Came here around 8pm on a Saturday and were seated immediately as it was empty. There were 2 employees taking our order and refilling waters. Service was good, no complaints. The restaurant was clean and bright inside with spacious seating despite the small exterior of the building. I ordered the grilled pork rice vermicelli and it was pretty good, they did not skimp on the meat at all and I had a good amount leftover to take home at the end of the meal. We also got spring rolls as an appetizer although they came out after our dishes. The spring rolls were piping hot (almost too hot), crispy, and tasted good as well. My partner ordered a bun bo hue, which he said was tasty but it didn't have pork blood. Overall, a satisfying meal. Would come again to try other items on the menu, particularly the banh mi.

We are having a sandwich craving and decide to try this place again and it has changed. Sandwich is a better tastier and larger. We would definitely come back here again

This hole in the wall is really good. The bahn mi is one of thee best. They serve it on a really nice warm baguette and with the name of the establishment they are doing that right!! They look like they revamped in the inside it's actually really cute, wooden panels and plenty of seating. The beef noodle dish was really delish, it was on their specials page! The Vietnamese spring rolls are always a win! Highly recommend this place, it doesn't let you down. Service was great and prices have definitely went up but just like everything else with inflation. Beef dish was $17. Bahn mi was $10 and spring rolls were $10.
True to its name, they serve a solid banh mi here! I haven't tried anything else on the menu, but the banh mis are filling and satisfying. I enjoyed the BBQ Pork and Lemongrass Tofu (which is a lighter option, but with nice lemongrass flavor). Weather was nice so we ate our banh mis outdoors, but the restaurant also has a spacious indoor dining area.
The vietnamese sandwiches are great and I would definitely get them again. The pho was okay. I wish the combo with the oxtail was not just two tiny pieces of oxtail for the $20. It was good in flavor but more on the clear side I'll definitely return for the bahn mi. Service: can be slow at times

I was surprised to see a lot of people comment negatively on the appearance of Baguette Delite. It's not super modern and instagram worthy perhaps, but it was very clean and I felt it had a warm and inviting charm! Plenty of seating available, yes very casual, but I felt it was a nice place for lunch. I ordered the BBQ Banh Mi combo, which comes with the full size sandwich, fries and a soda. The fries were nice and crisp while also having a potatoey consistency on the inside. They had a nice flavor that mimicked the flavor of their other dishes so maybe they are fried in the same oil or maybe they just use the same spices. Either way, they were good and had a flavor to them. The Banh mi was delicious but I had small issues with the vegetables: there weren't enough jalepeno (only two slices on a pretty large sandwich), and the carrot was shredded, I prefer when there is a bit more bite to it. I also would have liked some sauce to add, but we took ours to go so I only had what was available to me at work. Had we stayed there to eat, it looked like there was a large variety of different sauces to choose from. They also have plenty of different bubble tea flavors. I ordered the coconut and it did not disappoint! There was only one person working there when we came in (that I could see), but it was not busy and she was very friendly and accommodating. All in all it was a very tasty lunch, we will definitely order from here again.

The broth in the pho was so good that I didn't want to ruin it with the usual hoisin and sriracha or any other toppings. The bbq pork chop combo was different from what I've previously had elsewhere. Intense marinated Flavors. So delicious. I highly recommend this spot. I only found this because they're open at 10am While everyone else opens at 11 or later.
Food tasted good overall but the interior could be cleaner. Combo pork chop on rice-pork chop was soft and marinated perfectly with great taste. Large combo pho-meat was too tough for me that I couldn't chew most of them. Noodles and soup tasted nice. The portion size of the large was the perfect serving size for me since the regular size wouldn't be enough food. You can pay at the counter and the food is brought to you.

Good to see they have upgraded themselves from a mainly takeout joint to a properly sit-down restaurant. They were the first Vietnamese restaurant in the area, but now there are many competitions, some with better locations near Asian supermarkets. Wish them luck!

Love it! Finally stumbled into here! Love the decor. Bathroom is clean and smells amazing. They dont have dessert , but plenty of Boba teas and other drinks. The wings are a must get. Theyre sweet and sticky. Slightly crispy. The lemongrass tofu banh mi hit the spot. The lemongrass flavor shines in the marinated tofu. The tofu was soft and smooshed, versus the typical grilled tofu I have on these sandwiches. It seemed like it was mimicking chicken. My date loved his brisket pho. The wings took longer than our entrees. Would come back. read more
My brother-in-law recommended this place a while ago, I finally have a chance to stop by to sample their Banh mi sandwich. I ordered the traditional (B1) and shrimp rolls. They are both really good and tasty though bit pricy. The sandwich has slices of Jalapeño to give it a good kick. The shrimp rolls are fresh with all the right ingredients. If you say no ice.... This is how much drink you get. Mind you.... These are LARGE drinks. The NERVE of the lady on the phone to do this ! & the audacity that ICE would make THIS MUCH of a difference!!!!! This is SO offensive. read more
We went to dine and tried their Vietnamese food. We ordered large beef brisket Phò and BBQ pork sandwich. The beef brisket were thinly sliced, soft and almost melts in your mouth, taste great. The bbq pork sandwich is delicious. The place is well lighted and clean. The serving staff are friendly and helpful. read more

