A BM2 - A sandwich featuring sliced beef, shredded vegetables such as cabbage and carrots, and condiments, served on a hoagie roll with a partially sliced top. The sandwich is placed on a piece of wax paper on a wooden table, with some chopped green onions and sauce remnants visible around it.

Had a coworker last Wednesday, 10/08/25, recommend checking this spot out for a good Bahn Mi sandwich. They were not kidding! We did a pick up order & although we didnt Dine in the place looked nice & clean from the inside! Service was very quick & efficient. I also enjoyed how they gave the toppings on the side to put on at your leisure! Will definitely check this spot out again!

First time at Pho One and it was amazing. The banh mi was really delicious and both pho soups were tasty especially with the sauce they have on the table. We also had chicken wings which were sweet and yummy. Service was immaculate with the server being super attentive. Safe to say we will be coming back!

Amazing authentic Vietnamese restaurant. The food is fresh and the fragrance really captures you. I also appreciate the way they plate their dishes. Bright colors and bold taste! The restaurant itself is large of to seat plenty and very clean. The staff is also attentive and so polite. Food is priced accordingly and the portion sizes are not skimpy. So maybe great food options too The Vermicille with grilled chicken is good The Pho is so rich and so flavorful. You can not go wrong with your selections here. Definitely coming back

Pho Nam Gan - Pho Beef Noodle Soup (Slices of Beef Flank and Tendon)

It's nice to have soup when the weather is cold. Pho One in Metuchen serves a wide variety of Vietnamese Soups. We have tried the Pho / Beef Noodle Soup (Pho Nam Gan with Slices of Beef Flank and Tendons). It was really good. We also had the Pork and Shrimp roll as appetizer. This is a nice Vietnamese restaurant offering a variety in their menu, the service is good and ambiance is nice. It's also byob, so give it a try.

Craving some vermicelli and came across Pho One. Food was really good. Started with the beef and shrimp summer roll and went with the grilled pork vermicelli. Goth delicious. Oh, and found a Vietnamese hot sauce that we don't have in Cali. Super yummy.

The food is delicious and the service is fast! The waiter was very attentive and funny. I am loyal to a Vietnamese restaurant from my childhood but this restaurant is a very close contender for me

Came back recently to try new items from the menu. Tried the Pho one pho and a bahn mi with pork. The pho was good, wish they added more protein and noodles. Feels like I got way more pho the 1st time - enough to take home left overs. Because I was still hungry, I tried Bahn mi for the first time, it was good but too sweet for my liking. I don't think I'd order again.

An authentic Vietnamese restaurant off the highway of Metuchen, NJ. We came here for dinner and the place was very spacious and clean with plenty of seating areas. The restaurant provided excellent and attentive services We ordered a mixed variety of Vietnamese food. We got 2 pho, grilled chicken vermicelli, and grilled pork chop over rice. Portions size for all four dishes were huge and we almost couldn't finish it. Their food tasted very authentic and fresh. Price is definitely reasonable for the portion size and freshness of their food.

P5. Pho Nam Gau - A bowl of Vietnamese pho contains sliced beef, chopped green onions, cilantro, and herbs in a clear, aromatic broth. The beef is thinly sliced and partially cooked, with onions floating on the surface. The bowl is placed on a wooden table, with a side dish of vegetables visible in the background. The image captures the ingredients and presentation typical of traditional Vietnamese pho.

This is my favorite spot for pho! I come here at least once a week seriously. I get an XL pho soup with the shrimp eggrolls, and everything is absolutely delicious. The broth in the pho was rich and flavorful, with perfectly cooked noodles and fresh toppings on the side. The shrimp eggrolls are perfectly crispy, well-seasoned, and paired beautifully with the fish sauce. The service is super quick too, but you never feel rushed. It's a pretty quiet, local spot but you should definitely check it out if you like Vietnamese food.

Ban Bo Hue is my new favorite Vietnamese food and it was really good here at Pho One. The portion was great and the soup was delicious.

