Been here a few times. Always love the food. I have ordered different items on their menu and it has not disappoint. Would recommend and obviously be back. read more

Great food, great service! This is one of my favorite places for Vietnamese food in Edison, NJ especially the Com Tam One entree. The combination of grilled pork, Vietnamese meatloaf, fried spring rolls & fried stuff bean curd is one of my favorite dishes. The meatloaf is so good here I sometimes just get a rice dish with the meatloaf which I'm sure is strange ask. Kudos to the staff for actually accommodating as well. LOL. There are plenty of tables to eat in and the service is always friendly. read more

We decided to come here for dinner and were immediately seated after arriving. The restaurant is medium in size, with tables seating up to 4 people covering the floor. The counter is in the background of the restaurant and behind it is a white wall with a cross-hatch pattern. Mounted TVs play soundlessly over the restaurant and the floor is made of smooth wooden panels. We ordered the following: Appetizer #5 - Banh Xeo- Vietnamese rice flour pancake made with shrimp, pork, scallions and bean sprouts. Hubs thought this was nice but it's not as crispy as he expected. B3-Grilled Pork and Egg Rolls (Bun Thit Nuóng Cha Gin) - a dry rice noodle dish with shredded lettuce, mint, pickled carrots & radish, cucumber, scallion oil. The entree comes with crushed peanuts but we asked for them to hold the peanuts because of an allergy. This was pretty good. The rolls were nice and crispy. B13- Bun Rieu - tomato and crab paste broth noodle soup. We thought this was delicious. It came with pig's blood which NJ restaurants almost never serve. Hubs promptly took it out of Daughter's bowl. LOL. She liked her order, as well. B12- Bun Bo Hue - spicy beef and pork noodle soup (made with beef broth). This also came with pig's blood, as well. Hubs said that this order was one of the best that he's had in a while. A lot of restaurants try to Americanize this dish by eliminating pig's blood and pork's trotter from it. I also got a Vietnamese iced coffee and that was good, as well. Service was quick. Will return when in the neighborhood to to try other items on the menu! read more

Stopped in for a quick lunch before s long drive home. One Vietnamese coffee - tasty, but a small cup. Two bowls of pho w filet mignon - hot, plenty of sprouts, only two sprigs of basil and two lime wedges. Broth was good, plenty of noodles, but a bowl was $18.95. Good place, nice staff, but on the more expensive side of pho places in the area. read more

I'm not sure what happened to this place, maybe economy? Maybe just cheapened? It used to be great portions and I'd select the XL always because I love the size of it and at the time, 18.95 was the value. Now? Check your receipts -- they do like a 3% surcharge to the prices so it doesn't match the menu at all. Above all else, there is no XL, the L (I am only assuming here) got the bump in price to 18.95. I mean, the flavors are still there, tastes like your typical pho that you'd enjoy, but the prices doesn't make me have an appetite. Not sure if I'd come back simply due to the price not matching the menu and if you pay cash it will... Very predatory, maybe too much for me. Sorry, but will be finding another pho place. read more

I have been trying all different Pho restaurants around Edison recently. This place is overall great! Great service, great food and huge portions! I like the menu, seems to have a lot of options that's necessary in a pho restaurant; noodle soup, bahn mi, broken rice and vermicelli noodles! Definitely will be back here. Workers were efficient and friendly! read more

On our way to Atlantic city looking for a place to eat right off the highway. This place is a few minutes away from the exit. The food was good but doesn't stand out, standard Vietnamese food. The portion is not big. The establishment is very open and spacious. Service was ok but the food got here pretty quickly. 3.5 stars good but not great. read more

It's nice to have soup when the weather is cold. Pho One in Metuchen serves a wide variety of Vietnamese Soups. We have tried the Pho / Beef Noodle Soup (Pho Nam Gan with Slices of Beef Flank and Tendons). It was really good. We also had the Pork and Shrimp roll as appetizer. This is a nice Vietnamese restaurant offering a variety in their menu, the service is good and ambiance is nice. It's also byob, so give it a try. read more

