We ordered takeout from here earlier today. They were really quick to make our pizza and garlic knots. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. The knots were really well seasoned. The only thing I will say is that the jalapeños weren't spicy. If they were, the pizza would have been perfect. I really only worked with staff while I placed the order and picked up but everyone was really nice. I can't comment on dine in experience since we got our food to go but there seemed to be a lot of space for seating for customers. I would be open to dining in next time. read more

This was in a mini strip mall. There seemed to be 2 sections for sitting, one more casual and the other more of a dining area. The menu had traditional pizzeria options. I ordered take out and the food came out in a timely matter. I had 2 slices of cheese pizza, ($2 each), a chicken Caesar wrap ($6.95), and a large chef salad ($9). The slices of pizza were okay. They were a little dry as there was not enough sauce present. The wrap consisted of romaine lettuce, chicken, roasted peppers, croutons, and Caesar dressing. The wrap was really filled to capacity. The Caesar dressing really brought everything together I thought. The roasted peppers was an interesting touch that went well with the rest of the components of the wrap. The chef salad consisted of lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, carrots, roast beef, turkey, and Swiss cheese with Italian dressing. Again, there was an abundance of fillings especially the meats. Stelton Pizza in a strip mall along a fairly busy road. There is plenty of parking and, once inside, plenty of seating. I don't recall there being many options behind the glass at the counter as far as getting slices to-go was concerned, but there was enough to make a selection. The staff was friendly and Halloween decorations were impressive and helped add to the atmosphere. The plain slice was flavorful with a good amount of sauce and a good amount of toasting of the cheese. The crust and base were crispy, though the crust did have a bit of excess flour that can be seen in my picture. The pasta slice was pretty good. I appreciated having the cheese over the pasta and I found that it helped contain the slice better than some others. I would definitely eat here again given the opportunity. read more

The eggplant parm especially had a ton of ricotta and a huge slice of eggplant on top, and while the flavor was good I felt like it wasn't good as a pizza. It makes me a little sad to write this review. Getting takeout pizza from Stelton used to be a special treat growing up. Cheese was gooey and stringy, sauce was abundant and tangy, and slices were as big as your face. Peppery and salty goodness. A great example of NJ pizza. Although the slices are still as big as your face, there's something off about the pizza. I had two slices and I just felt so saddened to see it reduced to a much more inferior version. Main problem was the cheese. I swear they have changed the type of cheese. It's really dense (even when heated) and it gets all chewy in the mouth-- like I'm chewing a stick of winterfresh. The sauce is also less and lacks that punch from its pizza glory days. I feel it in my native Piscataway bones that they've either changed owners over the last few months or that they've switched/downgraded on ingredients. The old Stelton cheese pizza used to taste amazing the day after, eaten cold, as well. This one...don't even try... woke up this moring and was like, "I'm going to try this one more time"... bleh. read more
