We live 4 min away and have passed by III Amici many times but didn't know behind the simple sign and the bushes, there is a cosy old school Italian restaurant!! I love when they put the the bowl of parmesan cheese on the table, so you POUR as much as you like!! The thing I saw mostly in Italy. My Penne Alla Vodka ($17.95) was light, low acidic, and delicious. Although crispy and warm, the shared bread was a baguette with butter but no dipping oil. We asked for the olive oil and the waiter read our mind and was so kind to come back with a plate of olive oil, parmesan cheese, and oregano mix. The inside was quite and cosy. Attended a wedding party here and was highly disappointed. I arrived earlier than the bride & groom to be seated in the room and the employees right away were super nasty and had a disgusted look on her face and said aren't u late. Yes the party ran 30 mins late it's a wedding, stuff happens... that doesn't give them any right to be rude to guest at a wedding. When the Bride & Groom walked in I could tell the bride was incredibly upset that the room we were in that was supposed to be rented out for us , was split into 2 with giving the wedding only half a hall , they were sitting other customers on the other side of the room DURING the wedding party!!!! With no divider wall or anything! The bride and groom complained as they thought they paid for the entire room and the owner simply said oops guess that was a miscommunication ... NOT okay. ESPECIALLY for the WEDDING!!! As we started eating and my entire table which was only 1/4 of the party noticed the employees talking poorly about ppl in the party,saying disrespectful comments even about the child in spanish.. not realizing we are portuguese and can clearly understand what's being said 3 feet away from our table. If anyone planned on having any events at III Amici's restaurant, DONT DO IT. Not only did the staff talk shit about our family members in Spanish the entire event as if my family isn't bilingual but they booked us for the main dining room hall for our our event then didn't honor the contract. They had other people dining in the hall we paid for stating they would never agree to rent out a dining room when we paid for it and have a signed contact for it. When I contacted them and stated I just wanted the service fee back as their waitresses were not only rude but talking poorly about family members, they refused to pay us anything back and continuously lied. We had multiple family members speak to the owner during this event more than I was even aware of in the moment. So not only do they lie, they don't honor their contracts, and now we have to contact our lawyers to dispute any and all charges made by this restaurant. Disgusting place and even more disgusting owners and staff. read more

The atmosphere is very friendly with exceptional staff in the bar. Dinner at the bar is always great because the food is fabulous and the staff takes pride in what they do and serve. The specials are always awesome but don't be afraid to order off the menu, all good dishes. The sauce's on dishes add a final touch to the great food. read more

Be warned: Do NOT dine at this restaurant. The owner & his employees are extremely rude & don't understand what the definition of "customer service" truly is. They should be shut down. Over the weekend I had the pleasure of seeing my best friends get married. They are a young couple with children who unfortunately were taken advantage of on the best day of their lives. They paid for a PRIVATE ROOM & signed a contract. They paid a lot of money for this. When we got there, the staff was extremely rude. They were speaking in Spanish and speaking horribly about us while walking around tables, not knowing the entire family also speaks Spanish & understood everything being said. To add, a private room was paid for, correct? So the meaning of private is for your event only since it was reserved. While eating a BUFFET style meal that was out in the front of the room, the restaurant seated another 2 tables in our room (food still out) and sang happy birthday out loud to them while we are celebrating a wedding. The audacity of how rude that was is crazy & to think they justified it by saying they did nothing incorrect is even more wild. They blamed US for the children (whom were 2 years old btw & acting very well behaved) & the staff was complaining in front of the entire family creating a happy experience to be bothersome to us. We are offended. They didn't attempt to make ANYTHING correct. Blamed us. What kind of customer service is that? They treated us like animals. They were rude. Offended us. Had no care in the world for what contract they outlined. They are greedy here. They don't care about their customers & only their personal gain. Do not ever eat here. Do not book an event here. They will steal from you like they did to us. Speaking to others, they've also had similar experiences here. This post will continuously be spread until my friend gets her money back for the sorry excuse for a "service" you had offered. I just called the restaurant to place an order because we were planning on making reservations for Sunday to celebrate a birthday. Would've been a party of 15 people. I have never been here and was recommended. So, I wanted to order a dish: linguini Alfredo with chicken and steak $40. Not a big deal to me. But made huge on the receiving end. 1/22022 7pm. Woman kept repeating I need your credit card because it's $40dollars. I said pick up paying cash. Repeated that 3 times regardless of anything different I asked. I then asked: would you rather I came in and placed the order, payed in cash right now instead. At first she didn't understand me because she kept pressing that she needs my card because the total of my order is $40 dollars. I hanged up and decided to drive away. After sitting outside of their establishment feeling uneasy because on second thoughts I wondered hat kind of service would we receive if I go through with the birthday dinner? Nope! Went to a party recently, the staff was rude and stingy. Food quality is poor to fair at best. The party room is in the basement. No windows. YUK! Neighborhood is mixed, commercial and industrial. When I order food at a restaurant I generally look at the ingredients and choose accordingly based on my likes or dislikes. When the dish is presented to me by my server I expect the dish to accurately represent what was displayed on the menu. For the most part that was accurately done with exception of one ingredient I was not expecting which will cause me not to return to III Amici ever again. That extra ingredient was tobacco from a patron not even eating on the outdoor porch. I, as a customer should not have to get into a confrontation with another customer based on a restaurant's inadequate rules. The menu should have clearly stated that my seafood salad and my mushroom pasta dish would have had the putrid stench of cigar tobacco in my meal. That was not disclosed on the menu as an ingredient I would be ingesting as I begrudingly ingested with each and every bite. This won't be happening again since cigarettes, cigars and other smoke products are something I do not enjoy ingesting while having my meal. But hey thats just me. If you don't mind ingesting tobacco with your meal than III Amicis restaurant is the restaurant for you. read more

