What a nice find! I'm having fun discovering coffee shops in this area since my kid goes to school nearby. I really enjoyed their tiramisu latte and hummus toast- service was great and the space was cozy.

This coffee shop is an absolute gem! Parking was easy, which already makes it a stress-free stop. The specialty drinks really stand out. Unique options like the Dubai Chocolate and the Banana Cold Brew are both rich, refreshing, and crafted with care. The atmosphere is just right for any mood whether you want to sit back and relax, dive into a good book, catch up on emails, or study for a while. It's cozy yet open, with seating that makes you want to linger.

Very chic and elegant coffee shop. If you're looking for a place with great coffee and great seating, this is a place to be! First thing I noticed when coming into the coffee shop was the amount of people that were sitting and working. It is definitely a hub for people to sit and relax or study while getting a drink. I tried their tiramisu latte, which I highly recommend. Creamy, sweet, and bold, the tiramisu latte is one of the best that I've had! They are also known for their Matcha, which I can't wait to come back and try. There was plenty of seating in the front of the café back of the café as well as outside. The staff was very sweet and very nice, helpful with different recommendations of what's currently popular on their menu.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Their coffees are perfect, they are the best! For real! Also the best place to share with your family and do your homework.

I came here initially for a Yelp event, but had to come back on my own time. The environment is just as cozy and comfy, and the service was fast and friendly. My friend got the Passionfruit refresher, and I got the Mango Matcha this time around. The Mango matcha sounded super unique so I had to try it! The flavors actually go so well with each other and it was not too sweet. My new go to study spot! :^)

Pleasant coffee shop with a nice variety of drinks hot and cold. I got an iced Matcha Latte and it was good with balanced taste. The staff is friendly and nice; The atmosphere in there is great, good to be there with a book or working on a project. Soft music on, a lot of plants around and a cool board on the wall where you could add "so.. what is your chapter 2?" Very motivational and inspiring place. I'll be there more often . 100!

So glad they finally opened! I've been to their coffee truck a few times at various events. They're always friendly and we always get a bag of beans to take home. The truck never had espresso based hot drinks, though. Their new space has an industrial vibe, with warm touches. I wish there was more natural light but their establishment extends back, so no windows back there. We ordered a seasonal danish, which was cream filled with sliced strawberries. It was just okay, nothing special. We also got a flat white with oat milk and a latte with oat milk, to stay. Though they had mugs and despite asking for it to stay, everything still came in one time use disposable cups and bags. Maybe they just didn't want to deal with washing up? Both the latte and the flat whites were much too foamy, and not that silky creamy mouth feel you'd want. They still tasted good though.

Saw this place on the way to an appointment in the same complex. So I stopped by after for a latte. I got a hot matcha latte. I am new to matcha so wasn't too sure what to expect. I really did enjoy it, creamy and light at the same time. The matcha was mixed well. I feel like I chugged it because I enjoyed it so much. They have a wide variety so I'll deff be back to try other coffees and their baked goods. Loved the atmosphere. I would definitely take my laptop here to do some work or meet a friend to chitchat. A lot of seating areas and plenty of space. Baristas were super friendly and patient as I took some time to pick what I wanted.

Pretty solid spot in Piscataway. They carry Balthazar pastries- sweet and savory. Service is friendly and efficient, the baristas were very helpful! Interior is modern, clean and pretty much quiet, just quiet murmurings and chatting when I went to pick up a cup. I tried the iced tiramisu latte and it was good. Coffee to milk/tiramisu flavor ratio was missing a bit of the espresso, I would've preferred a stronger espresso taste, but I would go back to try more of their drinks since they are fairly new to the area. Parking lot, credit cards, clean restroom. Would recommend!

Wow! Nothing bad to say about this place. I was around the area & wanted to see if they had the matcha cloud and they did. I was super excited to try this place & their drinks. The coconut matcha cloud was so perfect, the girl who made it was so excited to even make it. I told her it looked so perfect. The taste was so rich & I loved it! I also ordered a tiramisu latte, another drink that was so flavorful & perfect. They put so much effort to make these drinks & I love that. Drinks were 10/10. Ambiance was very quiet & the place was nice, you can sit there & do your work as well. Service was amazing they greeted me as soon as I walked in & they were patient to take my order. Recommend this place if you want to try something new! I would come back here for sure !!!

Stepped into Chapter 2 Coffee Roasters this past Saturday morning, and it was the ideal way to kick off the weekend! The space is clean, minimalist decor, seating in front and back of the coffee bar. The vibe was buzzing but still relaxed, with that wonderful aroma of freshly roasted beans filling the air. We started with a classic latte, and it was absolute perfection - creamy, well-balanced, and with a rich espresso flavor that wasn't overwhelmed by the milk. We also ordered their cold brew, and It was incredibly smooth, low in acidity, and had a delicious, refreshing taste that was perfect for sipping on a warm morning.Beyond the excellent coffee, the staff was friendly and efficient, making the whole experience even better. I'll definitely be back for more!

