4.5 stars It had been years since my last visit to Beneduce Vineyards, so I was happy that I was able to make it back there recently. The winery had rows and rows of grapes that they used to make several of their estate wines. In the midst of the vines, there was a large taproom where you could either sit at the bar or grab one of their high-top tables to enjoy a glass, a tasting, and/or a lovely charcuterie platter. There was also a small "shop" where you could pick up picnic munchies like bread, cheese, crackers, etc. Since it had been a while since I had tried their wines, I decided to do a flight, which was only available indoors. We decided to sit at the bar, as a staff member told us we would receive faster service there. However, we still felt like there was a lengthy amount of time between each of my 1 oz pours, because, despite it not being super busy, the clientele outweighed the staff; our server was consistently running between pouring for us and pouring for one or two of the tables. He was knowledgeable and friendly, just swamped. Overall, when it came to the wines, I largely enjoyed them. The flight included: 1.) 2023 Dry Riesling - lots of citrus, medium-bodied, mild acidity, not at all sweet (3.5/5) 2.) 2023 Gewurztraminer - light, watery, hints of grapefruit (2/5) 3.) 2023 Chardonnay - aged in oak but not overly buttery, aromas of red pear and apricot, bright, flavorful, unique. This one was my favorite. (4/5) 4.) 2021 Pinot Noir - light-bodied, but complex in flavor. Notes of red cherry at the forefront that changed to earthiness and mocha as it lingered (2.5/5) 5.) 2021 Blaufrankisch - medium-bodied, tasted like dark-chocolate-covered blueberry. This could definitely hold up in a pairing with steak. (4/5) I also asked for a small sip of the 2024 Dry Rosé (3.25/5), which was made from Blaufrankisch grapes fermented in stainless steel, but I found it a bit too dry and creamy for my liking. I decided to order a glass to take outside, a perk that I was unable to enjoy on my previous late Fall visit. I was debating between the Chardonnay and the Blaufrankisch, but settled on the more seasonal, chilled white wine. We wandered outside and found that we had several seating options. There was a field of picnic tables with umbrellas to keep out the sun, and they all faced a small stage where a terrific classic rock cover band, The Frequent Flyers, was playing. Guests could purchase food from the Italian food truck (trucks rotate) or bring their own treats. There were also tables on the patio of the tasting room building, which were much more cool and shaded, though you could not directly see the stage. A few bocce and cornhole courts were near the band and could keep kids entertained, while still in their parents' lines of sight. Plus, there were 2 delicious, house-made mocktails to allow non-drinking guests of all ages to feel like they were part of the action. In both wine quality and full-service experience, the Beneduce Winery exceled above other New Jersey wineries and was worth the trip.

Had a great time with friends -They have multiple seating areas - indoor, covered patio and tables and picnic benches in lawn with umbrellas. Their indoor seating is one of the nicest I've been to for a winery! They have live music on the weekends and you'll need to make an advance reservation online. We went on memorial day weekend after making a reservation for a group of 9. They allow to bring your own food, have cheeseboard/snacks to buy and also have food trucks on weekends. We arrived 1ish and got assigned table right away ( I would suggest making reservation early as table to us was assigned behind the stage and told it's because we booked last minute). We opted to sit at the firepit which is open seating. There was a acoustic music, it was nice but a band would have been much better considering the weekend and crowd. We tried their dry Rose and Chardonnay, liked both and ended up finishing 5 bottles. Overall, had a great experience- will definitely go again.

My favorite winery in NJ! I've been several times and each time is better than the last. The grounds are stunning with a beautiful, spacious outdoor area filled with various picnic benches, Adirondack chairs around cauldron fire pits, and patio tables. The landscaping is so pretty and tranquil with the beautiful wildflowers and vineyards surrounding the seating area outside. There's plenty of space to bring a group and reservations are pretty much a must on weekends. When we went on a Wednesday afternoon there was hardly anyone there and we had the whole outdoor area to ourselves. The ambiance inside is incredible as well. I love their wines with the 2023 dry Riesling and the Shotgun Red being my favorites. They have events throughout the week like trivia and live music. I celebrated a birthday here one year and my friends all loved it. The perfect place to relax on a Fall day. The service is great and they offer tastings. It's important to know that they don't do flights, but more so sequential tastings (5 for $20 or a $40 local pairing of wine and meat/cheese) and they have limited food. They sell some small snacks and merchandise and have food trucks I believe only on the weekend. Highly recommend if you've never been.

