Epic Cookies is a go-to spot for warm, delicious cookies! I've tried a few flavors--the oatmeal raisin, chocolate chunk, and M&M--and while oatmeal raisin is usually my favorite, their chocolate chunk cookie is an absolute must-have every time I visit. The cookies are served warm, which makes them even better, and they also offer a late-night special on their classic cookies that's perfect for a sweet evening treat. The bakery itself has a bright and airy atmosphere. The staff, however, is okay. On my most recent visit, I was checking out 2 minutes before the late night special started, and though I asked if they still honored the special, the staff member didn't suggest waiting the extra two minutes to get the discount. It wasn't a big deal, I paid for my order and left, but it would've been a nice gesture.I understand it's also not in her best interest to help her place of work lose money on discounted sales. So I didn't take it to heart! The cookies keep me coming back. If you're a sweets lover, Epic Cookies is definitely worth a visit, as they also serve brownies, donuts, and cakes!

Small little shop. Cookies and everything look amazing. There fruity pebble cookie was good. Nice and warm when I got it. It was my second time there and I was not disappointed either time.

They have a nice selection of regular and specialty cookies. We tried four flavors. My favorite was Death by Chocolate. All of them were very fresh even the next day. They are big enough to cut in half and share. Inside the place is small and bright. The woman behind the counter was very helpful. They even come in a nice long box.

Again! This delicious establishment has wowed me! My wife get the chocolate chunk cookie, its good but there are other magical flavors to part take. I got the brownie with peanut butter cup. It was phenomenal. The brownie was moist and chocolately! The peanut butter was smooth and silky! Friendly staff and cozy inside. I like the unique flavors this place has to offer. I can't wait to return soon!

Cute place. Friendly, helpful service. So many gourmet cookies to choose from. Not labeled but there's a huge sign above of selections which I totally missed because I was mesmerized by the cookies. We opted to share the Blueberry Cheesecake Cookie and it did not disappoint. The cookie itself is pretty plain but the topping was fantastic! Together, they are the a great marriage. $5+ a cookie but it was a birthday treat so it was worth getting baked.

The lemon ricotta cookie is in the lower left next to the salted Hawaiian Macadamia nuts; which were `ono.

My sister-in-law thought it would be cool idea to get some of the lemon ricotta cookies individually wrapped to include as favors for my mother-in-Lawʻs 90th birthday. She ordered them and we picked them up. We called before we went and like the ebb of electricity as it pulses through the wires, our conversation with the worker was one of silence, then speech, then silence, then speech. Odd. The energy was a bit unnerving. When we arrived at the store there was not a soul in the front. After making "people" noises to try and get some help, a disinterested young lady made her presence known. Not the friendliest of souls, she reminded me of a gothic being of times gone by. Luckily, the order was ready so we didnʻt have to take more of her time as I am sure she wanted to get back to her seance in the back room. I bought a few extra cookies because I had never tasted them before. I am not Italian so I did not grow up eating these cookies. Therefore, my review of them might not be fair. My husband said they were so-so. What I found was a texture similar to a Chinese tea cookie; soft and unflavored. There was just a hint of lemon but otherwise it was as drab as a Ouija board and just as tasteless as what one would expect if you had actually eaten the board. A positive was that the cookies were sealed in a plastic envelope and fit perfectly into the dipping bowls each guest received. I surmise that had the interaction with the staff been more positive and flowed like great customer service should, the review might have been different. but like the cookie, it left me longing for something other than drab, tasteless, limp, gothic black.

Giant cookies and crazy, kooky flavors? Yes, 1000x yes! These cookies made a wonderful event nearby even more spectacular. They were delicious, colorful and beautiful and fresh baked. I got 30 cookies of all different varieties and asked for lots and lots of the weekly special ones. Folks couldn't stop taking pictures, that is how dang gorgeous they were. My favorite was the peanut butter because who doesn't love a peanut butter cookie? I also tried the fruity pebbles because the colors made me think this was going to be DELICIOUS buttttt I did think it was a little dry. All and all, this is a great spot with a very helpful team. You can order online but don't hesitate to call. They are more than willing to help ya out. Thanks for your help and your wonderful (and gigantic) cookies!

Dirt Cake, PB & J, Chocolate Chip & Animal Cracker

This order was made through a 3rd party app and picked up. Everything was ready upon arrival. They had weekly specials and other traditional cookie choices to choose from. I was able to try 4. Each cookie was $3. They were a little bigger than an average cookie. Peanut Butter & Jelly - This was definitely my favorite. The peanut butter cookie was topped with jelly and even more peanut butter icing. There were also little pieces of cookie on top. It was the best by far. Animal Cracker - This was a little disappointing. There appeared to be pieces of the animal cracker as a filling along with pink icing on top. It was plain regardless. Dirt Cake - This was a chocolate cookie with chocolate frosting and gummy worms on top. It was solid, no complaints. Chocolate Chip - This was okay. There seemed to be something missing from this traditional type of cookie. Will I go back? Possibly.

This place is a winner every time. I am a chocolate chip cookie lover and by far they have the best. The ambience when you first walk in is fun and vibrant. The walls look like a coloring book. The cookie and cupcakes display alone will reel you in. The employees customer service was top notch! I will be going here as long as they will be around and I hope it's for many years to come!!

