    Cinnamon rolls

Absolutely loved my meal. The brunch burger was super filling and cooked perfectly. We ordered cinnamon rolls as a side to share - also scrumptious and uberly filling. Everything tasted fresh and yummy. However nothing to push it over the top to a 5, it was just what we expected. Service was excellent and ambiance is beautiful and grand - great for meeting with family, friends, or date anytime of day.

Overall a great experience. My partner took me to this restaurant while on our day trip to Princeton. We went on a Sunday around 130pm and there was a 45min wait, which didn't bother us. We just walked around some gift shops. The space is huge. It was tricky to find the entrance since they have two different signs up... one I think is antique with another restaurant name so maybe why they kept it up. Staff was very friendly and service was good. Waited a bit for water and check... but since my partner and I were busy chatting, the wait didn't seem bad. Food was incredible! I got the Roasted Butternut Squash Ravioli and a White Winter Cosmo and my partner got a steak with eggs. Both dishes were $30/ drink $15/ he had a pomegranate lemonade but I forgot how much they charged for it. We opted out of dessert since neither of us have a sweet tooth. The portions appear small, but I was stuffed when I finished my meal. For reference I always eat about 2/3rds of my dishes in other restaurants. The mix of flavors were so delicious I am definitely voting to go back there when we visit again. My partner noticed and commented "it's the little touches that make a restaurant upscale." One walls had interesting art on them. Another wall had what appeared to be framed architectural pictures of the restaurant. And waiters all had great quality aprons with creative pockets. It was really the little things that made this restaurant appear sophisticated. From a business card I picked up by the door I found out the company owns more restaurants around NJ and honestly I am curious to check them out!

Very good fine dining restaurant with a wonderful ambience and great food! Top dining experience for downtown Princeton! You can't go wrong here, really great food, terrific selection of wines and beer, great service, wonderful ambience! For business or pleasure. Margherita flatbread made a delicious appetizer! We also had the fried cauliflower which was not to be missed! One of the best appetizers I've had in a long time. The pumpkin ravioli main course was delicious. I wish the serving was a little larger. Sauce was creamy and delicious. I ordered the halibut with mixed vegetables. The halibut was a generous serving, but unfortunately, it was cooked a little on the dry side. I still liked it. The chicken Parmesan was interesting as it was on the bone. However, it was delicious and I would have it again! It's really beautiful inside and makes a great atmosphere for fine dining, including business or a large group. Of course, a date would be perfect here! Highly recommended if looking for a nice restaurant downtown Princeton, you can't go wrong

After trying to hit up a brunch spot with a 40 minute wait we decided to walk around and happened upon this restaurant. Looked at the menu outside and did a walk-in. We were seated at a tall bar stool table. Huge shoutout to our amazing waiter, Cullen W. He pretty much recited the entire menu to us, explained some of the standout dishes, recommended his favorite ones, gave us a brief history of their farm to table ingredients and which farms it came from. Also appreciated that he warned me that my choice of mocktail has a bitter taste. Great service always makes for an amazing dining experience. Here is what we ordered: - Tuna Tartare (get this) - The Golden Pancake (it is baked in the oven and to-die-for) - Grilled Chicken Pita Pillow (most incredible pita I have ever had) - Roasted Butternut Squash Ravioli (Vegan) - Roasted Local Mushrooms (my son being a mushroom lover, devoured this dish) The chef has an excellent hand on seasoning everything perfectly. Wonderful presentation and you can taste that the fresh ingredients were sourced with care. What surprised me were the reasonable prices and huge portions. I look forward to visiting this restaurant again in the near future.

Agricola eatery is a type of dining experience which hits you in the feels. Welcoming ambiance, pleasant service which makes you feel like you're a guest instead of a customer. Menu is expertly crafted, ingredients are sourced with care and prepared as if it were art. First time here but definitely coming back.

What a gorgeous farm-to-table restaurant with a creative menu and unparalleled service. The bar area was inviting. Some of the tables have windows that open to the sidewalk. We enjoyed two amazing appetizers and our friends had delicious peach and berry cocktails. The stuffed squash blossoms with marscapone and a side of gazpacho was delicious. The eagle-eyed manager Jordan suggested adding a little honey to the homemade cinnamon roll with strawberry rhubarb compote, which was off the hook. Get the Tea Forte on ice! And add a touch of simple syrup to make it perfect. Shout out to bartenders Kylie and Martin for being the best part of a lazy Sunday stroll. I can't wait to come back for a whole meal.

