The bubble teas here are amazing. Very creative. Every time we come here, there are some new flavors. It's so hard to pick just one. We got something with mulberry this time. It had water chestnut as the bubble, which was weird but addicting. Service is great. The guy at the front not only talks and acknowledges you as soon as you come in, he also helps out with information on the drinks. Ambiance is cute. There are two areas to sit inside and some tables outside.

Came here for the Yelp Elite event to try this new boba shop. The location is extremely nice and is in the heart of the town. There is so limited seating inside, but plenty of seats outside. I opted for a mango refresher and it was so satisfying! The popping mangos provided a nice touch, especially on a hot day. The staff were friendly and happy to answer any questions we had. I would recommend a visit at Tea's Up!

Division Street is such a great spot for local food and a new bubble tea place is just what we needed. I was so excited to see that this place opened up. I decided to get the strawberry green tea lemonade since it was a super hot day. When I walked inside they had a few chairs indoors but mostly tables and chairs outside which is nice to have especially on Division Street. After I placed my order I was surprised to see that they made the order completely fresh right in front of me! I feel like many places have pre-made mixes but I love the fact that it was all completely fresh and my drink even had chopped up strawberry and sliced lemon inside. I also think it was fairly priced for the large size and freshly made drink. Will definitely come back and try other drinks here especially on these hot summer days.

Quaint vibrant colors inside bubble tea shop. Different experience than other bubble tea shops since teas and main ingredients fresh fruit. Service top notch. They have loyalty program so make sure you sign up. Located in downtown Somerville.

The day of their grand opening!

I went on grand opening day last weekend where everything was 50% off! I took advantage of the deal and got 3 drinks LOL - Mango Pomelo Craziness is exactly what you'd expect: Lots of sweet mango, the perfect amount of tartness from the pomelo to balance the sweetness from the mango, creaminess from the coconut milk, and delicious green tea. The fruits are all freshly squeezed and sliced! I told the owner I couldn't choose between fruity and milky so he suggested this and it was THE MOVE. - Taro milk tea: DISCLAIMER!!!! THEY USE REAL TARO - NOT POWDER. As a result, their taro milk tea is not the typical purple sweet flavor you may have tasted elsewhere. I personally like the real taro taste, but the taste and texture may be off-putting for those who expect the "fake" taro flavor. If you want the typical taro flavored bubble tea that most places serve, Kafe de Manila serves it down the street. - Lychee Watermelon Refresher: Too much watermelon, not enough lychee in my opinion, but I personally like lychee a lot more than I like watermelon. It was nice and fresh tasting though. The owner was SO nice, friendly, and helpful. There are a few indoor chairs (no tables) and 2 4-chair tables outdoors. The outfit chairs are really comfy! A great new addition to town :)

Came here for a Yelp event and was not disappointed! The tea is perfect for the summer. There's real mango in the drink and popping bubbles. Overall super light and refreshing. I can't wait to come back and try the other drinks :-)

We came here for the Yelp event. I ordered the Four Seasons Fruit - Grape drink with jelly. Extremely friendly staff and we got to meet "Sultan" (sp) who was very kind. The drink was delicious and I'm looking forward to trying additional teas in the future.

Super cute bubble tea store in the middle of Division Street. We were told the mango pomelo craziness is a best seller and coconut milk based so we ordered one. It was super tasty! Nice balance of the sweet, sour, and bitterness of the pomelo. The service was quick and super friendly here. I can't wait to go back and try the lychee watermelon or guava drinks.

Got a large dirty strawberry tea. The service was good, not too slow. The store has some seating indoors and outdoors. I feel like I got my moneys worth. Will definitely be returning again.

Are there food items to go with the tea for sale and/or is there a common plaza area on Division Street with seating where one can buy the tea from TeaUp and a food item from another Division Street biz?

Yes there are food items and a beautiful area for seating on Division Plaza. You will be happy with their real fruit selection drinks!

Also love that it seemed like a small family owned operation I opted for the calamansi drink which was perfect for a 90 degree spring day and a pandan coconut pudding to bring home. I wish the pudding was a bit less sweet (I tend to dislike overly sweet things) but overall, this is the most extensive filipino dessert place I've found in the tri- state area and I will be back if I'm around somerville again

Everything here is lovingly crafted by Kathy, the owner, who makes items from scratch, including their ice cream. You can truly taste the difference: fresh ube, no artificial flavors. Just pure goodness. Kathy and her husband take great pride in their Filipino menu, offering a variety of delightful treats centered around the beloved purple yam. Now, you might be wondering, what exactly is ube, and why is it so popular? Contrary to popular belief, ube isn't a fruit. It's actually a purple sweet potato that's highly sought after in the Philippines. If you love taro, you'll love ube even more. It's a staple in many Filipino desserts and dishes, known for its rich flavor and vibrant color. If you're in search of delectable drinks and cookies, this is your spot. Their signature ube drinks range from floats and lattes to coffees, milk teas, and even ice cream. All with delicious bits of real ube in every sip. Not in the mood for ube? No problem. They offer a wide variety of options, including their Pinoy series, pandan drinks, Milo drinks, matcha, cold brews, and more. And I have to mention, they now serve Vietnamese coffee, Filipino-style. It's pure heaven in a 16 oz cup. The shop itself has great lighting, perfect for IG, Yelp photos, or even vlogging. Just note that seating is very limited.

Both the dim sum menu and a lunch menu with standard Chinese restaurant fare were available. My party got the general tso's chicken from the lunch menu, and it was exceptional. Good-quality white meat with just enough spice. Heads up, though, the lunch dishes don't come with rice, so order that separately. From the dim sum menu, we ordered braised tripe with ginger & scallion, fried shrimp rolls, shrimp dumplings, steamed chicken buns, and crab meat soup dumplings. The braised tripe was a standout. It was cooked in a light yet flavorful sauce of ginger and scallion with the tripe's own broth. The delicateness of the sauce worked perfectly with the tripe. The dumplings were all great, especially the soup dumplings. The steamed chicken bun was the only thing I'd skip. It was on the heavier side, and the filling was just okay. The bill came out to about what I expected for the amount of food we ordered--$65 before tip. The service was friendly, and taking our order and getting the food was quick. After the food arrived, though, it was a little difficult to flag down a server to order more and later to get the check. Still, it was understandable given how busy they were, constantly collecting orders and putting out food. Overall, Canton Palace is a great find for anyone looking for this style of Chinese food outside of the usual New York neighborhoods.

As someone who cooks I was extremely disappointed. I should have sent back but they didn't seem to have any interest in our experience & there was a language barrier. Gets a star because hot and sour soup was fine and was heated appropriately and the sesame chicken with broccoli was good. Also can't give zero stars here...... wish I could. They charge $4 for rice and then grudgingly package it with leftovers. Entire restaurant had open tables but they stuck us against the servers alley that leads to kitchen. We had the staff behind us at a large table chattering away loudly while we tried to eat and talk. It was a mess. My husband paid the server in cash. They attempted to keep our change. I had to repeat myself multiple times asking for our change to come back. It almost seemed deliberate. So unprofessional. And yet my kind husband tipped the waitstaff generously; he's far kinder than I would have been. Not a class act restaurant. Will NEVER go back. REGRET that we chose this restaurant on our day out. =(
