Love it! Finally stumbled into here! Love the decor. Bathroom is clean and smells amazing. They dont have dessert , but plenty of Boba teas and other drinks. The wings are a must get. Came here around 8pm on a Saturday and were seated immediately as it was empty. There were 2 employees taking our order and refilling waters. Service was good, no complaints. The restaurant was clean and bright inside with spacious seating despite the small exterior of the building. I ordered the grilled pork rice vermicelli and it was pretty good, they did not skimp on the meat at all and I had a good amount leftover to take home at the end of the meal. We also got spring rolls as an appetizer although they came out after our dishes. The spring rolls were piping hot (almost too hot), crispy, and tasted good as well. This hole in the wall is really good. The bahn mi is one of thee best. They serve it on a really nice warm baguette and with the name of the establishment they are doing that right!! They look like they revamped in the inside it's actually really cute, wooden panels and plenty of seating. The beef noodle dish was really delish, it was on their specials page! True to its name, they serve a solid banh mi here! I haven't tried anything else on the menu, but the banh mis are filling and satisfying. I enjoyed the BBQ Pork and Lemongrass Tofu (which is a lighter option, but with nice lemongrass flavor). It's not super modern and instagram worthy perhaps, but it was very clean and I felt it had a warm and inviting charm! Plenty of seating available, yes very casual, but I felt it was a nice place for lunch. I ordered the BBQ Banh Mi combo, which comes with the full size sandwich, fries and a soda. The fries were nice and crisp while also having a potatoey consistency on the inside. They had a nice flavor that mimicked the flavor of their other dishes so maybe they are fried in the same oil or maybe they just use the same spices. Either way, they were good and had a flavor to them. The Banh mi was delicious but I had small issues with the vegetables: there weren't enough jalepeno (only two slices on a pretty large sandwich), and the carrot was shredded, I prefer when there is a bit more bite to it. I also would have liked some sauce to add, but we took ours to go so I only had what was available to me at work. Had we stayed there to eat, it looked like there was a large variety of different sauces to choose from. They also have plenty of different bubble tea flavors. I ordered the coconut and it did not disappoint! There was only one person working there when we came in (that I could see), but it was not busy and she was very friendly and accommodating. Hands down THE BEST Vietnamese spot I've been to on the east coast. HUGE tasty portions made with love. The broth in the pho was so good that I didn't want to ruin it with the usual hoisin and sriracha or any other toppings. The bbq pork chop combo was different from what I've previously had elsewhere. It's been a while since we came back here, so we decided to come here one day after work. The place looked A LOT different from how it did the last time we were here, as it had expanded in size and was given a complete makeover. The walls are white with wood panels decorating them and scenery paintings adorn them as well. The drinks station is at the front of the restaurant and is connected to a dessert display case, which is also near the drinks refrigerator. A black column is perched in the middle of the restaurant too and it's a little bit random. Daughter ordered the A13- Vietnamese Shaking Beef (Bo Luc Lac) and added an egg to it. She thought the shaking beef was a little well done. Unlike the West Coast where the meat was soft and tender, these seem a bit well done. The egg is always top notch. The server was confusing us and saying that we can only order this a la carte and that we couldn't order from the lunch special because it was past the lunch hour. So, imagine to our surprise when it came out as a lunch special. I ordered the V24- Egg Rolls Vermicelli (Bun Cha Gio). I haven't had this for a while and thought it tasted delicious. Daughter had a piece and liked it, also. The rolls were nice and fried. Hubs liked the egg rolls:noodles ratio. My order was the best entree of the night. As daughter and I were eating our dinner, hubs was still waiting for his order, which was V25 Vietnamese Spicy Beef Noodles (Bun Bo Hue). We asked the server about it and I think he forgot because he was busy on his phone. Daughter and I were almost done with our dinner before we asked about his. The place was empty except for the 3 other workers who were busy putting up the Christmas tree. He went into the kitchen to inquire about it and it came out within 5 minutes. Hubs was disappointed because his meal was missing some essential ingredients for this soup, namely duck or pork's blood and pork trotters. If he knew that they weren't going to include, he wouldn't have ordered this at all. They replaced them with beef. This felt like a regular pho with hot sauce or chili oil thrown in it. He was not impressed and took the rest of it home because he didn't believe in food waste. Lastly we ordered B9 - Vietnamese Sardine Sandwich to go and loved it and thought it was delicious. Service was really meh with the guy being on his phone. Food was ok, but I think we'll wait a while before coming back here to eat. There are other better Vietnamese places around. read more

