Travel the world through hot dog styles under one roof. Chicago dog relish was outta this world. Sangria was refreshing. The German dog had too much sour cream in my opinion. Service was fast and efficient. Really didn't check out the bar too much but there were a lot of TVs and cocktails being made.

Fun spot with awesome dogs and great vibes! This place is such a cool restaurant/bar that feels like a local staple for sure. The staff is super friendly and know their way around the (very large) menu. Honestly, they have a hot dog or sausage combo for just about everyone. I let the bartender pick for me, and she nailed it. She chose an all-beef dog that was basically a Big Mac in hot dog form. I was skeptical at first, but wow this hit in all the right ways. Awesome presentation, even better flavor. I could've easily eaten three of these. I also tried the onion rings, the bartender warned me they were just "meh," and she wasn't wrong, lol. For round two, I went with an all-beef dog topped with pastrami this is basically a Reuben-style dog. Another win! Great flavor, great presentation. Overall, I'd totally recommend Destination Dogs if you're in the area. Just a heads up, if there's a game on, it gets loud. Like "can't-hear-your-friend-next-to-you" loud. But if that's your vibe, you'll love it.

Good bar & restaurant in the New Brunswick area. They have plenty of TVs so you can catch the game no matter where you are sitting. Food wise, the hotdogs were very good. They are premium hotdogs hence the $10 a dog price. The fries here were surprisingly good especially for $5. Great value !! The bread pudding was very good dessert as well. All around great experience and the staff were very friendly. Only downside , parking in the area is a pain. Best to park near the Rutgers campus meters and walk if downtown is packed.

What a fun little establishment. Hot dog were good. Wish they had more of a grilled taste. Almost tasted boiled but the toppings make up for it. No kids menu, but you can customize your dog as you please. Side of chips was a hit for my toddler. Our waitress was nice and made sure we were satisfied

Place still crushes it after all these years. Every hot dog was insanely good. The Cyclone was my favorite. Can't go wrong with the classics.

We were in the area and decided to Yelp for recommendations. Glad we found this gem! Everything hot dogs or in the shape of them. They did have salad and chicken sandwiches. Very small pub style place with some parking on the side of the building. We waited about 15 mins for a table. We started with Nachos they have to be the best nachos I have EVER had. The ground beef was seasoned to perfection. All the toppings perfectly spread out and great portion. If you come here you MUST have the nachos you will thank me! We had all different dishes which were all great. Will definitely be back

If you are a hot dog enthusiast like I am, walk and don't run to Destination Dogs conveniently located in downtown New Brunswick. There are so many ingenious toppings and creative hot dog concoctions from local specialties like Philly Cheesesteak to Vietnamese Bahn Mi style hot dogs and everything in between. I decided to try the Patatas Ridiculous which are delicious loaded fries with duck confit, bacon, cheese sauce, melted Jack cheese, bacon, gravy and jalapenos. Can you say ooey, gooey & absolutely delicious?!?! For my meal, I opened for the Waco Kid which is a beef dog with chili, cheese sauce, sour cream, scallions & Fritos Scoops. It was as absolutely crunchy, salty, beefy, juicy, cheesy and saucy as it sounds. I completely devoured it. While I did not have room for dessert, I will certainly be coming back go try their seasonal bread pudding. 5 stars of hot dog deliciousness!

Well needed after a long day. Typical American pub and the service was adequate. Both dogs had a slight kick that I really enjoyed and were both very savory. The additional vegetables on the hidden dragon was a nice touch

Visited DG for the 1st time this weekend. It was busy on a Friday night but we were able to snag a table for 2. We ordered the bbq wings to start and they were good. For drink. I got Monk's gone wild & it was good. We ordered 4 hot dogs locations ( NOLA, Newark , Philly ) & a regular basic hotdog. Note your hot dog orders come with a side of potato chip which I loved. I liked the Nola and Newark one. They were larger portion sizes than I realized, so I would recommend ordering 1/person if you don't want to be overwhelmed.

Always an amazing gastronomical adventure here at D Dogs. They keep the menu fresh and so I had to go with the Gandolfini and it's was exceptionally delicious. The staff are super welcoming and I must say this place has the "Cheers" vibe of New Brunswick but with top notch food as well. Can't say enough about this place.

