I waited in a very long line this past Saturday evening for a bubble waffle. Once I got to the front of the line, I was disappointed to find out they weren't making any bubble waffles that night. Since I waited all that time, I decided to try a dulce de leche soft serve ice cream in a waffle cone and a fruit tart. The dulce de leche ice cream was very good - creamy and not too sweet. Unfortunately, my waffle cone was extremely soft and could hardly keep my ice cream contained. It wasn't crunchy at all when I first got it and the bottom was leaking because the cone was too soft. There was such a long line that I didn't bother asking for a new cone, but I wish I did. As for my fruit tart, the fruit and pastry cream were delicious but I do wish the base of the tart was more of a flaky tart crust instead of a firm graham cracker-like crust but that's just a personal preference. I may have an unpopular opinion and I do think people will buy the specialties for the sake of the hype, but I think their specialty products ($6.50-9.50 for rolled ice cream and $8-14 for milkshakes) are wildly overpriced and overrated. I was watching their workers make the rolled ice cream and there's no way that you get your money's worth with that small amount of cream and toppings. You can get a larger quantity of good quality ice cream and toppings mixed in the same way for less money at a place like Cold Stone Creamery; the ice cream at Cold Stone just isn't rolled up. Overall, I think that Even More Epic has a lot of kinks to work out as a new business...but I'm sure the hype of their specialty products will help them thrive in downtown Somerville.

When you enter this place, there is certainly a wow factor. The amazing desserts and cakes in the case quickly caught our attention. I'm eager to come back here for one of those brownies. And I could see splurging for one of those cakes for a special occasion. However, our actual dessert experience was a bit a letdown. We splurged on one of their huge fancy milkshakes... a $14 milkshake!!! And it was rather disappointing. I'd say it was 10% cookies, 30% whipped cream, 10% ice cream, and 50% plain white milk. When we realized we were drinking straight milk, we threw it out with a significant amount left. Also, the wait time was extremely long for a dessert. Needs some improvement on the quality of milkshake and service time, but I'm willing to give it another shot for one of those brownies.

It was really fascinating how many flavor options they had available. The shop calls itself homemade so I assume it is, but it's impressive to offer so much. I ordered a Thai iced tea in a small size. It may have been their small but it was a large scoop in the cup. It was a welcomed surprise to end my night out, the ice cream end up being very good and tasted exactly how the namesaked drink tasted like. There was a bit of a wait to it even though there was maybe 3 people in front of me in line. I think it was a good 15 to 20 minutes of waiting before I was able to order. Almost seemed like they did one order at a time. I may have ordered ice cream in a cup but they were still doing milk shakes and other things for other people. I assume that's what took so long. They have wooden benches outside in the parking lot which is nice on a summer night to sit and enjoy a treat. Probably will come again when I stumble near it.

On a different visit that year, I ordered the Cranberry Ginger Spice and Key Lime. On my recent trip, it was Key Lime with Marshmallow. Meanwhile, I was convinced I was trying something unique and different. Although it was enjoyable, I tried a small sample of the Birthday Cake flavor on this visit and kind of wished I got that instead. Birthday Cake ice cream seems like a pretty safe bet, but I think it might be their best flavor! Look out, I'm switching it up next time!

It's a short walk away, and they are now in Epic Cookies' old location. This new space is bigger and more front and center. A lot of people did not realize that their old location was even there on Division Street, until I took them there. They just opened this location about three days ago, so it was pretty busy when I visited today, and even Karin and her husband were in there helping out! Both very kind people! I came in for my favorite "Death by Chocolate" cupcake and was excited to try two new flavors, Coconut Guava and Lemon Raspberry. I usually check their website ahead of time to see what seasonal cupcakes they have before visiting, I saw those and rush over here. P.s. please bring back the Versailles Cupcake from Summer '25! That raspberry filling is heaven sent, and part of the reason why I came by to try the Lemon raspberry flavor! Even with the rush, the staff was just as friendly as always. I really love it here and always bring my family and friends when they are in town! I'll definitely miss the charm of the old location, but I'm excited for them in this new space and hope that it works out well for them!

Once inside it was much larger than I thought it would be. Lots of space but at the time of my visit pretty limited seating. What we ordered: - Classic Milk Tea with boba - Taro Milk Tea with boba - Passion Fruit Tea with rainbow jelly All the drinks were fine, not my usual taste but I truly appreciate that they exist as there are not many boba shops in this particular area without going into Somerville or Bridgewater. The service was ok. They also offer some food but as I just dined elsewhere I did not try it. They also have ice cream, which I also didn't try but it was a nice addition and they can make ice cream float drinks. I think I would be back because it does have potential.

It's owned by a pretty cool family. I was there for their semi grand opening celebration All hands on deck. It was cute to see the little kids running the register while all the adults were making the drinks and food. They have some pretty tasty french fries, little fried Asian treats . They have a floatea which is a combination of ice cream and bubble tea. This is a meal all by itself, but pretty tasty if you've never had one . So if you are in the Martinsville, Warren or surrounding areas stop in and show some love.
