I love the corn nuggets they serve here. They are delicious! The service was quick too. They don't keep you waiting here hungry for long at also love The old fashioned ambience and the old ice cream shop theme. The counter staff were very focused on the customer And very polite.

Went back to Confectionately Yours on this exceedingly hot day! I got a few of my faves and tried a delicious new favorite. I got the savory French Onion Soup (delectable), Loaded Tator Tots (delicious) and a new favorite the Cookie Monster Sundae! This is three heaping scrumptious filling scoops of Cookie Monster and Vanilla Ice cream, cookie dough, cookie crumbles, three cookies, whipped cream and three cherries! What better tastier way to cool off on one of the hottest days of the summer?!

Another great YELP find! Cute, longtime family-owned diner / ice cream parlor tucked away in a strip mall. We came here after a day of walking around Princeton University for ice cream and we're not disappointed. All ice cream is home made and had a nice creamy base. I ordered a banana split and my wife ordered a brownie sundae. Both were perfect! As we sat waiting, we noticed all the great looking dishes passing by and would love to return to try the food. Super fantastic service from Denise!! I'm particular about my banana splits (who isn't?) and she made it happen. You need to try this joint!

A very cute and old-fashion dessert place that provides a little throwback to an ice cream parlor. I stopped by during a humid and hot day, perfect for ice cream. I asked to just eat our ice cream at the counter, since it is such a cute little area. Service was nice and friendly, with one waitress scooping our order the same time another was taking our order. Whiel the ambiance is quaint and lovely, the lower ranking stems from the tiny serving for the ice cream size. While it isn't an unreasonably small portion, their cup to ice cream ratio made the dessert look a bit sad (refer to the ice cream sundae picture), and the flavors of the ice cream were not as flavorful as I would hope. The cookie dough had 1 or 2 small cookie dough chunks and the cherry vanilla had a strong artificial flavor that just was not up my alley. They also have a full menu if you are looking for a meal instead of just dessert, but I didn't get the chance to check out their menu this time around. I might have gotten unlucky with my ice cream choices this time around, but the cute decorations and furnishing are enough to warrant a quick pit stop next time I am in the area. I must say, I recommend the cone over the cup though!

I highly recommend this cozy homestyle restaurant and ice cream shop! I've been here a few times and it's consistently excellent food at an affordable price. Today I got a very flavorful sandwich, the turkey avocado melt, with a generous portion of French fries, for $12.00. (A comparable size and quality sandwich and fries would easily cost $17 at other places.) The staff here is friendly and personable. I appreciate their customer service. They have a kids menu. The restaurant is clean, casual and comfortable. I love the colorful paper ice cream cones hanging from the ceiling. You can park for free in the huge and well lit parking lot. It's conveniently located and easy to find in a big strip mall on the corner of Rte 27. There's outside seating at tables on the sidewalk between the entrance and parking lot. This is the perfect place to bring kids.

Visited this place a few times before, even before they were an actual restaurant... they were just a sweet shop before with ice cream when I was growing up in the area. But, this is a family owned establishment and my aunt has been coming here to eat for years. This was her choice when I took her out to lunch to celebrate her birthday. It was such a beautiful early Spring day and they know how to do Easter, apparently. Decorated outside and inside .. a whole section of the shop filled with so many Easter treats! It was really fun to browse. Just put me in a pastel mood lol. On to the food, we were seated quickly.. not many people at 2:30 on a Thursday. Terry was our server and she was very nice. Food came out quickly. We ordered the fried green beans as an app and omg.. they were sooo good! And the dipping sauce was perfectly matched. I'd come back just to order these to to go! My aunt ordered the Jessica salad which is her go to.. she loved it.. I thought it sounded good with breaded chicken and honey mustard dressing.. my daughter ordered from the kids menu, which includes an entree with a side of fries, salad, or applesauce.. she picked cheese pizza and fries.. it comes with a drink and a scoop of ice cream. She loved her "unicorn" flavor! I ordered a bowl of chili that was delicious.. perfectly cooked chunks of beef, not the ground Wendy's stuff, topped with cheddar cheese. I loved it. Ordered a garden salad topped with egg salad to go. It was huge and fed my husband and I for dinner! I will say the prices were pricing.. But, I guess that is just the way of the world nowadays. Cute, strip mall spot that regulars love.. and for good reason.

