You know what my biggest pet-peeve is when I get flavored lattes? When I can't taste the flavor(s) I ordered. After having my first peanut butter latte in Tucson that blew me away I was super excited to see a PB Banana latte here at Chapter 2. Unfortunately, the peanut butter was subtle and I think they forgot the ripe banana because I couldn't detect any. The espresso came through nicely though. We also got their almond crossiant. The cashier asked if I wanted it warmed up and I said yes. We waited and waited and by the time we were halfway done sipping our coffee, I had to go up to ask about it. The young girl actually gave me a straight face and acted like they didn't forget and when they served it to us it was not heated up. At that point I'm like why bother asking again. Such a cute and cozy spot with a chill atmosphere. Perfect for catching up, studying, or just slowing down for a bit. We popped in for drinks and loved the warm, welcoming interior. I got the Tiramisu Latte which comes with tiramisu foam. It sounded amazing, but I couldn't really taste the tiramisu part. The coffee itself was solid though--smooth and well-balanced. My boyfriend tried the Spooky Special Latte (black sesame with ube cold foam). It was creative and looked fun, but same issue--the black sesame flavor didn't really come through, even though the sesame seeds were definitely there. We ordered online so we didn't really get to interact with anyone. I was waiting for a bit though cause we didn't see where the pick up spot was(which was my fault) but someone was right in front of me, didn't even acknowledge my presence lol. the cozy vibe makes me want to come back to try other drinks or maybe a pastry(if they have one) next time. So glad they finally opened! I've been to their coffee truck a few times at various events. They're always friendly and we always get a bag of beans to take home. The truck never had espresso based hot drinks, though. Their new space has an industrial vibe, with warm touches. I wish there was more natural light but their establishment extends back, so no windows back there. We ordered a seasonal danish, which was cream filled with sliced strawberries. It was just okay, nothing special. We also got a flat white with oat milk and a latte with oat milk, to stay. Though they had mugs and despite asking for it to stay, everything still came in one time use disposable cups and bags. Maybe they just didn't want to deal with washing up? Saw this place on the way to an appointment in the same complex. So I stopped by after for a latte. I got a hot matcha latte. I am new to matcha so wasn't too sure what to expect. I went here for the Yelp experience and I now adopt it as my new cafe. The experience was great. They are so welcoming. I loved the aesthetics and all the work/lounging areas. The service was excellent here. I had a few food allergies - nuts and sesame - and the server was extremely careful and read each label to make sure I could or could not eat the turkey sandwich. It turned out a majority of the turkey sandwich ingredients had nuts (in the mayo and seasoning plus the bread had risk) that she on her own recommended I don't go ahead with this but instead get the avocado toast which would only be avocado, butter, and bread because it too had allergens. Since I didn't want to eat just that for lunch I chose not to get it but her service is to be noted for thoroughness and for trying to provide an alternative which such care! I ordered the matcha strawberry drink which was delicious and you could taste the distinct matcha texture. The place is perfect for catching up with friends, on work, or to just relax. It's busy but not loud and plenty of seating. I wish they had more options for folks with allergies but excited to see how this grows read more
