Broiled grouper with sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts and mushrooms over sautéed spinach- this was a special.

The most delicious fish I've had in a very long time. Broiled Grouper over sautéed spinach with sun-dried tomatoes and artichoke hearts. It was kissed with the most delicious lemon butter sauce that my mouth waters as I write this. The server was delightful and left us to browse the menu and she would left us to chat. She instructed that when we were ready to order we should collect the menus together and she would come by to take our orders. We were never rushed and were attended to promptly. The decor was "professional" and appropriate for a special lunch with friends or business meeting. Highly recommended and look forward to a return visit!

Had an engagement party here and cannot say enough about the staff and food. Everything was outstanding. They had a great set up for the beer and wine I brought and helped with set up and staff was exceptional.

BYOB Italian restaurant in a convenient location with ample parking. Recommend making a reservation as they do get pretty packed with large parties, especially on weekends. Service was friendly and quick! Great for a date night or with a group of friends. We had a party of 4 and ordered the antipasto platter and octopus as an appetizer. I had the penne vodka which was excellent, but my friend got the chicken parm and wasn't as thrilled with her dish. I recommend sticking to pasta when coming here.

Love that this restaurant is BYOB. The staff is extremely friendly. Incredibly packed for a Saturday and heard that you have to make reservations in order to get seating. They have a long list of specials on top of their regular menu. The SO and I ordered a rib eye and seafood fra diavlo. For appetizer we had a mango calamari which was delicious. The rib eye was a little tough in certain areas. The seafood fra diavlo was good but not the best I've had. Overall , I would come back and dine. This is a really cozy Italian restaurant.

The food was outstanding. Tasty, large servings and heat hot, just the way we liked it. The family style antipasto was delicious with shrimp, clams, mussels, stuffed mushrooms, eggplant rolatini, and fried zucchini strings. The chicken giambotti was filled with sautéed chicken breast, sausage, potatoes and onions and peppers. Seafood capelline was overflowing with shrimp, lobster pieces, clams and mussels in a white wine garlic butter sauce. The Tartuffo was very good. Our server, Melissa was on the spot with everything. She even had her own stash of highball glasses should patrons bring their own liquor, since they don't have a bar. And we did bring our own. The ambiance is a bit outdated, can be quite noisy, but being we were 5, we had a quiet, out of the way table. It was a perfect night

You've heard this story before. You start off in East Brunswick and everybody moves to their different pockets of the garden state except for JB because he knew that years later he'd have the optimal commute for crew steak meet up twice a year. An hour and change and you can sit down at LouCas for legit fine dining, meats, seafood , homemade Greek desserts and top shelf customer service thanks to Alyssa. This place is a 5/5 maybe a 6/5. I don't care about the flimsy menu it's about the words on the menu that count and what gets brought to the table when you say those words. For the quality of the cuisine you get the price makes sense. Actually a good deal for all of it. Alright see the pictures that includes one of LouCas's greatest orders of all time on the bill. They didn't tell us that outright but we could tell they felt it in their hearts. Pork chop number 1. Tomahawk 2 Lamb chops and rack of lamb for the bronze.

Business meeting for dinner. You cannot go wrong with any dish in this restaurant. Great service and dinner specials. This is a must try.

We were a party of 8 and ordered from the family style menu (5 appetizers, salad, 2 pastas, 1 beef, 1 chicken, 1 fish, dessert). Everything was tasty especially the balsamic calamari and the anise mussels. We loved the 3 cheese gnocchi and the penne carbonara. There is a great selection to choose from. It was plentiful and we could not finish it all. Will definitely be back!

It was clear they were severely understaffed, and we were largely ignored until one of them finally said, "I will check on your table." The food was okay. The bread? Their stock answer was humorous after hearing it recites by all three servers: "It's in the oven" I guess practice makes perfect. Standard salad with balsamic, same as every mid pizza/food place I have been before. Red snapper special was way tough on the outside, like chewing leather that you never would really want to eat?! Best thing here was the pork chop, sweet spicy peppers, with onions yummy brown sauce, although the pork was a tad overdone. Overall, this place is a pass.

Service was tied with the food for first place! Starting with the friendly and helpful hostess, every single employee offered a greeting and a smile. Our server was Elijah, he was wonderful! Warm, friendly and professional. He was attentive and perceptive. He didn't hover but anytime we needed he re-appeared. We were greeted by two out of the three managers, 10 out of 10. Now for the food! We ordered the rice balls, maple wings a Pepper pig pizza and for my cocktail I had the blue Hawaiian. Every thing was delicious hot and freshly made. The outside and inside are visually appealing. I would describe it as modern meets industrial with a nice dose or rustic, very nice.

To make matters worse, a server took away one of the pizza trays while my dad was still actively eating from it--I'm not exaggerating. It was only 9:04 PM, and we were simply finishing our meal before leaving. On top of that, I ordered the Bucatini, and it was severely overcooked. My mom ordered another pasta that also wasn't good. Overall, a very disappointing dining experience with poor service and subpar food.

The owner was incredibly accommodating, making the entire day completely stress-free--we truly felt taken care of throughout. The food was delicious--apps included calamari, spreads, and salad, and guests couldn't stop talking about how perfectly cooked the calamari was. The restaurant has been recently renovated, and the décor and ambiance truly speak for themselves. We walked in for lunch and were immediately seated. Though they also take reservations on Resy. We came dressed casually though the vibe seemed a bit dressier with the dimly lit interior. The restaurant has a clean, modern feel while still maintaining the charm of a neighborhood eatery. *FOOD* The menu offers a great variety of Greek-inspired dishes made with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. I ordered the lobster gyro, which was absolutely delicious. The lobster was flavorful and the combination of ingredients came together nicely in the pita. The dish also comes with a side of fries. *SERVICE* The service was friendly and attentive throughout our lunch. Our waitress was welcoming and checked in periodically to make sure everything was going well. Overall, great experience all around and it's the type of place you'd want as a regular neighborhood favorite. I'd definitely return and look forward to trying more of the menu!