We came to get some drinks at night time -- the place is beautiful -- and instagrammable -- romantic and rustic-- there were many you g and older couples We had drinks -- I had a spicy drinks whose name ran away from me but I loved it. Decided to have the chicken parm - and it was supple and a bit crunchy -- the marinara sauce was delicious Service was quick too

The outside is so unassuming that you'd have no idea how much space there is on the inside. We had a reservation so seating was quick and easy. Our server was extremely pleasant and attentive. We were there for a few hours so I appreciated him! We ordered a lot of food as you can see lol it was a girlie catch up session. Everything we ordered was good, and I was pleasantly surprised by the mushroom pate! It needed more bread but the flavors were hittin! The salmon I wanted had yogurt in it, so they modified it to fit my dietary restrictions. I appreciated this! And the modification was so good! And the peanut butter cup dessert was so rich and delicious--definitely too rich for one person to finish in one sitting. So I'll be snacking on that for the next few days. I'll definitely be back here next time I'm in town!

Have been here for brunch, lunch and dinner. I would recommend the brunch the most. It wasn't super packed when I came and the chicken sandwich was filling and flavorful. My friend got the French toast and the sweet options also looked quite nice. But the dinner menu was not super impressive. The chicken parm dish is a deconstructed version of traditional parm but it didn't stand out to me. For the lunch menu, the kale salad was quite refreshing and filling and the bang bang cauliflower is amazing. The shrimp taco and the crispy chicken sandwich are pretty flavorful. If you want bangs for the bucks, go for the chicken pillow wrap, it's massive and the sweet potato chips are a nice touch. The iced tea carafe is always a nice experience and they have some refreshing cocktails too. The service is always friendly, fast and attentive. The interior is nice for group or business meals but while the dishes are made from fresh ingredients, the flavor profile and the selection are just not as special as other nearby restaurants.

My friends and I went to Agricola on Easter for a "linner". Even at the weird time we went, the restaurant was surprisingly full so we were glad we had a reservation. My friends ordered a chicken parm and I had the mushroom bolognese. We shared an order of truffle fries and they also got a lemonade and soda. Their chicken parm actually looked really good with several pieces of chicken, focaccia, and some grilled lettuce as well. My mushroom bolognese wasn't bad but I feel like the portion size wasn't very satisfying. Since it was Easter, we noticed that a nearby table found a golden easter egg hidden within some decor and they were able to redeem it to the manager for a chocolate bunny. It was definitely a cute touch that the restaurant had for the holidays. The restaurant is definitely on the pricier end, but we enjoyed the ambiance. I wouldn't be opposed to coming back and would probably order the chicken parm!

If I could give Agricola 6 stars, I would! This farm to table restaurant is a real gem, serving menu items with locally sourced ingredients. Everything from their apps, flatbreads, and entrees, to their desserts and cocktails are outstanding. The beautiful decor is sexy modern meets farm chic, with sprigs of wheat strategically placed on tables and displays, adding the perfect touch. I love the American farmhouse mural, and let's not forget the "thank a farmer" sign at the front with fresh local produce to grab as you leave (when I was there they had apples. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant is located across from the historic Morristown Green. I can't wait to go back in the fall to see their autumn menu!

Being from the area, I've been here on numerous occasions & have unfortunately been consistently disappointed by the quality of food. Wait staff is pretty inattentive & slow; was trying to get their attention for a while. The dishes try to be fresh & fun combinations of flavors but time & again flop. For instance, the hummus was not at all that, the pickled vegetables were like drinking vinegar, & the only decent part was the bread. I think this is officially the last time I will go here.

We stopped in while visiting Princeton & hopping from restaurant to restaurant. Only had an app (cauliflower) and a few drinks. The ambiance looks like it would be super cute in the evening with all of the candles they have set up throughout the restaurant. We were there during the day, and the sun was shining brightly in (limiting seating for some). Anyway, service at the bar was attentive. We'd stop back next time we're visiting.

