I have never been to a Jollibee before. I must say I had a wonderful first impression. Besides the fact I did order spicy chicken but the guy put in original.. which is fine, not the end of the world. I got the 2 piece chicken meal with side of spaghetti. Chicken was good, gave me KFC feels. Temperature was super hot. We had to wait a bit for it to cool done. The spaghetti was so good. I like the lil hot dogs or whatever is really in it. I grew up like that. The sauce though was really good. Like a sweet BBQ almost. They topped it with cheese which of course was all too good. I also got the Aloha burger. I think I will always get that there. It is so tasty! The sauces and angus burger just tasted sooo good! I also got the bacon chicken sandwich, the mayo was sooo good on that. I think it was an umami mayo or something. I got both pies and both did not disappoint! We got there right on time too because there was only two other people and as we sat down to wait for our food, a huge rush came in. Good to know the people like it! Also, this location, they need to check on bathrooms because it was no bueno... *NEXT DAY ORDERED FOR DELIVERY I wanted to try the angus deluxe since it seems to be the popular burger... It was okay. I will stand by that Aloha burger though. Too good! I did try the fries this time and meh... I think they were undercooked... wasn't a fan. 25 minutes. I repeat 25 minutes to get a single ala carte burger no fries, no sides, nothing. Now onto my full review. I came here this afternoon at 12:15 pm, Tuesday the 24th of March. I ordered a ala carte cheeseburger in the drive thru. I paid 6.85 for the burger and asked to pull ahead and bring it out to me. And so I pulled ahead and waited, and waited, and waited. I finally got my "burger" at 12:40 pm, after I went inside to get what the holdup was. Went back to my car, and it was a spicy chicken sandwich, not the burger I ordered. Unacceptable. When I told the women who brought me the chicken sandwich I questioned her on the time and she said they are understaffed. Do Better Jollibee. read more

Jollibee has set a high standard in quality and consistency but this is the first one I feel is subpar. It is small with very few tables. There are 2 kioshs that you can make your order which I have not seen from other Jollibee. But may order from the app or the counter as well. I got a text my order was ready but it wasn't. When it was ready, I was missing a side. It was good that I checked the sealed bag. I also felt the food especially the fried chicken and the peach mango pie were not as good as other Jollibees (Jersey City, American dream mall and the ones I went to in Hong Kong). Like all Jollibees this one is also very busy, maybe they are understaffed. But I do hope they get better. read more

It was very plain (see pic... looked depressing almost). And so not the most flavorful. Given Dave's hot chicken is not much more expensive, I'd rather get that, or Popeyes. I was in Hong Kong in 1996 when the first Jollibee opened there. I am so happy there is one nearby. I took my family and everyone loved the chicken joy but the real star of the show is the aloha burger, in my opinion. The meat itself reminds me a little of smash burgers meat. It isn't as big as a Smashburger, but it's very tasty and the cheese is really well melted and it combines with the pineapple so you have this fabulously drippy deliciousness. I was addicted to this burger when I lived in Hong Kong in the 90s and it has not changed. So good. Even better - after you eat it, you don't feel disgusting like you do if you eat a Big Mac. Their coconut freeze drink is Ssoooooo good. The peach mango pies take a normal fast food fruit pie and make it just a bit fancy. Piping hot, flaky and juicy like mangoes and peaches ought to be. Filipino fast food magic! The line moves fast (walk-in or drive-thru), they always get the order right, and even though space is tight right now, the parking and drive-thru setup is smart. The drive-thru line can wrap around twice without messing up the parking. They're expanding soon, but even now the dine-in tables flip fast. My kids crushed their meals. The sweet Spaghetti with hot dogs and cheese disappeared in minutes. The Fried Chicken Meal was solid (crispy chicken, good biscuit, lots of gravy), and my husband's Deluxe Chicken Sandwich looked like it came straight out of a commercial. I just got the Peach Mango Pie and scavenged from my kids' yummy leftovers. No shame. That pie is fried perfection! I am a huge Jollibee fan. I consider it the best fried chicken out of the major fast food chains in the area (KFC, Popeyes etc.). To get my fix I usually wind up going to the one in Edison (which opened up years ago). However, when I saw a new one had opened up in Union, I decided to check it out. It must be said that I *loathe* driving on Route 22. I think it is terribly dangerous and I'm shocked there isn't a 10 car pile up there daily. So you know I'm dedicated if I'm going to brave the drive for Chicken Joy. This location is relatively small compared to the one in Edison (about half the size). When you walk in you see seating in front of you and to the right (the end of that section is where the rest rooms are located). The counter is across from the seating to the left. Above the counter are LCD screens rotating through menu images. Surprisingly, there is only *one* register active (it looks like there is one more station but no one was there). You have to keep in mind that this place just opened about a week or so ago so they're still working out the kinks. Consider this a "soft opening" period. I say this because during my time there I noticed a lot of frantic scrambling behind the counter, one cashier making a mistake and being taken off the register and I sensed a ton of frustration. I think they are staffed well, but I think they need work in actually utilizing that staff to maximum effect. Once they nail this, my rating will go up. Most of the stars in this review are for the food, which still rocks! I had the spicy chicken with mashed potatoes and they were every bit as delicious as the ones I've had at other locations. The chicken is crispy and had a nice bit of heat while the mashed potatoes reminded me of KFC's mashed potatoes, which I love. I imagine that in a month or so this location will get into a smooth rhythm and improve its service. Once it does that, it will be aces! read more

