My family and I came here because we were a bit thirsty while waiting to be seated at a nearby restaurant. Ambiance: The inside had some decorations that looked picture worthy. The tables and the floors were clean with no garbage or debris in sight. There was no music playing in this tea shop and it is quiet. Staff: The staff here seemed friendly and are patient when taking your order. Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken: This lacks a bit of flavor as they could do a little better with this. It is not crunchy on the outside and the inside is cooked to perfection and is chewy. However, you can still taste the oil that they fried the popcorn chicken in. Colorful Fruit Green Tea: It has some green tea taste, but you can barely taste it. Peach Green Tea w/ Crystal Pearls: It has a hint of green tea as well and you can taste the peach flavor. The crystal pearls taste hard and is meh. Maybe I should have ordered the regular tapioca instead. Overall: This bubble tea shop is like any other tea shops in the area. The only bad thing about this tea shop is that they do not serve hot drinks during Spring, Summer, Fall. I have never heard of any tea shops that only serve hot drinks during Winter only. This place is tucked in a courtyard within the Kohl's plaza. I wasn't sure we were going the right way at first but we made it there. Plenty of parking because it's in the shopping plaza. What we ordered: - Ube & Taro Milk Brulee - Colorful Fruits Green Tea - Jo N Black Tea Everything was ok. Lots of choices. I came on a Sunday night around 8 and it was pretty packed and it took quite awhile to get our drinks and there wasn't enough seating. We enjoyed our drinks overall but nothing was a standout. Jo N Tea is an excellent new boba spot in the South Plainfield area! I was happy to try the Cocoa Bubble Milk Tea, which tastes just as you'd expect, with nice textured pearls. I appreciate their customization options in terms of toppings, milk, and sugar levels. The interior is so colorful and spacious! I appreciated how my boba was ready as soon as I walked in. The employee working was very nice, and even put my drink in a bag when he noticed I was carrying a lot. He was also very nice when answering questions about the business. Service and Staff were super friendly. It's a Taiwanese spot that offers a mixture of Asian food and drinks. Ordered the takoyaki and bubble tea. Must say the bubble tea is different than Tiger and Gong Cha. Didn't want to travel all the way to HMart area for boba. We definitely liked the Boba. Boba wasn't super chewy -- it was just right. This I would say made my list of places to order bubble tea. And I'm picky about boba. I usually either go to Tiger or Gong Cha .. no other place. So I'm glad I found a closer area that can check all my preferences. We ordered the Taro and Lychee. Place is spacious and cozy. Good place to study b/c it's tucked away in an area that's between a pizza spot and an empty store. So you have to walk in the inner courtyard. Will definitely have to come back. I love that there's a boba shop in this strip. It's super convenient. It's hidden in a corner along with Leo's BBQ. They have a wide variety of drinks here and also food and snacks. The boba is always made just right and I think that the most important ingredient to these drinks. The inside is super spacious and very clean. Went on a weekday and the place wasn't busy. The store is very cute and bright. Staff was very helpful and nice. We ordered 3 things: 1) Very matcha slush with nata(30% sugar)-I was not a fan. Didn't have that strong matcha taste I was looking for. 2) Korean hotdog(half hotdog/half mozzarella)- I was very excited to try this since korean hotdog is one of my faves. I was very disappointed! I felt like the batter wasn't fresh. It was stale. 3) Very mango grapefruit(30% sugar)- This was good and very refreshing IMO. The 30% sugar was the perfect sweetness. Wasn't a fan of the grapefruit inside, seemed like it was frozen and had no taste. Might try other drinks on their menu next time. But I probably won't order any snacks because they might be stale again. I'll definitely get the very mango grapefruit again in the future, but without the grapefruit lol. read more

Came here three times with friends this past week. Boba: The brewed teas are legit- I ordered the King of Oolong, Rose Oolong and Jasmine. I can taste the tea leaves! Friend's Peach and Mango drinks were refreshing with a good balance of flavor and sweetness. Food: More often than not, the food in boba stores are subpar; an afterthought. Not here! All of us got Fries and Popcorn chicken, which are prepared when you order it. Even when it takes a while, they are still speedy and it's a peace of mind knowing the food is freshly made. While the chicken doesnt hit in terms of "being authentic Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken", it is still addicting and delicious. They do not skimp by including bones, skin or fat(something I experience restaurants do...), each bite is juicy meat! Friends who got corn dogs and takoyaki balls were satisfied. Service: The staff cares about you and it shows. When my friend ordered a (1) boba tea, someone came out to her to make sure she knew of their free drink promotion. When I ordered my boba with 30% sugar, they wanted to confirm exactly how sweet I wanted my drink. It makes us want to come back when they pay attention to detail. Excited about this boba place! Staff is friendly and inside is very cute and clean. Ordered two popcorn chicken bento boxes and coconut shrimp. Food was very delicious and fresh. Also ordered king of milk oolong tea boba drink. When I'm around the area, I make sure to drop in and pick up some food from Leo's bbq. It was a hot and humid day and as I was walking out I noticed a new store right next door that offered bubble tea, snacks, and desserts. I couldn't resist! I dropped in and checked out the menu, to my surprise it was a large offering and everything looked and sounded delicious. Of course, to help me make a decision I tried to look them up on Yelp but found out they're a brand new shop that had a soft opening on July 18th. More of an incentive for me to support! I walked in, it was very bright and vibrant with some aesthetically pleasing decor. The place was spacious and offered some seating. I noticed there was a digital screen where you can place an order, which I did, while they assisted a previous customer. It was simple and easy to use, however, at this time not a lot of description or pics to the drinks they offer in the screen. I ordered a coconut lychee slush. They offered slush drinks, milk tea, waffles, hot food, and others I can't remember. As I waited for my order, which wasn't long, I noticed they did have a menu on the counter which details most of their products so if you're looking for that check out the menu for descriptions. I got my drink and wow! Sooo good! The slush was perfectly slushed and the coconut brought me into an island beach after the first sip . Will surely go back and try out their other drinks and snacks!