I love how this vineyard has both indoor and outdoor seating. Their indoor seating is one of the nicest I've been to for a winery! They have wine tastings or you can buy wine by the glass or bottle. We went with the Cabernet and sparkling wine and both were very delicious. You can bring your own food or you can purchase a cheeseboard. I honestly thing they overcharge for their cheeseboard. It's $20pp and you barely get anything. We spent $40 for our board. They have a little market area and sell food so you'll get more value purchasing from there and making your own board. For $26 we got a full load of bread, block of cheese and block of chorizo, which was more food than their $40 cheeseboard. Overall we had a great time!

    The rosé was my favorite.

Very nice winery you can bring whatever you want. Excluding alcohol of course, it was a nice experience. Definitely plan to visit again early fall.

They have been here for 11 years now and this visit was the first time I knew about them. Not having been in that area for a VERY long time, it was amazing just to see what has become of the old farm land. The place is huge and if you come here during the week off hours most likely you are not going to need a reservation. Coming here at prime time for an event? Well, the reservation system gets you a table which is wonderful and easy to reserve at a very fair price. As mentioned on their website, "We offer a curated selection of locally sourced cheese, salumi and small bites, in addition to a rotating schedule of food trucks on most weekends." Meaning, if you see the pizza in the photos here on Yelp, don't expect it (meaning the food truck) during the slow period of a day in the middle of the week. With that said, what they have (cold) to be served any time you visit is actually a great pairing for the wine. I have not experienced the full offering of wine yet; however, I do enjoy the Mangione over the Blaufränkisch ever so slightly. Another bonus, again, from their website: "Leashed and friendly dogs are welcome in our outdoor areas including our covered Crush Pad, and a doggie bag station is located on site." So, you can bring your furry little friend too. Friendly service, great wine, great food (even with the small selection), and wonderful events (at least as listed as I have yet to go to one). I am looking forward to going back here for sure!

We had such a great time here! We brought food, ate outside, and enjoyed a bottle of red wine. The grounds are beautiful! Eventually we moved inside and sat at the bar. Our server Brent was great! He was very knowledgeable about the wines. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely return.

Found this place while searching for a vineyard to check out over the weekend! The moment we arrived, everything looked amazing and we were impressed by how nice it looked inside, as well as their outdoor seating. We had their seasonal wine tasting, which came with 3 white wines and 2 red wines. Workers there were all very generous and knowledgeable of their products so overall, we were satisfied with this place. I ended up buying their Chardonnay and Blaufränkisch, as well as their beenie (for souvenir). Would definitely come back here again!

For a party of 5 we thought we'd take a drive and see if we could do a wine tasting. We were wrong. Do please make a reservation before. We sat at the bar ordered 5 bottles of wine and conducted our own little tasting. The pizza cart that was set up outside was delicious and they had entertainment. All in all a really good time.

I was so surprised to hear that there was a vineyard only 20 minutes away from my house! My friend and I did the seasonal tasting which was $20 per person. In that, you get 5 one ounce pours of the vineyards seasonal wines. I fell in love with the riesling and pinot noir, and I don't even like dry wines! I will say though, the bar area got really really packed a few minutes into our tasting. It got a little overwhelming when there were people coming between my friend and I trying to order while we were sitting at the bar. If you're interested in the local tasting, you need a reservation so make sure you reserve your time online! The charcuterie board was also great, it was helpful that the menu had all the cheeses and spreads on the page and said what paired best with each wine. Definitely would be back again!

I wanted to give this place a better review so bad but so much about it turned me off. We got to this place about 40 mins before closing and asked if we could do a quick wine tasting. Unfortunately they didn't let us even though there were like 40 people still sitting and drinking and trust me, their glasses were pretty full so they would be a while. So because we drove like 45 mins to get to this place they said we had to buy bottles. How am I suppose to buy a bottle and I don't even know what it taste like. So we bought 4 bottles and took them home to try and nothing blew my mind. They were okay at best. But that's why you do a tasting, to buy what you like. Other then the wine the place was gorgeous and they even had outdoor heating. I don't blame the staff cause that just may be policy with tastings. I'd love to still come back and try more. I'll give an updated review then.

The wine tasting was fun and the food was delicious! My wife and I came here for a lunch date and we enjoyed the winery! Anthony was great and knowledgeable about the wines. We had a wonderful time and look forward to returning soon!

We are planning to visit the vineyards on September 23rd Saturday afternoon for wine tasting. Can we bring some of our own food?

There are strict rules on keeping the wine within the winery area only, but this is definitely not surprising for NJ and their tough liquor laws. Overall - it's incredibly cool to see a full fledged winery like this pop up on a farm. Besides just serving wine they are keeping the calendar stacked with events and music. The staff is friendly.
