Besides the…read morefact I did order spicy chicken but the guy put in original.. which is fine, not the end of the world. I got the 2 piece chicken meal with side of spaghetti. Chicken was good, gave me KFC feels. Temperature was super hot. We had to wait a bit for it to cool done. The spaghetti was so good. I like the lil hot dogs or whatever is really in it. I grew up like that. The sauce though was really good. Like a sweet BBQ almost. They topped it with cheese which of course was all too good. I also got the Aloha burger. I think I will always get that there. It is so tasty! The sauces and angus burger just tasted sooo good! I also got the bacon chicken sandwich, the mayo was sooo good on that. I think it was an umami mayo or something. I got both pies and both did not disappoint! We got there right on time too because there was only two other people and as we sat down to wait for our food, a huge rush came in. Good to know the people like it! Also, this location, they need to check on bathrooms because it was no bueno... *NEXT DAY ORDERED FOR DELIVERY I wanted to try the angus deluxe since it seems to be the popular burger... It was okay. I will stand by that Aloha burger though. Too good! I did try the fries this time and meh... I think they were undercooked... wasn't a fan. Note on pics: I took more pictures through the app but looks like they didn't all take. I did have a nice pic of the burger and a better pic of the chicken sandwich.

I ordered a ala carte cheeseburger in the drive thru. I paid 6.85 for the burger and asked to pull ahead and bring it out to me. And so I pulled ahead and waited, and waited, and waited. I finally got my "burger" at 12:40 pm, after I went inside to get what the holdup was. Went back to my car, and it was a spicy chicken sandwich, not the burger I ordered. Unacceptable. When I told the women who brought me the chicken sandwich I questioned her on the time and she said they are understaffed. Do Better Jollibee.

Popular spot and I can see why! The fried chicken here is impressive - it's reasonably priced,…read moregenerously sized, and nicely flavored. Despite the "hot" name, you can also choose no spice so I appreciate that everyone can come here with any level of spice tolerance. I shared the two sliders with fries plus a side order of mac & cheese, and I was surprised the sliders were almost the size of standard burgers! It actually ended up being great to share for two people (or alternatively, I saw others boxing their second slider for home). I happened to stop by during a lull, but shortly afterwards the line almost filled up the entire entrance area. Definitely a popular lunch spot.

Recently Dave's Hot Chicken ran a promotion that crossed over with the "Fallout" Amazon show so I had extra incentive to visit! I was home so I wound up driving to this location on 22. To get the promotion, I ordered a meal with the "saucy bites". I ordered the bites with the spicy BBQ sauce. The texture was fantastic, with a good crisp exterior and the chicken was not dried out, which is always my biggest worry with such dishes. The spice was low for me, but your mileage may vary. The interior of the restaurant has plenty of seating. This includes one long table with high chairs and more conventional tables with seats. The interior is painted with bright colors and looked very fun and welcoming. They do have rest rooms as well. The staff was super nice and answered my questions about the menu. Dave's Hot Chicken is a great place to get a snack or a fast food meal.

The employees were so friendly when I arrived and the food is delicious!! I got the handheld gyro (chicken yeero) with tomatoes, red onion, fries and tzatziki and it was perfectly balanced. I also got a Greek salad and was so happily surprised with how refreshing it is! The tomatoes are so good. I only wish there was a smaller size to get as a side dish. Overall 10/10!

I'm seeing many 3-4 star reviews from fellow Yelpers and I keep thinking that perhaps my experience…read morewas a singular one. The two stars I'm giving here is for the restaurant itself. This restaurant looks great. There is a nice counter area to order, a really nice seating area inside and even outdoor seating. Some of the decor makes you feel like you're in a household's kitchen. By the cashier there is a table you can wait at complete with local newspapers. It's very charming. This was my first visit and I ordered my food to go. I had two key dishes. The first was hummus with falafel, which is very standard for me whenever I go to any Mediterranean place. When I opened the take out box at home I was really surprised. Most places give you a good amount of hummus, but here it was basically a thin layer. Kind of like a layer of mayo on a sandwich (maybe a tad thicker). Then on top of the hummus was a huge layer of pickled vegetables and tiny pickles. This was a surprise. I've had hummus orders from a lot of restaurants before and I've *never* seen this on an order before. Then the falafel balls were on top and well...they were really dry and didn't have much flavor. Now, sometimes you can cover that up by just coating the falafel in hummus, but there wasn't enough hummus to do that. The dish was just disappointing all around. The other dish I tried were the Lemon Potatoes. They were good! The lemon flavor was strong and they were cooked well. Not the best example in the area, but they would do in a pinch. At some point I'll give this place another try. Maybe this was a fluke (at least I hope so).

I'm here to continue with spreading the word that this place serves top quality sandwiches. I even reheated my leftover sandwich for my husband the next day and he gave it a solid 9.2 saying it's one of the best chicken sandwiches he had (tried the somerset). Imagine if he ate it fresh? When you order, they even deliver it to your car. Think Sonic vibes. Definitely stopping by again in the future to try more items.

I also added sauteed onions. Overall, it was okay, lacking some flavor and it was not as filling as I'd expected. I wanted to understand and experience the hype about American Melts, but it fell flat for me. It was just okay. Despite being underwhelmed, I am still giving 4 stars because the service was great and I am impressed with the price range. Every sandwich on their menu is under $10, and that stands out especially these days when a mediocre burger is $15+ minimum. You can even "build your own grilled cheese" sandwich. For these reasons, I am willing to give American Melts another try and perhaps a different item on the menu.

From past bad experiences with burgers and product quality issues in many different airport restaurants, I normally don't order burgers because they are always cold, dry, tasteless, and downright horrible. But this burger from Shake Shack was surprisingly very good. I ordered from the self-serving kiosk and the wait time for my order was about 5 minutes. The entire restaurant including the counter area, dining area, and even the condiments station was all very clean and inviting. I ordered the Double Shack Burger made with two smashed angus beef patties, American cheese, and topped with lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and Shack Sauce on a toasted potato bun, an order of fries and a 20 oz bottled drink for $24.79. A little step, but of course, all menu items are à la carte, and this is airport dining. The bun was fresh soft, and lightly toasted. The burger patties were nicely smashed, hot, juicy, the cheese melted and all the condiments were fresh, cool, and bright. This burger was prepared with care and assembled beautifully to create the perfect burger. The crinkle cut fries were perfectly cooked, lightly salted, and golden brown. This was by far the BEST airport burger and fries I have ever eaten. Date of Visit: Saturday 05-03-26 Shake Shack | Newark Liberty International Airport | Terminal A

Since it was early morning, orders were getting fulfilled quickly. The food had the all familiar taste and quality.
