This is a fun and nice place to go for bubble tea drinks though you'd never guess it by it's humble appearance on the outside. They served my gang delicious bubble tea and slushie drinks. I enjoyed a refreshing mango smoothie! Also, fun area to hang with a basketball vending machine and foosball table that my kids thoroughly enjoyed!
My wish is granted at this Mr Wish. The drinks are always perfect here, they come out pretty quick and always match my request of less sugar and less ice. This Mr. Wish is a little off the beaten path. There are plenty of options for lunch/dinner nearby but it may be a little out of range to walk to after dinner. Having said that, this is a great place to visit anytime with friends. The seats are comfortable and the games are plenty. Jenga was a favorite of my group on prior visits and that served to entertain perfectly while waiting for our drinks. Parking is a limited but the drinks are worth it.
There's been so many new bubble tea places in the area but this one stands out. Very close to the grocery stores in the area as well. Selection of milk and fruit teas that are all fresh (no powder). They also offer small snacks (crepe cake, bubble waffles). Ordered the Oolong milk tea and black milk tea. Neither were watered down and their black tea has this distinct flavor that I haven't had elsewhere. Generous with the bubbles (which are on the softer side) and the milk is smooth/creamy. Prices are reasonable and would definitely come back.
Mr. Wish is open for takeout during normal hours and has become one of my staples for bubble tea/fruity drinks! The staff there are all wearing masks (didn't see any gloves though) and drink orders are made pretty quickly so you are in and out in a jiffy. You basically choose the flavor, the size (medium or large), sugar/ice level and additional toppings are extra charge which is similar to other bubble tea spots. I've tried their pearl milk tea as well as their fruit teas and everything tastes fresh. They normally have a bright and spacious lounge seating area which has been closed off for COVID and turned more into a waiting room for pickup orders. Parking is a bit limited, but did not have trouble finding a spot. This is one of my go to spots in the area and would definitely come back whenever I need my BBT fix.
Drinks are refreshing for sure! Just wish the parking was a little more visible. Love the hangout seating section. Very cozy!!! Quiet during the weekdays. You can bring a book and read and have your favorite bubble tea!
Competition in NY is vicious But I found the Boba most delicious So friendly and cute And the best ever fruit Mr. Wish fulfils all of your wishes What to get: Every fruit tea, or the milk tea, and waffle cakes How I get it: Less ice (not I.C.E.) What not to get: Deported (by I.C.E.) Now it's time to rap. Better than sex (unless your partner is DELISH) Better than spooning (and running with the DISH) Better than Gillian Anderson (and Annabeth GISH) Better than arranged marriages (too TRADISH) Better than your main dude (and your side BISH) Better than Pierogies (and even a KNISH) Better than being Christian (or Muslim or JEWISH) Better than Stacy Keibler (and Sable and TRISH) Better than Katy Perry ('specially in Swish SWISH) Better than The Band Perry (and all that country ISH) Better than doggy (but not quite as good as MISH) The best fruit tea in the world is MR WISH WHAT! I remembered to blow out my candles but I missed a wish. Well if you, like me, missed a wish, then make up for your wish by wishing yourself away to one of the greatest boba/bubble tea franchises in the world. My notes for this wonderful location said: The owner is a super friendly woman and we talked for ages. My beloved Apple Black Tea is a fresh Apple tea and very tasty. She doesn't mind making my drink with black tea. A lot of the Mr Wish locations in Jersey and Pennsylvania are not quite as good as the amazing standard of Great Neck New York or Houston in terms of the strong fruit taste in their drinks and the excellent tea they use, and the attention to detail and being willing to go off menu for their drinks. But this one is - and then some - and I really appreciate that. Edison is packed full of excellent Boba, more than anywhere in NJ, but if I had to pick just one shop to hang out in and to send you to, I'd send you here, to Mr Wish. I love the decor, I love the owner, and I love the products obsessively, especially the fruit teas. The woman in charge uses common sense and heart and soul and she deserves massive success more than almost any other boba shop in New Jersey or on the East Coast. Truly wonderful people, and a truly wonderful place to hang out. Made me sad that they were quiet... I want their business to be rocking. And when there are dogs on the TV it just makes the place twice as wonderful for hanging out, so note to the other owner: go with the dogs - the girl is always right. Maybe some cats too FYI (meow). So. Easily one of my favorite Boba shops on the East Coast and one of my top three Mr Wish locations on earth, and this is coming from someone that has been to all of them, literally. Mr Wish standouts: Apple Black Tea, Passion Fruit Fiber Jelly w/Black tea, Orange Grapefruit Fiber Jelly w/Black Tea, Wish Special Fruit Tea, Berry w/Black tea, Wow Milk Tea. Part of the reason their fruity drinks are so good is that they use real fruit and so the taste is just magnificent, whether it's the apple or the passion fruit or the mixed fruit or so many others. Best fruit teas on earth. Friendliest owner imaginable. Jersey's best and most underrated Boba shop. If I was in Jersey, I'd come in here every night. And for once I'm not talking about Barbie (but I come in there every night too). You could call me a bubble tea junkie And I know that some Boba tastes funky But Mr Wish is so dreamy That each night you should see me Drinking it while I spank my monkey.
