque, the watermelon salad, the naked burger, the fish tacos, and our favorite, the brook trout. Then we followed up with cappuccinos and espressos and the amusing mini indulgences. This restaurant never disappoints. They also have several beautiful rooms for private parties with set menus. During lunch time they offer "pairings" $12.50 for a flatbread and soup or salad combo - sounded perfect to me. I ordered the Chicken Tortilla Soup and the Garlic Pesto Chicken Flat Bread. Both came out piping hot, but so delicious it was worth burning my mouth LOL. The service was friendly and quick. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area and try their other locations out. I love Seasons 52. Service was top notch! I have been here before but it's been quite a while. I love the setting and decor. It is very clean and elegant as you walk in. The lighting sets the whole mood in the restaurant itself. I had the shrimp and grits, which was excellent, excellent excellent! The only thing was, I didn't have enough. I wish the portion was a little bit larger. My daughter had the Philly cheesesteak flatbread. I think it was. She loved it. The prices were on point, not too much, not too little, very nicely priced.
