This is a mainstay of Piscataway and we need to support this place! It's been years since I've been here, but my new coworkers and I started ordering here every other week. The prices are unbelievable and the food is abundant. The free bread that comes with the pasta is bigger than the pasta itself, and it's very good on its own! The staff are so friendly and greet you like an old friend. The ambiance is super outdated, but that's part of the charm. The food, the service, and the place is the definition of "comfort food." Please continue to support Stelton Pizza so that it can stick around for years to come! read more

Stelton PIZZA - My takeout order of calzone and pasta - Pizza Near Me - Piscataway, New Jersey

I've been popping into Stelton Pizza for the better part of 15 yrs, and the quality has been rock-solid throughout. Whether I'm grabbing a quick slice or settling in with a full meal, they never disappoint. My two non-negotiables: the buffalo chicken pizza and the eggplant parm sandwich. 1) The buffalo slice is always on point with the perfect flavor, and you can almost always snag one on the fly. 2) The eggplant parm is a total winner, and here's a little secret why: they bake all their sandwich rolls fresh in-house! You can absolutely taste the difference. Most of their pizzas have a perfectly crisp, thin crust, and that audible crunch you get when you take a bite is just unmatched. This place is a true local gem that knows exactly what it's doing. read more

Stelton PIZZA - Buffalo Chicken slice to-go - Pizza Near Me - Piscataway, New Jersey

I tried few pizza types and they tasted horrible, bad quality of ingredients, regular oil instead of olive oil, disgusting...also they touch the slices with their hands directly. read more

Excellent home pizza that is flavorful, but best of all has a beautiful crisp to their crust which for me is imperative when speaking about good pizza. Their Buffalo chicken pizza is a customer favorite (Reason why my wife goes there ). All their other pies seem popular and just as good. I tried their plain and it was great. 8/10. read more

This place is absolutely amazing! I'm very picky about pizza and this is by far the best I've had in this region, including manhattan. The rest of their lengthy menu is outstanding. Their sauces, particularly alfredo, are five-star restaurant quality. Also there servings are quite large, so I get leftovers. I love leftovers! The staff is like family - we eat there a lot! Nicest people who give over the top service. Love me some Stelton Pizza! read more

Tried out a new Pizza place in my town and I'll be back for sure! Ambiance - spacious - plenty of seating - homey, classic pizzeria Service - staff was friendly - pizzas came out quickly once we grabbed a table Food - Margherita slice- I always have to get a Margherita slice at every pizzeria and this one did not disappoint! Tomato sauce was so zesty and fresh and the Mozz was perfectly chewy and meaty. The crust was also the perfect thinness for me - Eggplant Parmigiana slice- the slice of eggplant Parm fleas so huge that it filled up the pizza slice! Good balance of eggplant parm to tomato sauce. Crust was crunchy and at the perfect thinness for me Loved this spot, and I'm so glad that I discovered another pizzeria near me! read more

We ordered takeout from here earlier today. They were really quick to make our pizza and garlic knots. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. The knots were really well seasoned. The only thing I will say is that the jalapeños weren't spicy. If they were, the pizza would have been perfect. I really only worked with staff while I placed the order and picked up but everyone was really nice. I can't comment on dine in experience since we got our food to go but there seemed to be a lot of space for seating for customers. I would be open to dining in next time. read more

This was in a mini strip mall. There seemed to be 2 sections for sitting, one more casual and the other more of a dining area. The menu had traditional pizzeria options. I ordered take out and the food came out in a timely matter. I had 2 slices of cheese pizza, ($2 each), a chicken Caesar wrap ($6.95), and a large chef salad ($9). The slices of pizza were okay. They were a little dry as there was not enough sauce present. The wrap consisted of romaine lettuce, chicken, roasted peppers, croutons, and Caesar dressing. The wrap was really filled to capacity. The Caesar dressing really brought everything together I thought. The roasted peppers was an interesting touch that went well with the rest of the components of the wrap. The chef salad consisted of lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, carrots, roast beef, turkey, and Swiss cheese with Italian dressing. Again, there was an abundance of fillings especially the meats. It was an all-around good tasting salad. Will I go back? Sure. read more

My husband and I love their pizza! It is our new go-to spot since moving to the area. Pizza is fresh and their crust is crispy. My hubby is a sucker for crispy crust, so he's a huge fan. Haha. Service is super friendly. Restaurant is really like your neighbor pizzeria. Located inside strip mall so keep your eyes peeled. Plenty of parking in the lot. Prices are reasonable. Gets pricey when you order by topping. Overall, good quality and will be back again. read more