Besides the fact that the cookies are a tad pricy. Theyre good cookies but after a day or so they're not as good sadly. The ladies in there were really nice. They were patient and even made suggestions on what they thought I should try. Kaitlyn was very professional.

After a Friday night out having some drinks, my girlfriend and I stopped here to get some cookies to go. We ordered a 4 pack of different types. I like how they have weekly specials of different types of cookies that rotate in and out. The cookies we chose to try out were Epic Chocolate Chunk, Pink Velvet, Lava Love, & a Donut version of Chocolate Chunk. All of these choices were amazing. Everything tasted very fresh, and the flavors were awesome. My favorite was the lava love, as it contained a warm chocolate filling. Prices are reasonable, too. We loved all of our cookie choices. This was a nice spot. If you want some delicious cookies, definitely give this place a chance.

    Epic Chocolate Chip Sugar Cookie

I was craving for some good cookies but these were not good... these were THE BEST COOKIES I'VE EVER HAD (you heard me right Levain) They were crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. And $3 for these humongous sized cookies is a steal!! I got the chocolate chip and sugar ones (it was my first time so kept it simple). The chocolate chip had just the right amount of gooey chocolate in it and I have never been impressed with any sugar cookie until today. It was just perfect - I have nothing else to say I got it to go and when I came it was ready to be picked up. However, I had to wait for the employee to hand it to me since she was helping the people in front. I think it would be quicker if they had a mobile order pickup station. In terms of ambiance, it's a cute little shop and I would definitely sit and eat here next time. It's located in downtown Somerville so you can just come here to treat yourself after a nice walk. Pro tips/notes: - have them warmed - extra delicious - sign up for their loyalty program online - they have gelato, ice cream, and cupcakes As you all can tell, I will definitely be coming back here to try everything from their menu

Stopped here while I was in the area because I wanted something sweet. The cookies are priced at $3.50 each. The cookies are pretty big. I got the bananilla. I really enjoyed my cookie, it was very tasty. They had a variety of flavors which includes weekly specialty cookies. Overall I had a good experience and would return.

It's a short walk away, and they are now in Epic Cookies' old location. This new space is bigger and more front and center. A lot of people did not realize that their old location was even there on Division Street, until I took them there. They just opened this location about three days ago, so it was pretty busy when I visited today, and even Karin and her husband were in there helping out! Both very kind people! I came in for my favorite "Death by Chocolate" cupcake and was excited to try two new flavors, Coconut Guava and Lemon Raspberry. I usually check their website ahead of time to see what seasonal cupcakes they have before visiting, I saw those and rush over here. P.s. please bring back the Versailles Cupcake from Summer '25! That raspberry filling is heaven sent, and part of the reason why I came by to try the Lemon raspberry flavor! Even with the rush, the staff was just as friendly as always. I really love it here and always bring my family and friends when they are in town! I'll definitely miss the charm of the old location, but I'm excited for them in this new space and hope that it works out well for them!

Pretty homey feel when you walk into the store. There was a cute selfie wall when you walk to the register. The menu is pretty extensive. I debated getting a drink but was so full from lunch that I got a box of the ube crinkle instead. My husband did order an ube shake for him and my son, so the three of us shared. First I noticed that people don't come here for one drink- people leave with 4-5! Everything looked so good coming out that I couldn't wait to try my husband's shake. Staff was friendly and place was clean! They did have those floor fans going on which I assume was to try the wet footprints from the melting snow outside, so I think that made the restaurant louder the it is. The ube shake was delicious! It was a little hard to drink at first because it was made pretty icy. I'd prefer mine to be a little smoother, but not a huge thing since it'll just melt. My 5 year old LOVED the "ice cream". He drank a good amount which was shocking. I had the ube crinkle when I got home and it was SO good. It was the perfect softness and it wasn't overly powered on top. I ended up eating a second one, which I normally would never do but I couldn't help myself! It wasn't overly sweet or coated with powder and the softness just made it that much better. Would I come back? I would if I happen to be in the area, I will definitely stop by to try the rest of their cakes/drinks!

Everything here is lovingly crafted by Kathy, the owner, who makes items from scratch, including their ice cream. You can truly taste the difference: fresh ube, no artificial flavors. Just pure goodness. Kathy and her husband take great pride in their Filipino menu, offering a variety of delightful treats centered around the beloved purple yam. Now, you might be wondering, what exactly is ube, and why is it so popular? Contrary to popular belief, ube isn't a fruit. It's actually a purple sweet potato that's highly sought after in the Philippines. If you love taro, you'll love ube even more. It's a staple in many Filipino desserts and dishes, known for its rich flavor and vibrant color. If you're in search of delectable drinks and cookies, this is your spot. Their signature ube drinks range from floats and lattes to coffees, milk teas, and even ice cream. All with delicious bits of real ube in every sip. Not in the mood for ube? No problem. They offer a wide variety of options, including their Pinoy series, pandan drinks, Milo drinks, matcha, cold brews, and more. And I have to mention, they now serve Vietnamese coffee, Filipino-style. It's pure heaven in a 16 oz cup. The shop itself has great lighting, perfect for IG, Yelp photos, or even vlogging. Just note that seating is very limited.