Ordered takeout with a bunch of other people from my work. My sandwich happened to be very good. I got the bbq pork bahn mi and the shrimp spring rolls. Break for the bahn mi was the right amount of crispy/crunchy outside but not cut the roof of your mouth and soft inner and I thought the bbq pork was flavorful. I heard other co workers say the meat in their sandwiches was a little dry. Spring rolls were a good size and filling ratio was good...dipping sauce was also tasty. I would def come back and get the same things I ordered...curious to try a broken rice platter. read more

My Bánh Mì was Bomb to me! I ordered the pork sandwich and egg rolls. I did not mind the 20 minute wait for my fresh made sandwich. The bread was soft and toasty in the right spots. The veggies were cut fresh and crispy. The cilantro was plentiful. The jalapeños were crunchy and full of heat. The julienned radish was marinated and packed with flavor. The meat was sliced thinly, tender to the bite, slightly sweet and piled on. The sandwich was packed with care, It felt like there was a piece of everything for every single bite. Looking forward to the next visit to try other menu items. read more

Ordered a few things for delivery last night from here- beef pho, lemongrass beef on vermicelli and the spring rolls. I've been here once before over a year ago and tried their lemongrass beef bahn mi which I remember really enjoying and prompted the order of the lemongrass beef entree. Beef Pho: If you are in the mood for pho, this definitely delivers. It comes with brisket and raw beef and both meats were very good. The broth itself has a nice flavor and there was a good portion of the noodles, onions and toppings Lemongrass Beef Vermicelli: I think I prefer the lemongrass beef in the bahn mi more but this was still good. The portions were great and we had plenty for leftover. The nuoc mam was delicious Spring Rolls: My least favorite of the 3, the breading wasn't super crispy and the meat filling was nothing to write home about. Would skip these next time All in all, happy that they're now on Uber Eats and definitely want to get their bahn mi again and would be open to getting pho from here as well. read more

Not the best banh mi but maybe it's because I had pretty high expectations, since they had such great reviews. We ordered via GrubHub for a pickup on a Saturday afternoon at around 12. I got there earlier than the pick up time so had to wait a bit since they were relatively busy. To start, we had the Vietnamese egg rolls. They don't skimp on the filling and it was very flavorful. But they use regular spring roll wrappers and I prefer the rice roll wrappers. For the banh mis, I ordered the the Baguette Delite (traditional sandwich with extra roast pork) and the Vietnamese Meatball. They don't serve the bread toasted, like most banh mi places make them, so I wasn't a huge fan of the bread - it was pretty chewy. The sandwiches don't come with any cucumbers or pickled daikon (only pickled carrots) so it's missing that crunch factor. The carrots don't give it enough of a crunch factor since they were shredded into small bits. However, the meat for both sandwiches were good. Although I wish the roast pork was served hot. The meatballs were made with this sweet chili sauce. Vietnamese coffee was great but they only give you half a cup, and fill the rest with ice. Another concern was that a guy came out from the kitchen, not wearing a mask - so I'm thinking there is a good chance they could be spewing Covid on your food back there. But I like to pretend that's not true. Everyone seemed to be ordering the lemongrass beef sandwich. I certainly would not make the trek all the way back here just for that, but wouldn't mind trying it if I'm in the area again. read more
We stopped by Baguette Delite as a result of rave recommendations on Yelp, right before a long drive to a family road trip destination. We ordered a grilled pork over vermicelli (bun thit nuong) for our kids and 2 banh mi and Vietnamese iced coffee for 2 adults. We utilized the outdoor seating, given it was a pretty nice day, albeit a bit windy. Firstly, the utensils that were provided, which I've intended to use to feed my kids, were really dirty. There were black stains on the knife that I had to wipe off with napkin and what resembled dry food on the fork. The banh mi was a huge disappointment - from filling to bread to flavors. We thought the vermicelli would be better but the pork was dry and the tomatoes & cucumbers in the rice box looked like they have been sitting out for days. The only items we enjoyed were the Vietnamese iced coffees ... what a bummer. read more