A bowl of Vietnamese pho with beef slices, rice noodles, and sliced green chili peppers in a clear broth. The bowl is on a wooden table, with a red spoon and chopsticks. Additional condiments and drinks are visible on the table, and another bowl of pho is in the background. The setting appears to be a restaurant.

Lua Vietnamese in Edison pleasantly surprised us with both flavor and creativity…read more We ordered the beef pho, which was deeply aromatic with a clean, rich broth and tender slices of beef. The standout twist? You can add bone marrow on the side, which takes the soup to another level--luxurious, savory, and perfect for stirring into the broth for extra depth. A must for pho lovers who appreciate a little indulgence. For appetizers, the sticky rice dish was excellent--crispy on the outside, soft and comforting inside, and well-balanced with sauce and texture. Simple, satisfying, and done right. The space itself is sleek and modern with warm tones and greenery, making it a great spot for a relaxed lunch or casual dinner. Service was friendly and efficient, and everything came out well-paced.

I love short ribs so this was an easy decision for me. The ribs were very tasty and delicious with a very flavorful marinade. Some pieces were a bit on the chewy side but that's meant to be expected. The veggies were fresh and crisp and made a nice accompaniment. My hubby went with the Lemongrass pork chop platter that had a little bit of everything. He also commented that the chops had a very tasty marinade very similar to my ribs. He enjoyed his dish as well. Service was very friendly and attentive and we look forward to our next visit and sampling something new on the menu.

Our waitress took our order without writing anything down, and that carelessness quickly showed. We specifically asked for the bean sprouts to be cooked because we were dining with a toddler, but that request was forgotten. We also ordered a smoothie that never arrived. At first we let it go, assuming that if it never came out, it probably wouldn't appear on the bill. Unfortunately, it did, so we had to ask for it to be removed. The billing correction was then handled in a confusing way. We were given two separate receipts: one showing the full amount with a 3% credit card fee added, and another showing the smoothie being deducted as a separate transaction. It wasn't immediately clear how the two receipts were meant to be read together, especially since one of the totals appeared higher than the original bill. To be clear, the 3% charge itself wasn't really the issue. The problem was that while correcting their own mistake, no one took a moment to explain what was happening or offer even a simple apology for the confusion - or for the missed order, for that matter. That was really the theme of the entire experience: forgetfulness, confusion, and a complete lack of acknowledgment. No one said "sorry for the confusion," no one said "that was our mistake," and when we left, no one acknowledged us or thanked us for coming. Mistakes happen. But a little attentiveness and basic courtesy go a long way. Here, though, there was no real effort to *smoothie* things over .

A casual dine in spot with ample amount of seating. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share and we liked all of them. Although not easy to find on the tail end of a nondescript commercial strip, we saw its sign and walked in to a decent sized dining room with a half dozen booths along one wall and about a dozen tables spread across the remainder. Plenty of original watercolors displayed and for sale on the walls. David the proprietor seemed to be handling most of the operation himself. He sat us, took our order, disappeared into the kitchen to participate in its preparation and served our four courses to us in traditional style - separately as ready. The food was excellent. We chose from both the lunch and regular menu, which were integrated seamlessly. Fried Pork Chop, Crispy Fried Intestine, Fish Fillets in Chili Sauce from the mains, and Orange Beef from the lunch list. I started with Hot &Sour Soup, which was flavorful and loaded with tofu, sprouts, pork slivers and potent vinegar. Loved it! The Pork Chop was deboned and pressed thin. The result was a crisp sliced Katsu-like cutlet with nice flavor and long crunchy chew. The Intestine was also crisp and filled with green beans that mixed well with the hardened shell and soft innards. Not my fave, but my lovely partner ate it enthusiastically. The Fish and Chili was very good, with tender lightly breaded white fish fillets and red chili sauce that included small pieces of celery, sprouts and cabbage, in a large bowl. Finally, the lunch sized Orange Beef was delicious with sweet and spicy amber sauce coating the pieces of lightly crisped beef. Ubiquitous broccoli sprigs added color to the dish. Service was friendly and accommodating. David was happy to interact and talk about his business there. Red Onion is a Five Star keeper.
