    Peppa Pig Pie

Woodstack Pizza in Metuchen is a great spot with a cozy, welcoming vibe. We tried the Prosciutto pizza and the Peppa Pig, and both were delicious with a nice crispy crust and well-balanced flavors. The Peppa Pig is a fun take on a meat lovers pizza and loaded with soppressata, pepperoni, sausage, and bacon marmalade, with peppadew peppers adding a nice pop. The prosciutto pizza felt lighter and really fresh with arugula on top. Both had great topping-to-crust ratios. It's a bit on the pricier side for what you get, but overall a really solid stop and we will likely come back.

My husband brought me here for Valentine's Day, and I'm absolutely obsessed! The restaurant has a parking lot and plenty of seating, which made everything so convenient. Their menu is full of must try dishes, and everything we had was incredible. It felt like each item outdid the last. My husband really nailed it picking this place! We started with fresh bread and butter, which won my heart immediately, because not many places do this anymore. We also enjoyed a bottle of white wine. For appetizers, we had the maple chili chicken wings, wow, just wow! and the burrata, which was amazing. For entrees, we shared the Tártufo pizza, which was excellent, and the pappardelle bolognese, my absolute favorite! Everything was perfection. I can't wait to go back!

Make sure you make reservations as it gets crowded even mid week entry area a bit cramped . . Great wood fire pizza with lots of varieties of toppings. Great artichoke appetizer with a sweet sauce . Fresh bread served which is delicious. Good service and nice atmosphere great flavor, just a bit pricey

I want to start off by saying that I love the aesthetics of this restaurant. It gives a cozy and a warm feeling. This restaurant is the perfect place to catch up with your girls and be casual but still want to look cute. I can also see it being a perfect spot for happy hour after work. It had a nice bar area where you could sit and watch the games playing on tv. It is a super spacious restaurant and it is nice inside. The service was fantastic from the hostess and our waiter was great. That alone definitely makes me want to go back. All the staff were super friendly which I can appreciate. As for the food, it was pretty good. I will say that the menu isn't super big which is good because sometimes big menus can be overwhelming. All the dishes we ate were delicious and enjoyable. I definitely recommend the maple wings as an appetizer and we also got the grandma pizza for the table. For my meal I got the Bibb Salad and it was super refreshing so I also recommend that as well. Overall, if I get the chance, I definitely would return to Wood stack.

Had such a good time here! Went for happy hour with a friend and we were pleasantly surprised at how gorgeous the restaurant itself was. We sat upstairs and got a nice view and then ordered two pizzas (happy hour deals are great). They make all their bread in house and all their food is customizable and dietary restrictions friendly. I ordered a grandma pizza and my friend got the pizza barese. Mine was great, I finished the whole thing and my friend liked hers although found the broccoli Rabe a bit too bitter for her I also wanted to highlight how amazing the staff was - as we were leaving my friend forgot her leftovers on the table and we only realized when we reached the parking lot. When we went back, the table was cleared already but management offered to remake the entire pizza which we really appreciated! Overall had a great experience and will definitely be back

Often bristling with a lot of people, this restaurant is a solid find in the heart of Metuchen. It's pretty close to a major mall and great to use as a spot for getting a bite to get away from the mall crowds. This place can get quite busy fast so it's important to make reservations on sites like Resy. Food is consistently delicious and I would highly recommend their appetizers especially the honey glazed brussels sprouts and Caesar kale salad mixed with roma tomatoes that come with an extra punch. Their best bar drink is a spicy cucumber margarita which consistently hammers home a kick that stays on your pallet for long. Their pizza is delicious - thin crust and the Buratta pizza, especially, comes stacked with a big bowl of Buratta cheese. The ambiance is lively and fun with both an upstairs and downstairs!

