The food is always delicious, had the birria tacos with consume like I always do. Can't mess with perfection, it's soooo yummy!! The service was very on point, we were given menus as soon as we sat down. This place always has a nice atmosphere and nice decor. It's clean and neat. The restroom is clean and smells good too!! They will always be a local go-to for birria tacos.

Nice restaurant. Good service. Went there around 4pm and ordered some dishes for take out. Nicely decorated place with nice murals. Nice extensive menu. We ordered beef/chicken fajitas, guac w/chips, beef/chicken tacos. They were all good. Tacos was little on dry side. Guac was fresh. I recommend anyone looking for Mexican good in Union area to check this place out. They have nice looking display of deserts, will try next time. They gave us some sauces, red was nice and spicy.

Terrible decision to try this place. I got four tacos, two chicken, two beef. Absolutely no flavor, smelly food, just overall a bad experience. I will never spend my money here again.

Never had goat meat melt in my mouth. We enjoyed it. My son devoured the Barbacoa before I can even take a picture. Food came out quick, music was great, service was great. Definitely will return

I don't know what took me so long to find this place! It's hard to find a taco place that is also dine-in so I was really excited to try. The prices are a little high in my opinion - $11 for guac, $20 for 4 birria tacos. The other tacos are standard price, $3-4 per taco. You can mix and match the tacos you order. For guacamole and 10 tacos the bill was $70 after tip. The guacamole was so good! Very creamy. The birria tacos were probably the best out of all the tacos we ordered. Juicy tender beef and a very flavorful consommé broth to dip them in. You can get with or without cheese but we got cheese (recommend)! For the other tacos, we got Al pastor, chorizo, and shrimp. The al pastor needed some seasoning I think. The chorizo definitely packs a punch in comparison. The shrimp was great too. I think they make their tortillas in house, the taco shells tasted fresh. The food came out very quickly as well. Clean bathrooms and dining area.

The tacos are on point! Ordered the birria and al pastor tacos and both were super tasty! I've had some of the best birria in the Mexican food hub of Southern California and these are the most authentic in NJ. The four tacos are filled with perfectly tasty and tender beef, and they are served with a small bowl of consomme. The soup is thicker than what I've had in SoCal, but it's a well-balanced blend of savory, salty and spicy. The al pastor tacos were good too, though not nearly as delicious as the birria. Alla tacos are served with generous sides of salsas (red and green), pico de gallo, radish slices and limes. I ordered online through UberEats and the food was ready for pickup at the counter ahead of the estimated time. The staff are friendly and efficient, high recommend for take out or eat in!

Tacos Mexican grill..... WOW. I'm been chasing down a good Birria taco and I finally found one that I adore. It was so good that I once again failed to take a photo.... AND I HAD IT TWICE BEFORE LEAVING THIS REVIEW. I've only had takeout, but I'm looking forward to dining in the next time because the place is darn cute. The staff is super friendly and attentive. They have a good selection of tea as well and there is AMPLE PARKING. The have a back entrance also, so you won't have to journey far from the parking lot before freezing. Just to remove any bias from my one sided opinion, my picky tiny broke best friend (my daughter) was UTTERLY IMPRESSED and has been begging to return. So far I have had the Birria tacos and the birria Quesadilla. I have also had the guac which I wasn't a fan of only because of the tomatoes. Definitely making this spot a go to.

Service and ambiance was amazing however the food could have been better. The conse is my favorite part of eating tacos and I didn't really enjoy. It tasted watery and not much flavorful.

I can't believe this place is still three and a half stars. Should be easily 5. Minimum 4.5. Everything I have ordered here is amazing. Just give it a shot and I promise you'll love it!!!

Decided to try Tacos Mexican grill based on a referral for good Birria tacos. When I arrived it was fairly empty inside, the staff was pleasant. While waiting for my order I was told about their juices and their selection of desserts. I went with the limonade, which was delicious and I ordered the Quesa Birria tacos. They were huge! Cilantro, diced onions, red and green salsa comes on the side. The tortillas were very soggy and tasted a bit stale but the beef and cheese inside was good with dipping stew.

First time trying this place for takeout. The food was made so fast and all the ingredients taste fresh and well-seasoned. Today we ordered: Quesadilla with El Pastor (pork & pineapple) Shrimp tacos Tamarind Juice The food is really good and the portions are big. My mom was extra happy bc she said the tamarind juice taste like her childhood in the Philippines. She said it tastes just like the juice her mom would make by picking fresh tamarind and adding sugar and water. I'm not sure if this place makes it from scratch, but it taste just as fresh! It was my first time trying tamarind juice and it was BOMB! I'll definitely get my own next time. Also the size of the juice was really big, to be honest me and my mom could share it. Definitely worth the price. Overall, this place was really yummy. The food came out quick too! I'll definitely be coming back when i'm craving some Mexican food.

Typical "Mexican" restaurant interior with both high top seating & standard table seating. Staff were friendly and efficient, drinks were nice a strong. Food was good and this place could definitely be a local spot to go to on a whim. We had Quesadillas de Birria, Volcano Burrito-which they cut up and classify it as "sushi burritos," and Margaritas. It is important to note that the complimentary chips and salsa were good. Everything was good and I would suggest if someone was asking for something in the area, albeit I would run back here on a normal day. For some of us, it might simply call for going out and getting tacos or even just preparing our own. Situated in the middle of a residential neighborhood in Roselle Park, this establishment is set inside a small corner suburban home where some of my colleagues decided on takeout, which came highly recommended. Upon arrival at Taqueria La Casita, or "The Little House Taqueria," we were confronted outside by the neon signage reading "Tacos Open" and Mexican flags, among other pieces of colorful decor. Greeted by the staff inside an un-air-conditioned cozy dining room decked out in its Mexican splendor with 4 tables. In the back, a colorful menu with nearly a dozen different types of tacos and an array of other dishes written by hand. We opted for individual orders containing 4 tacos with Shrimp, Chicken, Steak, and Pork. While waiting, we couldn't help but notice the trompo--the spinning, shawarma-adjacent log of marinated pork used for Al Pastor, which translates to "in the style of the shepherd." Originating in Puebla, this came at the hands of Lebanese immigrants during the 1930s. The tortilla itself was freshly made, of the corn variety. They were stuffed to the brim with meat prepared in front of us and served with cucumbers and lime. Fresh condiments of diced onion, cilantro, and avocado were separated in their own container, and all were needed. Various sauces accompanied in small containers, such as green, which was jalapeño-based; the darker red salsa was smoky from dried and smoked chipotle chilis; and neon orange, which was a sauce made from chili de arbol and tomato. The guacamole was absolutely delicious along with the chips, and we couldn't get enough. The portion was a healthy size. The service was fast; Maribel was friendly and accommodating. Authentic, fresh, and affordable--we can recommend this place.
