I didn't have high expectations as many of the reviews looked a little sketch. Pizza was not bad. The pizza quality itself was not nearly as good as a proper pizzeria. The crust was a little stiff. And visually it looked like oven pizza. The Tikka pizza was decent. I've had this a few times in Northern Cali. This wasn't as flavorful but given that there may not be any alternatives in nj it may be worth checking out. 3 stars for this. The paneer pizza was flat out bad. It didn't have any Indian flavor whatsoever. I'd put this at 2 stars tops. They have a 20% discount code which I took advantage of. At that price point it's fairly reasonable. read more

I was honestly quite surprised about this place. We were having a going away party for a coworker and planned on ordering pizza from another place but they had some issues with their equipment. So we decided to give this place a try. We ordered 2 large cheese pizzas, pepperoni and a veggie pizza. The pizza wasn't bad at all. The veggie and one cheese pizza were completely gone. There was only half left of pepperoni and other cheese. I tried the plain and pepperoni and quite honestly they weren't bad. Staff were very polite. It's quite a combination of being ice cream and pizza. And the only drawback is that they don't sell pizza by the slice. That would be better if they did. read more

Incredible pizzas and incredible service. I've come in multiple times with larger orders for parties. No matter the size of the order Rose's takes it in stride and always gives us delicious, quality food. They are consistent across orders, and within orders: every pizza and sandwich were of the same caliber, there was no skimping on ingredients or over/under cooking the pizzas. Flame Thrower pizza: a great find for Halal foodies looking for pepperoni pizza. Spicy, heart, and still tasty the next day. Chicken Tikka pizza: not just a gimmick but truly tastes like it deserves to be a pizza. Probably the best version of this fusion I've had because the chicken is so nicely spiced. Amazing!! Food is really tasty and the bread for all the sandwiches is incredibly fresh! The chicken tikka pizza was great with the green pepper, but if you get it with the jalapeño, it can be super spicy. The rosé's special sandwich, the chicken cutlet, and the Turkey are our go to! Do not let this little unassuming pizza joint fool you, this is some of the best pizza I have ever had, with a twist. If you have a propensity for spicy, South Asian food but you love American classics, this is your place for pizza. First of all, the chicken tikka pizza is INCREDIBLE. A great mix of eat meets west, the cilantro goes so beautifully with the tomato sauce. For vegetarians, the paneer tikka pizza does not disappoint. You all need to try it! I think the prices are very reasonable. They use halal meat if you you're looking for that. Pizza pickup takes about 20 minutes, I usually pick up pizza on my way home. You really need to eat here. I've picked up food from here twice for me and the hubby, and I also have picked up a large order for catering. First, the small orders. We ordered pizza, cold subs, a meatball parm, and chicken wings. Everything is phenomenal. I'm not a huge fan of cold cuts because of how oversalted they are, and often tasteless. However, my understanding is that the owner makes his deli meat in house. That alone is enough to keep me coming back. The wings are definitely in the top 5 I have ever had. For the catering, I appreciated how accommodating the owners were when I called in and order for 40 people the night before. All the food was fresh and delicious, and friends and family who ate it wanted to know where we catered from. Overall, this place has wonderful owners who care about their food. I appreciate the evenness of all the ingredients. There is ample parking at this small strip mall location. I saw a sign for MasterCard and visa only. They use the square device to swipe your card. There's an ATM on the premises. You can use your card for orders over $15. I will definitely get the paneer pizza again. 16" was $17.95. Well worth the cost. Just realized that I never reviewed this place after eating there months ago. I stopped in at Rose's back in June when I was (surprise) down in Edison for a softball tournament. I ordered a personal pan pizza with sausage and I hate to be the one to go against the other reviews, but I wasn't thrilled with it. I love pizza, and as I've said before I'll even admit to being a pizza snob, but I know what I like and this place didn't do it for me. Maybe it was because I got the personal pan pizza, but it reminded me of Pizza Hut pizza. Perhaps their regular pies are better or more traditional, but the flavor isn't what I like with my pizza. The sauce wasn't bad-flavorful, but a little too sweet for me. The crust was a little thicker than I like which was odd because most of the pix on their website show a thinner crust. Who knows, maybe I caught them on a bad day or maybe I shouldn't be comparing their pizza to what I would consider traditional Jersey pizza. Maybe if I had the chicken tikka pizza I would have gotten a better feel for it...that seems to be the favorite for this place. Anyway, sorry Rose's but I just wasn't a fan. If I'm down there again next year maybe I'll give them another shot. I hate giving a pizza place two stars. read more

Yummy pizza (plain cheese, cheese steak, white, and chicken tikka pizza are ALL delicious!), their hot sandwiches are great (i love the cheese steak special and eggplant parm)..all the calzones are great, pasta is pretty decent (i've only tried the ziti and fettucine alfredo)..and they also have Greasetrucks' Fat Sandwiches! So much yummier.. the french fries are KILLER! i'm pretty sure they double-fry them.. so crunchy, so potato-y, and always cooked to order! (well, all their food is.) Be sure to try out some Kwality Ice Cream! They carry a pretty good selection, and the rose falooda flavor is BOMB. First of all, this is Italian place run by Indians, while the attached place next door is Indian run by Indians. Everything here smells like Indian food, and I was the only white guy around. The wings were good quality, but the breading got soggy from the buffalo sauce they used. The sauce tasted very generic, which was upsetting because a little Indian flare/heat on the wing would have been nice. 3 stars, nothing special. The onion rings were out of a bag, but fried nicely and not overly greasy. 3 stars. The chicken tikka pizza was really good. It's pretty much just a plain pizza topped with chicken tikka kebob sliced thin and jalapeño for a little heat. Would have been nice if the pizza sauce was changed to a tikka masala, but people that don't like overwhelming Indian flavors will still enjoy this pizza. I can also recommend their plain pizza based on the pie I had. Pretty impressive that these guys are doing pizza better than authentic pizzerias. 4 stars. The cheese steak was a mess. Yes it was huge, but I couldn't even identify where the cheese was and the steak was super shredded to the point it had the consistency of ground beef. 1 star. Such a random hidden gem! I stopped by here on the way to a friend's house in Edison because I hadn't had a chance to eat dinner yet. I wasn't expecting much just solely judging on the look of the place (yeah I know, "don't judge a book by it's cover"). I ordered a personal pizza to go and was blown away after the first bite! Definitely one of the best slices that I've had in my life, I still crave it all the time and am planning to stop by next time I'm in the area. I just wish the restaurant had a nicer look and feel. It was very hot in there (no AC I guess) and did not seem very hygienic. But even so, I'm willing to overlook that because the pizza was just THAT good. read more

Definitely recommend the eggplant parm pizza!! There's a pretty good amount of fried eggplant which is a great substitute for meat. Only downside to this pizza shop is that the workers barely speak English. We ordered half chicken parm and half eggplant parm and honestly when he repeated our order it sounded nothing like that... at least the pizza was good! read more

Great pizza! My boyfriend and I went just to try the chicken tikka pizza because it got great reviews on here and it was well worth it! I live in Edison and didn't even know about this place- definitely a hidden gem. The place is small but there are a few tables to sit down at and the service was fast! My only critique for the chicken tikka pizza would be that I wish it had more sauce. I get why it has marinara on it (not enough though), but I wonder if it'd be better with more of a marinade/curry type of sauce. Other than that it was so yummy and the chicken was delicious.
