This is my second time here but first review. We went to celebrate my daughter getting into the nursing program. We were seated quickly. I had the chicken enchiladas. They were wonderful and tasteful. I haven't enchiladas like that in a long time. I had churros for dessert. Loved that they gave a bowl of chocolate with them as an option to dip. The decor is spectacular. From pictures of musicians on the wall and the waiting area has two benches one with musician mug shot and the other with the last supper with musicians who passed on. read more

Chef / Owner Joe and his staff were amazing this past Saturday. This is our 2nd graduation party at the Red Cadillac and it won't be our last. The food was spectacular (everyone from our 25 + person party complimented the various dishes that came out from the Chips/Guac, to the Shrimp in Garlic sauce to the various tacos; Strawberry Jalapeno simply off the charts amazing), but the service may have even been better. We never waited more than a minute or so for requests, drinks etc. and the staff was so pleasant throughout our party. And Joe came out several times to chat and ensure that everything was going smoothly with the service, food, drinks etc. Could not recommend them more for a celebration! read more

Great vibe inside! I got a strawberry marg and my friend got a sangrita. Love the drinks here - they're soooo strong (in a good way ;)). Guac was chunky and super yummy. I also love a good chunky guac with onions and tomato. The chips were delicious! They were different than the chips they first put on the table with salsa and were way better. The baked chips were delicious. For entrees, I went with two other people and we split two order of the tacos and a chicken enchilada. The two people I went with had been to red cadillac and took me just for these strawberry jalapeño tacos because they knew I'd love. They were AMAZING. Such unique flavor with the strawberry and chicken with breaded and cooked so well. Definitely would get again. We all agreed we'd pass on the enchiladas next time, didn't have a ton of flavor. The Ambiance is cozy , and music is a nice addition to the atmosphere of the restaurant. The service was excellent, the staff was always checking on us and routinely to make sure everything was ok. On to the food : we ordered Abuela's empanadas. it was good ; They were nice and flakey and the dip it came with really elevated the taste for us . Pulled pork mac n cheese : the pork was juicy and melted in your mouth and I think it was a lot better than the Mac n cheese itself . The Mac was fine but the star here was the pulled pork for sure . Beef tacos : I thought they were good , flavorful and the meet was juicy. I dunno if it was just me but the tacos had a slight heat to them that made it even better Fried ice cream: I've had fried ice cream all the time, but never at a Mexican restaurant. This was the only dish that we thought they dropped the ball on . The breading was really hard to scoop into. That combined with the basic vanilla ice cream; we really weren't feeling it Overall, The Red Cadillac was a good place but we thought it was going to be better . It wasn't at all bad . The drinks were good, the customer service was excellent and the music was a nice touch to enjoy the food and conversation. Parking could be an issue as the lot is small behind the restaurant. Valet parking is available on busy nights or park across the street in the bank parking lot when the bank is closed. Would we return? The answer is yes. read more

This wasn't a close place for me to get to. To be honest I didn't really want to go. So here is my reaction WoW flavor !!!! They said it was like a Mexican restaurant and it has me questioning what I've been eating in the past. Outrageous. Service was above expectations for such a hole in the wall out of the way location (well at least for me). I can honestly say the entire party I was with was treated like family. I have driven by this place so many times, and honestly I noticed a cool Cadillac in front but didn't think anything of it. So when I was invited to stop by I definitely had to go in! I was blown away, the decor is so cool complete with steering wheel and hubcaps on the wall , The most beautiful amazing chandeliers you have ever seen and a full bar with neon signs everywhere great for photo ops! The food is even more fantastic, authentic scratch made Mexican dishes that you can tell have been made by the chef with love! I started with the strawberry margarita on the rocks, strong and delicious and also some chicken quesadillas which were hot and cheesy. I then had the garlic shrimp, which I've eaten hundreds of times and this is by far the best I've ever tasted. I had the fish tacos and the strawberry glaze jalapeño chicken tacos, both blew me away. I also had a chance to sample the tequila that they make in house. You can grab a bottle on the liquor store shelf, Cadillac tequila. Can get pretty crowded, especially on the weekends, so make sure to go early. They home make their flavored tequilas which is nice if you want to switch it up from classics. Had an amazing meal at The Red Cadillac! The Margartias were very strong and the food was absolutely delicious! We went on a great week because they had Big Mac Tacos as their special... SO GOOD! I also really loved the shrimp, tempora tacos, they were so tasty! The Chicken Flautas came with a cheese sauce at the bottom that I could NOT get enough of! Jolie and the staff checked in on us frequently to make sure we were ok and to see if we needed refills or anything else! Definitely a great spot in Union that is worth checking out! read more

