    What a beautiful place to go to for celebrations! Be sure to rsvp ahead of time for Fridays and weekends as this place can easily get packed. Loved the chill and nice ambiance upon entering. Food and drinks were amazing! We just about loved everything we ate or drank. Had the cheese plate and grilled calamari to start. For mains, went with the recommended special... Sablefish with broccoli rabe - the fish was so lovely buttery and yet flakey. Drinks were so good. My favorite was the Rosemary Paloma. My friends had the grilled pork chop and char-grilled flat iron steak which were also sooo delicious! Great server, super friendly, in spite the busyness on a Friday night, he still managed to shower us with a little complimentary bday dessert! Only minor downside was the valet parking given the small parking lot. It did slow down the process of getting my car. However, this would not deter me from not going again. Will be back again soon!!

    Rounded up to five stars. Off the beaten path, this restaurant is located in what once was a home. The dining room is relatively small and the tables are close together. The menu is varied and there are dairy specials. We had the Salmon Tartare (appetizer) and Soft Shell Crab specials. Both were excellent. The Rabbit Loin and Pork Chop were also very good. The service is attentive.

    The service was great and the ambiance was great! However, our sparkling water was flat , the shrimp appetizer was not spicy and my husband had the shrimp in angel hair ,and the shrimp was not fresh. If you're a restaurant with high prices,ALL your seafood should be fresh! My short rib pasta was great and the cheese plate was very good! My lavender martini was delicious and the cab with dinner delightful! The dessert was okay and the tart was not flavorful. But again, the service was awesome!!!

    This is a really nice little spot with classy ambiance and excellent food. The service was wonderful and there is a full bar with many wine options as well. I had the Jersey corn ravioli and cheese plate. The ravioli tasted amazing and was in a nice light sauce. The flavors of fresh corn and bell pepper popped well with the fresh pasta and cheese. The cheese plate was great too, the quantity of cheese was smaller than what I was expecting but quality cheese gets expensive quickly so I'm assuming that's why. I also tried a bite of the mac n cheese which was nice and cheddar-y with crispy bread crumbs, though also quite a small portion. I didn't try the swordfish but the group I was with really liked that as well.

    Great good and service although it's valet parking only on the weekends, otherwise you can park on the streets a couple blocks away.

Once we figured that out, she got us some food to go and we ate here at home. Verdict: -excellent seating options - stools, couches, chairs -food is so so good. Tartare, truffle fries. My wife really enjoyed her pasta and had enough to take some home. The service was very friendly, and the food came out promptly. They also provided complimentary champagne for our celebration. For appetizers, the duck bacon and vegetable fritters ($16) and hand-made potato and cheese pierogies ($19) were ordered. The fritters consisted of house cured and smoked duck breast with a whipped lemon ricotta. There were two present and each were fried perfectly. The lemon ricotta was definitely needed to pair with the salty fritter. It was a great compliment. The pierogies were of the squash variety and they came with caramelized onions and sauteed greens. There were about five or six substantial size pierogies and each sized appropriately. The squash layer really made them airy and the filling was tasty. The onions were a little too soft as there was some type of broth present. The greens were ideal though. For an entrée, I had the signature tavern burger ($38). It was a cold smoked grass-fed ground beef patty with caramelized onion, bone marrow, bacon jam, and potato wedges. I also had the gruyere and bacon added to the burger for no extra fee. When I initially ordered, I thought the bone marrow was just going to be on the burger, but I was wrong. Right next to the burger was one of bigger bone marrows I have seen. It was very good with the onions and bacon pieces. The marrow itself paired nicely with the bacon and onions. For the burger itself, I opted for it to be medium rare, and it came out perfect. There was an ideal ratio of bread to filling. The bacon jam was not too overpowerful, and the meat was seasoned well. The potato wedges which I believe were cooked in tallow were also large. They were crispy and seasoned nicely too. It was a well put together meal. I also tried the lamb being offered that night which I believe came with a lamb sausage and a shallot tzatziki. This was solid as well, but there were a number of fatty pieces I was surprised to see. For dessert, the mozzarella gelato ($12) was ordered. Yes, this had to be ordered to give it a try, and it was well received. There was not an overpowerful flavor of cheese, which I was afraid of. It did taste like mozzarella, but not overwhelming. The actual gelato was very creamy too, which I am sure helped. Will I go back? I would.