My review's limited to just the ice cream. During the summertime, Confectionately Yours is finally open till past 10pm, which certainly makes it easier for me to come here instead of trekking to Princeton. I haven't had Confectionately Yours in ages, so this was truly a pleasant surprise. I ordered the single scoop Cookies n Cream ice cream. First, it's pretty damn generous of a single scoop. Second, I appreciated that it didn't immediately melt, which is always a pleasant surprise for me. At $4, it's near the high end for ice cream, but not the most expensive. However, I do wish that they accepted credit card payments regardless of threshold, The $10 minimum threshold is a bit of a bummer, since I don't always have smaller bills on me. Way back when, Franklin Towne Center used to be humming and Confectionately Yours fit perfectly well amongst the other shops. It's too bad the plaza has become quite quiet in the evening. Without a grocery store, it's just not the same.

We visited Samudhra for dinner and were craving for ice creams after dinner . This place was right next to it . It is also closer to ocean job lot shop .. from outside it looked an ice cream shop but when I went in , I was surprised that it was a full fledged restaurant. They had soups , salads , fries , and many other things . Atmosphere was good . Service was good too. Ice creams were ok . should try their food next time . 4/5

He smiles, "You can check for yourself." I look inside the bag. "Yup, seems fine. Great doing business with you" "Wait." He pushes a pen in front of me, "I need your signature that you got the goods". I comply, and make polite conversation: "Business doing well?" "We're all sold out". He responds "I heard you were no longer selling wholesale?" "Yes". He responds solemnly. "The shop closed. We only do home delivery now". "Well, you've got great quality. I expect your customers will stay loyal". "I hope so." He responds, before waving me goodbye. I close the door, and excitedly turn the bag over. I can't wait to feed the addiction. And, out of the bag fall two small plastic boxes, each containing..... one dozen macarons :D So, yes - this is my crack: French macarons. AND, I get it delivered at home. But, there is no other option. Now that Tafu in Mid-town has closed, Mitzy Budiono, who bakes some of the best macarons in New York, sells her addictive goodies by fulfilling customers orders placed on her website. http://www.itzybitzypatisserie.com/ I don't think one needs to mention, that home delivery is a far more convenient option than trekking all the way to New Brunswick! I know, I know, all of you are just dying to rush past the guidos driving in for the weekend ;) Given the quality of her macarons, I am a loyal customer and have tried the 6 monthly flavors, for three consecutive months now. The recent month's (May's) flavors - Cabernet, Houjicha, Chocolate, Spicy Chocolate, Raspberry Chocolate, and Pistachio, have been more intense than those in the previous month (black sesame with azuki, Chocolate passion fruit, Jasmine, mango, chocolate Mint, and chocolate caramel), which I wasn't convinced were pulled off exceedingly well (by now I have lofty expectations of her product!). The taste for many of the Asian accented April flavors was far too subtle for me, even if I did appreciate that Mitzy used fresh mint (as opposed to extract) to draw out the flavor, and the black sesame was perhaps the best version I've had in macarons. Mitzy's macarons have some of the best shape, texture, and colors of those available in the city. They have excellent bite, reasonable quantity, and great quality of filling. I can condone the occasional lack of intensity in flavor for the compensating factor that her fillings aren't too sweet. While I adore Madeleine Patisserie, there are times when I find some of their flavors as excessively sweet. The only exasperation is to go through the (often slow) website to place an order, and hope that Mitzy has received it in time for her Saturday shipments. As you need to order at least two dozen macarons, make sure that you start a macaron pool with your friends ;) Count me out, for I am not sharing these with anyone! :)