The cream-filled bubble waffles are so funny, in addition to being yummy. They were serving the paw-shaped ones. Lately, they have been serving the turkey ones. The colorful fruit tea is top tier. The pieces of fruit are the perfect size. When I am craving fresh fruit tea, I come here.
Known for their fruit teas! Would recommend at least 30% or even 60% sugar especially for the more sour fruits. Their teas are all brewed. I am personally a fan of their regular black tea. It is quite a distinct and unique flavor, unlike any of the other spots around. The oolong is also a strong flavor. Matcha tastes authentic. The toppings definitely add sweetness to the drinks. Their pearls are quite soft and sticky, not suitable to everyone's taste. They also offer coconut jelly which is definitely worth a try there and recommended to me by the barista when they were out of pearls. Their wish waffle cakes are also really good if you want something to eat. They do take a while to make so order it first. Place is quite large. There is plenty of indoor seating and board games you can play. I enjoyed studying here. Parking is pretty small and tight though. Not the easiest place to get in when there is a lot of traffic.
This review is for their new handmade boba oolong milk tea drink! They only serve Fri-Sun. I can't believe that we have fresh handmade boba in Edison now! The boba is very soft, and a little chewy. Because it's fresh, it's not as chewy as regular boba. The sweetness level is perfect, as they don't add additional sugar, just the brown sugar from cooking the boba. They give a lot of boba (I finished my drink and there was still a lot left). I think if possible, I would get less ice next time since there was a lot of ice left too.
I came here a few times with my daughters and I have finally decided to write a review for this bubble tea shop. Customer Service: The staff here is friendly and knowledgeable with the products. Mango Tea w/ Fresh Pulp: It does not have any Mango taste at all until you reach the bottom of the cup where the pulp is. It felt like I was drinking flavored water and the drink was not sweet enough. Peach Tea w/ Fresh Pulp: The Peach flavor was all the way on the bottom where the pulp was as well. Towards the top of the cup, the drink had a weird taste. Kumquat Lemon: This drink lacks the kumquat lemon flavor. It has a bad after taste as if I was drinking bad water. Plain Wish Waffle Cake: The cake was all dough and my daughter bit into an egg shell, thank god she did not choke on it. They should be more careful when cracking the eggs to make the waffle cakes. Egg Custard Wish Waffle Cake: It has a creamy taste in the middle of the cake but was mostly dough and not enough filling. Red Bean Wish Waffle Cake: This was the best Wish Waffle Cake but they do not have a lot of red bean filling inside; instead they have a lot of dough and very little red bean. If it had more red bean then it would taste much better and customers would be more satisfied. Apple Tea w/ Fresh Pulp: This drink has a weird taste to it and the sago balls taste different as well. It does not have an apple flavor taste to it but a taste that I can not describe. Overall: The staff are very friendly but the drinks need a little more work with the flavoring along with the sweetness. They need to be more attentive when making the Wish Waffle Cakes so people do not bite into an egg shell or something else.
Passion fruit green tea I've had better quality green tea...there's not enough passion fruit for me..
Me and my daughters really liked this place. Great variety of unique bubble teas, smoothies and little desserts. Staff is great and we didn't have to wait long for our order. Prices of bubble teas are comparable to most of the other places in the area. Parking may be a little tough because of the location . They also have little crepe cakes and few other treats .
Watch out people, there is a new bubble tea king in town and his name is Mr. Wish. Friend told me to check this place out and I'm so glad I did. First time so I had to get the pearl milk tea for me and the fam. I am going to give it an A+ for the tapioca, sweetness, ice, tea. Just an exceptional bubble tea folks. Convenient parking lot attached to the storefront. I will be coming back. Thanks Mr. Wish!
Good quality boba spot in Edison. Prices is reasonable vs other places... Paid 6.5 for a large size. Drink tasted fine. Large space with plenty of seating and some games such as foosball and board games. Parking lot available read more

