My wish is granted at this Mr Wish. The drinks are always perfect here, they come out pretty quick and always match my request of less sugar and less ice. This Mr. Wish is a little off the beaten path. There are plenty of options for lunch/dinner nearby but it may be a little out of range to walk to after dinner. Mr. Wish is open for takeout during normal hours and has become one of my staples for bubble tea/fruity drinks! The staff there are all wearing masks (didn't see any gloves though) and drink orders are made pretty quickly so you are in and out in a jiffy. You basically choose the flavor, the size (medium or large), sugar/ice level and additional toppings are extra charge which is similar to other bubble tea spots. I've tried their pearl milk tea as well as their fruit teas and everything tastes fresh. They normally have a bright and spacious lounge seating area which has been closed off for COVID and turned more into a waiting room for pickup orders. Parking is a bit limited, but did not have trouble finding a spot. This is one of my go to spots in the area and would definitely come back whenever I need my BBT fix. read more

They also have board games like Guess Who, Jenga, Uno, etc. I ordered a large colorful fruit tea with less sugar. My friends also ordered the egg custard filled waffle cakes. They were so cute in different shapes. They come out hot and fluffy with cream inside. They were delicious. The fruit was very colorful and there was so much fruit: oranges, kiwi, pineapple, passion fruit, apples, etc. It was so fresh and delicious. You definitely get a lot of bang for your buck. This review is for their new handmade boba oolong milk tea drink! They only serve Fri-Sun. I can't believe that we have fresh handmade boba in Edison now! The boba is very soft, and a little chewy. Because it's fresh, it's not as chewy as regular boba. The sweetness level is perfect, as they don't add additional sugar, just the brown sugar from cooking the boba. They give a lot of boba (I finished my drink and there was still a lot left). I think if possible, I would get less ice next time since there was a lot of ice left too. read more

Known for their fruit teas! Would recommend at least 30% or even 60% sugar especially for the more sour fruits. Their teas are all brewed. I am personally a fan of their regular black tea. It is quite a distinct and unique flavor, unlike any of the other spots around. The oolong is also a strong flavor. Matcha tastes authentic. The toppings definitely add sweetness to the drinks. Their pearls are quite soft and sticky, not suitable to everyone's taste. They also offer coconut jelly which is definitely worth a try there and recommended to me by the barista when they were out of pearls. Their wish waffle cakes are also really good if you want something to eat. They do take a while to make so order it first. Place is quite large. There is plenty of indoor seating and board games you can play. I enjoyed studying here. Parking is pretty small and tight though. I came here a few times with my daughters and I have finally decided to write a review for this bubble tea shop. Customer Service: The staff here is friendly and knowledgeable with the products. Mango Tea w/ Fresh Pulp: It does not have any Mango taste at all until you reach the bottom of the cup where the pulp is. It felt like I was drinking flavored water and the drink was not sweet enough. Peach Tea w/ Fresh Pulp: The Peach flavor was all the way on the bottom where the pulp was as well. Towards the top of the cup, the drink had a weird taste. Kumquat Lemon: This drink lacks the kumquat lemon flavor. It has a bad after taste as if I was drinking bad water. Plain Wish Waffle Cake: The cake was all dough and my daughter bit into an egg shell, thank god she did not choke on it. They should be more careful when cracking the eggs to make the waffle cakes. Egg Custard Wish Waffle Cake: It has a creamy taste in the middle of the cake but was mostly dough and not enough filling. Red Bean Wish Waffle Cake: This was the best Wish Waffle Cake but they do not have a lot of red bean filling inside; instead they have a lot of dough and very little red bean. If it had more red bean then it would taste much better and customers would be more satisfied. Apple Tea w/ Fresh Pulp: This drink has a weird taste to it and the sago balls taste different as well. It does not have an apple flavor taste to it but a taste that I can not describe. Overall: The staff are very friendly but the drinks need a little more work with the flavoring along with the sweetness. I ordered 0% sugar, but whatever syrup they soak the tapioca in was sweet enough to make my entire drink sweet. Pretty much defeats the purpose of having a 0% sugar option. The texture of the tapioca was also too soft for my liking. Now onto the mango crepe cake. I love crepe cakes, so I figured I'd give it a try. Learn from my mistakes and skip the crepe cake. Not only did it not taste fresh, but the slice was so small that we finished it in 5 bites. The only item I would actually recommend is the waffle cake, which comes in a box of 5. A new personal favorite! ENVIRONMENT: Came here to study with a friend, and this environment was an amazing place to! Mr. Wish has a great aesthetic going on; the music is also not too loud/overpowering, which created the perfect study space for me. The TV also plays cute and funny animal/pet videos. They also offer different board and card games, which they leave out on the tables. Whether it's studying, hanging with a friend, or just needing to sit somewhere to be mindless, Mr. Wish is a great place to do so BUBBLE TEA: I had ordered Black Milk Tea with bubbles, pudding and 30% sugar, and it was SPOT ON! The sugar levels were exactly how I wanted them to be, and Mr. Wish is VERY generous with their bubbles (as compared to other Boba stores I have been to). I always get a regular milk tea when trying out a new boba place because I believe if a place could make a great regular bubble tea, then they could make everything else well. Mr Wish is actually a chain. My first encounter with then was in New Hope, PA. I wanted to try this place as it was recommended to me by both Terri and Pamela. These two Rockstars were correct with their assessment. The Kid and I ordered wow, pearl milk tea and kumquat and lemon fiber jelly tea. The Pearl milk tea has a very nice strong tea taste with incredibly soft pearls. At 30% sugar, it was well balanced and not overly sweet. While the name really does include the "wow," it wasn't mind blowing. It's an above standard milk tea. Now let's go to the kumquat and lemon fiber jelly tea! Try and say that three times fast. That was mind blowing. It was very refreshing and a great lemony taste. They include chia seeds for fiber encased in jelly form. As most who know me, I'm a coffee lover so for me to get this excited about tea, that's saying something. The place is incredibly clean and they offer snacks as well as beverages. They're WiFi was spotty but I didn't really come and stay too long. There are comfortable chairs and a sofa but for such a spacious area, they didn't utilize it to their advantage. I went on a weekday so parking was not too bad. Only one spot was left. However, I would have to see it on weekends because other businesses share that parking space. This is why I had to take away a star. My suggestion would be to park across at Burger King and walk across the street for a quick pick up. Would I visit again? I first tried Mr. Wish when I moved to Philly, so I was really happy to see that Edison opened a location. Despite there being about 6 other nearby places to get bubble tea, Mr. Wish is definitely worth the try. If you're looking for a refreshing fruity bubble tea, Mr. Wish is the spot for you. Similar to other places, you can adjust the sugar levels - 100, 60, 30, 0. However, there are certain ones you cannot adjust the sugar level. For example, the lychee tea with fresh pulp cannot be adjusted. The service is great every time I come here. They're quick to serve and they politely answer any questions I have (especially because I try to get something different every time). It's very spacious and clean inside. (The bathroom is clean as well!) There are comfortable couches and sofa chairs in addition to tables and chairs. They offer a good amount of games to play - chess, checkers, uno, connect 4. There are two large TVs, but no sound so it isn't disruptive. I usually see them showing funny videos of cats playing lol. The only thing I don't like about this location is lack of parking. I haven't had any trouble finding parking yet, but I can imagine it being a problem if it's busy in the daytime. Other than that, I highly recommend Mr. Wish! Drinks that I've tried and recommend: lychee tea with fresh pulp, mango smoothie (lower sugar), kumquat green tea (lower sugar), green tea cheese macchiato (only you like the salted cheese taste), and red bean matcha milk (a classic flavor combo). read more

