It's a short walk away, and they are now in Epic Cookies' old location. This new space is bigger and more front and center. A lot of people did not realize that their old location was even there on Division Street, until I took them there. They just opened this location about three days ago, so it was pretty busy when I visited today, and even Karin and her husband were in there helping out! Both very kind people! I came in for my favorite "Death by Chocolate" cupcake and was excited to try two new flavors, Coconut Guava and Lemon Raspberry. I usually check their website ahead of time to see what seasonal cupcakes they have before visiting, I saw those and rush over here. P.s. please bring back the Versailles Cupcake from Summer '25! That raspberry filling is heaven sent, and part of the reason why I came by to try the Lemon raspberry flavor! Even with the rush, the staff was just as friendly as always. I really love it here and always bring my family and friends when they are in town! I'll definitely miss the charm of the old location, but I'm excited for them in this new space and hope that it works out well for them!

Was invited to a girls' night out at Candyland Craft to decorate cupcakes, sip on wine, munch on…read moresnacks, and enjoy some good laughs! Walked into the store and it looked like a crafter bakers' dream! While walking towards the back for the class, I peeped so many unique baking supplies! This review is only based on the cupcake decorating class. Once we arrived, the supplies for the class were already provided at the seat. Six plain cupcakes was in a container, along with disposable icing bags, tips, food coloring, and bowl(s) of white buttercream icings. The instructor was nice and showed the class how to decorate the cupcakes into three different styled flowers; which was lots of fun! While decorating the cupcakes, we sipped wine, ate snacks, and enjoyed each other's company. Which we brought our own wine and snacks. One of the ladies from our group was able to connect to Candyland Crafts' Bluetooth to play music! It was an enjoyable time! =)

They did have those floor fans going on which I assume was to try the wet footprints from the melting snow outside, so I think that made the restaurant louder the it is. The ube shake was delicious! It was a little hard to drink at first because it was made pretty icy. I'd prefer mine to be a little smoother, but not a huge thing since it'll just melt. My 5 year old LOVED the "ice cream". He drank a good amount which was shocking. I had the ube crinkle when I got home and it was SO good. It was the perfect softness and it wasn't overly powered on top. I ended up eating a second one, which I normally would never do but I couldn't help myself! It wasn't overly sweet or coated with powder and the softness just made it that much better. Would I come back? I would if I happen to be in the area, I will definitely stop by to try the rest of their cakes/drinks!

I also ordered a side of fries with garlic aioli. The plant based white bun was a little dry and the burger patty was also dry and did not have much flavor. Maybe I should have done a double patty for the burger, since it is a smashed patty and a little too thin for my liking. I felt like I was eating a dry burger bun with mostly lettuce, an occasional pickle and the Mack sauce. I probably will not order the garlic aioli again, it had a sweeter and nutty flavor to it, and I prefer more of a savory aioli. I used to order their Blackened salmon with a side of greens and Spanish rice in their BBQ Ranch flavor style, from their old menu. I do miss that meal, it was so flavorful with the crispy onions to top everything off. But I understand that they made the change to better suit the business and cut back on waste. I probably would not order the big Mack burger again. But I will definitely be back to try something else from the new menu. I've been a customer for over 6 years, and have introduced some of my family members and friends to this restaurant, and we've enjoyed our meals here for that time. I love that there are many vegan and vegetarian options here. Although I am neither, it's a great place for those who have dietary restrictions/preferences. Sure I could have had another roll but then I would have been "uncomfortable" and sleepy. All in all really happy with our choice to stop and the 2-3 roll special can be a better financial option while still leaving full.

Unfortunately, Saturday's visit was completely different. The cinnamon bun was misshapen, dry, and lacked the flavor I enjoyed the day before. Even the display items looked unappealing, and the service was subpar. The inconsistency was disappointing, especially after such a great experience on Friday. Because of the poor service and inconsistent quality, I have to give a hard 2 stars. The employees would benefit from better training, and the product quality needs to be more consistent. I hope the owner or manager sees this review and takes it as constructive feedback from a loyal customer who genuinely wants the business to do well. I will return again, hoping to experience the same quality and service I received on Friday.
