I ordered on-line...They got it wrong!...I ordered on the phone...They got it wrong!..I ordered in-person...Yup, they got it wrong....I've given this place the benefit of the doubt at least 5 times and each time they had to remake the order...I don't write reviews but I literally just signed up for yelp just to write this one. The order they can't seem to get right is a basic sausage and green pepper sub, no cheese, no sauce, no onions but there's always 1 if not all 3 of those on the sub. The guy who takes the orders reassured me that he tells the cook not to put cheese and its not his fault ...but here we are, staring at the wrong order. I can write a dissertation on this pizzeria but I will digress with a paragraph. Let me start off by saying this pizza, the staff and the restaurant were beyond expectations. The place was busy and I see why, the pizza was absolutely phenomenal. Just the right amount of sauce, cheese and the crust was perfect. We also ordered a grilled shrimp caesar salad which was by far the best freaking salad I've had in a while. The only downside was the wait for food that wasn't pizza but it was definitely worth the wait. Would come here every day if I wasn't trying to watch my figure lol. read more

I was in the area for one night and was craving a chicken parm sub. This place is on GrubHub and it did not disappoint. I also ordered a zeppelin, because why not? They're delicious. The sub came hot as did the zeppoli. Both portions were huge; I could have split the meal with someone! One thing I really liked about the sub is that the chicken was in slightly larger than bite-sized chunks so it was easier to eat. The sauce was excellent and there was the right amount of cheese. The bread was delicious anddidn;t get too soggy. The zeppoli was so good; you can tell they make their own dough. It was lightly fried, so really soft interior. I was full from the sub, but there was no way I wasn't going to finish this delicious treat. From order time to delivery, it was 25 minutes. They have an extensive menu for all appetites and desires. Out of a random Yelp search, we stumbled upon Francesco's and had an awesome lunch! The portions were enormous, modestly priced, and tasted delicious! Seasoned and full of flavor. The serving size was pretty massive also. Their pizzas are delicious also and come with all sorts of varieties. U can order by the slice, or the whole pie. This place is as good as it gets when compared to all the best spots in the tri-state area. The white pizza and pepperoni slice hold up to the best I have ever had. I also got a sausage slice that was delicious; however, it is very difficult to compare to other slices (just not offered as frequently as the others). Francesco's is the embodiment of what you see is what you get. You get a great jersey style pizza here. You can also get a great NY slice too. Leo and staff will kindly make it. Those that want a nice thin slice that is crispy, filled with red sauce and topped with a lot of cheese can get it customized. I rave about their speciality pizza because there is so much to choose from. Vodka, Loaded Potato and bacon, Shrimp Scampi (I need to try this), and much much more. Each flavor has a good cheese and dough taste, but flavors follow their theme very well. So far, loaded potato and bacon is my favorite. Try their garlic knots! They put a generous amount of chopped garlic on it. The taste of the dough is fresh. Plus points on their variety of choices like stuffed garlic knots (sandwiched pepperoni and cheese in between). The marinara you dip it with creates the perfect combo. Another item I don't see often at pizza restaurants are fresh made focaccia bread. You can get that here. Breaded chicken on a fresh focaccia bread is the envy of many other people who see you eating it, heh! A big plus to this place is the nice staff. Leo and co have treated me we and are willing to make any adjustments based on customization requests. I'm a fan of giving people second chances. Especially when they put effort into resolving any issues. Someone suggested trying Francesco's again, as things had changed and gotten better. My wife and I took a chance and ordered a pasta dish that had been a standby prior to my previous review. Francesco's has been a beacon of light when it comes to Pizza in Woodbridge. When my wife and I moved from Rutherford we left behind a really good pizza place. Francesco's filled that hole and then some. The vodka sauce pizza is GOATED, their vodka parm sandwich is also GOATED(any bread be it the regular role, the Semolina bread, or the homemade Focacacia bread). Ok team, it's good. The place is fine, lots of room and clean, quick serve style. The service is awesome, the staff are on it and quickly acknowledge guests and manage whatever's needed. The pizza is solid, straightforward, tasty. The price is fine, not too out of whack with market rates. But I wouldn't come back. Not because of anything bad, mind you. Plainly middling pizza experience. Crust wasn't too chewy or crisp, sauce a tad too salty, toppings adequate.
