If you do get an elaborate drink, I suggest sharing it with a loved one as they're huge! However, was slightly disappointed with how slow it was to get our drink as there was only one staff working the register and making these elaborate dessert/drink. If you're in a hurry or have unruly kids, I would not suggest coming here. Should you come here, do you use the parking garage across the street that is used for the train station. Otherwise it's impossible to find any space especially on the weekend.

We got out smoothies/ice creams after a bit longer of a wait than expected. It's definitely a tight shop here, but we were able to find seats for us after waiting out a few folks. They've got a broken seat in the corner, which cause one of our group to almost fall into their ice cream! Hopefully they can get that fixed soon. Ice cream is decent! Smoothie also. I'd say it's typical college town fare, but nothing that you'd go out of your way for. Overall, it's a solid choice in the area, but a lot is begging to be improved here regarding the seating and the service.

I ordered the black sesame bubble tea and was windly disappointed with the tea itself. It wasn't creamy at all and tasted like VERY mildly black sesame flavored water. I've been wanting to try The Baked Bear for a while, and finally had the chance to last night! I…read moreordered a chocolate chip cookie and a scoop of their old fashioned vanilla ice cream. The cookie itself is thin and smaller than I'd like, but I understand that's probably because they also use them for the ice cookie sandwiches. The chocolate chips in the chocolate chip cookie are sweeter, I'm assuming milk chocolate, but I liked the texture of the cookie. It was what I'd call a "boneless cookie". I normally like soft cookies with a slight crust around the edges, and these didn't have that. But I still liked the cookie! It's soft and chewy, still soft the next day. After buying the cookie, I tried a sample of the old fashioned vanilla ice cream, and I was surprised by how much I liked it. The consistency was smooth and creamy and the vanilla flavor was really good. Normally I don't care for old fashioned vanilla because I prefer vanilla bean, but most places don't offer vanilla bean so I end up settling for French vanilla or old fashioned vanilla instead. This time though, it didn't feel like I was settling. I ended up ordering a small cup of the ice cream and the serving size was pretty generous. They also give you a physical punch card for rewards each visit, and you can enter your phone number at the counter, I'm not sure if you can also earn points through your phone number. It's bright and airy in there, even walking in after 10pm. The two ladies helping us were both very nice, one of them offered to give us a sample of ice cream when she heard us talking about trying it. I'll definitely be back, whether it's for the chocolate chip cookie or the vanilla ice cream!

Roadside Parking might be little tight in the evening hours on week days. Also to note this is not a usual 9 AM opening shop. They open only at 3 PM and open until midnight on all days of the week.

Sometimes it can be hard to get seating on busy nights, but there's also places to sit outside. One thing I appreciate about this location is that they always honor app promotions and coupons. It's still a great spot when you're craving ice cream but want something a little different. The fresh baked cone is definitely what sets this place apart. It gives the whole experience more of a bakery vibe than your typical ice cream shop, and it's delicious. One thing to know before you go: the flavor selection is limited. Expect around six options or less at a time, including a weekly featured flavor that might just become your favorite. Here's my biggest tip: download the app before you visit. It saves time, lets you browse the flavors without standing at the kiosk, allows you to order ahead, and you'll earn points toward rewards, like a free pastry cone. Now, learn from my mistake... this is NOT take to go ice cream. I thought I could enjoy mine in the car, but by the time I got going, it had melted to a delicious mess. There aren't to go containers or bags because the experience is meant to be enjoyed fresh, even though seating inside is somewhat limited. The good news is that parking is easy, so getting there isn't a hassle. If you've been scrolling through reviews trying to decide whether items worth checking out, I'd say treat yourself and give it a try. It may not have endless flavor choices, but the freshly baked cones make it a unique ice cream experience that's worth experiencing at least once.

It was around 10am on a Sunday and understandably there were a few people already in the shop, but the staff member felt a bit cold and overall, quite miserable. The coffee was pretty gross as well, which could be a byproduct of the barista hating that they were working that day. I am a sucker for a fun drink and wanted to try the cookie and cream latte, not knowing it was just a cup of milk with the smallest splash of coffee and mixed with crushed up cookies. I felt as if I was drinking a child's recipe, with each attempted sip clogging my straw due to the cookie pieces. If you don't like coffee this is great, because it tasted exactly like what was advertised - milk and cookies. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but my partner ordered something completely different and it didn't taste great either. The taste of burnt coffee was prominent, making it hard to consume as well. The one positive is the environment seems like a great place to work remotely / study, as that is what many patrons were doing. The open-ness and bright atmosphere is great, but the beverages and customer service not so much.
