I've been in the fence of how to rate this restaurant for quite some time. It's kinda my #2 pizza place in town where I will go if my normal place at the other end of the block is closed. On the plus side, they have generous portions, the food is generally well prepared (I recommend the baked ziti and a side of sausage), and they're pretty quick. All things that I would expect from a good pizza shop. However, on the downside, the place doesn't look clean to me- I can't speak to whether it actually is or not; but just looking at it, I didn't get a huge sense of cleanliness. The decor is old and tired, not sure I would ever stay here and eat my food, it's more of a to go place. Probably the biggest downside is how this store's employees never seem to wear face masks. I've probably been here a half dozen times since Covid started and there's always at least some of the employees working in the counter and food prep area without a mask. Normally this would be a solid 3 for me, but gonna go with 4 for now since I know all restaurants are struggling. read more

The food was okay. Nothing to cry home about, definitely not a place I would find myself frequenting. Food was delivered timely no complaints on the freshness of food. However, I ordered 3 things. The garlic knots, buffalo wings, and cheese steak. (I probably should have stuck with pizza but there wasnt a slice option on the Slice app. Not that I saw anyway) everything looked amazing but nothing and I mean nothing was flavorful. Cheesesteak was not seasoned. Barely any cheese. I added ketchup and mayo that did not help. Barely tasted that. Garlic knots were sitting in oil but there wasnt any flavor to that either even with the sauce. Buffalo wings aside from not being well done as requested were just plain old buffalo wings. Dipping sauce is not included but will be provided at an additional costs. I paid 50¢ for ranch and it came in a sample cup. I mean tiny little cup. I ended up mixing the cheesesteak with the ranch and buffalo sauce in an attempt to make it flavorful and that helped but a little salt and pepper would have made the sandwich better. read more

All together not too bad...we got a large plain and a cheesesteak pizza also an antipasta salad which they forgot to bring....the man offered to bring it back but I didn't want to bother so he knocked the money off the bill instead which was nice...for a large plain and a cheesesteak pizza it came out to $38 not to bad considering the price of a good pie nowadays read more

Been coming here for the past 16+ yrs (since I moved to the area) and this is my go to pizzeria locally. I am from a town 30 mins away that is totally Italian and a pizzeria on almost every other block (lol). My friends and places I dj at weekly, in that area are always asking me to bring pizza with me. Doesn't look like much, however those are the places that make the best food. Plus the prices are extremely reasonable in comparison to other pizzeria's in the area. Not everyone is gonna like everywhere, however ya gotta stop in and give it a try!!! read more

My review is based on how dirty their facilities are and the lack of appropriate necessities to keep their employees AND customers hands clean. (Please SEE PHOTOS) I just imagine that none of their staff washes since they have to make a dash with wet hands to grab paper towels elsewhere, outside of the restroom! Makes me wonder, what else is in their food? I only ordered a slice of pizza, which after handling my money, the attendant proceeded to bag the slice with his thumb on the crust. An unpleasant experience with a lack of common friendliness. Yah, I ate the pizza, (sans the crust) I paid for it! I honestly can't comment on any other food items since all I had was a plain slice. If I could give zero stars I would! I ordered Fresh Mozzarella w/ Roasted Peppers and Sun Dried Tomatoes, with Grilled Chicken and Sautéed onions. They charged me $16.50 and I waited pretty much an hour for the salad (no exaggeration... I called at 2pm and it arrived at 2:57). I did called to see why it was taking so long for a grilled chicken salad; and the response I received was that "the driver is an old man that was really slow and to give him time cause he would be there". If I wasn't so busy at work, I would have stepped out and grabbed lunch. After the long wait and $16.50 later, you would think the salad was going to be just as you ordered it... NOPE! I didn't get what I ordered. It had regular sliced tomatoes instead of sun dried tomatoes... roasted peppers were raw green peppers... there were chopped carrots and cucumbers in the salad... A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SALAD FROM WHAT I ORDERED. I feel bamboozled for my money. I called Tucky's about the issue and what he said was that he would give me 50% off my next order. NO THANK YOU... Quality of the pizza surpasses any other establishment, they also have a wide assortment of options on the menu. They make all the pizzas fresh and all ingredients are made in store using only the highest quality. All Employees are bilingual which is great! For buying lunch for a group of hungry oil refinery operators, no local pizza place does it better than Tucky's. The word "pizza" in their name may be deceiving as their menu is extensive; they've everything from hot and cold hoagies to baked dishes like lasagna and chicken parm, to wings and salads. It can be difficult to decide whether to try something new or stick it out for the lasagna you've been craving all morning. When I need to feed a lot of people and need a variety of options to satisfy them, Tucky's is my go-to. I've ordered from here at least a dozen times and it always leaves my customers happy. Tucky's Super Special Pizza is a favorite, as they basically throw everything but the kitchen sink on a pie. Their pies aren't overly greasy which is a huge selling point to me. Some people like to be able to watch the grease drip from their slice while they eat; that is no sign of a quality pie. My personal favorite is the baked chicken parm dish with ziti. Throw a couple more bucks on top of the reasonable price and you'll get a salad and bread with each order. This place absolutely blows local shops Anacapri, Little Italy and Mikey's pizza out of the water as far as over all quality and selection go. However, if you want your pie with crispy crust you have to specifically ask for it "well done" or it will come out floppy. read more