I would probably originally give this restaurant 3 Stars but the 4th Star is earned because of the Chef's exceptional hospitality and courtesy! The food is amazing but the menu lacked any vegan options... but the Chef graciously came out to meet me and to offer me a customized vegan option which was DELICIOUS!! Both my wife (non-vegan) and I were VERY pleased with our dish's flavor and portions. Having said that, the restaurant is elegant but small, tight and loud. Service was excellent which offset the overall experience. We will be back but only during off-peak hours. Great location though parking can be tough. read more

First visit to this restaurant and all I can say is: "Wow!" I was greeted by Bibi and within a few minutes I felt like a long time customer. The decor has an understated elegance, yet the atmosphere is casual and comfortable. I ordered a vodka martini. The martini is a fairly simple drink but very few bartenders make it well. This one was perfect. The menu is extensive and I couldn't decide between the Veal Saltimbocca or Filet Mignon with provolone and balsamic vinaigrette sauce. Bibi assured me both are excellent, I decided on the steak, and ordered another martini. OMG the Filet Mignon was like something sent from Heaven. I'll bet that veal was pretty good too, but I was happy with my choice. The veggies were delicious, prepared al dente - sautéed in garlic and oil. The Caesar salad was also excellent and I enjoyed an espresso and sambuca for dessert. I was introduced to Giovanni, the owner, and he was a real gentleman. He was eating at the table next to me. While we weee eating ants we're on our plates . In the men and women s bathroom both had ants in there, they knew about it , said the exterminator came the day before. My husband was working in the area during the Covid closings of restaurants and restaurants were just allowed to open their patios that week. I called and made a reservation and when we got there we were seated right away. The service was exceptional and it looked like many patrons were locals and knew each other. The food was amazing, I had the Chicken Parm and he had the Veal. A gentleman came around to make sure all was ok (presume the owner) and I thought that was very nice. Everything was soooo good that we went back 2 nights later rather than try another restaurant. When we walked up, I said, "We're back" and the hostess/waitress said, "Chris and Gordon, right?" I was amazed she remembered because my husband's name wasn't on the reservation! This night was just as great as the first. This will now be our "go to" restaurant when he is working there!! read more

I hosted a Baby Shower here, had not had an opportunity to try the food ahead of time, just chose it based on recommendation from a friend, package prices and the location. Just let me say, the food exceeded my expectations. On the day of the event, the staff was accommodating and very conscientious of time, making sure everything flowed according to schedule for this 4 hour event. Based on the food alone I would consider hosting another event here. My tip to anyone hosting an event here is to beware that there is a $1.00/per person "cake cutting fee" if you bring your own cake; in addition, soda is not included in the packages; these are things that I didn't notice initially although it is written on the back on the brochure and can drastically effect the pricing. My favorite thing on our menu was the Penne with Voka Sauce and the baked Salmon; I absolutely loved it and I'm sure you will too. I was her for a private dinner party. Food was great no complaints on that. However the bartender was overwhelmed with orders from inside the bar area and from the outside dining area. They either need an additional bartender or other staff really need to be taught how to pitch in when one team member is down.
