They have a wonderful selection of sweets - especially the raspberry, apricot, and chocolate filled sandwich cookies. Also pastries and breads. All the traditional stuff and then some. The shoppe is well laid out- once you walk in, sweets to the right, savory to the left. Service is efficient and professional. Prices may be higher than some expect, but we've found it worth it for their selection of what we like. Have not yet tried their prepared foods. There is no seating, so this is a grab and go place. Traffic can be a bear depending what time of day you go there - but if they have what you want, it's totally worth it. We'll be back...(over and over again!)

The bakery associate told me they just ran out, but they are baking new ones now. If I wait 10-15 minutes, I will get a freshly baked one. I could not believe my lack. It's a short walk away, and they are now in Epic Cookies' old location. This new space is bigger and more front and center. A lot of people did not realize that their old location was even there on Division Street, until I took them there. They just opened this location about three days ago, so it was pretty busy when I visited today, and even Karin and her husband were in there helping out! Both very kind people! I came in for my favorite "Death by Chocolate" cupcake and was excited to try two new flavors, Coconut Guava and Lemon Raspberry. I usually check their website ahead of time to see what seasonal cupcakes they have before visiting, I saw those and rush over here. P.s. please bring back the Versailles Cupcake from Summer '25! That raspberry filling is heaven sent, and part of the reason why I came by to try the Lemon raspberry flavor! Even with the rush, the staff was just as friendly as always. I really love it here and always bring my family and friends when they are in town! I'll definitely miss the charm of the old location, but I'm excited for them in this new space and hope that it works out well for them!

Personal Rosemary Focaccia ($16) - This was very large. I had this with homemade pasta, and it did the job. It was very light and cooked appropriately. The rosemary was definitely tasted on the outer edges. Pistachio Chocolate Almond Croissant ($7.75) - This was solid. It was very flaky and buttery with plenty of the chocolate filling. The chocolate was smooth and not overly heavy. I was hoping for a little better balance with the pistachio but did not taste much even though it was clearly there. B&C Turkey Club ($19) - This sandwich had turkey, thick-cut bacon, mozzarella, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on their country bread. This was made to order. The sandwich was well constructed with great layers. There was just enough mayo where the sandwich was not overly wet or dry. Everything went together nicely, but the country bread was the key. Will I go back? No doubt.

The place isn't big but they do have a couple of tables. I've only tried their beef empanadas and chocolate croissant and they were both so delicious! The beef empanada is shredded beef and not ground beef which I really appreciated. They also give you a sauce for the empanada and that's also really good! They also have breakfast and lunch options which I'm sure I'll try another time. And everyone who works there are very friendly and helpful! I highly recommend this place.

I haven't tried too many cakes in the area so I can't truly compare to give it a full 5 star rating BUT the comments I hear a lot of is they use fresh fruit in their cakes. I usually get birthday cakes from Asian bakeries where fresh fruit is expected so that was an interesting comment to make from my POV. The fruit birthday cakes I've had from here are pretty good. Not too sweet and the most interesting fruit fillings I've had in cake - banana! Among other fruits. The cake isn't as light/airy as I'm used to but not bad at all. The buttercream is on the sweeter side for me but okay if you eat it with the cake and don't leave it until the end. It's not a terribly thick layer. But the cakes were super colorful and it's a lot of food coloring with how saturated the colors are. Your mouth and tongue will be stained if you're not careful. Having said that, I ordered an Oreo cake because that's why my kid wants. BUT I did request that instead of buttercream on the outside, it'll be whipped cream. Still buttercream on the inside though. I'll update this review after the party as it hasn't happened yet. This is a shop that sort of takes you back when you walk in. It's located in a corner shopping center of sorts and they have a shared parking lot so no need to hunt for parking. It has a nostalgic feel with display cases along much of the length, refrigerated sections for drinks (some were Asian which surprised me) and ice cream cake. Plus a wall of candles and birthday cake decorations because they do take a lot of orders for special occasions. No extra frills and nothing for decor's sake. There was a steady line when I went on Sunday morning. Two doors, one designed to be the entrance and the other the exit (but there isn't a police so use whichever door, but the line starts at the entrance door). As you walk up to the counter, someone will help you out. They've got all sorts of things from pastries to cookies, cakes, cupcakes, cannoli's, pies... even a tres leches section that was woefully empty. The only thing is for some odd reason, there are signs of what the items were, but absolutely no prices were posted in the display cases. At least none that I was aware of. I was passed onto the manager to take my order. It took a little time because I'm pretty sure she also decorates cakes and some people were waiting on them but I eventually got my order in. A 9" Oreo cake (for up to 16 people) with whipped cream exterior and birthday message is about $75. I added on a tres leches on a whim - they sold out early but a new batch just finished so I got one straight from the kitchen - was roughly $10. Receipts are old school, orders taken on a paper pad with a carbon copy given to you. I've had a number of tres leches cakes before and this is one of a kind! Deliciously moist, whipped topping - and the cake is halved. In between, they put fruit in there! Plus a maraschino cherry on top and cinnamon dusted over it. It was nowhere near "too sweet" and I rather enjoyed it. A lot. In fact, I'm thinking of calling in to see if I can get some for the party for the adults. My picky daughter loved it. Overall, I have a pretty good impression of this bakery and I'm looking to trying more items over time.

They cater for events and among other things they make colorful Corazonchas which are heart shaped concha's that could be a good substitute for standard cookies at a gathering.