That's when I stumbled across Hidden Grounds Coffee House... and let's just say, this place is not so "hidden" once you find it. I ordered the smoked salmon and cream cheese toast, and every single component was fresh, high quality, and dialed in. I added avocado (highly recommend), and it just took everything to the next level. Simple, clean, and absolutely delicious. Then came the honeybee latte, hot and wow. Whatever they're doing behind the scenes with this coffee, it works. Perfectly balanced, smooth, and honestly one of those drinks you think about later in the day. This is a non-negotiable order. And because discipline is overrated on a work trip, I added an almond croissant. I should've gotten two. It's filled with something magical, I'm not even going to pretend I know what it is, but it's rich, flaky, and completely worth it. If you're anywhere near Hidden Grounds, do yourself a favor and check it out. This place knows exactly what it's doing.

If you know, you know. The pastries here are absolutely worth the detour--and honestly, wherever I see a Paris Baguette, I do pull over. That includes locations I've visited in Northern California, North Brunswick, New Jersey, Atlanta, Georgia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and even the one here in Charlotte down in Pineville. It's a bit of a drive for me, but when I'm in that area, I always make a point to stop in and pick up a couple of their delicious croissant-donut pastries and marzipan or almond croissants. That's the beauty of this bakery--it's a chain, yes, but the consistency is what keeps me coming back. I have yet to be disappointed. Of course, I had to stop at this Hilton Head location--and I didn't come empty-handed. Food connects people, and bringing pastries to your host is always a winning move. I picked up three different varieties of their famous croissant-donut style pastries (similar to the well-known cronut): * Chocolate * Tiramisu * Mango And I added two large almond croissants that were beautifully filled, flaky, and indulgent. Everything looked fresh, full, and irresistible. The setup inside is easy and efficient. It's self-serve: you grab a tray, line it with parchment, use the tongs, and select whatever catches your eye--from baguettes to cakes to coffee drinks. Checkout was quick, Apple Pay was accepted, and the whole experience felt smooth and well organized. The space was clean, friendly, and inviting, with plenty of outdoor seating. Bottom line: Whenever you see a Paris Baguette on your radar, pull over. It's dependable, delicious, and perfect for picking up pastries to share--or to treat yourself. For me, it's one of those rare places that delivers the same quality every single time, no matter the city--and that kind of consistency is something I truly appreciate as a traveler and lifelong foodie.

It was at night on a Saturday so many of the shelves were empty but they still had a few things left. Sunmerry appears to be a chain but one that I have never visited before until now so I can't really comment on what they have, but I did manage to grab: MATCHA CLOUD DONUT - This reminded me vaguely of the im donut donuts I tried in NYC. Very soft and pillowy and filled to the brim with a lightly sweet, matcha filling. I honestly don't have anything negative to say about this. RED BEAN MATCHA BAGEL - it's a matcha dough with red bean filling BUT the filling doesn't go all the way around. It goes maybe 65% so if you're splitting this with someone like I did, fingers crossed you both get a decent amount. The bagel was soft and in a bagel shape but it lacked the chew of a bagel. The filling was nice and different but the matcha taste was subtle - if that. Overall, liked the idea, but I wanted more of a bagel chew than what I got and to taste the matcha better. Maybe even have a more even share of the red bean. COFFEE BRIOCHE LOAF - my husband liked this one! Which is good because I got it for him. This is quite good. Soft, lightly sweet with a coffee top. We ate this maybe 12 hours after and much of the top layer had "melted" and gotten on the cellophane but it was still delicious. Perfection. I definitely scraped off the coffee bits from the cellophane so it didn't go to waste. PINEAPPLE BUN W/ MILK - I grabbed this one thinking there was a filling inside and there wasn't. I don't know if the bun was placed in the wrong location or the name is telling me the bun isn't vegan but it's a good pineapple bun but without anything inside, it was a tad dry. Maybe it needs a pat of butter like they do in HK. MELON PAN - I haven't had this in a good long while so I got it for fun. It's smaller than the pineapple bun and the topping is a little sweeter - I remember crunching on sugar crystals. It's not bad but also not filled so it's a tiny bit on the dry side. The place has tables to the side where you can enjoy your goodies. I didn't stay too long but they definitely serve drinks and delicious cakes as well. The staff were nice and the place seemed on the dim side. Fingers crossed I can go back during the day to get a better idea of what they have! In the meantime, this is a good place for an Asian bakery fix. They do list out ingredients under the names of their baked goods so that's awesome! From what I could see, their baked goodies are likely not vegan or gluten-free friendly, though...

Overall, if you're looking for a bakery to try, this place is absolutely worth a visit. There's plenty of parking and a few tables where you can sit, relax, and enjoy your treats.