This has been my second time visiting a mr wish, and it's better than I remember! I went to the one in PA, and maybe it was the ambiance but it didn't seem as good as today. I ordered a pearl milk tea, and asked for almond milk, which they didn't have but I was informed the milk was dairy free. The space is much bigger than you would expect from the outside--so I sat while drinking. They have WiFi so if you need to get some things done, that's a plus. The bubble tea itself was perfect. I asked for no extra sugar, and it was perfectly sweet with the amount of sweetener that the tapioca balls are steeped in. It's been two hours after finishing my Wow! Oolong Milk Tea, I feel fine. I can taste the tea and that is a big plus for me. - Red Bean & Pudding Milk Tea Hubby ordered this and it was yummy. Perfect with 30% sugar, the red bean and pudding wasn't too sweet. I don't like pudding in drinks because it usually taste artificial but this tasted very fresh, like they made it themselves. Every time I come across a new bubble tea place, I bring my family to try it out. This bubble tea place is spacious with couches, a large screen tv, and table games. The lounge area is nice, but even though there is plenty of floor space, seating is limited. This place is different from the others because they offer fruity teas. The rest of the menu is pretty standard. We ordered: -the colorful fruit tea- this wasn't very good. The drink tasted nothing more than juice with little pieces of fruit (mostly apple). -the mango smoothie - this has pieces of mango but these tasted like frozen mango pieces because they were hard and cold. -pearl milk tea- the tea is what stands out here. The tea is stronger than other places I've tried. However, they ran out of pearls and it would take 30 min for the next batch to be ready. How can a bubble tea place run out of bubbles? It was pretty empty when we were there so how could they not keep up with the demand? The milk tea is more flavorful than other places. You can actually taste the tea flavor. A new bubble tea place Ive been coming to instead of gongcha. I like the variety of fruit teas there are on the menu. I got the lychee with pulp and bubbles. I dont think i shouldve got the bubbles since there are lycher jelly inside the drunk already. There are in fact lychee inside the drink. I only really tasted it at the end. The inside is clean and there are seats & a decor wall you can take pictures at.