Absolutely amazing!!! I needed to provide lunch for 40 people after a funeral. I wanted somewhere close to my house. I've ordered dinner from here before and it was really good so I figured I'd give it a shot. I am so glad I did!! Everyone was so impressed with the food it was delicious! Even the bread they sent was a big hit. I definitely would recommend it for lunch, dinner, or a catered event. Way to go Stelton Pizza! read more

Stelton Pizza in a strip mall along a fairly busy road. There is plenty of parking and, once inside, plenty of seating. I don't recall there being many options behind the glass at the counter as far as getting slices to-go was concerned, but there was enough to make a selection. The staff was friendly and Halloween decorations were impressive and helped add to the atmosphere. The plain slice was flavorful with a good amount of sauce and a good amount of toasting of the cheese. The crust and base were crispy, though the crust did have a bit of excess flour that can be seen in my picture. The pasta slice was pretty good. I appreciated having the cheese over the pasta and I found that it helped contain the slice better than some others. I would definitely eat here again given the opportunity. read more

We are about to permanently leave NJ and staying at the motel close to here ordered the Heart Attack pie, bacon sausage and ham I added a little extra sauce and an order of garlic knots. I have to say as our last Jersey pie my husband and I absolutely loved this! Everything was beyond on point! And the sauce wow! So good and nice and chunky. Thank you so much for the amazing last memory we will have. We know we can't have this for a very long time. I wish I could give 10 stars. read more

My BF and I ate this whole buffalo chicken pizza with Caesar dressing. I don't know how we did it but it was really good! The crust was super crispy but it wasn't too thin or too thick. I especially liked how the buffalo chicken flavor was prevalent through all that dressing! Some BCP are too salty too my liking, but this was perfect. The owners can always count on us coming back! read more

I've been away from NJ for almost 6 years. Texas knows nothing about real Italian food and pizza. I remembered stopping here a few times when I worked on Hoes Lane. Well it was just as good as I remembered. Even my down home Texan husband couldn't get over how good the food was. Thank you for adding to my wonderful memories of "home". read more

Standard slice pizza joint. The people working there seem really friendly which is nice. The bottom crust on my plain slice was a bit soggy on the bottom and not as crisp as I'd like, though I liked the sauce flavor. The buffalo chicken is good, but some of their other specialty pizzas are too topping-heavy for my preference. The eggplant parm especially had a ton of ricotta and a huge slice of eggplant on top, and while the flavor was good I felt like it wasn't good as a pizza. Overall it's a solid spot, but I'd personally stick to the more normal pizzas. read more

I placed an order for three things. Two meatballs, and they were AMAZING and the sauce was perfect. A buffalo CHICKEN sub, with no onions or peppers, ( they gave us a steak one), and a cheese steak with everything that comes on it ( I got nothing but cheese and steak). Not over all impressed other than the meatballs being the best I've ever had. read more

I only stopped in for a brief moment, but in that short experience I know for certain I must go back and eat everything else this place has to offer. I popped in for a quick dinner so I ordered a chicken sandwich to go. The cashier was incredibly accommodating and it only took a few minutes for it to be hot and ready. To my very pleasant surprise, the sandwich was enormous and by far a lot more than I was expecting it to be. The chicken was prepared well and that one sandwich was beyond filling for $7 and change. Whenever I plan on being in the area again, I will do my best to sit in and try whatever else they have. Some observations: there's plenty of seating inside; there's a large tv on in the corner; the bathroom is kept clean. read more

It makes me a little sad to write this review. Getting takeout pizza from Stelton used to be a special treat growing up. Cheese was gooey and stringy, sauce was abundant and tangy, and slices were as big as your face. Peppery and salty goodness. A great example of NJ pizza. Although the slices are still as big as your face, there's something off about the pizza. I had two slices and I just felt so saddened to see it reduced to a much more inferior version. Main problem was the cheese. I swear they have changed the type of cheese. It's really dense (even when heated) and it gets all chewy in the mouth-- like I'm chewing a stick of winterfresh. The sauce is also less and lacks that punch from its pizza glory days. I feel it in my native Piscataway bones that they've either changed owners over the last few months or that they've switched/downgraded on ingredients. The old Stelton cheese pizza used to taste amazing the day after, eaten cold, as well. This one...don't even try... woke up this moring and was like, "I'm going to try this one more time"... bleh. read more