Been coming here since it 1st opened up but now the prices went up but the quantity and quality went down. Back then a XL large bowl was just $16 you get a ton of tripe, tendon, and brisket. Now for $18.95 you get a smaller bowl then it used to. They downsized the XL bowl to what used to be a large bowl and maybe 3-4 slices of brisket and not even any tripe or tendon. I don't buy the economy crap because the prices went up and there are other Pho places like Pho Today charging the same but still give the same amount. Maybe a lot of newer customers don't know but I know for sure 2-3 years ago a XL bowl is huge. If you're gonna up the prices, you have to keep the portions and quantity the same. Otherwise I can't come back when other Pho places have bigger portions and didn't raise the prices above yours. read more

First time at Pho One and it was amazing. The banh mi was really delicious and both pho soups were tasty especially with the sauce they have on the table. An authentic Vietnamese restaurant off the highway of Metuchen, NJ. We came here for dinner and the place was very spacious and clean with plenty of seating areas. The restaurant provided excellent and attentive services We ordered a mixed variety of Vietnamese food. We got 2 pho, grilled chicken vermicelli, and grilled pork chop over rice. Portions size for all four dishes were huge and we almost couldn't finish it. Their food tasted very authentic and fresh. I was visiting from California and stayed in a hotel in Edison, NJ. The weather was cold and so I was looking for a restaurant nearby that serves warm soup. Yelp had this restaurant as one of the nearby choices. So I checked it out. It was in a safe location with easy access and lots of parking. The place was clean and spacious. We ordered Pho Soup, Beef & Shrimp over rice, and Summer Rolls. They were all good! The service was great and with friendly and very courteous servers. They even recommended what is good and reasonably priced dishes in their restaurant. California has many excellent Vietnamese restaurants and this one will rank favorably amongst them. read more

Came back recently to try new items from the menu. Tried the Pho one pho and a bahn mi with pork. The pho was good, wish they added more protein and noodles. Feels like I got way more pho the 1st time - enough to take home left overs. Because I was still hungry, I tried Bahn mi for the first time, it was good but too sweet for my liking. I don't think I'd order again. read more

Really good pho spot and I especially like eating thr pork chop they make here. They have a pho with pork option which is perfect for the wifey. Last few times we've been here it has been really good. Last time though I think there was more oil than usual but could've been a off day. Still ate it all. My friend got the seafood noodle dish which looked pretty good so I'll have to try that next time. Also sell bubble tea here. read more

Love this place!! They deliver consistently delicious Vietnamese cuisine in a super welcoming setting. The vermicelli with spring rolls and pork was a standout--light yet flavorful. The spring rolls were perfectly crispy and well seasoned, even without fish sauce. The pork was tender, not too fatty, and had just the right balance of savory flavor. The pho was rich and comforting, with a well-developed broth, and the rice with pork chop was equally satisfying. Best Vietnamese restaurant in NJ! read more

This is my favorite spot for pho! I come here at least once a week seriously. I get an XL pho soup with the shrimp eggrolls, and everything is absolutely delicious. The broth in the pho was rich and flavorful, with perfectly cooked noodles and fresh toppings on the side. The shrimp eggrolls are perfectly crispy, well-seasoned, and paired beautifully with the fish sauce. The service is super quick too, but you never feel rushed. It's a pretty quiet, local spot but you should definitely check it out if you like Vietnamese food. read more

Great place for Vietnamese food. Nice location easy to get to, located on Rt. 1. They have parking lot right outside of the restaurant. I went there for lunch on Sunday and had no problem getting seated. Food was tasty. We started off with crispy roll which came with lettuce, then fried rice and combo dish of some sort which was recommended by the waitress. It was simple decorated place and very clean. The price was good with nice size portion. The service was top notch. I recommend this place for a good Vietnamese meal. I would definitely return. I can't speak more highly of the food and excellent customer service. The extra large pho dac biet or p2 was absolutely massive with very generous portions of steak, flank, meatballs, brisket, tripe, and tendons.