That was my first time at Mr. Wish, and I really enjoyed it! It's a cool, spacious spot with a great vibe. The service was quick, and the staff was super friendly. I tried the custard waffle and the colorful fruit tea, both were absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend checking this place out. read more

The La Colombe crossover is amazing. I hope it's here to stay because I keep thinking about the lychee latte. I know, an odd pairing. But let me tell you -- it works so well! Just get 30% sugar since the lychee is already sweet. read more

This place is one of my favorite bubble tea places in the area. There Oolong milk tea is fantastic and their pastries are hot and fresh. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. They also have games to play while waiting or enjoying your bubble tea. Would recommend. read more
First time trying this bubble tea shop. The interior is aesthetic and bright, which allows for a picture perfect setting. I ordered the black milk tea with no sugar nor boba. The tea was refreshing and the milk balances the black tea. The menu is immense and varies from sparkling tea to smoothies and some snacks. read more

Ordered: Pearl Milk Tea, 3Q Milk Tea, Custard Waffle Cake, Mango Crepe Cake Mel: Overall, I was pretty disappointed by the boba here. I ordered 0% sugar, but whatever syrup they soak the tapioca in was sweet enough to make my entire drink sweet. Pretty much defeats the purpose of having a 0% sugar option. The texture of the tapioca was also too soft for my liking. Now onto the mango crepe cake. I love crepe cakes, so I figured I'd give it a try. Learn from my mistakes and skip the crepe cake. Not only did it not taste fresh, but the slice was so small that we finished it in 5 bites. The only item I would actually recommend is the waffle cake, which comes in a box of 5. They came out warm and soft. The custard was light and not overly sweet, which was refreshing. Joo: We stopped by after lunch to try the boba, but it was nothing special. I did enjoy the waffle cakes though! read more
A new personal favorite! ENVIRONMENT: Came here to study with a friend, and this environment was an amazing place to! Mr. Wish has a great aesthetic going on; the music is also not too loud/overpowering, which created the perfect study space for me. The TV also plays cute and funny animal/pet videos. They also offer different board and card games, which they leave out on the tables. Whether it's studying, hanging with a friend, or just needing to sit somewhere to be mindless, Mr. Wish is a great place to do so BUBBLE TEA: I had ordered Black Milk Tea with bubbles, pudding and 30% sugar, and it was SPOT ON! The sugar levels were exactly how I wanted them to be, and Mr. Wish is VERY generous with their bubbles (as compared to other Boba stores I have been to). I always get a regular milk tea when trying out a new boba place because I believe if a place could make a great regular bubble tea, then they could make everything else well. And Mr. Wish definetely showed me just that! I'm looking VERY forward to coming back and trying more drinks! read more
Mr Wish is actually a chain. My first encounter with then was in New Hope, PA. I wanted to try this place as it was recommended to me by both Terri and Pamela. These two Rockstars were correct with their assessment. The Kid and I ordered wow, pearl milk tea and kumquat and lemon fiber jelly tea. The Pearl milk tea has a very nice strong tea taste with incredibly soft pearls. At 30% sugar, it was well balanced and not overly sweet. While the name really does include the "wow," it wasn't mind blowing. It's an above standard milk tea. Now let's go to the kumquat and lemon fiber jelly tea! Try and say that three times fast. That was mind blowing. It was very refreshing and a great lemony taste. They include chia seeds for fiber encased in jelly form. As most who know me, I'm a coffee lover so for me to get this excited about tea, that's saying something. The place is incredibly clean and they offer snacks as well as beverages. They're WiFi was spotty but I didn't really come and stay too long. There are comfortable chairs and a sofa but for such a spacious area, they didn't utilize it to their advantage. I went on a weekday so parking was not too bad. Only one spot was left. However, I would have to see it on weekends because other businesses share that parking space. This is why I had to take away a star. My suggestion would be to park across at Burger King and walk across the street for a quick pick up. Would I visit again? If I'm on the area, you bet. read more

