Just came with my family to eat and celebrate my brother's graduation and the service was amazing. Despite it being close to closing time and lots going on in the kitchen, when we asked for more food it was easily brought out fast. We took advantage of the happy hour brunch (8am-10am) on a Thursday, but went off the happy hour menu just to try the birria omelet. It was so worth it! The birria omelet was well seasoned. Meat was soft and delicious. The churro waffle was so fluffy and not too sweet. Perfect balance. Farmer's platter was good. My only note is they didn't add any butter to my toast, something I usually expect when I order breakfast plates. But since they charged me extra for ordering some garlic mayonnaise, I assumed they'd charge me if I asked for butter. Staff was attentive and kind, upsold us to the max. Hatch gets pretty crowded on the weekends and there can be a very long wait depending on the time you go. There is a lot of metered parking spots around the area. When we went, it was the last day of winter drink specials so not much was left to choose from though they do have bottomless hot coffee for a decent price and even offered to put fresh coffee in a to go cup as we were leaving! The food hit the spot. There are a lot of vegetarian options as well which is exciting. It is definitely on the pricier side for the portions though service was excellent. read more

Finally visited the new location and it was just as cute as the former and definitely bigger! I wish they made it more spacious because you don't have room to sit without being bumped. The decor was just as cute though! They have the cutest photo op swing and it's still very barn-y and homey. Just like the other location there's still no reservations so we had to put our name down and wait like 15 min. Not too bad. We were seated and our waiter was nice but they were packed so service was slow. All servers were just running around with no space. It's sad they filled it up to get more heads in and didn't think of the comfort aspect. For our drinks, I believe they were both seasonal drinks (unless mine is the fixer upper). I'm usually not a cafe drink person but the hibiscus tea sounded so good and I loved it! It was perfectly bitter and sweet and refreshing. My gf had a seasonal latte and liked that too. They do drinks WELL. As for the food I think the pancakes were seasonal. We had the ricotta pancakes and really didn't like it. Came back to Hatch for brunch with my friend recently. It was her first time the wait was still long. I wish they would do reservations, but it is what it is. The wait is worth it. I had my regular chicken and waffles. It was delicious. She enjoyed her meal as well. I've really loved that we got to experience the Chinese new year celebration while eating. Onto food: I ordered the French toast flight to share and it was so delicious and fluffy! My favorite was the churro - tasted exactly like a churro! Then I ordered the birria grilled cheese and that was also delicious! The sourdough bread was soft and toasty but just right in the middle of sturdy (toasty) and soft that it won't scratch your upper mouth (iykyk!). We started with the oooh bae iced latte and fresh orange juice. I love ube and really enjoyed the latte. I ordered the fiesta scramble bowl and the spicy chick. The inside space is large and beautifully decorated and the outdoor area is really cute as well. The staff are super friendly and service was quick. We got the spicy avocado toast with bacon which was absolutely delicious and the bacon was perfectly crispy. We also got the fluff cake flight which was also incredible and the Nutella one was my favorite. We got a side of seasoned potatoes which were also amazing and fruit which I would not necessarily recommend as you just get a few blueberries and strawberries. Seems like a spot for a lot of influencers or Instagram posts. People were really dressed up for simple brunch. LOL. Food was very good. Had to take 1 star off because I could not swap my egg type on the avocado toast. I wanted over easy but they would not substitute for the scrambled it came with. My first review was for their old location which is now Maria's Brunch and this updated one is for their location on New Street. I've been here quite a few times now and it is still good. The new location is beautiful, you can tell they really thought out the details and stuck to an aesthetic. The wait might be long on the weekends during peak brunch times so definitely try to get there and get on the waitlist as soon as possible. I haven't had a bad meal there yet. Finally got to try out this beautiful restaurant and it did not disappoint! From decor to the exquisite taste it is definitely a place to come and visit. We were seated pretty quickly on arrival. We both ordered the iced teddy graham latte which was delicious; they even added real teddy grahams into the drink. We went on a Saturday at 2pm and luckily I had reservations for my party of 6 because it was a full house. Then my group shared the fluff cake which included the following : Liam's Fav (Nutella whip, Oreos, and fresh fruit) Classic Savy (pecan mascarpone and candied pecans; Berry Zest (lemon blueberry ricotta). My favorite was the Liam's fav but all of them were so good and not too sweet, just right. For entree I had the steak and eggs and wow the streak had a charred flavor to it that made it perfect. There were multiple people there celebrating birthdays and I can see why they would go there, the space is very aesthetic , the food is great and the vibe was fun , again , great music selection.My group had a fun time. Do make note- they only let you be at your table for an hour and a half. I wish they let you make reservations for all party sizes and that they extended your time especially for a group of 5 or more. We ordered Fluff cake flight, Hatch hash, Fiesta scramble bowl and Pumpkin pie latte. Other than the hatch hash, everything was good. The pan cakes were super soft and tasty. Also loved the fiesta scramble bowl. The hatch has didn't include sweet potatoes as mentioned and also had kale, which wasn't mentioned in the menu. And overall I didn't like the dish. I thought it wouldn't be too busy. I was wrong. I ended up sitting at the bar area. I ordered the Lavender Fields matcha, which was a seasonal drink. For food, I got the Peachy Queen. It's a stuffed French toast. Also, I got a side of bacon. Everything was tasty, and the service was solid. I would definitely return. I heard it gets busy on the weekends, and the wait is long, so your best bet is to go during the week or go when they first open. read more

Pleasantly surprised the hype was worth it. I stopped by hatch to celebrate my birthday with a quick brunch. I absolutely loved that they were BYOB and had some mimosa flights for us to try out. The star of the show was definitely their farm to fresh menu everything was excellent. We had the jibarito which was a tostone or plantain chip with brisket bits smoke, and grilled to perfection. We also had the French toast which was a super thick toast. The Mexican skillet was excellent and the chorizo was not overpowering or salty finally had all your basic French eggs and bacon, which did not disappoint. Our table did have a bit of condensation from the AC and the staff was trying to remedy. The location is super picturesque wonderful ambience well lit only caveat is they do not take reservations you do have to show up, but the weight was not long.