If you're looking for a great spot to go to that serves incredible food, top notch alcohol and has a kick a$$ ambiance, this is the place for you. The vibe and atmosphere of the place capture you as soon as you walk in. The staff is always welcoming and pleasant, and they share the work together, so the teamwork is on point, AND you're never waiting an excessive amount of time for a server to appear in case you need anything. They make their own tequila, and it is some of the best I've tried. They have 6 flavors on the menu - pinapple, peach, mango, jalapeño, coconut and pb&j - and every single one of them is great quality and goes down smooth (including the pb&j)! In addition to having a regular menu that caters to those who like to have their go-to foods, they have daily specials that cater to those like who love to try new things. Of the many things I have tried here, I have never received an item that wasn't fresh and full of flavor; food has always exceeded my expectations so that I look forward to my leftovers. First time back in a while but finally made the worth while trip and visit. A few changes inside that are very noticeable. More seats; upgraded decor; new brand of Tequila - Red Cadillac Brand. The menu is smaller but the food is as good as always. I still recommend the fish tacos. 3 large tacos never disappoint. Non stop chips that are always fresh. And the margaritas are still the best. There were 4 of us so of course we did a pitcher (or 2). They've bottled their famous mango tequila so you have to get a few shots. Not too sweet and really smooth. They sell it by the bottle now! They don't take reservations (never have) so be prepared to have a drink at the bar first although during this visit it was not very crowded. 5/2/20 Came here for dinner. Was craving tacos and after searching near by restaurants, I realized it was an interesting find. Upon pulling up, you notice a red Cadillac in the front of the store and the restaurant is setup like a drive thru, where there's a ringing cord you drive over. There were many cars coming, it was a hot spot for sure! It didn't take long to get my food. The cashiers were friendly and accommodating. I ordered fish tacos, Mexican street corn, chips and salsa and guacamole. Unfortunately, thanks to crazy drivers slamming on their brakes, my guacamole container got lost under my seat when I hit the brakes and I didn't find it until the next day. When I went to have my meal, at first, I was frustrated bc I was missing the guacamole, only to find it in the morning. Regardless, the food was so good and I would most definitely return here again if and when in the area. read more

Had a great meal here over the weekend. We ordered the guacamole and chips, Chicken Taquitos, Chicken Fajitas, Mexican Street Corn off the cob, and the Chrome Margarita. All were soooo good! The ambiance inside is very nice, from the outside you wouldn't expect it. Service was a bit interesting in that we didn't have a dedicated server, we were told everyone works together. The only thing that was a turn off to me is that we had to do valet parking. read more

We got seated quickly on Father's Day and served right away. The waitress was polite and got our orders in. The smoky salsa is always amazing and super tasty. We ordered the Mexican street corn and it was a hit! I ordered the coconut grouper tacos and all I can say was they were absolutely amazing. The crispy coconut on the fish and the absolutely delicious pico on top was absolutely amazing. They were cooked perfectly. My girlfriend had the shrimp tacos and she loved them as well! Only recommendation would be table side prep! This served with flour tortillas which was lovely touch and nice departure from the complimentary corn tortillas and salsa which were also fresh and warm! For entrees I went with the shrimp and chicken fajitas. My husband had the fish tacos and my son went off script with the soft shell tacos. Everything was very good except the soft shell crab tacos. We could be biased as we spent a few years in Maryland where it doesn't get any fresher for crabs. Highly recommend a visit. read more

Ambience is nice and trendy. The food taste and portions are great and on Valentines Day they had the sweetest waitress. She was so attentive and was the only waitress from what I saw.
