    afternoon tea package for 4
    Peter K.

First visit to Price Tea House. We had afternoon tea for 4 package which came with finger sandwiches, scones (with jam, clotted cream), desserts and teas. Price wise not too bad. Quality was good, we all enjoyed it and was filling enough that we were not hungry for dinner afterwards. Good and wide selection of teas (one of us had a smoothie with 30% sugar) and drinks. We asked for a non nut allergic option for some of the package offerings and they were happy to adjust it. No worries there. Interior is conducive for tea, conversations and quality time with loved ones. All in all, good time was had by us without breaking the bank or having to go into the city for a fancy hotel experience. We made reservations, but didn't need to. That said, by the time we left around 5-6 place was full. In a mall with lots of parking, other Asian restaurants near by. This place is a chain with other stores in various areas. Clearly a model that works.

I've visited this location twice and both times went well! It's a quiet low key spot but the tea and dessert options are incredible! They also have some food options that look delicious but I haven't tried yet. It's in a strip mall so there's always lots of parking. The first time I went someone was celebrating a party in their party room and it looked like a fun time. This also seems like a good work from home/get school work done spot, Will definitely return!

I was really toasted after dining next door. Came here to sip on tea and sober up. the green tea cake was definitely real matcha..it was bitter but the cream was not too rich. we shared the lavender oolong tea. 2 dessert and pot of tea for $30. not bad. I'd come back to slow time to enjoy and relax.

All of the Prince Tea Houses are nice. Such a cute place to enjoy afternoon tea. I love the floral& fruity teas.

Disappointing. Not the greatest location and/or ambiance (fake flowers and wall paper). Plus the food was stale. Spring rolls smelt of over heated oil. Sliced Kraft cheese squares were substituted because we asked for no bacon on our finger sandwiches. Teas were the only good items on the menu (Afternoon tea for two). Scones were also okay. Place was empty in a Friday afternoon at 2:30 pm. Skip.

Do you want to feel CUTE, PRETTY, AND ELEGANT while enjoying an assortment of teas, coffee, desserts, and small bites? Prince Tea House has just the atmosphere for that. It's an Asian-inspired tea house with décor that transports you to the tea party of your dreams. Make sure your camera lens are clean because you will want to take photos. The décor is very cute and the desserts and drinks are even cuter. Their menu has so many options for just the tea itself - floral, fruity, sweet, earthy, etc. If you don't want brewed tea, they also offer boba, coffee, smoothies, slushes, and even mocktails. Their dessert options are mainly cake. Our server was very patient and helpful with giving us recommendations. I ordered... *Iced Peach Green Tea $6.50 - So refreshing! The tea had a perfect balance between the sweetness of the peach and the earthy, bitter notes of green tea. *Brown Sugar Bubble Mille Crepe Cake $9.75 - If you're someone who enjoys drinking brown sugar bubble tea, this cake is a must try! The crepe layers were buttery and creamy. The top layer of the cake was caramelized with brown sugar, adding the perfect crunch and burnt sugar taste. The tapioca pearls were a nice touch and were cooked just right. I would love to come back to try one of their afternoon tea sets! I saw a few customers get it and everything was presented on a beautiful ceramic set. Prices are a bit higher but you're really paying more for the ambiance. Pinkies up!

Cozy spot. Their crepe cakes are really good. Service is pretty prompt. We tried their purple yam, mango and brown sugar bubble tea.

Came here with friends and if it weren't for them expressing how much they enjoyed the tea, I wouldn't come back. They weren't wrong because the tea was good. The other reviews were right about the service being super slow and our server wasn't exactly the nicest either. The pastries were ok, but nothing to rave about. I was a bit thrown off from the dirty plates and silverware, which I asked to replace. I liked the spaced out seating so you don't feel like you're sitting too close to others, but that's about it. You're essentially just coming here for the experience of tea with friends, fam, or whomever.

Such a cute place for some afternoon tea! It's beautifully decorated inside and cozy to give you the perfect vibes while you enjoy your afternoon tea. I stopped by with a friend at opening on a Friday and it was quiet. We shared the afternoon tea for two. It was great that you could pick which sandwiches you want so we opted for the vegetarian samosa instead of the croissant with bacon. The samosa was delicious with a little spicy kick but unfortunately the finger sandwiches were sad. They were all underwhelming and open faced with little filling. Thankfully the sandwiches were the only let down. The scones were to die for! I also enjoyed all the desserts, my favorite was the matcha crepe cake. We also ordered takoyaki which was delicious and a great appetizer to add on. I had the English toffee tea which came already sweetened and with milk which was prefect and tasted like bubble tea! There was ample easy parking in a lot. Service wasn't the best this time but I would definitely return!

Always love Prince Tea House everywhere. It never fails to make me feel comfortable, relaxed & serene. I believe that's because of the calming decors. Had a nice fruity tea and desserts here never fails to make me happy. Such a nice and cozy place to hang out in Edison.

Came here for the afternoon tea tower. Was greeted immediately when walking in but after sitting down service was subpar. We had to flag down the servers to order. We did tea service for 3- two adults one toddler. When asking if we could have the juice presented in a teapot for my niece there was some push back but they agreed. We waited a little over 30 mins for the tea tower. The food on the tea tower is as follows - savory sandwiches not very tasty, scones amazing, desserts were okay, mini version of desserts they already serve.

