Met a group here as one of my friends wanted to support the establishment as they are struggling to stay open. I got there earlier than my group but was met with a very sweet employee who helped me tremendously. I ordered the impossible burger and sweet potato fries. I had jalapeños and grilled onions added. The burger was delicious, and quite messy which made it even more tasty. I hadn't had an impossible burger in a long while. The food is very good and owner very sweet. I had to leave early but my group said the owner stopped by their table and offered encouraging words of wisdom. This is the ultimate customer service. Note: Sorry no pictures as I ate that burger quickly.

Pros- I really liked the decor and vibe inside. The cashier was extremely pleasant. The bathroom was huge and clean. We ordered the mild wings. They were crispy, as we like them, and great! I'd definitely get them again. Cons- the bathroom was out of paper towels- this should be refilled at the end of each day to prep for the next day and checked throughout the day. Ranch is a common condiment to accompany wings but they didn't have any. Although the fried pickles had a nice pickle to batter ratio, the batter had way too much pepper in it- they had more heat than the wings! Overall- good wings and establishment. Glad we took the drive to try it but not worth revisiting.

I have been following Urban Burger on IG for quite awhile so me and my family decided to try after the owners IG post asking for people to come support his small business. Let me tell you im glad we did!!!!! Urban Burger is in the middle of Cranford NJ downtown just down the street from the train station. Its a small spot but has a good amount of table. The decor is dedicated to all things music. I noticed cool wall of old cassettes as an art installation. Also lots of pictures of artist hung around the restaurant. The menu is pretty full! I was surprised. They have lots of sides and wings. I came for the burger and it did not disappoint!!! I ordered the Biggie Smalls which came with pickes chopped onion and cheese. One of the best burgers ive had!!!! My kids had milkshakes and they loved them. The fries are fresh cut and delicious!! The evening we went the place was pretty busy with to go orders. We waited almost an hour dine in. The staff was very apologetic but we understood and wasnt in a rush. The food def made up for it because my family was very happy!!! I truly recommend giving this place a try. Please support a small black owned business!!!!!

I typically try to visit a place multiple times and try a few different things before I review, but I feel like I have to say something about this place. I've been looking for a new burger spot since Loaded Burgers in Garwood closed. I came because of the viral video, and I am all about supporting small businesses. So, I got a single patty with mushrooms and my partner got a Biggie burger (onions, pickles, etc). We both enjoyed what we got. I'm going to be honest here. The patties are very thin, similar to Burger King, but a lot less disappointing. The fries are really, really good. They taste like Five Guys fries with that potatoey-skin-left-on flavor, just a little thinner. Also, they were salted perfectly; I hate when fries have too much salt. I think the fry portions were good too. I see reviews on here complaining about the prices, but I think the prices are fine. Five Guys, Burger King, Smashburger, and McDonald's charge more, and their food quality and service has tanked significantly. I would rather give my money to Urban Burger. The eating area felt a little tight between tables, but all tables looked clean, especially for a place that serves fried foods. The servers were upkeeping and always checking if we needed anything. I asked for a little cup of water and got a large serving bottle for the table. Please note, I once went to a filthy Smashburger and they charged me for a cup of water, so this was a very nice and appreciated. I think it might be a little difficult for some to find a parking spot, but don't give up. It's worth it. One last thing, I want to suggest that the owner carry A-1 sauce or make an equivalent. That's not a complaint, I just wish I had it for my burger.

    Inside. Lots of seating.

Time for an update as my last review was written over a decade ago! I ate here last week and met up with a friend. there's a nearby parking lot so you don't have to walk too far. You can scan the barcode and place the order with the front and they'll bring it out to you. I ordered the impossible burger with brie and fig jam. They do serve fries and other items on the menu if burgers aren't your thing. Service was really good and it was clean outside. This is a great casual burger place and has some thing for everyone. I wouldn't mind coming back.

Delivery Order - Everything I ordered was pretty good. Food was delivered on time and was packaged well. Burger, Mac and Cheese, and Corn Poppers, all tasted good and seemed fresh.

There are times when Tik Tok lets you down... and then there's Urban Burger!!! I'm so glad I gave this place try! The burger options were amazing and being a Brooklyn Girl, you know I went with the Biggie Burger. The food did not disappoint. I couldn't choose, so I had the wings to-go.

Cool and chic burger spot in town with a fun and unique menu. The decor is really chic and welcoming, you definitely go in and feel relaxed and comfortable. Service was excellent as well. Would definitely recommend.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. The place was clean and the service was good. I ordered a cali burger, macaroni and cheese, fries, and the focaccia chicken sandwich. Everything was very good. I was skeptical at first about paying $15 for a chicken sandwich by itself, but You get a lot of food for the price. The mac n cheese didnt have much flavor though. All in all i would defiantly come back. Spent $40.

