What an amazing find!! Traveling to see a LAX game at Kean and it was close. Little did we know this unassuming little "tavern" would treat us to a delicious burger and chicken cutlet sandwich, but the most delicious, tender and perfectly fried breaded steak I've had since traveling in South America. The service was fantastic and attentive, even asking if we were ok if they turned of the music to raise the volume in the TV. The ambiance is friendly and lively, we sat inside to watch soccer (FIFA on all TVs) and had just an amazing time at this great establishment. This place is cute they have an indoor with two floors on the weekends they have a live dj. They also have an outdoor patio where you can eat. I came here just to get a couple of drinks with a friend and the service was good from the door. I couldn't even sit down and the bartender was ready to serve me. There were anout 3 bartenders and they all were good. They made sure we were ok the whole time. I didn't eat but the food smelled bery good. Talk about a hidden gem! I've been living in this area for about a year now and can not believe I just found this place yesterday! This place is the best meal I've had in the Linden/Elizabeth area yet! While it doesn't look much from the outside, please don't let that stop you! The spanish clams were the best appetizer we've had. The calamari was very good as well as the entree skirt steak and shrimp. Pedro, the manager introduced himself and informed us that he used to have 3 restaurants in NY and eventually made his way here. Makes perfect sense because the food is most certainly NY quality. Terrible service . The woman who work there don't care about anyone but the thirsty men who throw money at them. Server came up to us twice . We spend $175 dollars and had the absolute worst time and I usually love the place. I asked for the manager and apparently no boss or manager was available. Gratuity was included which is BS . They don't deserve to have gratuity all they do is take orders and walk away . No suggestions no recommendations. Waiting 20 minutes to pay and the server was eating food at the bar. Love it here the food is great i always get the the Salmon with tomatoe and capers, so so good. Really everything is great , the place is hopping at night 2 floors and you can enjoy outdoor dining come warm weather! Also they have a great menu and they make great mango margaritas so give it a try, it is mostly spanish music, but they have a great jukebox. read more

Went there last night. The sangira was delicious. For appetizers we had the fried zucchini and it was very good. We also ordered the columbiana sampler plate. Everything was seasoned amazing and we also ordered the garlic shrimp. Very good. For my main course I had the black linguine with shrimp, asparagus, and mushrooms in a spicy marinara sauce. I must say the linguine was amazing and I probably could of eaten it by itself. Me and my girlfriend's got there around 8 and stayed till 245am. Terrible lunch service. Ordered a dish and salad. After 30 minutes of not even receiving the salad we asked for it to go. After 45 minutes they asked us to move to another table since they were doing some moving of wires. At that time I asked how much longer the waitress told us 20 more minutes. We said just charge us the soda we drank waiting. The whole time she was flirting with a guy at the bar, or talking to her friend that had kids jumping around. Very unprofessional.
