Stopped in for some quick slices and the place was OK. The service was quick and prices were fair. I liked the variety but the chicken and broccoli slice was oozing with grease. The plain slice was fair - more on the crunchy than soft side. The place was clean. Overall, I wouldn't avoid this place but wouldn't go out of my way to come here again. read more

I've always preferred Oakwood Pizza to this place - now called Karly's Pizza - but have recently been ordering delivery from here during pandemic. It has lower prices than Oakwood and no $2.50 delivery fee. And you can pay and tip by credit card over the phone. Veggie pizza is bomb. I couldn't find a website or online menu - ask them to include one with your delivery. read more

** Update December 2019. Name changed to Karly's. Menu appears identical except the catering page is replaced by Mexican dishes. Ordered before I knew name was changed - large pie, garlic knots, baked ziti and all were excellent still. I think the same cook is there with new owners - all of the front staff were new. Been here 3 times in last 2 months. Got - plain pie (v good), chicken Parm pie (excellent), penne vodka pie (v good) and garlic knots (just about perfect. Buffalo pizza was great. It takes nerve to put ranch dressing on a bbq pizza and not tell people, but it totally worked. Nice thick slices that held the toppings straight. On Saturday at 8, not a lot going on inside- just 1 old couple eating there. I have a feeling these guys do a lot of delivery. Loved the garlic knots, but the meatballs left a lot to be desired. Spongy and not particularly flavorful... these were passable but not great. So -1 for that, but everything else was excellent. read more

I have been driving past this location for the past two years but never thought to stop. I decided for lunch today that I want to try somewhere different so I ordered fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken, cheese fries and an order of garlic knots. The garlic knots were pretty exceptional they weren't soaked or overly flavored which I enjoyed and they actually give a good amount of marinara sauce. I got cheese fries with melted mozzarella cheese on them which were delicious as well and I think the fries are double fried to give them a good crunch. Fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken was exceptional as well it wasn't overly creamy and it was a really good portion for what I paid. I spoke to the girl behind the cash register who was extremely friendly when she took my order when I called for pick up and she was even nicer in person. They have recently gone through either management change or just the name change but they are no longer Il Pomodoro but Karlys. Well my food was being rung up I had a moment to glance at the menu and everything on the menu seems really affordable as well compared to the competition in the area. read more

Delivery was pretty efficient so a 4 star for that. Garlic knots... tasty at first but literally dripping with oil by the end of each knot which pretty much gave me a bellyache. The pizza... crust is a tad bit thick but it's doable. The taste of the pizza is okay, but it's just not that good. The sauce is not great. Maybe it's a can sauce, idk. Its just not good, not authentic where you can comment about how good the sauce is. Nothing to write home about.... or even a long commentary. read more

My wife and I just moved into the area and were looking for a new pizza place. Well we found it. Since moving in the area we have eaten here more then a half dozen times. The food is excellent! Pizza is delicious! I've also had the chicken parm with spaghetti...Excellent! Had family over and ordered from IL Pomodoro and they loved it too! Employees are friendly and great service. friendly service & opened late. But WORST pizza I've ever eaten. I'm not kidding. My husband and myself were so disappointed. It's the Sauce! It is HORRIBLE. Tastes very cheap and metallic tasting like it came from a rusty old can. Plus Cheap cheese containing cellulose (wood chips) ingredient. I couldn't even finish slice. I work next store and everyone else agrees their pizza is terrible. PLUS I had a groupon and the lady working didn't accept it. Had dinner there last night with hubby. The linguini with white clam sauce was delicious! We got to try a new "style" of pizza too, it had fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers, zucchini and mushroom. 5 stars! I've only been here a couple of times and ordered salads and apps. The rice balls are delicious but the salads aren't worth it. Price points good however I didn't really feel like the salad was tossed at all plus I find it lazy to not dress the salad for the customer especially when the take out containers aren't that big. Simply the best! I order 2-3 times a week on GrubHub. Everything I have tried is delicious. Amazing pizza, top quality pasta dishes, hands down the best wings in the area, 5 Star Chicken Caesar Wrap (my favorite), and to my surprise...the best cheeseburgers! Delivery was quick but we weren't really happy with the food we ordered. The buffalo chicken salad was chicken with a tiny amount of lettuce and was so spicy we couldn't even eat it. I know buffalo is supposed to be spicy but this tastes like a cup of siracha and nothing else. The soups we ordered were terrible and we did not eat those either. The meatball parm sandwich was good. I'm going to give them another chance because I have heard great things about them but I wouldn't try these dishes again. read more