I had the tofu pho and tofu summer rolls, and the food was good, but the service was awful. The woman working tonight was inattentive and lacked basic hospitality, which made me feel uncomfortable enough to just pay my bill and leave. I paid through Toast Tab, as noted on the receipt, but she came outide when I was in my car and said I hadn't paid. I had to show her the receipt on my phone, and even then, she didn't apologize. It was a frustrating experience from start to finish--definitely won't be returning. Now I'm at Tommy's Tavern enjoying my meal. read more

The first time I visited, I was put off by the parking lot and the interior, but learned not to let appearances deceive me. The ambiance may not be the best, but that's how you know the food will be legit. Baguette Delite is undoubtedly my #1 favorite pho spot in central jersey. You pay for your food at the front first and then the workers will bring the food to your table. Rutgers students also get a small discount! The spring rolls are always hot and my go-to, the beef brisket pho, is unbelievably good. You get a really large serving even for the smallest size of pho. Definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area! read more

The rating is a 3.5 if only for food. And a 1 star for the service The person who is the cashier just does not understand the job or what Vietnamese food or culture is. I ordered take out - it had a separate order of spring rolls that I asked him three times if it included - he said its in - then he goes to make the mango tea in front of me looking at the recipe and clearly made a mess of that. I had to come back because the order did not have the Spring rolls. After reaching home I realized they gave me beef vermicelli instead of tofu vermicelli - I called and told him the made a mistake in the order - he tells me that comes with beef only - I tried explaining that is not how it is necessarily - to which his suggestion was to come back to the restaurant for a resolution - I told him that was not possible - I could send him a picture - he said that is not a way they can resolve or receive a picture. Needless to say they really need someone who takes orders to understand what Vietnamese food is. read more

Taking the trip up to Central Jersey from the Vietnamese-restaurant rich Camden County (South Jersey) and Philly area. Actually lived in Edison ~2015 and came here often. Back again so of course, I need to see how they're doing. They have a variety of Vietnamese dishes that are staples in the cuisine. Looking at their menu (and the name of the place) they definitely specialize in Vietnamese sandwiches. Called banh mi or pronounced like (baahn me) with banh going up in tone and mi going down in tone. Anyway. Basics. Parking is a bit rough. This place can get busy during lunch. You can eat inside, good for groups up to 4 or so. I ordered via Google, took me to their preferred take out method - Clover. This way no delivery app (even if you're picking up) takes their money. Clover is legit. Be sure to tip if you can...its rough nowadays for everyone. Price is a couple dollars more than I'm used to in the Philly area. But I realized that they just may be better in taste and taxes are definitely higher up here. Anyway, I got the original (thit nguoi) and BBQ pork (thit heo quay?). Banh mi itself (the bread) is crispy, flaky and everything you'd want. The pate is smooth and pairs the meats with the mayo/butter they use real well. They use fermented carrots/daikon (do chua) is a great touch. The slices of jalapeños have good thickness (so many other shops slice them like its for pho or something). The cold cut meats were fresh, juicy and authentic. The bbq pork was definitely caramelized, maybe even deep fried. Incredible. Blew me away. Do I recommend this place? Heck yes. read more

If Groove Was In The Heart, it'd be Baguette Dee-Lite. But in fact, Groove is in the Banh Mi. You may want to eat here, as it's a super cute place with nice customers and friendly employees, but if you order a Baguette to go, don't worry, they'll just baguette for you. Get it. bag it. Get it. So I got the yummy Banh Mi and loved it. The barbecue pork element was good but the bread was the real star. Crispy, fresh, and delicious. I could have used more jalapeno and cilantro and stuff but I still really appreciated it. Veggies were excellent as well, as are vaggies. I'll always remember this little Vietnamese bistro as being where I came across of the most amazing girls I've seen in a long time. She totally took my breath away and she was very Jersey and exactly what I would want to see, coming to New Jersey. She seemed to like me, so I told her so, and now we're, you know, friends. In any case, she totally distracted me from a rather excellent little place with wonderful Banh Mi sandwich on perfect crispy fresh bread, which is (almost) as 5-star worthy as my new friend is. Has this place changed ownership since they first opened?
I'm pretty sure they did. They completely remodeled a couple of years ago, changed the look of their menu, and changed personnel.
Is the pho gluten free?
Pho typically uses rice noodle, which is gluten free. But, you should ask restaurant, encase they use some other type of noodle. Should ask for ingredients, as the broth may have soy sauce, which has gluten.
I have nut allergies....can i eat at Baguette delite?
Oof. That depends on the severity. I know for a fact they have nuts because they're sprinkled on top of noodle bowls. If them just being around hits you I wouldn't. If your concerned about cross contamination...it's hard to say because you want to…
Do they have green tea soft serve?
No longer having the soft serve machine for green tea. The former owner used to have that machine before. They only serve the green bubble tea version.
Can bun bo hue be part of the menu?
