Though I did not try their savory sandwiches, breads, salads, or spreads at that time, I did purchase some of their sweets. First, the Chocolate Rugelach were some of the best I have had. The delicate, flaky cookies were like little croissants and were ribboned with a rich chocolate spread. Their version also had hints of vanilla, which I really enjoyed. I also got one of their large Chocolate Chip Cookies, which was thin, but packed with gooey bittersweet and semi-sweet chocolate. It also had a light sprinkling of Maldon sea salt on the top. The people in the shop are kindly, and prices are cheap. Walking in here is like a time warp which takes me back to my childhood.
