Steak fajitas (I wish it came with some extras such as sour cream or guacamole- those are extra $)

Always good, fast, consistent food here at Grill Creations. It's bring your own here.

Fried Yuca - on the greasy side

We had great service here and the food comes out fast. Its just that the food needs a little more umph to have us return. We were excited to see yuca on the menu but it was entirely too greasy. Wish the enchiladas were offered with a red or even molé sauce and the beans had some liquid cheese on top rather than real cheese that stretches when you dip a chip!

Delicious chicken flautas taco platters, except not a fan of their refried beans- a bit too thin and flavorless- other than that food is great and fresh. Friendly service. Cozy, colorful ambience. Definitely recommend

Another great meal at Grill Creations! Service was fast and friendly. Food came quick and delicious as always. I had the red enchiladas today, with rice and refried beans.

The atmosphere here is wonderful like the food!

So we came here because one of my brothers wanted to come here for his bday. He wanted Mexican Located in Garwood. There is a small parking lot for the building . Otherwise it is street parking We were seated right away. Inside was simple but decorated nicely. Staff greeted us immediately and were friendly. Our waitress was great. Young but very personable and attentive. It's a BYOB. No alcohol but they had juices and soda. Complimentary Salsa and chips were standard - nothing too amazing. Guacamole appetizer did not seem freshly made. I would bet that it was refrigerated guacamole since it was not made in front of us and had that refrigerated guacamole taste. That was my only gripe really I was nervous about the entrees after the guacamole but then I was pleasantly surprised on how tasty all the entrees were. I had the Enchiladas with chipotle chicken- came with large amount of rice and refried pinto beans. The green sauce was delicious Others had the Fundido with chicken, the baked steak chimichanga, the mar y Tierra and the churrasco asado. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. I tried them all and they were good! The churrasco steak especially was marinated very well! I was impressed I did not stick around for dessert but if I did I would have wanted to try the churros since I love those. I would not mind coming back here again !

Decent Mexican in a comfortable spot in Garwood. In the Westfield area, there aren't a ton of Mexican restaurants so I've been meaning to check this place out for a while. They give out a coupons in the mail but unfortunately none are good on the weekend. The vibe inside is okay - a lot of tables, minimal decor, a TV in the corner - seems sort of like a quick casual spot. They do alot of takeout so there is a designated spot for that. Chips and spicy salsa to start - very good crispy chips. The menu is massive and has a separate spot for some veggie/vegan options and gluten free options which was nice. Literally everything you could think of was there (tacos, burritos, fajitas, quesadillas, fish dishes, etc.) My only critique was that alot of the main dishes like enchiladas and mole poblano don't have veggie options. We started with the beef nachos ($10.95) with guac (extra charge) which was delicious. A healthy helping of toppings which I loved. I got the veggie chimichanga ($9.75) which was massive. Veggies had good flavor and tasted really fresh. My husband got the grilled chicken burrito ($8.75) which he loved. I will be back for sure - especially for takeout!

It's a very casual, cafeteria-style spot with a semi-open kitchen, but don't let the simplicity fool you -- the food is incredible and the staff here is friendly and patient. The highlight of the experience is the small buffet that features a variety of freshly-made Latin cuisine -- including pulled pork, chicken and beef stews, and other traditional Latin entrees and sides. You can build your own plate by selecting one or more entrees and sides - which are priced accordingly. As a 'gringo' who wasn't entirely sure what everything was, I really appreciated them taking the extra time to explain all the different options and give me their honest recommendations. The counterstaff is bilingual and were pretty patient with my elementary school level Spanish vocabulary and grammar. I ended up going with the pulled pork platter with two sides ($7) and it was terrific -- the perfectly seasoned and tender pork, black beans and rice, and macaroni salad were delicious and very filling. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, and the portions are very generous for the price. If you're looking for authentic, home-style Latino food in a laid-back setting, this is the spot! PRO TIP #1: Bring a bottle of wine or beer from home to enjoy with your meal. Sazon Latino is a BYOB establishment and does not serve alcohol. PRO TIP #2: Sazon Latino offers free off-street parking in a small lot behind the restaurant and there's plenty of free on-street parking on Main Street.

I finally decided to put it to bed and check back in. Still no clear way to know what you're getting or how much you'll pay. But I can now help - What they call a "buffet" is really just the trays where you pick what you want to load on your plate. A buffet with meat and 1 side is $7.99. Add a dollar for each additional side. Add a few dollars if you want two meats or double meat. So with that pricing in mind, you can mix and match what you'd like. And it's still a great value. I don't know what tasted stale last time, but the two I had this time - the stewed chicken and their sausage - were both great. The sausage carried a little bit of heat to it, and they threw in hot sauces for the chicken (they asked!). I had yuca fries and they were wonderful as I let them marinate in the stew. So update: This is now added to my Boonton rotation. I'm glad I gave them a second try.

We came as walk-ins on a Saturday night and were able to get a table for two right away. They offer your traditional Colombian cuisine along with a full bar and bakery. The digital menus provide descriptions in English and have photos of every item, so don't worry if you can't speak Spanish. The atmosphere is incredibly lively, so it's perfect for celebrations. They have a DJ that pumps out some great Latin tunes! You can tell everyone (including the servers) are having a great time. Definitely not the place for an intimate conversation, so come earlier if you want to avoid a lot of noise. We ordered... *Pechuga A La Colombiana $18.95 - My entrée was grilled chicken breast topped with creamy mushroom sauce and maduros (sweet plantains). It came with the option of two sides, so I chose tostones (fried plantains) and arroz blanco (white rice). First of all, the portion size was HUGE... enough to be split into two meals!!! The chicken was seasoned with cumin, scallions, onion, and more. The tenderness of the chicken and the richness of the sauce paired so well together. The tostones were deep fried to perfection with a crispy and salty exterior. The white rice was fluffy and cooked with oil, salt, and garlic, which complemented the entire meal. *Bistec A Caballo $17.95 - A hearty dish! This was grilled steak topped with fried eggs, served in hogao (tomato and onion sauce). The steak was juicy, tender, and well marinated in a blend of spices. The hogao sauce was tangy, savory, and rich. We also got a side of frijoles (beans), which were really good. *Frozen Mango Margarita ~$15 - The drink was sweet and refreshing as expected, but the tequila was weak. It could've used another shot.... Or two. Noches has won me over with their great prices and generous portion sizes! It's now my go-to spot when I'm craving a satisfying Colombian meal.

They also have parking in the back, which is always a huge plus! When we arrived, there were only about three tables filled, but as the evening went on, more and more people started coming in. There was a steady flow of customers dining in, picking up takeout, and visiting their bakery. And let me tell you--the baked goods looked absolutely fabulous! I'll definitely be trying some next time. Our waiter, Joe, was fantastic! He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the entire evening. We started with the ceviche de chicharrón, and WOW--it was amazing! The combination of tostones, crispy chicharrón, the perfect amount of onions, and one of the best guacamoles I've had in quite a while made this an incredible appetizer. My husband ordered the fried fish, and it was so fresh and perfectly fried. It came with salad and tostones, and he absolutely loved it. My son and I both ordered the traditional Paisa dish, and the portions were HUGE! Everything on the plate was delicious and cooked perfectly. I added fried onions to my steak, and let me just say... THE BOMB! One more thing I forgot to mention--this restaurant is BYOB! Overall, we had a wonderful experience--from the food and portions to the service and atmosphere.