I love Jollibee and I am thrilled they opened one closer to me. We had family over and got a big order of fried chicken with gravy, tenders, fries, chicken sandwiches, and the spaghetti Filipino style with sweet sauce. Also got a delicious pineapple quencher. Ordered through the App and everything was ready and delivered by the very friendly manager. I will be back here again soon. read more

A smaller Jollibee than I'm used to. I've been to all the Jollibee locations in NJ and this definitely feels the tiniest. That being said, their portions are also small like one other Yelper mentioned. We're used to the mashed potatoes in the spaghetti container but in this location, they're in the tiniER container. We feel cheated especially considering how cheap mashed potatoes are to make. The young lady who took our order was sweet. All smiles and answered all my questions. The one who fixed my order was abrasive. And the tatted one who I asked for paper plates was even more rude. We looked at each other so I asked for paper plates. No one acknowledged me so I asked someone else, & tattoo abruptly got snappy. I said I thought she didn't hear me. Freaking acknowledge me then. Nod or something. In any case, the flavor was good. So I absolutely LOVE Jollibee. It's my favorite fried chicken restaurant hands down. I was excited to try this location because it's brand new. In comparison to other Jollibee's, the chicken was definitely fried hot and ready to go BUT my major concern is that it was incredibly salty. I've never eaten at a Jollibee where I couldn't finish the chicken because the salt was overbearing but this time it happened. The chicken was WAYYYYYY TOOO SALTY. I'm hoping that this was a mistake for the day or something that never happens again but please please, if somebody from management is reading this. Jollibee is never known for having chicken that's Tom salty, and this was unbearable. read more

For Jollibee, food is always good they got it down to a science. Had the 6 piece bucket with mashed potatoes for the sides and also a serving jollibee spaghetti. Food came out very quickly. All I can say is work on your customer service. No greeting and seemed like the employee didn't even want to be there. A simple hello or welcome goes a long way. There was plenty of seating but it seemed pretty cramped in there. If you're craving amazing jollibee chicken definitely stop on by. Plenty of parking and the location is so convenient. They have a drive thru as well. Also I'm hoping they expand their menu to offer things like palabok. Or white rice. Or burger steak. Maybe in the future. Please work on your customer service (think chick fil a) and expanding your menu. People can get chicken anywhere these days. Maybe offer certain items for limited time like the palabok or burger steak. I want this business to succeed. So I hope it's better the next time I stop in. read more

Long wait times when it is really busy there but their food is always hot and great!!!!

Do not waste your time if you do not to wait 40min plus for your food. After 45 minutes I gave up..The young lady behind the counter said please wait it should be right out. I said I have no confidence that would actually happen. The line cook yelled 7 or 17 minutes on all chicken right after... The Manager comes and refunds my money to my card and said 5 to 8 business days for refund.. No sorry for the wait..No customer service from him whatsoever. This is actually the 2nd time I had been but I gave them a pass at 35 minutes because it was the first week they were open...I just wanted a 2 piece ..seemed reasonable in under 45 minutes..To top it off the young lady said that they prioritize online orders even while customers are ordering inside at counter..YIKES.. read more