This has been my second time visiting a mr wish, and it's better than I remember! I went to the one in PA, and maybe it was the ambiance but it didn't seem as good as today. I ordered a pearl milk tea, and asked for almond milk, which they didn't have but I was informed the milk was dairy free. The space is much bigger than you would expect from the outside--so I sat while drinking. They have WiFi so if you need to get some things done, that's a plus. The bubble tea itself was perfect. I asked for no extra sugar, and it was perfectly sweet with the amount of sweetener that the tapioca balls are steeped in. And the tapioca balls were just the way I like them, not too chewy, not too soft. read more
First impressions are everything and Mr. Wish delivered. Although I missed out on the grand opening promotions, I was still excited to try one of many bubble tea shops in the Edison area. I need to move to Edison so I can surround myself with all these tea shops. Here is what we ordered: - Colorful Fruit Tea My kiddo enjoyed this refreshing drink. Because of the already added bits of fruit in the drink, I suggest ordering this at 30%. - Wow! Oolong Milk Tea We were told that the "Wow" milk teas are made with lactaid. It's been two hours after finishing my Wow! Oolong Milk Tea, I feel fine. I can taste the tea and that is a big plus for me. - Red Bean & Pudding Milk Tea Hubby ordered this and it was yummy. Perfect with 30% sugar, the red bean and pudding wasn't too sweet. I don't like pudding in drinks because it usually taste artificial but this tasted very fresh, like they made it themselves. Pro: Clean (well of course it's clean, they just opened), modern, beautifully decorated space to lounge or just to hang around with your friends or do some work. Con: Parking is very limited with no street parking available. Good luck. Thanks Stella L.! ;) read more

A new bubble tea place Ive been coming to instead of gongcha. I like the variety of fruit teas there are on the menu. I got the lychee with pulp and bubbles. I dont think i shouldve got the bubbles since there are lycher jelly inside the drunk already. There are in fact lychee inside the drink. I only really tasted it at the end. The inside is clean and there are seats & a decor wall you can take pictures at. There is a parking lot on the side of the store and there are 2 tables with seats and umbrellas right outside the store front if you want to enjoy your drink outside. read more

My husband and I loved it. I had the avocado smoothie, which is actually a common thing in Brazil but not here and it was delicious! Husband had the pearl milk tea and it was also great. Place is really nice and they did a good job with the branding, too. We met a guy who's probably the owner or manager and he told us a little about Mr. Wish's story and the different drinks they serve. Will definitely go back. read more