For years I have been boring friends, family and anyone who would listen about the wretched state of service in the US, unfortunately made even more dismal by the pandemic. Well, I'm happy to report that service isn't dead, it's just lounging in the witness protection program at a place called the Perch at Peacock. Service here is as gracious and precise as a metronome and is a welcome respite from the current shambolic state of things on planet earth. And before I forget, the food... almost matching the service which is saying something. I absolutely loved the Restaurant Week Hangar Steak and Tomato Bisque with a finger sandwich of grilled cheese and lobster. Tastes that I'm unlikely to replicate as I return to the assorted diners and dives that are not privy to the safe harbor of witness protection and the unwashed remnants of the one percent. Damn. Sadly, our weekday meal was a disappointment. My friend and I were only one of two parties dining in the restaurant. The menu overall feels old and dated. It features Just the classics, which is fine if executed well, but the execution was seriously lacking. The little gem salad featured pickled cucumbers in a very sharp vinegar sitting next to overdressed, lettuce and kale. It also had very large round carrots, which I think were completely unnecessary. The complimentary bread was brought to the table, warm and featured little mini salads on the side, which was a thoughtful touch. My entree of duck was a substitute for the more exciting braised short ribs mentioned initially. The breast was tough and chewy and the bread crumb on the leg was mushy and not crisp. Desert was our last hope but the flourless cake proved to be a hard, tough dome. Shout out for the kind and thoughtful wait staff! Overall, however, a let down. What a shame! There are too many excellent restaurants in the Princeton area and a clientele that definitely have a global palate so I worry this place might not last.

They said that the portion sizes were not smaller because of the $65 price fix option. If you ordered the salads à la carte they arranged from $19-$22 I believe. Had I did the à la cart and received that portion for that much money I would be disappointed to say the least; my wife and I often share a salad before entrées and generally speaking they are big enough to share but their portion wasn't enough for me alone. My wife and I came to Brick Farm Tavern for my birthday dinner since we like trying someplace new…read morein the area. The setting is very nice. It has a rustic farmhouse feel (wood floors with wide boards, multiple fireplaces) but still comes across as more upscale than your typical tavern. The dining room has a warm atmosphere without being too loud, so you can actually have a conversation without shouting. We started with the seasonal pickle plate (beets, carrots, cauliflower, cucumber, fennel, olives) and the bread plate (three different breads with two different butters and olive oil). Both were a good way to kick things off. The pickled vegetables had a nice variety and the bread was fresh and paired well with the accompaniments. For our entrees, my wife went with the homemade pasta while I chose the Wagyu NY strip steak cooked medium rare with bourbon maple glazed root vegetables. The steak was cooked exactly as requested and had great flavor. The root vegetables added a nice sweetness that complemented the dish well. My wife really enjoyed her pasta and had enough to take some home. To finish the night, we had the mozzarella gelato (yes, you read that right - mozzarella), along with tea for my wife and coffee and Sambuca for me. The gelato was a unique dessert and a nice way to wrap up the meal. Our waitress Jemma was very friendly and attentive throughout the night without being overbearing. Overall, everything was very good. This is definitely a place we would return to, especially for a nice dinner out.

This was a large historic farmhouse with a menu that changes often. They source most of their food…read moreright from their farms which was cool to see. The service was very friendly, and the food came out promptly. They also provided complimentary champagne for our celebration. For appetizers, the duck bacon and vegetable fritters ($16) and hand-made potato and cheese pierogies ($19) were ordered. The fritters consisted of house cured and smoked duck breast with a whipped lemon ricotta. There were two present and each were fried perfectly. The lemon ricotta was definitely needed to pair with the salty fritter. It was a great compliment. The pierogies were of the squash variety and they came with caramelized onions and sauteed greens. There were about five or six substantial size pierogies and each sized appropriately. The squash layer really made them airy and the filling was tasty. The onions were a little too soft as there was some type of broth present. The greens were ideal though. For an entrée, I had the signature tavern burger ($38). It was a cold smoked grass-fed ground beef patty with caramelized onion, bone marrow, bacon jam, and potato wedges. I also had the gruyere and bacon added to the burger for no extra fee. When I initially ordered, I thought the bone marrow was just going to be on the burger, but I was wrong. Right next to the burger was one of bigger bone marrows I have seen. It was very good with the onions and bacon pieces. The marrow itself paired nicely with the bacon and onions. For the burger itself, I opted for it to be medium rare, and it came out perfect. There was an ideal ratio of bread to filling. The bacon jam was not too overpowerful, and the meat was seasoned well. The potato wedges which I believe were cooked in tallow were also large. They were crispy and seasoned nicely too. It was a well put together meal. I also tried the lamb being offered that night which I believe came with a lamb sausage and a shallot tzatziki. This was solid as well, but there were a number of fatty pieces I was surprised to see. For dessert, the mozzarella gelato ($12) was ordered. Yes, this had to be ordered to give it a try, and it was well received. There was not an overpowerful flavor of cheese, which I was afraid of. It did taste like mozzarella, but not overwhelming. The actual gelato was very creamy too, which I am sure helped. Will I go back? I would.