Delivery always takes about an hour 1/2 but their food is on point so I never even cared - I just order a pizza when I'm not hungry and by the time it gets here - who knows. Anyway, today I placed an order when I woke up, by lunch time it was here, went to go take a bite of my slice and saw a hair - pulled it out and it was at least 4" long. Ugh! SO skeeved out. Our company ordered 6 pies from here today: (2) Plain (2) Pepperoni (2) Vegetable They were all nice and crisp (NOT BURNT) and delicious. A bit of grease, but not overwhelming, actual perfect in my book. They advised 45 minutes and were right on time. Price was just over $100 for all with 3 (2) liter bottles of Sprite. The place seems run down with signs everywhere. Management seems lacking. As to the pizza it had a giant puddle of greese from the cheese in the middle lacking sause. As a result the pizza was very salty and became soggy since it was thin. This is on the lower end of pizza in linden in my book it's sad to see the commuters from the linden train station get taken for another ride they weren't expecting. I went with friends to Tucky's for a retirement lunch & we ordered a pizza with crumbled sausage & green peppers and it was good. The second time I ordered a cheese steak with provolone but it had American cheese on it. O told the woman that took the order provolone. It was ok. I've had better. Ordered a slice of cheese cake and they forgot it in my order. When it did arrive it had a long black curly hair in it. I'm assuming it's from the woman that took my order. Messed up my night especially after paying $3.25 for the slice but I really had a taste for it & was disgusted - threw it away. I did call Tucky's back to let the woman know that hair was in my cheesecake - not to resend another slice. At this point, I was pissed off. Just go there to eat don't order for delivery. read more

As ubiquitous as pizza joints are in NJ, you would think that it wouldn't be that hard to find a great slice that is as fresh and delicious as the generic box promises. It has been for me, until now. I was incredibly disappointed by our last order from Scaturro's in Clark, with the chicken in a chicken parm dish that seemed old and a lumpy, flavorless alfredo sauce. That place has really gone downhill, so the fiance and I were in desperate need of a new go-to place. Going into the city periodically, I noticed there was a pizza joint right across from the eastbound tracks, so we gave them a shot after I got home one night. Delicious pizza (love the buffalo and meatball), generous dinner entrees, wraps, and even the salad rocks. Comes with this awesome ciabatta roll. Delivery is SUPER quick, too. Good Italian food at reasonable prices. Primarily a pizza and sub restaurant but they do have a large varied dinner menu. It's primarily a take-out and delivery place although they do have a bare-boned dining area with little ambiance. While their food would be a strong four star rating, their downfall is in their take-out and delivery service. Flimsy packaging causes dinner containers to partially collapse during transport. On numerous occasions multiple container have been stacked causing a mess upon arrival. Delivery pizzas are normally delivered in hot insulated bags but placed on slanted front car seats; they arrive hot but with the cheese and toppings flowing to one side and into the pizza box. Over the YEARS, Tuck's has been made aware of these problems -- but I keep coming back. So, for take-out delivery I give them two stars. Go ahead and order their good/great food but don't be surprised if your pizza and dinners arrived in a sloppy mess. read more

Pizza is really good. The delivery though, is a joke. The longest I waited for 2 pizza pies was 1 hour and 47 minutes. I timed it because they always take forever, and the time before that was an hour and a half. They also only have one delivery person, which is sad. Just go in and get you pizza. read more

This is my go-to linden pizza joint. We literally order from here at least twice a month. I sometimes wonder if my husband and daughter are half ninja turtle.... Anyway, to the pizza! Great quality- never too sweet, never too doughy. Cooked perfectly- I usually order mine well done. Sauce to cheese to crust ratio is perfect.
