A really good Taiwanese bakery in the same shopping center as 99 Ranch Market. They have wide assortments of pastries (both sweet and savoury), bread, cakes, and drinks. We don't come up to Edison often, but every time we are here we try to stop by at this bakery. I didn't get to take the photo of their egg tarts, but they are very delicious! I think out of all the egg tarts I have tasted I like this one the best. They have freshly baked egg tarts coming out at least 3x/day. There are few tables in the bakery, but this place is always busy so we have only done take outs.

Great place for asian bakery with variety of options. The eggtarts were on sale on that day for $1.5 each one. Ordered 6 and they ended up to be fresh, crispy, and delicious. Will definitely come back again to this place in the future : )

This place is always amazing. You come in and grab a tray and tongs, grab whatever bakery items you want & then bring them to the register. They have croissants, bagels, savory pastries, cakes, boba tea, coffee, and much more. They have a few tables for 2 and for 4-6. They don't serve tea until 9am. The service is always great and they have a reward program.

This bakery is located in the same plaza as 99 Ranch Market. We stopped by on a rainy Saturday and the line was to the door. There is some indoor seating but it was all full. We ordered the hot Salted Cheese Milk Tea and hot Black Sesame Cafe Latte. Both drinks were really good and had strong flavors. I want to come back and try some of the pastries next time.

I was hoping for a warm breakfast. I didn't research first before coming here. We just saw it and came in. Our coffees were excellently made. Nice and strong. I picked up a chocolate pastry. It was light, was not to heavy. They sell bagels but they are grab and go, I'm not too keen on that. So I didn't take it. I'm not deducting stars for that. I should have checked that information before.

I'm a fan of Sunmerry's but prefer the Green Brook location. I picked up my 2 favorite items: cream filled brioche donut and a coconut brioche braid. The coconut brioche braid was delicious, as always but the cream filled brioche donut didn't seem as fresh and it seemed to have been fried in oil that wasn't as clean. The plus for this location though is its size. They have tables to the left when you enter so you can dine-in if you wish. It was a bit of a lackluster experience.

IT'S A Hidden Gem for Tea and Pastry Lovers! I've been coming to this bakery since my college days, and it has remained my peaceful little hideaway ever since. There's something magical about stepping inside;a cozy atmosphere, the sweet aroma of fresh pastries, and the warm smiles of the staff who always make you feel welcome. My go-to order has always been a passion fruit green tea with lychee, cold, no ice, no sugar; pure perfection with boba. But lately, I've been feeling a bit adventurous, and let me tell you, their black sesame tea is an absolute game-changer! I've also dabbled in their strawberry matcha and fresh lemon tea, always with boba, of course. And the pastries? Oh, where do I even start? The mango tarts are a must-try,fruity, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness. Their small pineapple tarts are little bites of joy, and the flaky taro mochi? A masterpiece. But my ultimate favorites have to be the mochi black sesame bun . Soft, chewy, and bursting with flavor, these treats make every visit an experience to savor. If you're looking for a spot to unwind with free wifi, a fantastic drink and a pastry (or three), this bakery is a hidden treasure worth discovering!

Good pastry shop. Good iced coffee. Tried the red bean bun and it was fresh and tasty. Seating for maybe 20-25 people inside.

We picked up a few pastries from Sunmerry for Mother's Day! The cheesecake and the slices we picked up were so good. I also got a few buns - pineapple bun and a scallion bun. Next time, I will order the lychee drink with boba!

Cute dessert spot in 99ranch plaza! They also sell specialty cakes that are great for special occasions

I received several pastries as a birthday gift. The creme brulee puff pastry, mango panna cotta, and tiramisu slice were really good. I had the mango mousse slice and it was not that great. It tasted like there was seaweed in it. It was strange not sure if it had matcha but i was not a fan

Wonderful Taiwanese bakery. They make delicious pineapple cakes, the best I've had in the US - and also pretty hard to find outside of imported ones at grocery stores. I ordered 4 different cake slices last time for a friend's birthday: black forest, mixed fruit, mango mousse, and matcha mousse. We all liked black forest the best - it was very light and well balanced in the flavor. Every time I'm in the area I'm sure to pick up some pineapple cakes because they're just so good. I also tried their Japanese cheesecake, it was light and fluffy and not too sweet. Ambiance wise, there seem to be a lot of high school/college age kids hanging out, it's not ideal for enjoying a calm visit since the space is not that big and the line runs through the middle of the store. Really recommend their baked goods!

    claire o.

Latte was good, nata was not - but I would come again for the coffee and other baked goods! I came here because the location was convenient & I needed to do work. I was able to do that, but if you have to focus I wouldn't recommend this location - there is a lot of noise & commotion. It seems like a great spot to meet people for coffee or even stop by on your way to work! A massive selection of bakery items!!

After having my first peanut butter latte in Tucson that blew me away I was super excited to see a PB Banana latte here at Chapter 2. Unfortunately, the peanut butter was subtle and I think they forgot the ripe banana because I couldn't detect any. The espresso came through nicely though. We also got their almond crossiant. The cashier asked if I wanted it warmed up and I said yes. We waited and waited and by the time we were halfway done sipping our coffee, I had to go up to ask about it. The young girl actually gave me a straight face and acted like they didn't forget and when they served it to us it was not heated up. At that point I'm like why bother asking again. All-in-all it was okay. They do have a very exciting menu with interesting flavor combo lattes. Maybe I ordered the wrong drink? Probably won't return since I was not wowed on this first visit. The ice, as usual, entirely melted and my drink became room temperature - this time during my long-haul car ride returning to NYC. The grass jelly is average, somewhat served chilled and paucity for minimal quantity but a nice delight. I strongly believe there is a price discrimination for preferential treatment as New Jersey is significantly lowered price than its neighbor state New York. If you know, you know. The pastries here are absolutely worth the detour--and honestly, wherever I see a Paris Baguette, I do pull over. That includes locations I've visited in Northern California, North Brunswick, New Jersey, Atlanta, Georgia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and even the one here in Charlotte down in Pineville. It's a bit of a drive for me, but when I'm in that area, I always make a point to stop in and pick up a couple of their delicious croissant-donut pastries and marzipan or almond croissants. That's the beauty of this bakery--it's a chain, yes, but the consistency is what keeps me coming back. I have yet to be disappointed. Of course, I had to stop at this Hilton Head location--and I didn't come empty-handed. Food connects people, and bringing pastries to your host is always a winning move. I picked up three different varieties of their famous croissant-donut style pastries (similar to the well-known cronut): * Chocolate * Tiramisu * Mango And I added two large almond croissants that were beautifully filled, flaky, and indulgent. Bottom line: Whenever you see a Paris Baguette on your radar, pull over. It's dependable, delicious, and perfect for picking up pastries to share--or to treat yourself. For me, it's one of those rare places that delivers the same quality every single time, no matter the city--and that kind of consistency is something I truly appreciate as a traveler and lifelong foodie.