I wasn't expecting this. Just wanted some tea, & ended up here. This is the real deal, I walked in and saw people sitting for tea. I felt like I was about to sit down with Royalty, lol. Medium bright venue, with fast & friendly staff. It's in a shopping complex, so plenty of parking. Nice & unexpected. We did the Afternoon Tea for Two w/Big Ben English Breakfast Tea & Prince Passion Fruit Tea. All very good. The Tower was almost perfect, except their "Deviled Eggs" by definition are not deviled eggs. It's just a halved egg with sesame seeds. Other than that....Perfection! Excellent Experience, I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful little Tea House with booths and tables and a small private seating area. Diverse selection of teas to suit your pallet. They offer a wide array of appetizers and meals from Kantsu Chicken sandwiches to shrimp Lollipops. The staff was very accommodating to us and provided help with selecting teas as well. If you're in the area and like tea stop in and enjoy yourself.

Love coming here and seeing people from toddler age to folks with their grandparents. Bubble tea is for all! My husband loves to try the new fruity varieties that get added to the menu. Every few weeks there is a new, unique fruit combination that blows him away. I stick to my tried and true Thai iced tea with boba, and NOWHERE else has been able to compete. The details are what makes this place stand out. If you buy multiple drinks, they place your order in an adorable, reusable purple bag. Also, there is a rewards program. So if you're an avid boba drinker, make sure you sign up. Every few orders you can score a free bite to eat or bubble tea. Since it's a hit spot, this place can get packed at peak times (post work hours, and especially on weekends). So happy to have such a lovely shop in my town. Thanks, Akihi!

The inside was very different from your usual bubble tea spot, and it was very welcoming and cozy. I could definitely see myself just chilling and reading a book while enjoying my food and drink. I placed my order through the kiosk while looking over the menu, which had a lot of good options. I couldn't make up my mind and decided to go with the bubble tea and Oreo waffle crepe. Both items were good, and I enjoyed the waffle, which had ice cream as the filling and was stuffed with fillings, but it was a little difficult to eat since the wrapper is not very practical, and I had to use my hands, so it got a bit messy. Did I regret it? No way, I loved it; hopefully, they would just have a better container for it, lol. Definitely will get a sugar rush, so be careful hahaha. I would definitely go back to try the other flavors

The stars if today were the appetizer dishes. The rice noodles with the special peanut sauce was 100% the best and exactly what you'd expect when you order that dish. The squid and popcorn chicken were both amazing and fried lightly but with a great crispy texture. The small pineapple bun with butter was delicious. We actually had it as a starter and again for dessert. While we loved the apps, the baked rice with pork chop and pepper steak rice bowls were just ok. They weren't amazingly flavorful, but they were still tasty with heavy portions so the value was there. We had HK style milk tea and topped off our meal with their special creamy french toast. Overall we left overly full and didn't have to pay too much. Wow Cafe is very affordable and the staff is very friendly and fast to cater to your needs. This dessert shop offers authentic Taiwanese treats featuring grass jelly, tofu pudding, taro mochi balls, red bean soup, and the aforementioned shaved ice, along with egg waffles, various teas and other beverages. The limited edition summer osmanthus series caught my eye, so I went for an osmanthus milk shaved ice, infused with condensed sweetened milk and osmanthus syrup, a cloud of almond tofu pudding on top, with mochi balls, red beans, and lychee jelly tucked around the base. The flavor of the cool fluffy shaved ice is subtly sweet, lightly creamy, with just a hint of floral, and the snow melts on your tongue. The osmanthus flavor is not very strong or fragrant, however, though I've never had successful encounters with commercial osmanthus-flavored things outside of Asia, as it's a very distinctive and delicate taste that's also one of my favorite scents and culinary condiments, so I'm very particular about its faithfulness. We ordered a large since it's only $1 more than the medium, so practically begs one to order the oversized version, which is enough for 2+ people to share. But why so enormous? How about offering a personal sized one for a little less? Premium as the ingredients are, $18 feels like a lot for shaved ice. Between us two adults and one small child we couldn't finish it, but I double dog dare you to try. It was good though, and satiated my craving for a proper milk snow dessert.

We ordered their slippery egg chicken rice combo with Hong Kong style milk tea with aged tangerines, a slippery egg rice with pork chop, and also baked pork chop rice with curry sauce and cheese. The slippery egg rice was on point. The eggs were silky, moist and velvety , almost custard like in texture. It was also rich and savory. I like how the chicken was lightly fried without having too much breading. They used chicken thighs so it was moist, tender and well seasoned. The fried pork chop, which was similar to pork katsu, was perfectly fried with a crispy, well seasoned crust which adhered well to the meat. The meat was juicy and succulent. The curry had a mild kick which I liked and there were also little pieces of carrots and potatoes in it. The only thing was I felt there was a little too much sauce as I felt the rice was drenched in it, which made it a little too rich for my liking. The lemon tea with aged tangerines was my favorite. The lemon tea tasted authentic. One of the best I've had including the ones I've tried in the Hong Kong style cafes in nyc. The tea flavor is intense which I can tell it's not just from a tea bag. The tea was balanced well with aged tangerines which added more citrusy and a subtle earthy flavor. The drink is bold yet refreshing. I was told they have a slushy version so I would go back to try it next time. It is self serve as I mentioned before as you will have to go get your own cutlery, plates and napkins at the table by the register. The food came out shortly after I placed my order and the staff were all very friendly. This is a good options for a quick lunch/dinner and price is very reasonable as you can get a dish plus a drink for $20 and under and you don't have to tip. I would return again for sure.