Cozy chic burger joint with many vegetarian and carnivore options . Service was impressive the girl at the register was inviting and possessed true customer service skills! Got their double stack cheeseburger and shared with my daughter it was huge, cooked to perfection with pickles onions lettuce and tomatoes . Oreo milkshake was thick and sweet with chunks of cookie. Was not fond of the fries though they tasted unwashed and burnt. Will return to try other options. Their decor is so cute.

I love a good burger and a restaurant opened on Mondays, and this fit both categories We were in the area for photo shoots and were looking to support a local place in town, and we found this cute little joint. They had an awesome selection of burgers and mine was delicious! We loved the cool vibe of the place and sat up front looking out at the adorable town. The service was super and the people working there were so friendly and helpful. It was a terrific experience overall and I'd highly recommend grabbing a meal here.

Thank you to the cashier for informing me about the combo deal! The quesadilla burger was delicious and I couldn't stop biting into it. The fries were also well made. My only issue was that it was freezing inside the restaurant. I don't know if they don't have heat or the heat was just broken that day, but I had to keep my winter jacket on the whole time I was there. I hope they were able to get it fixed!! It was packed on the Friday night we visited, with folks lined up for seating, or to hang at the bar and enjoy the bar scene. No reservations. Our late dinner worked fine as the mostly millennial and Gen-Z crowd started thinning shortly after we arrived. Millburn has always been a draw for neighboring townsfolk in search of a meal out. I remember this foodie town from 25 years ago, when its pizza, kosher and diner offerings were top notch. It seems to have upgraded its food scene several notches since my last visit so many years ago. Pure nostalgia for me which made for a very flavorful evening. TOP TIP: Street parking in this part of town is a hassle and the local cops keep a sharp eye for illegally parked cars and inebriated drivers. So park further away from the center of town where you are more likely to snag a legal spot on a busy night.

In fact, this time it looks to be a literal home. We stopped by last night to watch my beloved Gonzaga Bulldogs end their tournament run against Purdue. I could go into quite a bit of detail about some very shady calls in the paint and what I think should have been a taunting foul on Purdue's future proctologist Fletcher Loyer, but I digress. As soon as I walked in, I could tell I was going to like it. Prior years have been marred by loud sports bar atmospheres where you have to battle tooth and nail to convince someone to change the channel to something that isn't a mediocre NYC-area sports team (I say this as a Mets fan as well). Liberty was significantly quieter, definitely had an older crowd but also had numerous TVs throughout. The best of all worlds. I walked maybe 10 feet from the entrance, asked the bartender if she could switch the TV to the Zags on TBS, and that was that. Aside from a weird moment in the second half when the TV mysteriously changed to ESPN for a few minutes (we never confirmed the culprit), we had primo viewing of the game. Somehow we also managed to sit down next to a couple whose son was currently at Purdue. What a world. Vibe is everything with a place like this. I did a mild double-take when I realized the bar was located in a literal residential neighborhood in what may be someone's actual house (or at least upstairs). There's a parking lot on the side that had plenty of spots, and overall this was one of the most conveniently located establishments I've ever been to - it's about 30 seconds from Route 78 both ways. Initially I felt bad for the neighbors, but as bars go this is not exactly one that's going to be hosting raucous throwdowns outside or anything. You may actually be able to go to bed at 9pm living next door, which is my personal dream. The interior has a lot of tchotchkes behind the bar, and is surprisingly comfortable/spacious. The game started a little after 7:30pm on a Friday, but there were seats available right in front of the TVs and most of the patrons seemed to be in the back area playing pool. It did get a little more crowded throughout the game, but never to a point where it felt claustrophobic. The clientele demo skewed all over the place - several older codgers looked like they'd been rejected from Rock of Love Charm School (I thought one in particular was a dead ringer for Poison's CC DeVille), but there was also a few young men roaming around and middle-aged couples/singles throughout the establishment as well. Pretty much anyone who would theoretically come into a bar, did. We had a good bartender, who not only accommodated my TV request, but was friendly and accessible throughout our stay. I was in a sweet palate mood, and she offered to make a Hawaiian Volcano, apparently a drink pilfered from her days at TGI Friday's years ago. It's not something I'd necessarily get on a regular basis, but it definitely brought me back to my early legal drinking years for sure. I could taste some Malibu and juice, and sipped them throughout the game. We also got mozzy sticks and a pepperoni bar pie. Both were really decent for what they were, especially the mozzy sticks, which were fried perfectly. I thought the pizza tasted like a giant Bagel Bite, which is not an insult. But let's be clear - this is a dive bar, so it's not like you're wandering into the kitchen and stumbling across Jeremy Allen White from The Bear. You want something fairly tasty to munch on, and we got it. Strong recommend. I think expectations for a dive bar should be pretty simple - comfortable and pleasant. This was certainly that, minus the March Madness heartbreak.
