Reposting because they deleted my original and I will not get tired of reposting . I used to be a loyal customer of Luna Pizza back in 2019. They were a great business with solid service and good quality food, but things have drastically changed over time. Ever since the owner let his sons take over, everything has gone downhill. The worst offender by far is Sufi, the eldest son, who is absolutely disgusting and shameless. He'll give you attitude if you so much as ask a simple question, and they expect us not to question the overpriced items they serve. The quality certainly does not match the inflated prices. I'm rewriting this because I'm sure Sufi deleted my prior review, but if you're reading this, I hope you guys have a reality check and realize the world doesn't revolve around you. They act like they're superior to everyone else, and yet they claim to be a religious Muslim family--hahaha, oh please. What finally did it for me was seeing the father making pizza, then scratching himself inappropriately, only to continue sprinkling cheese over the pizza without a second thought. To top it off, Sufi was openly flirting with a young girl at the counter, asking her disgusting questions like how many bodies she had and then "accidentally" poking her chest with the pizza paddle. The girl looked uncomfortable, and I just had to walk out, even though my slice was being warmed up. Luna Pizza is the pure definition of a disgusting establishment, and it's heartbreaking to see how far they've fallen. You've lost a loyal customer for good. read more

Now, those are fightin' words in Middletown, where pizza is highly serious though oddly, the quality is not...can't get my head around that, but there you are. We had a number of take out pies for a party, meat lover, veggie white pizza and all were absolutely delicious. Good crust, not too thick, good flavor. They were cut a bit oddly, some large wedges and some narrow but in a way that worked because people could mix and match and not have to take a big wedge. Was told 30 mins, went to pick up after 30 mins... waited an extra 20 mins and would you believe it that both the wraps we ordered were cold.. hmm how does that happen. I spend a lot of money here faithfully every week multiple times a week because I will say they make decent food. But this place make me laugh if it's not for the local dedicated supportive neighbors they would be nothing! BASICALLY after waiting almost one hour for my 2 salads (2 plain grilled chicken salads, could it be any easier!) I was told he had to prioritize his orders like mine was not important. When I said it's salads. He got extremely nasty instead of being sympathetic for there forgetfulness of my order. I said just cancel this and he starts yelling in front of all the customers causing a scene, and looking like a fool as the owners son that this is how you treat people. HUGE embarrassment for himself and this pizza parlor. He told me to leave and would not refund my salads but when I told him I am Not leaving without my refund HE AGAIN tried to make me take my 1 hour salads and I said NO. He finally refunded me as he shook at the credit machine because he was so angry. I left and will Never be returning and if anyone ever asks my opinion for a good pizza parlor sadly I will never refer another person to this pizza parlor again. This was my first time trying this place, and I definitely won't be coming back. First of all, the hours are inconsistent across their website and on their window outside. When we called at 9:45, we asked what time they were open in order to confirm before placing an order. We were told "well we're open now but we're only doing pizza for pickup". When we apologized for ordering late as they were clearly closing an hour earlier than their website suggests we were told the counter girls had to catch a specific train to Staten Island and that's why they were closing the entire business an hour early...perhaps it's time to find people that can work your actual business hours if you have to close early for the counter workers. Both the margherita and regular cheese pizzas were extremely soggy and messy (see picture) for what it's worth the guy we spoke to was nice but the pizza we received didn't show that any care was put into it. Besides the terrible presentation, the sauce tastes like it's from a jar and the cheese was an odd blend, not terrible but weird? Overall a bad experience from the moment I called to when the pizza hit my tongue. Steer clear and try Karly's down the street if you want a solid pie in Colonia, You'll thank me later. read more

Really solid pizza here. I did a honey bbq chicken pie and it was delicious. Nice thick crust to hold the slice straight, LOTS of chicken and delicious sauce. Really unique and tasty. Only problem, they forgot to slice it. When I got it home, the pic had cooled so I had to do it myself, and I thought the pie was a little small so I did 6 slices not 8. The slices were a a big big, but I thought if I did 8 the slices would be too small. Meat balls were delicious. Gravy was just ok, and the sauce they gave me with the crappy mozz sticks was sweet and terrible. I used the gravy with the meatballs and it was a little better, but just avoid the mozz sticks. I also thought the garlic knots were small and under done, but a quick toast got that and my pizza nice and crunchy. Overall, I'll probably go back to try some of the other interesting looking slices I saw when i went in. Real nice options. read more

Eh...I've had better. I knew something was up the minute I walked in and the two guys glued to the television set didn't even welcome you when you walked in. Plus the pizza no offense was mediocre at best. It's not terrible, but I would stick with your local neighborhood pizza. And if this is your local pizzeria...sorry. The only good thing about it was the girl at the counter. She was very pleasant and gave you the reception you hope for going to pick up your pizza. Plus, there a little stingy on there toppings. I asked for half anchovies on mine and it looked like the guys making the pizza just slapped it on there instead of spreading it around, like your normal pizzeria would. I normally order from Luna at least once a week. Usually on a Friday like today. Usually the food is decent. However, today it was a disaster! The first problem was it wasn't delivered until 75 minutes after I placed the order. The online ordering said it would be received in 40 min. The other issue was the chicken parmigiana roll that I ordered was completely BURNT BLACK on the bottom making it inedible. I couldn't call to complain about the issue because they were closed.
