However we weren't the biggest fan of the drinks, The latte was good but had a lot of foam. The matcha was fine but didn't have a strong matcha taste and tasted very milky. I did ask for less ice so this contributed to the extra milkiness. A large hot latte with white mocha and peanut butter and oat milk and a special ice matcha came to $17 and change. We were both a little shocked by the price. It's $0.50 a syrup, not sure if oat milk was another extra charge. For the price I'd expect both drinks to taste amazing. Cute cafe but think I'd try someplace else next time.

I just wanted to give an update to the review I posted a few years ago, and provide tips for other…read morecustomers in the area. I highly recommend people to get donuts and coffee from Frappe Joe's rather than Dunkin or Starbucks down the road. First of all, the baked goods are made fresh daily at Joe's rather than shipped in from a factory. You can taste the difference. Second, I've had way more positive customer service experiences at Joe's than the other two places combined. Third, they also have salads, wraps, and pitas. Try the falafel. When I ordered it, I got it in a wrap with greens, cucumbers, and tahini. I thought it great. The falafel had good spices and a crispy outside. It looked small, but I found it to be very filling. And it wasn't sloppy. I hate when you're eating a wrap and it disintegrates through your fingers. This held up well, even when I started eating it 15 mins later, so whoever crafted it knew what they were doing. I also think the price was good for what I got in return. The coffee is still great too. I wish more people would consider the quality and care that small businesses put into everything they do in order to compete with the corporate coffee shops. If they did, they'd realize how much better it all is at Frappe Joe's. And don't forget to tip, folks, since the customer service deserves it.

So I gotta come back. 2nd best seller is the cookie butter latte. Yummm not too sweet and not too bitter coffee!!! Delicious! The menu has a lot of specialty drinks and also some seasonal specials. We didn't try their pastries, but they also look good. They have two small tables and 4 chairs for seating inside, the cafe is quite small and it seems to be more of a grab and go place. Street parking out front is not allowed so I parked on a side street and walked over. No issues. What we ordered: - Leche Flan Matcha (Lechera flan syrup mix syrup with your choice of milk (I chose oat milk for $.75 extra), matcha, topped with flan cold foam and a mini flan on top) - Reeses Puff Latte(Peanut butter syrup, dark chocolate late syrup, espresso, milk, topped with cold foam and Reese's puff cereal) Both of us like our drinks. The leche flan was a dessert and a drink at once. Unfortunately, I probably should have eaten most of the flan first because I left a lot of it at the bottom since I was just drinking it with the drink. I would return to try out their other offerings.

Service: I was warmly welcomed by the only employee working at the time (I'll update this review with his name later). Even while managing the café solo, he took the time to answer my questions, offer recommendations, and made me feel genuinely welcome. What I Ordered: I had the salmon toast, and it was excellent. The bread was perfectly toasted with just the right crunch while still staying soft inside. The sauce pulled everything together, and I appreciated him mentioning he was still refining the recipe--it's already one I'd order again. I also tried the Biscoff cookie, which was incredibly soft and packed with Biscoff pieces in every bite. The Detail Most People Miss: Even the restroom reflected the care put into the café. The tasteful wallpaper and quality tissues were small details that made the experience feel intentional. Worth It? Absolutely.