Stopped by on a Friday at 5:30 with a party of five. The staff was friendly and accommodating overall, giving us time to figure out what we wanted to order. The main dining room has a center bar area a two store high ceiling and modern looking. It has a great feel to it. The table at which we were seated was a bit small for five, and the chairs were a bit uncomfortable. We did a round of cocktails and they were on the sweeter side from what we were used to - a bit heavy on the simple syrup and they took a bit too long to be delivered to the table after ordering. Switched to beer for the second round of drinks. Ordered some appetizers. The bread itself in each application was fantastic - very rustic and artisan with a nice color from the wood oven. We ordered three pizzas to share and try. They were on the small side for the price, and were (especially compared to the bread) a bit underwhelming. The pizza crust was good, sauce and toppings meh. By the time the pizza came out, the service dropped off and our server was absent for long periods of time. It got busier I guess? Not bad overall but not great. They do appear to have good happy hour deals price-wise weekdays between 3pm and 6pm. Have to give that a try sometime.

First time eating at Wood Stack and it was a great experience! The restaurant itself is beautifully arranged and lets in a lot of natural light. We made brunch reservation on a Saturday just in case it got busy. I was really excited to try their pizza as not many places have prosciutto pies. Both pies we ordered were as delicious as they looked. Very different from your local italian restaurants but in a good way. The pizzas reminded me of some great places in Brooklyn that serve thinner crust style^^ Service was also fantastic and servers and managers often made their rounds! Will definitely be coming back again.

Absolutely loved this place! It's huge and has a great area of large parities. We were a group of 4 and had enough space and time to enjoy all the delicious food and company. We ordered 3 types of pizza to share. The margarita, grandma and chorizo pizza. All of them were delicious with a perfect thin crust. We also ordered the crispy Brussels sprouts which IS A MUST! You must order these!! We also ordered a side of friend and the maple bourbon wings and those were so good too.

Came to try this his pizza spot after seeing it on social media. I loved the open layout and the option to sit on the second floor. Greeted upon entry and seated within 2 minutes. Ordered the Stracciatella Caprese (5/5), Bucatini All Amatraciana (3/5), and Margherita pizza (5/5). Overall the food and service were good and I would definitely come back to try other items!

Super polite, soft spoken, very thoughtful with menu suggestions, our drinks were just coming!! He check on us constantly. We loved the attention. Wishing him the best on his next journey! My sister and I will bring our friends next time. We started with Brussels sprouts and delicious meatball appetizer. Also bread and butter yum!! Super fresh!! My family and I decided to check out Woodstock Pizza for Sunday night dinner. The restaurant space is huge with lots of room and tall ceilings. It could definitely host a large party with endless options of pizza, entrées, and apps you cannot go wrong with this restaurant. My family started off with the maple chile wing appetizer. The wings were perfectly coated to perfection with sauce and the creamy buffalo cheese dip was the perfect combination. Along with the wings we shared the grandma pizza which came out hot and ready to be devoured. It was so good! For the main dish I got the buttery Bibb salad which was a blast of fresh flavors. My mom got the ribeye which she said was tasty and hit the spot. My dad went with the salmon dinner and said he enjoy it. The service was attentive and very friendly. Overall this spot was a hit and I'll def return.

My go to restaurant in Metuchen. It has some of the best pasta and pasta in the area. My absolute favorite is Squid Ink Linguini and the Peppa Pig pizza. The bread is perfect, along with the delicious sangria. Service is always super friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The space is airy, with two floors and tons of seating.

The food, drinks, and ambiance are consistently excellent, but this review is about something even more meaningful. Earlier this week, I accidentally left my wallet at the restaurant and didn't realize it until the next day. When I returned and inquired, the new manager, Ricky, was incredibly professional and helpful. He verified my identity using a secondary ID (since my driver's license was in the wallet) and promptly returned it. Not only was everything intact--including a significant amount of cash--but he also refused to accept a tip, saying it was simply part of his responsibility to take care of customers. This note of thanks goes not only to Ricky but also to the entire staff for their honesty and integrity. Experiences like this are rare, and it only deepens our appreciation for a place we already loved.

As I approached the door--something many others had done before me--I was abruptly stopped by a man who turned out to be the owner. Honestly, if the refrigerator was in the middle of where the party was being held, then yes, I probably would--especially if there was no signage saying it was off-limits. Only after this encounter did he put up an "Employees Only" sign, which tells me it wasn't clearly marked before. This could have been handled in a much more respectful and professional manner. The owner's attitude was unnecessarily rude and confrontational. If he expects people not to go in, proper signage should be in place before the event begins, not after making guests feel unwelcome.