Tried their Shrimp Summer Rolls and Chicken Banh Mi Sandwich on the way to work. I was pretty hungry. I have tried these dishes in lots of different places, and let me tell you this place was sensational. For the Banh Mi, the bread was soft and flaky, the chicken was juicy and well seasoned, and all the toppings were on point. The Summer roll had the right balance between veggies, noodles and Shrimp, and the peanut sauce was thick with fried onions on top for a little crunch - a nice touch. Lotta places overstuff with veggies and skimp on the shrimp, and the sauce is somewhat watery. Not here! Will have to try more of their food next time! read more

Break for the bahn mi was the right amount of crispy/crunchy outside but not cut the roof of your mouth and soft inner and I thought the bbq pork was flavorful. I heard other co workers say the meat in their sandwiches was a little dry. Spring rolls were a good size and filling ratio was good...dipping sauce was also tasty. The veggies were cut fresh and crispy. The cilantro was plentiful. The jalapeños were crunchy and full of heat. The julienned radish was marinated and packed with flavor. The woman working tonight was inattentive and lacked basic hospitality, which made me feel uncomfortable enough to just pay my bill and leave. I paid through Toast Tab, as noted on the receipt, but she came outide when I was in my car and said I hadn't paid. I had to show her the receipt on my phone, and even then, she didn't apologize. I've been here once before over a year ago and tried their lemongrass beef bahn mi which I remember really enjoying and prompted the order of the lemongrass beef entree. Beef Pho: If you are in the mood for pho, this definitely delivers. It comes with brisket and raw beef and both meats were very good. The broth itself has a nice flavor and there was a good portion of the noodles, onions and toppings Lemongrass Beef Vermicelli: I think I prefer the lemongrass beef in the bahn mi more but this was still good. The portions were great and we had plenty for leftover. The nuoc mam was delicious Spring Rolls: My least favorite of the 3, the breading wasn't super crispy and the meat filling was nothing to write home about. We ordered a grilled pork over vermicelli (bun thit nuong) for our kids and 2 banh mi and Vietnamese iced coffee for 2 adults. We utilized the outdoor seating, given it was a pretty nice day, albeit a bit windy. Firstly, the utensils that were provided, which I've intended to use to feed my kids, were really dirty. There were black stains on the knife that I had to wipe off with napkin and what resembled dry food on the fork. The banh mi was a huge disappointment - from filling to bread to flavors. We thought the vermicelli would be better but the pork was dry and the tomatoes & cucumbers in the rice box looked like they have been sitting out for days. Not the best banh mi but maybe it's because I had pretty high expectations, since they had such great reviews. We ordered via GrubHub for a pickup on a Saturday afternoon at around 12. I got there earlier than the pick up time so had to wait a bit since they were relatively busy. To start, we had the Vietnamese egg rolls. They don't skimp on the filling and it was very flavorful. But they use regular spring roll wrappers and I prefer the rice roll wrappers. For the banh mis, I ordered the the Baguette Delite (traditional sandwich with extra roast pork) and the Vietnamese Meatball. They don't serve the bread toasted, like most banh mi places make them, so I wasn't a huge fan of the bread - it was pretty chewy. The sandwiches don't come with any cucumbers or pickled daikon (only pickled carrots) so it's missing that crunch factor. The carrots don't give it enough of a crunch factor since they were shredded into small bits. However, the meat for both sandwiches were good. Although I wish the roast pork was served hot. The meatballs were made with this sweet chili sauce. Vietnamese coffee was great but they only give you half a cup, and fill the rest with ice. Another concern was that a guy came out from the kitchen, not wearing a mask - so I'm thinking there is a good chance they could be spewing Covid on your food back there. But I like to pretend that's not true. Everyone seemed to be ordering the lemongrass beef sandwich. I certainly would not make the trek all the way back here just for that, but wouldn't mind trying it if I'm in the area again. read more

I ordered take out - it had a separate order of spring rolls that I asked him three times if it included - he said its in - then he goes to make the mango tea in front of me looking at the recipe and clearly made a mess of that. I had to come back because the order did not have the Spring rolls. After reaching home I realized they gave me beef vermicelli instead of tofu vermicelli - I called and told him the made a mistake in the order - he tells me that comes with beef only - I tried explaining that is not how it is necessarily - to which his suggestion was to come back to the restaurant for a resolution - I told him that was not possible - I could send him a picture - he said that is not a way they can resolve or receive a picture.
