    Ice cold beer
    Viraj D.

First of all this is a dive bar so let that set in first they have few selections of beer but I have to say it has the coldest beer I've had in a very long time beer frost ice cold to the point ur done with a pint in couple of seconds. The food is burgers fries and simple stuff you can cook up and enjoy on a regular day with a cold brew. Bartender is very nice and they have 5 TVs and video games hand bowling and a dart board. It is a spot where is laid back and a place where u can meet regulars that are friendly and have conversations with. I would highly recommend coming here on a chill relaxing day to watch a game and drink ice cold beer with a burger!! A hidden gem!

I've been here twice with groups of 6. We've ordered everything from the burgers, to the chicken sandwiches and fish and chips. I ordered a Chicken Caprese sandwich and I enjoyed it the first time. The 2nd time I ordered the Veggie Wrap which I decided to turn into a sandwich. That didn't work so well. The burgers were good too. The items all had the option of fries or salad. All the food was good, except the fish and chips was batter and very little fish. The old school ambiance is really nice. The restaurant has an upstairs and downstairs dining area, each with its own bar. If in the area for a show, Tavern on the George has it down to a science getting all the groups in and out in time. Although, the food is nothing special, I'd come here again.

A short walk later, I found myself at Destination Dogs, a place I had seen in photographs that suggested capaciousness. In reality, it is smaller.  This is not a complaint, just an observation.  I remember once hearing something about the contents of small packages. At 12:30 the place was full. Packed with humanity and appetite. I was seated quickly, as if someone had anticipated my hunger in advance. From the bar came the sound of construction crews discussing their midday rituals. Apparently this is where they come on Fridays, to repair themselves while they repair the city. It explained everything. Service was swift and attentive, a minor miracle given the crowd. I began with a Scotch egg, an item that seemed to have wandered in from another story entirely. I ordered it for that reason. I had always imagined my first Scotch egg would be eaten in an English pub under low ceilings and older regrets. Instead, here it was. Perfectly crisp, warm, and generous. The universe does not ask for permission. Then came the main event. The menu is an atlas of hot dogs. Domestic. International. Proteins in tube form arranged like possibilities. There is even an invitation to build your own, which I accepted. I attempted to recreate a favorite from Crif Dogs, a thing called the Spicy Redneck. Bacon wrapped dog. Pickled jalapenos. Coleslaw. Simple in theory. Destination Dogs improved upon it in every way that matters. The bacon crisped with purpose. The jalapenos spoke clearly. The coleslaw behaved. The hot dog itself seemed proud to be there. All of this, plus a 16 ounce beer, cost me about twenty five dollars with tip. A small price for order in a chaotic universe. Five stars. Not because perfection exists, but because this comes close enough to make the argument.

The service was phenomenal -- the host was also our server, the bartender was the food runner and busser half the time as well. It was clearly evident that their staff work as a team and are all incredibly hard workers. We both also really enjoyed our food, opting for a steak sandwich (for my husband) and grilled chicken sandwich (for me). The portions were large enough to bring home leftovers and still feel full, and everything tasted fantastic. I absolutely recommend this place and will definitely be back soon.

Better upstairs if you are going for more of a sit down dinner as the main floor has the TVs and bar.

I understand places get busy but management at FC has to be really clueless when it comes to "switching on" the availability on those platforms. Every time I call to ask if they deliver, I usually get a sarcastic response like yea duh of course we do but again staff is totally clueless that they haven't made themselves available on the platform. I wonder how much these guys are losing on deliveries or maybe this is a subtle hint that they don't want to deal with it because they're taking a loss on Postmates, Uber Eats, and Doordash. I can't be the only one experiencing this. To management: if you guys don't want to deal with these delivery services, cancel them and stop misleading people that you deliver. If you decide to keep them, talk to your account manager at said platforms and educate yourselves and your staff on how to use them so you can be more profitable in the delivery space. It's tough out there and it would be a shame if you guys lose business and the other Mexican spot in the neighborhood closes you out because they have staff that stays on top of operations. I'm done trying to give this place business and reminding them to update their availability.