Always a crowd here. So many unique sausage combos. Everything I've had has been flavorful and loaded. Would just recco a bit more chips / fresher quality. That is lacking. Otherwise this is a fun spot with nice drinks also.

Finally made it in to Destination Dogs in New Brunswick after many suggestions in the comments of my videos. I decided to grab a "cyclone" which is basically an all the way dog with added scallion and a "Newark" which is an Italian dog. The Cyclone had a solid chili sauce and brought onions 3 ways. There was diced onion, scallion, and cooked onions in the chili. The dog (to the best of my knowledge) is from Best Provisions in Newark and it was snappy and delicious. The roll was a New England style top split but it was massive! Same dog and roll for the Newark but add potatoes, peppers, onions, and yellow mustard. I liked that ketchup didn't come standard on their Italian dog. The potatoes were diced and cooked well. Peppers and onions were sautéed well also. Around $14 for the two dogs so I could see people complaining about the price but these were very well crafted. I would say for me personally I'd actually like the bun a bit smaller. The functionality of eating these is a bit off, you need to take a good 2 bites at least to get everything in one mouthful. All in all I'm happy to say they Didn't Suck!

My husband ordered the cacio pepe and was able to add scallops to it which added a unique twist to the usual pasta dish. Overall our experience was nice and our waiter was friendly. While it would have been nice if our waiter stopped by a bit more so we could get the check sooner, given that this is a college town, it didnt seem like a big deal to us if we had to wait a little longer for things like the check or placing our order - just something to keep in mind.

I recently tried the chef's 8-course tasting menu, and it was perfectly paced--the small plates are proportionately sized so you leave feeling satisfied rather than overwhelmed. Every dish is a standout with deep, "stacked" flavors; even the ingredients I was skeptical about ended up being favorites. Nothing needed a drop of extra seasoning. The service sets a warm, welcoming tone from the start. We were offered Oshibori (Japanese warm towelettes) to refresh our hands, and getting a fresh set of utensils with every course was a high-end touch I really appreciated. Menu Highlights: Taro Fritter: A sweet-textured appetizer inspired by Chinese desserts, topped with caviar and soy-pickled beets. It was a beautiful way to awaken the palate. Mackerel Crudo: As someone who isn't usually a fan of raw dishes, I was surprised by how much I loved this. It's light, perfectly acidic, and balanced with plum, ponzu, and apple. Grilled Sunchoke: This was "rustic elegance" in a bowl. The smell alone is incredible, and the combination of ginger crab and shellfish butter is pure comfort. Smoked Duck: Topped with black winter truffle and caramelized onions in a gochujang sauce--absolutely excellent cook and presentation. Braised Beef Cheek: So tender you can skip the knife and just use your fork. Since I forgot to BYOB, I tried their house-made Luck & Love hibiscus drink. It's hands-down the best hibiscus tea I've ever had--I actually tried to buy one to-go, but they only make enough for dine-in guests! It's a fantastic spot to bring friends or loved ones, though I'd recommend arriving early. The parking lot is extremely tight, so you might need to look for space in the lot next door.

You absolutely MUST get the Clothesline Bacon as an appetizer. Make sure you slice some pickle with it and squeeze a little lemon juice on top! The manager urged us to try it that way during one of our visits - we never looked back. Rather than eating in the dining area, we chose to sit at the bar for their Foxy Hour (Happy Hour) offerings. There are plenty of tables surrounding the bar as well. We had the Clothesline Bacon, 6 Oysters, Hipster Fries, Spicy Lobster Mac, and we each got the happy hour burger. Everything tasted great, but the hipster fries were a little greasy and lacked the shishito peppers they had last time. We finished off with the Eclair Trio dessert from the Specials Menu. On two separate occasions we were seated at an awkward table in the back of the restaurant, right near the kitchen service area and door to the outside patio. We weren't thrilled to be there, as there was constant traffic in and out of the kitchen and through the doors. I think they should just do away with those seats, so everyone can have a relaxing dining experience no matter where they're sat.
